The air quality is good, and you can overlook the Pasir Gudang seaport in Johor, Malaysia. Coney Island is nearby, about 500 meters away. This is also one of the places where the Japanese massacred Chinese during World War II.

The jetty itself is not that big. The place is usually not crowded at all. You can find a quite place on the sand to sit relax and have a late afternoon picnic. You can buy food from Punggol Settlement nearby. The toilet facilities are in the Punggol Point park.

Most visitors in this area probably end up going to Coney Island, living this place relatively untouched. That being said, many of the Coney Island beach areas are also not that crowded, but the Coney Island beach area is very narrow compared to this area.

There’s a nearby bike rental that is relatively okay in terms of the bikes they rent and the price for it. Not recommended for a weekly kinda thing. There’s also restaurants and a 7-11 nearby as well so if you’re hungry while taking a stroll by the beach that could work out for you depending on your needs. The view isn’t too stellar but the sea breeze is kinda nice. Only issue is that it’s really far if you don’t drive.

The jetty itself is nothing much to speak about. It’s a normal T-shaped concrete structure that is used mainly as a mooring for boats from Pedra Branca. But the fishing community that congregates there regularly is what gives it it’s soul. There’s a sense of the old Kampung spirit with the dedicated fishing enthusiasts that gives character that you don’t ordinarily encounter in modern Singapore. A good place to chill out and relax if you like fishing.

Nice place to relax and enjoy the sunset or sunrise. There is a viewing platform above the jetty. Coast guard office that has a clear view of the Jetty, so you’re pretty safe if and when they are there. Paths leading towards Coney Island as well. There are a few eateries nearby. Washroom and shower areas provided as well. Carparks are available.

Great for a morning bicycle ride via this area which lead you to park connector and this Punggol beach area, the sand is very soft and the sea water is quite clear/clean that you can even soak your feet into it to feel the calm and cold of the sea water. This area is recommended for those who want something out of the normal fast pace city lifestyle. Here you can relax your mind and body while having the breeze wind and the sound of the wave.

Punggol Point jetty in the 60’s were very busy, there were many boats coming and going. It is the place for seafood after work hours. In fact a big square floating platform was built surrounding 3sides of the jetty. It was the best place for catching big flower crabs using square nets with shark meats(cheap bait). There used to be a Jumbo Floating Seafood Restaurant at Punggol Point and was burned down at the sea nearby. I kown many adults back in 60’s majority of them went to a better place. I hope someone who has information on this can to explain more. In the old days Punggol point bus teriminal was for 82 and 83. The right side have 3 shop houses, and the coffee shop (good old fashion chicken rice) situated next to the sea with stone cliff. Left side further down a bit (space out for boat to go down the ramp to sea). there were no seafood restaurant. At the bus teriminal right side has a hill, and you can get indian curry fish and rice besides teh tarih and roti prata. On left side 50 meters alway was a bay, and a fancy boat house and seafood restaurant. There were many speed boat and small boat docked in front of the boat house. The usual customers were foreigners.

Local residents often fish here. The factories of Pasir Kudang can be seen on the opposite bank, reminiscent of the complex districts of Kawasaki and Yokohama. What bothers me is that sometimes there are people swimming. There is also wastewater from the factory, so I don’t think it’s a very swimmable sea.

It is at the Punggol Point ( End of Punggol Road ).You will see the Punggol Point Observation Deck first on road level, it is below it infront of the police post.It is has been built a long time ago, during the British Colonial days but has been kept in good condition. It is a favourite place for fishing when the tide is high.People going to and from Pulau Ubin embark and disembark at the jetty.Justby it is the Punggol Ponit Park , starting point of the Punggol Promenade Nature Walk and the Punggol Settlement ( A Big F&B Establishment). It is quite breezy at times and nice, quiet and tranquil,a nice place to be.It is accessable by public buses ( Bus 84 from Punggol Bus Terminal exit D ), taxis and own transportations. Can also cycle there by way of the Punggol Park Connector or by Punggol Road.Sunday evenings can see quite a number of cyclists there.

I heard alot of wonderful things about the PCN here and so decided to go try bike there. It was just way too crowded. It was picturesque for sure, but I could not enjoy it without hitting the pedestrians. The path width is only half of that of East Coast Park. And the pedestrians were very inconsiderate and occupied almost entirely lane. Not fun. I think it’s a design flaw by National Parks because there’s definitely room for separate pedestrian and bike lanes. Not recommended unless you love to zip through crowds.

This is where you will board the ferry to go to Outward Bound Singapore (OBS). You may be able to catch sunrise if you’re lucky. If not, read up on how this stretch of beach was used as a massacre ground during the Japanese Occupation.

A small jetty at the end of Punggol Road which offer a look out into the Straits of Johore. There are folks fishing from the jetty but the jetty is still in use and occasionally I can see boats coming in to disembark passengers.

Beautiful jetty and wheelchair accessible. Very windy and relaxing, tranquil and peaceful. Great place for a family picnic. Beach is very clean and well maintained. Air is fresh and scenery is superb. Jetty is near the punggol settlement where there are a few restaurants, cafe and a tiny convenient store.

Very nice jetty, you are able to get good sunset / night pics here. However it can get really dark after 8pm since there’s little lighting here, and there’s no lighting at the beach. The beach is clean though. And you only have to take one bus service here from Punggol.

Small jetty for the locals who like to have a quick fishing rod casting and self time with the sea. Furthermore, after 2 years of non-vacation, you can come here to sniff the sea breeze and rub sand between your toes.

Nice location for Instagraming and tiktoking.
