Halal mookata cum great Western …. Not too bad for a neighborhood eatery… Tried mookata seafood & beef, good..rating 8.5/10…. This time round ate beef hor fun,soupy n sedap- 8/10… Also sample the fish n chips(well cooked, relatively fresh) and beef steak (quite tender n reasonable portion) from my family members….. Overall 8.5/10…
If only i could give more than 5 stars. The place is very clean. I like the marinated chicken and their mango blended drink that comes with every paying pax was refreshingly good. For a couple eat out, expect to pay $60 all in. Which is really worth every cents to me. Please come and support they are really honest food owner.

Best variants of sauces…especially the CILI KICAP!. They even have buffet option from Mon-Thurs! Worth every penny worth to traveling from one end (Bedok) just to eat at CHICKATA! Will highly reccomend this place to go to n will definitely return again.

Stall is just beside my block. For my views, the food is just okay. It’s rare to see a buffet stall which is near our home for our convenience. Staffs are friendly to give passerby a smile even they are walking past, not for eating. Hopefully the western food menus can be back again. Missed eating them from Chickata.

Standard hot plate eatery, but location is unique because it is located by lush greenery and open field.
Staff are very friendly and purchase process is easy to understand.
Second standout is the 1 or 2 ala carte items, Thai-flavoured items; tom yam items were sold out, so it’s an indicator of the popularity.
Would be 5 stars if there was better cooling for patrons seated outside. Fortunately for me it was raining, so not a big issue, but I can predict it will be really hot if it wasn’t.

Food is really good. Previously wasn’t halal and now it is halal certified. Need to reserve as they are always fully booked. Can choose by hour or ala carte. Their meat has different marination and can choose the set and the size you want according to your preference. Similar to Seoul garden. Can cook your own meat and eat. Also have fried rice for kids.

A decent place to satisfy your halal mookata cravings if you’re in the west. Price was reasonable and so was the food. There isn’t much variety in terms of their seafood and sides options as compared to eg.flame cafe. Though at flame cafe you’ll have to add few dollars premium for that. Just wanted to highlight the difference so you know where to go given your budget and preference. Overall a good place to try for those who’ve yet to check out chikata and will definitely come again.

It was my first time here and I had a pleasant experience! The staff was really friendly and attended to us politely. The chicken soup tastes so good after the meat “juice” has seeped in. I will recommend eating with more people so you get to try more dishes. Price is very worth it. Has freeflow plain water and rice. Soup was topped up too when the staff saw we had a little left. Definitely giving five stars for its location (pretty much the nearest from my place), the soup and the price that’s pretty affordable. I love the chilli kicap that they made. Really really love it. The food range was okay, not bad.. But nevertheless it was one of the best and halal hot pot places i’ve been to so far. Would recommend to others
