Nice place
Zhenghua Park is a park with hiking and biking trails that connect to a network of trails stretching to the Bukit Timah forest reserve.
Because there are so many trails, you can choose how far to walk/cycle. While the trails are secluded at times, they are not too far from the main roads, so you won’t get lost. You can see where you are on Google maps.
This is one trail that I took, which took me about 90 minutes including stopping to take pictures. The Observatory is a nice place to go as it’s windy this time of year. If you enjoy hiking, this is a nice area to explore.
Went for a brisk walk around 8 pm and almost about to stamp the gold ringed cat snake along the Zhengua Park connector path and had goose bumps when saw the snake coiled up so close in front of me, with a small mouse held in its mouth.
A Chinese lady was so scared to cross the snake area and I told her to hold my hand and helped her to cross by walking around the side mud area. The lady scared me again by screaming when I helped to cross the place where the snake was coiled up! Another goose bump created by her 🙂
Later I pushed the snake away from the walkway using a long piece of broken tree branch found nearby and the snake quickly moved away from the walk path, with its head held a bit high from the ground and smoothly gliding away with the little mouse in its mouth, which was making helpless screeching sound in its predator mouth! A bit scared to hear the sound at that hour with darkness surrounding that area.
Later on as I started moving and on the way I warned the other people to look out for any snake on the pathway as the area was very dark with the lights being covered up by the tree branches. I would strongly suggest NEA to always lookout for such tree branches covering the lights and trim down the branches to have clear visibility for people going for a night walk / jog.
This was the 3rd time I encountered snakes just in front of my shoes. Previous time was a few years back in the snake year (exactly on the day of CNY itself), while walking with my family in the evening time in the same pathway nearby, a black shiny snake slithered away in front of us.
Another time it was near the Pangsua pond area, where there is a wooden bridge very near to the pond with rocks below in the wooded area. That time was a late evening time and darkness was about to set-in and a very long black shiny snake quickly passed in front of me (I almost about to step on it as I was jogging very slowly) and quickly it ran down to the rocky area. I remember it was the time period when the trees / bushes clearance works were on-going to build the current gym area along the pond. So believe the snake was trying to run for a better cover area due to clearance works.
Anyhow the experience in and around Bukit Panjang area with snakes can’t be forgotten easily and it is always etched in my mind and appears so vivid as if it happened now.
Hope those reading this message will watch out for any snakes particularly based on my experience it is the evening time onward they may be moving out for finding food or going for their evening walk;-)
Cheers!
Kiran!
Nice walking place
We walked the path! Good for the body and mind especially when close friends came together and constantly reminded each other of social distancing…haha

Nothing Special about this park. HOWEVER the view of the HDB blocks around block 276 Bangkit is AMAZING. There is a park there which is unmarked in google maps.
Good for exercise

A park connector built on top of a pipeline
Nothing special
Nice view of the nature and the playground is good for kids!! I love to walk inside the park as it’s good for an exercise…!;)
Ran from Chestnut Avenue (Start) all the way to Segar road and back as a loop. Great run with some slopes but great shade which made it cooling. It also leads to Chestnut Park observatory tower if keen to explore that park.
Great
Pleasant park connector, with many up and down hills trek. Shady and nicely maintained, unfortunately it is beside the BKE, making it a bit noisy from the expressway’s noise pollution. There is a fitness corner and playground along the way, handy for those who want to stop for static workout. There is a side track underneath a flyover leading to the Chestnut Nature Park. Beware of a couple of stray dogs that have been prowling there for a few generation. Not threatening to humans but may charge towards you if you are walking your dogs.
great place to exercise

Good experience …
Good for sport

Nice n quite place for a jog or walk only that beware of cyclist around who is riding fast in the area ..
Nice park to walk even during the hot afternoon because the park is shaded by lots of trees. The path is well maintained and some part of the park can be a challenging because of the steep slope to walk up.
Peaceful place to walk and several paths to take and explore. Only not near mrt. But can link to dairy farm road though

Nice park connect to various area.
Nice place to jog
Great trees, nice short jogging tracks
Good place to have a walk or hike to bukit timah nature reserve.
There are both bicycle and walking trail, up and down slopes, good place to get a work out.
Jogged at 11pm…very quiet. Not suitable for single females unless with additional company. Saw a wild boar and flying squirrel. Pretty awesome feeling. Overall not bad place to visit except that it can be really isolated during wee hours so not advisable for females alone.
Great place for jogging.
Good running place.

这里可以做运动还有人在这里踏脚车
Pleasant nature walk – good paved walkways, cool even during hot afternoons. Able observe wild creatures – squirrels, birds, wild chickens, monkeys and many more. Occasionally helicopters and Chinook flying above. Beware – falling branches. Couple of shelters along the route in event raining. Park well kept.

Great place for a walk
Nice placw for trail rides
There isn’t really anything much about it. But it does have lots of cool views. You can see BKE Expressway from a distance and it’s a good idea to jog around. The fact that this park is nearly like a jungle because it’s just trees and greenery, it still has very scenic view. You might wanna bring some shades and a cap. 😀
Nice park
Great park for a hike or run
A fairly linear and shady neighbourhood park, along the PCN, connecting to various nearby parks (e.g. Zhenghua Nature Park, Chestnut Nature Park, Bukit Panjang Park) and various trails for hiking and cycling. Popular with families, joggers and cyclists.
Very lush greenery, providing good shade in the morning. Nice scenic nature view along the trail. A sandy children’s playground and a fitness corner along it.
Seems narrower and with some steep slopes at some parts. So do look out for other park users when cycling.
A little noisy with BKE just beside it, but this park acts as a green buffer for the nearby HDB and other residential developments.
Will visit again, and maybe explore the Chestnut Nature park trails it is connected to.
Quite place to exercise
It’s a hiking trail just beside expressway, short trail , nothing much to see
Links expressway to condo and vice versa
Lovely
Good for rUnning n jogging.
More of a bike trial than hiking
Natural scenery, clean roads, reassuring running, exercising, and walking.
天然的风景,干净的路,让人安心的跑步,运动,散步。
Very nice n pleasant
Great quiet park for jogging or cycling
Nice park to walk even during the hot afternoon because the park is shaded by lots of trees. The path is well maintained and some part of the park can be a challenging because of the steep slope to walk up.
Great place for jogging and walking.
Peaceful, full of greenery near the highway.
Wonderful park
Good for short hikes!
Walked from Hillview MRT, Dairy Farm Park, Wallace Trail, made a left turn to Zhenghua park and ended at Bukit Panjang Hawker Centre.
The entire 3.5km walk took me about 45mins. Though it was a Sat at 7ish in the morning, the trail was not crowded. You have the option of being in the shade but next to the expressway or you can choose to walk along the open grass area where you will be exposed to the sun.
A peaceful walk before I headed to the hawker centre for my $0.60 coffee and $2.50 Nasi Lemak.
For those who have not gone up the Chestnut Observation Tower, do make a detour to go up and enjoy the view.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the traffic.
The Park Nice
Small park in HDB area
組屋區的小公園
Too many up and down slope
A great place to take a hike and best of all the parking is free but the gate closes at 7pm so better be aware of that
Good for walking
Vary interesting
So much to explore. Walk to bukit timah, mandai or Macritchie from Zhengua.
Something special.
And everyone will greet each other in the park.
It is a park for the HDB residents here and also nature lovers too. Reason this park is link up with the Zhenghua Nature Park. There is also a small Zhenghua Chilren’s Playground Park within this park.
Dated : 09/10/2017 ( Monday ).

Found wild pig and hens in the park.
Park connector from chestnut to bukit timah

Very nice walking trail with easy transfer to Bukit Panjang and Bukit Timah
Just another park
Narrow path for both cyclists and humans to share, particularly on the steep areas
Relaxing walk
Really natural park. Shady and nicely pedestrian walk.
Good place for trecking, cycling and jogging.
This park is in the Bukit Panjang area.
It has hugh river boulders lining up its drainage system with fitness and playground.
It is a link to the Central Catchment Area and Bukit Timah nature reserve.
Located between Petir Road and the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) it has a steep ascent under the BKE linking up with the bicycle park and Mandai / Southern Chestnut trails in the Central Catchment Area. This park has a trail going south to Bukit Timah through Dairy Farm park.

Everyday walking .
Good park for whole day exercises. Safe place.
The environment is very good, there are squirrel pheasants and wild boars, and fitness facilities.
环境很好,还有松鼠野鸡和野猪,还有健身设施。
Simple park on its own. The only downside is that it is just beside an expressway. Other than that, you can see wildlife in this small little park like roosters, monitor lizards, snakes, squirrels. It also connects to dairy farm trail for trekking to bukit timah hill
Fresh air! …
Nice trail..beside it has a field plain
Jogged at 11pm…very quiet. Not suitable for single females unless with additional company. Saw a wild boar and flying squirrel. Pretty awesome feeling. Overall not bad place to visit except that it can be really isolated during wee hours so not advisable for females alone.
It’s very close to nature…
Nice place to enjoy your morning exercise!
A park by the HDB estates, not much to see and the route is straight with some slopes. Easy for a family walk or beginner hike. No toilets or eatiers nearby if your hungary after the walk.

A good 2.5km+- walking trail from Segar side to the big water pipes off pending Rd.
Nice to excersize
Ideal place for mountain bikers n hikers
Brighten up your night
Refreshing
Nice way to get to various mountain bike riding spots. Nice green belt even though you can still hear the faint hum of the motorway it runs next to.
It’s fun.
好好玩的。
Great place for a stroll
Nice place to be.
A conduit park to access other parks.
nature is serene and beautiful.
A neighbourhood park. Good for brisk walking
Good place to explore with a wide variety of path. From tar to dirt
Park has 2 ends and connects directly to chestnut nature park in the middle but it’s a one way trail for mountain bikers. Park has many hills, very good if you want to train for that. But one negative thing is that it is located at highway which makes it hard to exit as you only have 2 exits around compared to other parks which have exits littered around the park. There’s also no toilet
A good place for workout and MTB…
BKE underpass to Chestnut Drive Park
Good for walk and pass thru the Chestnut Park / Mandai Trail T15
Pokemon go fans
Nice place to take a walk esp the trails at Zhenghua Park, Belukar Trail and to Diary Farm. Take in the fresh air and negative ions esp in the early mornings.
Fantasy
Nice park for hiking and cycling. Lots of gradual slopes so might not be the perfect place for scooting. Leads to chestnut nature park and encompasses across 3 areas A,B and C.
