There is nothing special about the three coffee shops. They are all chicken rice, rice, noodles, etc. So many, many foods have not come to this place. There are none of these foods, so in the mountain coffee shop, how should we separate and sell a variety of foods?

Don’t be confused by the name. Not really a aircon mall, everything is in an open concept. 3 coffeeshops near each other and a wet market with fresh seafood (closes at noon), fairprice and giant located nearby too with multiple bakery and fruits store….

It’s like they all competing against each other….but this means that good prices are here as well as good quality

The mall is large and full of shops common and uncommon in other malls even during covid-19 , great place to search for food, and shopping.
But, the mall itself is designed really badly, even for the new south wing. It uses the very old mall layout enable to squeezing jn more shops. As a result, to consumer it feels depressing thanks to the low ceiling, crowded layout, and then the maze like layout make looking for shop super hard.
To summary, I won’t spend long time shopping around here, rather just have a quick meal, grab what I need and leave.

i buy food from this place almost everyday and the people there are really great. they would remember me and we would chat for awhile before i head home. what’s sad is that one of the people that worked there either transferred to another outlet or isn’t working anymore this might be a little biased ’cause we know each other but i really love this place. an amazing thing is that the person i was talking about, he was the first to remember me and talk to me, then slowly some people working with him or from other stalls also started to recognise me. before he left, there were some new people working there and they also know me so it makes me feel better about him leaving since there are still people who remember ’cause of him.

With Giant and A cramped NTUC (something must be done to better arrange the layout for residents to safely move around, especially these days of Covid-19 restrictions), wet market, photo & printing shop and other sundry shops (which are essential to us residents) serving many residents in the Ring Road area, is walking distance for almost all of us as there is another alternative further up the road.

This is actually a dry market, not a wet one…many people are mistaken, in fact. A wet market is called wet because it is housed under a canopy or roof, with many stalls close to each other or side by side..and with hawker centre beside it. If there is no hawker centre beside it, it is not a wet market. A dry market is identifed as one as it is a row of stalls beside each other, or lined up in one or 2 rows below flats or shophouses or near flats. There are 3 shops selling flowers but mostly for praying purposes actually, at blk 418 that stretch, (selling some baby’s breath and roses) just beside the manicure /pedicure shop, selling incense papers (2 shops) and one incense shop near value shop also selling flowers for prayers.

One of the reasons why I chose this area to stay. It’s near to amenities and easy to get daily needs. Some of the shops are Fairprice, Giants, both wet and dry markets, coffee shops, and many more.
