Its quite good honestly. Visited in the middle of the night, so cant really comment on service because there is basically no one else when i arrive. However, the staffs are quite friendly. Do not that certain timing after midnight, they will close certain parts of the counter for washing so might not have food available.

It’s always crowded, but it’s great for a simple breakfast. As expected, unlike kaya toast from the Korean branch, the local toast is much better! The milk tea is delicious, and the kaya jam I bought at the branch is also delicious^^

The sandwiches choices is a must try specially ( at least for me) the Otah sandwich. Not an otah person before but this one has a good balance of spiciness from the otah, a bit of crunch and sweetness from the bread and refreshing taste from the cucumber and lettuce
Just too bad they don’t offer the set for this anymore. And not all branches has it. We got this from Changi Terminal 3 Basement 2

I’m at Yakun T1. The staff who was preparing the meals seems very experienced and skilful! The meals are really yummy I’m here on a Wed morning (6am) and there’s a longgggg queue. The boss can probably consider hiring one more staff to take orders and the other person to prepare eggs and beverage …

I used it when I returned to Japan via Singapore.
I ordered a set of kaya toast and milk tea.
Having eaten at a local restaurant, the taste was familiar.
I liked the moderate sweetness of kaya jam in the kaya toast.
I would like to use it again when I go to Singapore.

I visited the airport for breakfast, but did not forget the taste. The locals challenged the toast more than they had in the steamer, but it was a very soft steamed bread. It was delicious!! Kaya-chan comes to eat and toasts to mimic.

Something Ya Kun generally needs to look into is the overall service levels and cleanliness of the outlet. Being in the airport, it is patronised by locals and visitors alike. The less than pleasant service and almost always unwiped tables leave much to be desired.

My all time fav kopi and roti cafe but a pity this branch do not accept App payment. Counter staff was clueless about their own App. Hope this branch can accept App payment soon.

As usual, ordered my fav streamed bun and kaya butter toast set. Waiting time was acceptable today as usually will take longer. Food was great! Perfect soft boiled eggs, bun and toast.

First time in Singapore to try it.
Try the local legendary breakfast, order the kaya butter toast set,
At first, I was worried that the kaya would be too sweet to eat, but later I found that the taste was just right, not too sweet.
Double eggs are paired with soy sauce and pepper. They have a unique flavor. They will not taste very raw and delicious.
For drinks, add money and change to cold drinks Too hot

Does its job of being a Kaya Toast place, especially with the convenience of being at the main airport Terminal 3. Quality is there, but the experience can become a little stale after a while with the dim lights and dirty looking outfit. They’ve recently downsized, cutting a small portion of the space to beard papa, another dessert / tea / snack stall.

I had ya kun kaya toast breakfast at changi Airport Terminal 2, departure Hall. The quality of the breakfast is not Ya Kun quality I used to have. It is worse than cheap coffee shop in hawker centre. The coffee cup is paper cup, certainly cannot be warmed by hot water, the coffee is totally tasteless. The steamed bread is not my usual Ya Kun standard. The milo is too dilute. I am sad to see such a good local brand ruined in this way. I hope top management should look into it and restore back the old Ya kun std.

It was so delicious. I don’t like sweet bread and poached eggs, but toast and poached eggs were good. The Americano was so thick that it was almost like an espresso, and it was very delicious, a coffee and tea blend called Yuan Yang. Drinks are on the pricey side, but definitely worth a try. It has a slightly sweet coffee taste. A friend who ate kaya toast said that the buttery taste is strong, so it may not be good for people who can’t eat greasy things.
