Honestly. Overrated. Sweet sour pork was sub par. Honestly one of the worst. The only thing that was nice are the noodles. Rest. Just not that good. The small portion is really small. Almost sampler size.

Taste quite nice, however stingy on the peanuts which came with the beehoon. Portion of noodles was also on the smaller side.

Service by the China service staff was also not very friendly…

Ordered their Lor Mee, which came at a somewhat hefty price tag of $6, for 2 small prawns and 3-4 lalas. The soup is a little starchy in nature and the soup base is wholesome. Their chilli is a must-try though, it is definitely appetizing and it goes really well with the bowl of noodles. Overall, a good bowl of soup if the weather is cold or if you are feeling unwell.

The fried bee hoon taste even better when you add the vinegar chili sauce.
The claypot sliced fish with toufu was good.

What was disgustingly a scam is the fried popiah. This was introduced to us, by the boss lady. When asked what it was, she did not say fried popiah. She has been in Singapore for years and will surely know what is a popiah.

You can see the recycled to death oil that was used to fry the popiah!!!

This is obviously bad quality oil and when confronted, she act “blur”.

Such actions will surely put customers “off”.

Very bad customer service. Called to make reservation to be at 6pm. Only allowed in to be seated at 630pm. Wanted to order food at 2nd level but was informed to ask us to go 1st level to order ourselves. Even if short handed, at least should spend more effort in managing the crowd and bookings. To make the experience even worse, only 1 of the dishes we ordered came at 7pm.

Honestly, the food is good and affordable zichar and it’s like what you find in PuTien where the fried xinghua beehoon sells for SGD20. This place sells equally tasty xinghua fried beehoon for SGD5. Try the lormee also it’s good if you love to add Chinese vinegar! Highly recommended XingHua Cuisine family eatery and they have seatings on second floor so don’t worry if there’s not enough seats (misconception that most people have because the front of the shop has like 6 tables only. This is what I always dabao (pack).
