convenient public transport facilities
Woodlands MRT Station is a very crowded place in Singapore, especially because there is a square cuaseway point on the MRT. On Saturdays and Sundays, many people go shopping.
兀兰地铁站在新加坡算是很有人潮的地方，优其是地鉄上面有个广场cuaseway point,星期六、日，很多人购物逛街。
Sad they closed the toilets off and u have to go all the way to causeway point to use
It’s one of the older earlier stations since 1980’s. Older stations tends to have gloomy lighting. Looks sad and tired.
Eat, drink and have fun! Quite wow! !

Switching to TEL is complicated. First method is we have to walk all the way to the traffic light and cross over to the TEL station by the other side. And the other method is having to go all the way towards the TEL at the end via the North-south line platform area. Like, why can’t they build an underpass to the TEL?

Really good place… They recently upgraded /renovated the bus interchange that is located below the station and expaned the place. Many convenient stores found there such as McDonald’s, 7 eleven.

Very well connected station on the NSL with access to the new Thompson Line as well an integrated transport hub. Unfortunately, very few shops and resulting life at the new hub.

5.30pm Saturdayisited the CNY Bazaar just infront of the Woodlands MRT- I was greeted with CNY Songs blasting away. The best part of this Baazar, was finding a Durian Stall that sells good durians at ‘3 boxes for ten dollars’ . The kind lady sold me one yummy box for 4 dollars ( 5 fleshly pieces with small seeds)
I feel so happy! Finally found good durians at a price I am happy with. Come grab them now!

If you have an interest in knowing the development of the old Woodlands Bus Interchange into the new Woodlands Integrated Transport Hub, there is an exhibition within the bus interchange. You can also have a view of the buses that TIBS has owned during 1970s to the 1990s and the newest types of buses that roam on the roads. There is also an exhibition of the uniforms that the bus captains have previously worn. Also included is an exhibition of the old validating machine, rolls of paper for the bus tickets, bus logos and even a sample of the dashboard and steering wheel taken out from the last TIBS bus before the bus is scrapped.

It’s fun but the monkeys are disturbing all of us that are playing the playground and keep sneaking and keep taking people foods.

There are quite a lot of people, and there are shopping malls and libraries nearby. Even next to the escalator in the subway station, there are always people with no morals throwing garbage, which makes that corner super dirty
