Small mall but with nice little shops selling unique stuff. Alot of things for men. Like shoes, clothes and even a shop selling bags for men. Love it. Less crowded then most mall along orchard road.

When it was first completed, I was still a teenager attending school at the neighboring Paterson Road. Here is where the first Borders was launched in Singapore. Through the years, book sales went down and many bookshops were hit, many downsized or close down. The conical skylight is an icon that one cannot miss when walking along Orchard Road during festive seasons. Christmas with one huge Christmas tree always attracts many people to snap photos here.

You would have little reason to be there if not specifically there to be pampered and groom, and there’s Mark n Spencer of course. Only reason I was there because SG Medical office is there, only place to buy a Cpap machine

Wheelock place has so many good memories. We always used it as a meeting place. It was Borders before, a book shop. We could chill and listen to the most recent records or read the latest books. The layout is unique with 2 interestingly long escalators.

Borders had a cafe as well with nice mushroom soup and pizza.

Came here for the apple centre located right at the very top floor of the place. Didnt like the design of the escalator cause of its curved shape took quite a while to reached to the place. Place was hard to get through cause of Covid (safe entry anf exit). Overall a great place but not much shopping areas.

It’s a shopping mall worth visiting. Gotta love the food here and the night lights. You might want to try shopping here too. =) It might turn very crowded though. Regardless, it is one of the places that I’d frequent when I’m in Orchard Road. You should check it out. =)

Marks and Spencer are the title holders of this place. Used to be thriving, especially second floor with Apple there. Now its ok, and not as useful for the family or fun. Prive restaurant is a rather posh place to look at people walking around.

Another good place to hang out. Used to love to visit the bookstore “Borders” and bought quite a few books from there. Used to be a apple store there as well. A travel store that you could enter in via the linkway. Spacious and airy and you can find different cafes and restaurants, shops and amenities here. Also, links underground to the other malls and MRT in the area.

Can’t understand why the lift does not hve access to level 2. Wheelchair unable to go any shop that is located at level 2. No choice hve to be very careful using escalator to wheel handicap people down from level 3 to level 2. After meal at Japanese shop then we found the hidden lift that only access down to level 1 Mark & Spencer back store which not easy for shoppers to locate. VERY BAD DESIGN AND NOT HANDICAP USERS FRIENDLY

Former key tenant was Borders bookstore, with its stickers that could be removed without leaving any residue, and the shelf after shelf of books and the rows after rows of freeloaders. I bought my first Birkenstock’s here, a bright pink with gold spot design. Like one of those fugly shoes that you never think you’d own, but when you get them, you’re surprised and ask what took you so long. Marks and Spencer’s is here too. UPDATE- although to be precise, the second pair was a denim Birkenstock’s lookalike, from the same store. And I did get a pair of shanzhai (or, should we say, phadthai-zhai) / fake Croc’s from a relative via another relative. And I also had a pair or two of Sanuks. Never had UGGs. I also thought flip-flops were the ugliest thing, and resisted wearing them well into adulthood (like, you see people wear flip-flop at chalet. I wear Aldo. Not cos I atas. Cos I don’t like their look and feel). The current fugly-at-first-sight shoes I wear is Skechers. Like so many of the other shoes, is also I copy my family members one. The first pair I wore was phenomenally song4. Does this count as a product placement?

Wheelock Place (Chinese: 会德丰广场), (Tamil வீல்லாக் ப்லேஸ்) is a 21-floor office tower and shopping mall on Singapore’s Orchard Road.
The building was designed by Kisho Kurokawa and completed in 1994 as Lane Crawford Place (Chinese: 达卡佛坊). It is now owned by Wharf Estates Singapore, formerly “Wheelock Properties (Singapore)”, a division of Hong Kong’s Wheelock and Co.

The mall has an underpass to Shaw House and ION Orchard. It was the site of Borders’ flagship Singapore store until its closure in 2011. Following which, Marks & Spencer became Wheelock Place’s main tenant.

A new book shop, Zall Bookstore, opened in 2021.

These shopping malls in Singapore are amazing. There seems to be a shopping mall/centre everywhere you look.
Orchard road is or can be a difficult place to cross at times, with no access or crossing etc, so plan your destination if you have one in mind. Watanabe Cafe up a little further is A1 for coffee and food.

Once the grand dame of shopping mall in Singapore it never regained its glamor ever since Borders moved out. Things got worst with opening of Ion.

Which is a shame as the shop mix and clientele profile is a few notches up. Perhaps not so much the bejeweled tai-tai of its HK flagship shorebirds you will feel the difference.

Directly opposite Orchard MRT Station – An underground walkway connects ION Orchard with this mall. This mall is unlike Ion Orchard, however. Though both have Apple Stores, Wheelock has a much less variety of restaurants and shops. But, there is a huge Marks and Spencer on the first level.

Livened up my day shopping at Wheelock Place – an outstanding mall that offers a good mix of stores. Anchored by Marks & Spencer. Great connectivity from Orchard Road MRT Station (stone’s throw away, around 5 minute-walk through ION Orchard.)
On the downside, however, it seems like there are no concierge desk at Wheelock Place…? Found myself getting misdirected and lost a couple of times within the mall, with no staff to ask for directions! Had to rely on Wheelock’s digital directory – which was a bit of a task to maneuver. Took me a good half an hour to locate the baby room, very troublesome in terms of lifts and escalators. Would have been better if Wheelock offers a concierge desk… just like the one at ION.. that will make shopping more pleasurable!

This was once one of the main landmarks in Orchard with its flagship tenant Borders, it’s prominence tempered nowadays. Still very unique and one of the more quieter malls along Orchard – nice stop over or wind down place after a long day. Shops here are mostly boutique, hidden gems and some borderline obscure with some notable exceptions like Starbucks and Mark & Spencer.

Another mall in the heart of the Orchard Road-Scotts Road intersection. Conveniently connected to all the other malls like Shaw House and Ion via underground shopping links. Home to dining options like M&S Café, Sun Moon Dining, Nam Nam Noodle, and Bangkok Jam. My favorite place here is still The Great Beer Experiment which moved here when Pasarbella Grandstand closed. QCD, Apple’s only service partner in Singapore is located here as well.

Medium sized shopping mall, quite close to Orchard MRT and connect via underpass from MRT to Ion Orchard to Wheelock Place. Inconvenience place if you are travelling with baby or handicap. The lift is inaccessible to first floor. The door to outside also only have one door which is automatic and at the corner whereas no one would go except they know. The other exit was automatic door but definitely no for handicap, there are stairs out from M&S and only escalators from second floor.

    Nothing much in here also.

They should improve this to be more accessible since there link from Orchard MRT to the other side of Orchard is from here.

The mall is well located at the Singapore’ busy premier shopping district Orchard. Well connected by the train line (Red Line) at Orchard MRT, as well as buses and taxis. An underground walkway connects you to the most key shopping malls along the strech.

The building offers a few shopping option with the best being Singapore’s flagship Marks & Spencer store. The store offers not the widest selection of their clothing line but a great store stocked with great English frozen / canned / packaged grocery and fresh bakery products.

Outside adjoining the building, there is a somewhat popular eatery called Over Easy with good selection of drinks and Western food. Other food options are along the underground link between the mall and Ion Orchard (quick 5 mins walk away)

Wheelock Place houses a large Marks and Spencer shop, which is definitely a decent and affordable contemporary brand for men, women and children. They’re also diversified in food, toiletries, shoes, lingerie etc. Good value for money. Birkinstock the comfort shoe and sandalbrand which I love is also located in the same building. Quite a few food place, including Starbucks Coffee shop! This place is center as Isetan, ION Orchard, Takashimaya, House of Tang – all are within 500 metres from here. Every thing in connected via underpass! For a great shopping experience you must cover this place as well. Happy shopping.

Long standing shopping mall in Orchard Road shopping enclave, famous for its glass-cone structure. Place has undergone many renovations. Currently most of the F&Bs populate B2-L2 while some retail shops are scattered from basement to L3. Most of the higher levels are crowded with clinics and beauty spa/saloons. Connected to Orchard MRT station via underground passage

Not my most preferred shopping mall along the Orchard Road belt, but good enough considering that it’s linked to the MRT station, and I typically visit here for the Apple repair centre. There are other nice shops and restaurants around, but they’re typically rather pricey and I’ll come here specifically looking for it, not so much to window shop.

A shopping mall which seems to be stuck neither here nor there, the shops here are “weird”, and I am not sure who will want to visit them.

The useful shops are the mobile phone repair centre, the crumpler bag shop as well as sakae sushi.

Wheelock place has so many good memories. We always used it as a meeting place. It was Borders before, a book shop. We could chill and listen to the most recent records or read the latest books. The layout is unique with 2 interestingly long escalators.

    Enjoyable staycation.

Staff at Check in counter knew their roles well which made the longer waiting time (abt 45mins) to check in bearable.

Only one person does the Check in registration while the rest were ushered to a dedicated waiting room.

Food at Dine in room service – skip; eg. Mango pudding (too sweet) appears store bought rather than prepared in house. Nasi goreng rather flat taste wise.

Nice little mall, crowded most of the time. Nicely links to Ion Orchard. M&S is the main attraction here along with Editors Market (attention: women). The M&S outlet here has one of their signature cafes. Was a bit tricky to find the baby’s/nursing room though. Could do with better signage. Not sure if they have a concierge desk. Lovely location with taxi stands, mrt, loads of cafe and restaurant options right outside.

NamNam a nice little cozy Vietnamese cafe/restaurant in the basement level. You place your order at the order/cashier counter and collect your meals at the collection counter. My favorite is the BanhMi (Thit Nguoi – cold cuts served in their signature small Baguette with fresh lettuce), southern rolls with prawns, fresh herbs and peanut sauce; and Hanoi Pho with beef slices, tripes and meat balls.

Very practical mall because not only does it contain Marks & Spencer department store, it also has smaller shops with this and that, plus! My Favorite Feature: beauty and spa shops on the 4th floor. Very discreet and calming level where you’ll find hair salon and med/beauty providers. Another bonus is that they have nice, clean and actually air conditioned restrooms on several floors. Also restaurants here and there, including some with sit down and relax and don’t rush kinda vibes. Wheelock can even be a great place to sit a spell and not spend a dime. On a couple floors they have sort of lobby areas with seating, so if your tired feet need a break, it’s perfect. And last but not least, go up on the escalators and look out the big glass atrium windows for views of the city. Especially amazing during a thundershower!

A great place to shop and hangout but only during off- peak hours. There’s also a new bookshop opened recently but largely selling Chinese books imported from China. Magical. It’s a bit slower here but still distinctly unique. There’s a charm here that is difficult to find. Always has this air of classiness and feel about it. Feels like when we were back in UK but yet with that exotic Asian feel that is sublime and makes the air crisp with that tinge of freshness.

The place has not much, but a quieter area to rest our legs after shopping. Eg: Starbuck coffee or M & S cafe. The location is linked to Ion Orchard and Shaw centre that make it so convenient. There is an outdoor parking area just right opposite and so much cheaper to park our cars there than inside the mall. However, it depends on individual preference because some may not like to walk over.
