“Quiet place (weekday 2pm) in the inner lane of the area. Food is flavourful. The vegan concept is honestly really interesting; if I were to eat their waffles and ice cream without being told they were vegan, I wouldn’t have suspected anything different about them. light, fluffy, yet crisp waffles with generous amounts of chocolate sauce. flavourful, rich ice cream(I had matcha) as well! my only minor complaint would be that my waffle took some time to come despite the place being relatively empty at the time of my visit, but that’s splitting hairs. staff were very friendly!
Nice environment
Overrated vegan cafe
Food quality very low
Only ice cream is worth to try
Excellent cafe / work space concept with friendly staff and great menu choices. Waffles recommended!
Best vegan place ever!!
Vegan Ice Cream is available here.
Lots of special ice cream flavors are available
Eg: Atlanta sea salt gula Melaka, Earl Grey Lavender &, etc…
Grabpay is one of the payment methods accepted here.
Delicious food, great ambience, friendly service. Always look forward to seeing Zenna, Derrick, Xuan & chef da ge
Great vegan restaurant with many healthy choices. I am a fan of their “Soba so good”. Must try if you ever around Thompson area.
So good for vegan food. Full menu of ice cream, pasta pizza and drinks. The ice cream and nachos are really amazing.
Light, healthy, yummy food! Will revisit..
This place has become one of my favorite vegan restaurants in Singapore!
Great variety of choices from salads, wraps, burgers, bowls, pizzas, desserts and healthy drinks. Price is reasonable and most of all, the foods are just delicious that we always end up with ordering too much
If you are looking for something special, try the Truffle Cheeseburger Pizza. It’s not a burger (of course!) but you’ll be amazed by the nice combination of marinated tempeh, cashew cheese and vegetables.
As for wraps, we’ve tried the Eggxellent Avo Wrap and Temphetion (Sh)room Wrap. Personally I like the Eggxellent better and the tofu does taste like eggs. By the way the seaweed fries come with the wraps are ridiculously delicious that I even asked if I can order extra (unfortunately not). Hope one day can see them in the menu
There are (too) many options for desserts but finally we chose PB & J Brownie Mudpie. Unlike most of the brownies that have thick/creamy texture, the Mudpie here is more like eating strawberry ice cream in a chocolate tart. The texture is so light that you can finish it in seconds
Will definitely come back and try other menu
Manja Ninja salad. Generous on the vegetables and very fresh too. Wished they had given more quinoa. But overall it was good.
All the food mostly colourful and very delicious. Definitely will come back again.
A winner everytime!
Vegan ice cream is a blessing for those who suffers from lactose intolerance. Finding one in a sea of ice cream parlours is a miracle, finding one that offers ice cream that taste like regular ice cream is better than winning the lottery! This cafe’s ice cream is based on brown rice milk, which has a texture and taste similar to regular ice cream. There’s plentiful flavours to choose from. Definitely will be visiting again soon.
Big portion of food, worth the money.
Absolutely delicious …
Visited again after 2 years!
Wow wow wow!!
Exciting menu
I love the waffle, thick and chewy!
Both Earl Grey and White Sesame ice cream was good
The ambience, the menu and the service were all awesome!
Peanut cookie dough ice cream. Delicious
I had visited WellSmoocht 3 times so far. Largely because I genuinely liked the food there. However, whenever I’m there, I feel ignored by the service staff. I understand you don’t have service charge but that doesn’t justify the lack of service. Sadly, I don’t think I will visit again. Plenty of vegan choices out there nowadays.
Yummy bowls, tasty ice cream! Friendly staff. Nice ambience.
13/6 Ordered delivery, Egg xellent Avo wrap comes with potatoes and Seaweed fries tasted good, potatoes not fully cook, Jack & Jill pizza tasted unique, Manja Ninja salad OK, Banana PB slice cake is my favourite, 2nd is Lime coconut slice cake, Mama Muesli Matcha cookie are great too.
Great vegan ice cream – my favorite is the dark chocolate.
Good vegan food, nice cosy environment!
Love love love this! Especially like that their ice cream is vegan. Thumbs up!
The atmosphere was great but the food tasted bland ((( I’m disappointed
Nachos and mashroom wraps were not so good but little expensive
Truffle Mushroom pizza is …
Lovely vegan place! There are both food and desserts here. It can be quite crowded during peak hours. Had the matcha crumble, it was really nice but a little dry, so matching with a scoop of ice cream would compliment perfectly! I will definitely come back again to try out more items. Great service too!
vegan ice cream was delicious bon appetit
vegan ice cream was delicioso bon appetito
Nuggets is nice with sauce. Pizza aso nice too …
Delicious vegan ice creams using brown rice milk instead of coconut or soy. Reasonably priced ($3.50 for single scoops, add $1 for premium flavours. Take away tubs available.) Teas available are from Gryphon. Cafe seating is cramped however with tables close to each other, and may be better at less crowded hours.
Had dinner over at wellsmoocht the other day and the ambience was nice. There weren’t many customers but that doesn’t mean that the food wasn’t great.
Ordered a variety of dishes to share/try and I have say, the pizza was extraordinary, definitely a must try!! It tastes amazing. Waffles with ice cream was great too, they had a wide selection of flavours to choose from too. Will definitely pop by again just to try their other items on their menu
Really great vegan pizzas, but they can’t be kept, so don’t make my mistake!
Milk tea ice cream is nice, cosy Cafe great for chilling
I never thought of I would try vegan food. But I am very impressed after trying this!
Our favourite is the thin crust truffle cheeseburger pizza. I didn’t know what they used to replace cheese but it tastes similar like regular pizza.
We also ordered Soba So Good, Olive Buddha bowl and Mushroom & ‘Egg’ Truffle Croissant. Croissant was not available so it was replaced with focaccia.
The ‘egg’ was made by tofu which we thought it was real egg initially. I like their kombucha a lot too, which we ordered Pink Dragon Fruit and Orange Turmeric each.
Their Fluff Waffle with Ice Cream is Top 50 vegan food in Singapore according to their cert on the wall. So we gave it a try & it is nice with crunchy texture on the exterior and fluffy texture on the interior.
Overall is awesome and I would definitely visit again!
Had their mint ice cream. Couldn’t even tell that the ice cream was vegan.
Bought a birthday cake for my Buddhist vegetarian grandma from WellSmoocht and it was a hit! We got the French rose pistachio cake and everyone (yes, even the dedicated carni-/omnivores) loved the flavour and moist texture. This is the first place with vegan bakes that “don’t taste vegan”. I’ve since purchased WellSmoocht’s gift boxes and they’re always such a treat, full of flavour but not too sweet. 100% recommended!
Would recommend the BBQ chicken pizza and waffle
Great service! Bought the vegan waffles and they smell amazing!
This is a neighbourhood gem, serving an interesting array of delicious vegan ice cream in various flavours, some of which I’ve not seen anywhere else (white sesame and caramel for example!)
The seats are comfy, especially the soft chairs near the window, and the staff are friendly in a gentle, not-overbearing way.
Join the rewards system for easy rewards, it took me only 4 weeks to redeem a full size pizza! You only need to spend $8 for a stamp.
My only complaint (and this is minor) is they play music via Spotify – not the premium version – so every 3 or 4 songs you get 3 mins of annoying advertising. Please tell the management to splash out on Spotify Premium or just play ad-free music from elsewhere!!
Top class. Food talks here.
Happy come all the way to try their vegan r’ice cream. It was soooo good. Quite surprise it didn’t melt as fast as other non vegan ice creams out there.
Love the peanut butter flavor with bits and pieces of peanut butter in it. The dark chocolate one is gao and not sweet. Feel way less guilty having this as a treat.
If only they have more branches in downtown or East Coast area, it would be wonderful
Healthy food choices & great ambience.
vegan ice cream, waffles and pizza. What could be better! :p
Nice place to chill and enjoy good vegan food and desserts after a long week ️ their food is generous in portion, and i love their ice cream on a cone!
Pictured is their hazelnut flavour, which tastes like the kinder bueno creme!
I find no fault at this place that serves affordable and really healthy food and drinks here. The vegan ice cream is so good! I just wish the opening hours are longer, but still, thanks to the service staff for the positive experience!
Friendly staff and delicious good and drinks.
vegan and loving it! their ice cream and waffles are to die for. can’t believe it doesn’t contain butter!
nothing too innovative flavor wise but solid execution.
small nit about service that I was hit by a bit of sticker shock to learn that one of my flavors was “premium” only after ordering, despite explicitly asking about price (that there are some higher-cost options seems prudent to mention)
Great for vegan options especially their waffle is eggless
Great place.
Yummy food!!
But not much about the surroundings.
Nutella flavour was great. Creamy and tasty yet light. However, we left the cafe feeling greasy due to the fries that were frying in the background. Perhaps the owners could do something about this to improve the experience of having ice cream here.
Great for a low calorie and equally good tasting ice cream fix. Try the French chocolate and Earl Grey flavors.
Comfy sofas tranquil surroundings
Serves dairy free pizzas as well if you need dinner & dessert at the same place. Fantastic for lactose intolerant persons
The ice cream tasted great and not overly sweet. Loved the black sesame flavour.
Great Vegan Foods.
Excellent dairy free ice cream with nice aromas and good textures. The coconut flavor comes with coconut bits and is better than the coconut ice cream found in Bangkok
Quiet place (weekday 2pm) in the inner lane of the area. Food is flavourful. Jack and Dill pizza was interesting, kinda in between sweet and savoury.
good
Great food. Realxed café
Awesome desserts place to hang up for Vegetarians
The dark chocolate ice cream tastes like the awfully chocolate one at a fraction of the cost and minus the bloatedness from real dairy! Soooo yum
Yummy vegetarian meals! This coming from a usually non-vegetarian 🫣 Will definitely come again! Loved the ice cream, especially the sea salt gula melaka which just reminds me of chendol ~ lady was friendly and nice who needs dairy when you can have awesome ice cream …
Great food n atmosphere.
Delicious food. Excellent presentation. Friendly and efficient staff.
tastes like real deal
Glad there’s a good vegan option in the neighbourhood back twice in 2 weeks. Their pizzas are amazing!
Dark chocolate ice cream- Nice and rich when it first hits the tongue. Very good chocolatey taste, but texture is slightly grainy, icy, and not too smooth. Unique aftertaste of soya, though some may not be accustomed to it. Might be an acquired taste.
Service- Friendly counter girl.
Ambience- Typical of any new F&B establishment. Clean and bright.
Price- $3.80 for a single scoop. Affordable.
VERDICT: Nice to experiment.
Friendly staff and ice cream servings are very generous. Don’t know how they do it but their vegan ice cream tastes better than regular ice cream. Will definitely be back to try their mains.
Always back for more vegan ice cream and pizzas.
love the friendly ambience here and the vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free friendly menu. their tempeh light bites and homemade ice cream with waffle are among my favourites!
Delicious vegan ice cream!
A new decent cafe that open recently in Thomson area. We didn’t had our meals there but has a coconut kombucha and a chocolate brownie. It was pretty decent. Only downside was the place is small and was crowded so had to leave for others to sit once we are done. Will be back to try their food menu.
Ermm….
Good wholesome desserts
A wonderful find! Vegan paradise. The pizzas are really flavorful, the ice cream is creamy and delicious and the pasta was lovely (and so different!) Honestly, cannot say enough good things. It’s a quiet place with ample seating and friendly service.
What we ordered:
Truffle porcini funghi pizza
Hot vegan chick pizza
Spicy tomato pasta
Chocolate brownie sundae
Scoop of earl grey lavendar
Great vegan food! As I’m lactose intolerant, I really appreciate that this place provides non-dairy options of foods that are typically dairy heavy e.g. cheesecake. Would highly recommend the lasagna and truffle cheeseburger pizza! The ice cream is rich and creamy, made with rice milk. Kombucha is also very tasty, I’ve had the watermelon passionfruit and the hazelnut float. Both are great.
Have been coming to this place since it used to be called Brownice and am glad that they’re still serving really good food.
Plant based haven. Food is awesome. A must for all vegans. All indoor seating and they do takeaway.
Very interesting. The peanut butter is nice and other seasonal ice cream aswell.
Felt warmth welcome as it has a very friendly enviroment.
Recommended.
Consistently one of our favourites. So fresh, great, creative choices (although that brings it’s own challenges!), friendly staff and atmosphere… Brought many non-vegans who also enjoyed it. So so yum – worth the trek.
We chanced upon this place, didnt know it is a vegan restaurant but went ahead anyway. The food was soooo good. We ordered burger, cheeseburger truffle pizza, latte and ice cream. Love the thin crust pizza, so crispy and the truffle was just right, not overwhelming. I could finish the whole pizza by myself because it was so delicious. Would definitely come here again.
Delicious pizzas, we had the truffle porcini funghi, and burrata. Followed our lunch with r’ice cream..earl grey lavender and morning mint. Thank you for the best mint choc chip I’ve had since going vegan! Will be back on our next visit to SG!
Tried their vegan waffles with Rice ice cream. It was heaven. The waffles is fluffy and crispy. And the ice cream is decadent. Love it love it love it!!
Good food, well prepared and presented. Reasonably priced. Many healthy options, plus of course some deserts. Their waffle ice cream is really good! The restaurant is small (less than 10 tables) so may get crowded. Note that they only accept cash, nets, grab and paylah.
lovely place with awesome Vegan Ice Cream and food.
Matcha not bad. Interesting as they give you options to choose between Oat, Soya or Almond milk instead of fresh milk. Ice cream is not creamy but nice, melt in your mouth…
But, their waffle is soft kind. Not to my liking as I prefer those crispy texture instead. Will be back for other foods next time and will
Not go for waffle anymore.
An gd alternative to Western Vege food. Parking would be an issue.
Pretty cosy cafe serving vegetarian delights within the bustling area of Upper Thomson. Decided to try out their menu for a change from the usual prata, mookata or mee pok nearby and it was really refreshing. Had the nuggets, truffle cheese pizza, meatball and mushroom pasta. Tasty ingredients and good blend of flavors overall. Efficient service and friendly staff. Their bowls and deserts are worth the try as well – good variety available. Pricing slightly steep I feel but still affordable overall. Minutes walk from the new Upper Thomson station along the Thomson-East Coast line.
I liked their low fat ice cream. Level of sweetness is just nice for me. There are two issues bothering me at this outlet. 1. The waiting time for the waffles. Their waffles are delicious but sometimes the waiting time can be up to 45 minutes! I think they need to get a few more waffles machine otherwise they are going to either turn customers away or make us upset. 2. The ventilation in the cafe is quite poor. Your entire body will smell of oil after dining in. I would suggest them getting a better hob to absorb the smoke or invest in a proper ventilation system.
Dropped by during a weekday lunch for vegan food the first time. Ordered the laksa, the prawns tasted great but the laksa lack the spice and savoury punch you would expect. My colleagues jackfruit bowl was a more satisfying bowl (according to her).
And payment mode wise, pay wave is not accepted though they have paylah or paynowbor grab pay. Suggest cafe to prepare in advance sufficient small changes if one of the preferred payment mode is in cash to better enhance the overall dining experience.
Interesting vegan dishes with fusion profiles. Affordable pricing with no GST or service charge.
Think the place is known for their desserts. The brownie tasted a tad dry and slightly lumpy however passion fruit mango ice cream was the star of the night.
Awesome vegan food. The ‘egg mayo’ sandwiches taste like the real thing.
Strawberry, mint, matcha and dark chocolate ice cream are a win!
The food is pretty good and tasty for vegan stuff. I’m only giving this two stars because for a whole week the air conditioning isn’t working and management seems to be dragging their feet on this. This is a big deal in hot and humid Singapore. Had to endure the stuffiness while dining which really spoils it all.
Service excellent. Ice cream good for a hot day
Went there for coffee and vegan ice cream and it was very nice, cannot wait to try their vegan pizzas. Very quiet local.
Good vegan pizza and great chocolate ice cream.
Coconut ice cream is delicious!
We have a farewell lunch for a vegetarian colleague here. First time here after this cafe took over from the previous ice cream cafe. It is very small and crowded when we walked in. Food is quite pricey but portion is big so you can share. The Grain bowl is rather bland but the lasagne and the burger is not bad. They are good for their desserts especially their waffle.
Good place for hang out in hot afternoon.
Great ice cream and waffles …
Pure hazelnut ice cream – enough said.
Great vegan pizzas and ice creams. Anybody who’s vegan and misses cheese on a pizza, this place is it. Ice cream is made out of rice milk, and is half the calories of regular dairy ice cream. Awesome place to visit.
Cozy cafe, healthy brown rice ice-cream, yummy drinks. Like d brownie crispy outside & warm. Back for the dessert!! Delicious, i would prefer the traditional brownie to have flour in the middle, which was a creative dish with ice strawberry but too cooling for my stomach. …
Hard to find nice vegan food like this place in SG
Tried the vegetarian pizza which was not bad. Sesame ice cream was good too
Nice place, formerly was Brownice. The Tofu burger is nice! Waffle is eggless and must try!
Very nice healthy food and the ice cream are yummy too!
pretty good…
The ice cream waffles is nice. But its a real long wait of 50min for a waffles due to only one waffle making machine. Should consider doing something about it.
The moment we walked in, we were greeted by the single staff manning the register. It was distant and in the simplest terms, rude.
I asked if soup was available which garned a blank reaction so I made mention of the value deal which is still up online. He says there is no soup.
Alright, so we begin flipping through the menu which was a few tiny pieces of paper printed with black ink, no creativity put into it. There was not even an individul menu so we had to stand at the counter flipping through those pages. Halfway through, he tells us only the large sizes are available for the pizza options. Again, this was not put up online and their opening hours are pretty late so it did not make sense to call ahead to ask. We might not have gotten a proper answer either way. So there was no soup and only large pizza options. We go on to order one of the pizzas along with a cappuccino. We were not asked about the temperature so the lower price option (hot) would have been assumed. We ordered a brownie as well.
He put in some effort into making the cappuccino but it was quite honestly jarring. It could be because of the counter being too close to the seating or sounds being amplified due to the AC. When our order arrives, it was a shock to realise the temperature bordered on cold. It was very slightly warm but could not be considered a ‘cold’ option since no ice was added. This was disppointing.
The pizza was thin, with the crust dehydrated. This was just the right thickness and the toppings were unique. However, there was not enough cheese for something described as “cheesy”. The ham bits were very minimal also. The arugula was generously added on top. Sun-dried tomatoes provided the tanginess which balanced this
The brownie tasted sweet and some crumbly bits elevated the texture. The nuts sprinkled on top were excessive and made it bitter. This slice was kept outside for a few hours and when it was consumed once more, it tasted odd. The oil had turned. A word of caution if you are keeping this out for a few hours, maybe consider storing it in the fridge?
The customer service could greatly be improved upon. Towards the end, we were the only ones left and the staff member just sat behind the counter. I realised he had even forgotten to give the receipt only after I left! This made for an uncomfortable experience, needless to say.
If changes are made to the menu, kindly update on all platforms so people can make informed choices before reaching the resturant
Great for vegans and non vegans
I was pretty excited about this place when I saw their menu. Ended up with the Tempeh Partay (tasty), Suka Suka Jackfruit Bowl (healthy) and a double scoop of ice cream (dark chocolate and peanut butter, delicious!) – all vegan and gluten-free. Service was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. It was noisy with conversation as the small space was full on a Sunday afternoon.
The heartbreaker for me was when I went to pay and found out they only take cash and NETS! I wish this had been noted on the door or menu – typically when dining at expensive brick-and-mortar places, I assume Visa and Mastercard will be accepted, saving me the trip to an ATM for cash withdrawal. Given that they’re actually producing tasty, healthy vegan food with gluten-free options, I’m still giving it four stars, but for me personally, not accepting credit cards is a dealbreaker.
The location is a bit off the beaten path. Still, if you have a NETS card or are not cash-averse, Wellsmoocht is worth checking out!
Small neat dining place. Handcrafted. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love vegan ice-cream and brownice made it real nice. However it was a tad too sweet for my liking and the flavors are a little dated. I hope to taste more interesting flavors in the future. Friendly service at this place.
Nice presentation of food. And tastes good too
Great pizza and waffles!
Delicious vegan ice creams.
Hidden ice cream shop wonder
Nice place to eat!
great ice cream! go for the coconut if it is available.
Excellent vegan cuisine selections. I feel that they’ve elevated the flavor of tempeh, beyond the regular flavor of tempeh in Indonesian dish.
Food here is wholesome and made with love. Ice cream and waffles not to be missed!
Great ice cream, good quantity
Amazing vegan food! Loved the mudpie
Very delicious vegan food! We got the “egg”xellent avo wrap, pow wow burger, hazelnut r’ice cream shake and the fluffy waffles. The wrap was huge and well worth the money. I felt really full just after eating one half of it. It tasted really hearty and healthy. The pow wow burger had a tangy sweet taste to it, which I found quite unique. It went really well with their toasted brioche buns.
The r’ice cream shake was quite of a surprise. It did look rather diluted when it first arrived at our table, but wow the taste was so wholesome and it was definitely better than most of the ice-cream shakes we’ve drunk before.
The star for me would have to be the waffles though. This is definitely one of the best waffles I’ve ever eaten. It was so crispy and fluffy at the same time, and the ice-cream flavours (took earl grey lavender and matcha), despite being vegan and of non-dairy origin, tasted so robust that it didn’t occur to me that these weren’t made of dairy milk at all.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the food that we’ve had here, and will definitely be back to try the rest of the food they have here.
Great ice cream, pizza and shakes. Decently priced.
Best turmeric latte in Singapore
Amazing dessert. The waffle was wonderful
An absolute delight! I spent my monthsary here and I love the atmosphere. Creamy ‘chicken’ spaghetti is a must try!
Oh and the ice cream is super GOOD
I’ve been going to WellSmoocht for many years, since before they merged businesses and renamed themselves. Unfortunately, the most recent time I went I was disappointed by the food.
The shakshuka used to be my favorite dish, but it tastes very different now. Not sure why they’d change the recipe to shakshuka 2.0 when the first version was amazing. The flavor is less rich and too acidic. It went from being my favorite dish to my least favorite dish there.
The jackfruit bao didn’t have the same sauce as it used to have. Again, I used to love it. Now it’s pleasant but I wouldn’t order it again.
Lasagna was a new try for me. Great tomato sauce but the eggplant was way too undercooked and some layers of the pasta were undercooked/dry.
Nachos tasted great but I think they used to be more generous with the toppings.
Ice cream and waffles are as fantastic as they’ve always been.
The new location is very nice however. I love what they’ve done with the space.
I know it’s tough starting a new business but when possible I’d love the food to return to the quality it used to have
Food and dessert never fail to impress in the many visits. Yummy-licious! Happy diner.
Small cute boutique, feels like home run and food is amazing.
I found it very interesting that they were able to make ice cream without using milk, but rather by using the cream of brown rice. The ice cream tasted just like any other ice cream, except there is a tinge of brown rice taste, but that does not affect the flavour at all. Prices are affordable too, at $3.50 per scoop. I tried the coconut ice cream and I loved it.
The ambience ain’t the best but food quality wise for vegan is superb.
An awesome restaurant to have a non-meat dishes, 2nd time eating at this restaurant, fell in love during the first time because of the freshness, the taste of the dishes and went back again to try other dishes. Must visit for all who loves healthy food.
Very nice food, it’s expensive but it something u don’t get normally outside.
brought my family there for vegan ice cream as my mother is vegetarian. everyone absolutely loved the variety of flavours as well as the flavours they chose. delivery is available as well.
was quite empty when we went on a weekend afternoon, so definitely a recommended place for groups. they also have pizza available but we had lunch before heading to Brownice.
Interesting vegan dishes with fusion profiles. Affordable pricing with no GST or service charge.
Think the place is known for their desserts. The brownie tasted a tad dry and slightly lumpy however passion fruit mango ice cream was the star of the night.
As a person who is unapologetically a meat-a-tarian I am not generally one who can say he enjoys vegan anything. Although my short visit was mainly as a trial experience to find something for my wife, we did try their Rice Cream ice creams. I was pleasantly surprised, expecting a peculiar after taste or some weird texture, the ice cream was wonderfully creamy rich and very tasty. I always feel that those who subject themselves to vegan options are doing so to appease some moral concern or who have had to for health reasons as my past experiences have been less than favorable. If the ice cream is anything to go by, the rest of the menu shows great promise and I may even be brave enough to try one of their savory options. Thanks for showing me that there may be hope for vegans yet
lovely vegan ice cream and waffles in a abundance of flavours.
love the vegan ice-cream, pizza and waffle !
v good icecream
Good food
My son is allergic to egg and he is so happy that he can eat the ice cream and waffle without fear! Ice cream taste great. My son had mango strawberry and I had dark chocolate. Both light and yummy.
Not a vegan but the truffle pizza was so flavourful even without the use of cheese. Lasagna was sold out but apparently it is a must try. Can’t believe I would say this but I will actually come back to try other things on the menu.
Vegan ice cream made from rice. A rare find
A fantastic re-opening!
Very decently priced ice cream with some really good flavours. Do wish they improve on their ventilation as you not leave with a satisfied stomach but also the smell on your clothes.
We went there today for the first time. One of the best cafes in Singapore with the best value for money vegan food and desserts. I am vegan & I am lactose intolerant so I am happy I found a place to enjoy my desserts without dairy. If you aren’t vegan, even then do try this place you will hardly miss anything, since the taste is soo good! Shall definitely be visiting again! Staff is also very polite & nice!
Lots of vegan choices. Pizza pasta burgers bowls and ice cream
Really good vegan pizza and ice cream, in a cozy cafe setting. I’ll be back for more!
Absolutely Amazing! I came in for ice cream and ended up buying pizza and ice cream! The pizza i had was the bbq one! Vegan chicken , pineapples , olives, bbq sauce, tomatoes ,and tabasco. The ice cream flavor was peanut butter chocolate chip! So delicious! Vegans are winning! Very nice and clean place with wifi!
Everything in the menu looks enticing – I really wanted to try their mains but was too full, so I had their outstanding vegan waffles topped with brownice ice cream which I had years ago when they were in katong. Was gonna order their pints on everyday vegan grocer but seems to be perpetually out of stock.
Awesome food and service at an affordable price. Recommended.
The food was all so colourful, fresh and tasty! The only gripe is the ambience, there’s too much colours everywhere and furniture looks mismatched and almost untidy.
We had the manja ninja salad ($12.50), the truffle cheezeburger pizza ($18.90) and the brown rice ice cream with waffle cone.
Loved the salad for the burst of colours, light and refreshing taste, but most importantly that there’s avocado hidden in that big bowl. We enjoyed the addition of tempeh in the pizza and how the cheese sauce really complimented the dish. As for the ice cream, our first thought was “wow the rice taste is so distinct!!”. Other than that, as most of the flavours we had were fruity it was a great end for the meal.

I’m so glad they’re still in business ( ◜‿◝ ) most of the ice cream flavours are really good and a blessing for the lactose intolerant ~ I love the matcha and the strawberry. Not sure I would recommend the vietnamese coffee one. It’s also a very nice spot to sit and chill at for a while. They also sell hot food which I’ll go back to try!
We have been fans of WellSmoocht since those Brownice days at Katong. Their lagsana is a key favourite but today we also tried their brunch set, which was well balanced with a wide variety of mushrooms, avocado, marinated tofu, cherry tomatoes, sausages and toasted bread. There has also been many recent closures of late in the sg vegetarian scene. So please go and support!
The food is good and the ice cream is better. Casual place to go with few friends or family.
Wonderful food and an interesting experience for the palate!
Usually am a meat person but this vegan cafe served great vegan food that taste as good if not better pizzas and soba!
The soba so good was served with EXTREMELY FRESH vegetables, combined with the home made sauce, it was a wonderful dish. The pizza was on par too with delicious sauce and crispy!
Loved this place! We had a lazy brunch here on a Saturday afternoon and the food here hit the spot. The R’ice milkshakes are really good and I definitely recommend trying them. We tried quite a few dishes and this place has different dishes than Smoocht Pantry in Jurong.
Great variety of pizza and ice cream! Pizza taste good and the hazelnut ice cream is the best! Serving time is also quick although there is only one worker here. Need to work on the air circulation system as the smoke cant circulate well enough.
Awesome ice cream for folks with lactose and gluten issues. Loco coco and strawberry fields are my favourite flavours.
Cosy and great pizza. It’s an ice cream parlour
Loved the cookie dough ice cream and black sesame flavours
Serve great foods. Prices were reasonable.
Good ( exclusively vegan) food great ambience.
not my kind of ice cream and quite expensive for ice cream. ventilation is not very good as well. hope something can be done. staff are friendly and helpful thou.
Has a unique flavour and great quality
Great food for vegans, lactose intolerant diets.
Good rice cream
Fantastic. …
Great place for vegetarian pizza, lasagna, salad, lots surprises and food is yummy. Dessert are superb.
Pizza was ok but overpriced for that small size. Crust didn’t have the enjoyable chewiness usual thin pizzas do.
Nice vegan pizza place. Was also able to try their lasagna and it’s as good the real thing
Lovely place. 100% Plant Based. The staff was really cordial and service was fast. We had the Croissant egg truffle and waffles with Gula Melaka, both were delicious. They also have some really cool kombucha sprits! Worth a visit!
Vegan is a good place to go, I recommend it!
Vegan好去處,推薦唷!
Simply amazing vegan ice cream and waffles. Tastes just like regular ice cream and waffles but better and cruelty free! i love their pure hazelnut ice cream!! Will definitely come back again to try other flavours and their selection of cakes. Place is chill and prices are reasonable! But it might be hard to find the place if you are unfamiliar with the area.
a nice little place! generous portions and friendly staff
Had the nachos, BPMH burger, suka suka jack bowl, basque burnt cheesecake and waffle! everything was super yummy and so full afterwards!
Vegan ice cream. $9 for 3 scoops, $1 more for premium flavours, $1 more for toppings. Scoops are larger than usual.
I tried Thai Tea, Black Sesame and Strawberry flavours. The texture was not quite creamy as regular ice cream – perhaps more fat is needed. I felt the sweetness did not merge with the other tastes. Only the Strawberry flavour was alright, the other two tasted flat and thin.
The candied almond topping tasted rancid. Actually, I couldn’t tell if the rancid smell/taste came from the almonds or the cafe. The ventilation in this place badly needs to be rectified They had clearly been doing a lot of oily cooking in that enclosed air-conditioned space without adequate air filtration. An unwelcoming smell was the first thing I noticed when I stepped in.
Unless they stopped cooking in there, I doubt I would return.
This place has amazing waffles and ice cream. Have yet to try other options like their pizza but I’m sure it will be good. Waffles can be less than great sometimes but still good. Also a very healthy place to come to.
One of my fav go to vegan cafes. Fave dishes r the lasagna (but it always sells out), truffle pizza, hazelnut ice cream. Shakshuka not bad also. My hubby likes the buddha bowl as well. Price point for the food quality is good.
As a lacto vegetarian cum vegan my opinion about this place is: As a lacto vegetarian cum vegan my opinion about this place is: i have been to both the branches of Brownice in singapore. they’re amazing as always. i travel for about 25km to just eat there. i wish there’s one in west of Singapore. finest, cruel free, happy food in a great ambience. heavy rush durin 7-9 pm especially in the weekends. i’ve tried waffles, ice cream, fries, pizzas, ice cream, cake and what not! i’m drooling already!!
Love it !!!!! It’s the best vegan place ever!!!!
i love their ice cream because its vegan. im quite lactose intolerant and i wish more shops in singapore offered dairy free ice cream. their ice cream doesn’t taste any diff from regular milk-based ice cream. my favorite flavor is the hazelnut. other flavors are great too. (you pay a premium for premium ice cream flavors) but average cost of icecream,. not too expensive. their coffees are also with soy instead of dairy. a big big plus point.
Good quality food.
good variety of ice cream, not that a great place to hangout
Came here during 2 pax dine in restrictions. The vegan food was amazing! The cakes are a bit on the sweet side. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of the rice milkshakes that we ordered , and you should definitely try them! The place is a bit of a walk fro Marymount MRT, but I needed the extra walk to burn of the calories that I ate from this meal. Highly recommend this place!
Plant based menu
Very colorful with good-size portions and food’s amazingly yummy.
Amazing vegan ice-cream! The other items on the menu are worth trying as well.
Ice cream is good and affordable
First vegan ice cream parlour in SG with organic brown rice milk — thus the name. Signature flavors include the peanut butter caramel and hazelnut chocolate.
Pizza was so-so. Ice cream was great!
Great selection of both savory and dessert options.
I really enjoyed their spaghetti Bolognese, the meatballs in particular tasted accurate. The milkshake I had was pretty good too.
Definitely want to visit and try more from them, like their waffle ice-cream
Great taste and healthy dishes …
Amazing ice cream and pizza
Amazing Vegan Food and great ambience. There is the jack and dill pizza that is completely vegan and enriched with proteins. It even tasted like real cheese pizza! The chilli sauce that accompanied it with was very flavourful and was delicious. The nachos was an exact replica of the ones with meat. Yummy and delicious guacamole and vegan cheese sprinkled on top. The wellness drink was enriching and enhancing.
The waffle was extremely crisp and delicious with no ‘eggy’ kind of smell. The ice cream was smooth and creamy enriched with zest. The ice cream is made with rice cake milk, which is extremely nutritious. Also please check for discounts such as 1 for 1 pizza.
However, the service was not that efficient. The lady who took our order was really rude and told us to hurry up. She looked annoyed and did not explain many food items properly when we asked her. Please improve and look into this.
Overall, it is a pretty good place and I recommend it.
Excellent, will go back for sure.
Lactose/ gluten free F&B is rare to come by, this is a good one that has been around & now there have extended their menu
Omg the waffles and ice cream here are to die for, literally! I’d keep coming back here just for that!
Came back here again! My first visit was with a friend from Wales who introduced me to vegan ice cream (i didn’t even know of a vegan ice cream shop in SG as a local) and I’m amazed at how they manage to create ice cream using brown rice milk and evaporated sugar cane juice. Below is their classic waffle with sesame ice cream!
Awesome place for pizza and ice cream!
Delicious vegan ice cream! No milk, so good for the lactose intolerant.
Pleasant experience. Massively underrated. Pizza and ice cream was brilliant, managed to finish it with ease.
Amazing unusual vegan food, the place gives me Bali vibes. Prices are pretty high, but the taste of every dish is extraordinary.
We went there are looking at all the fantastic reviews. Place is small and cosy. Good selection of food though we felt it was quite bland and pricey for what it was. The lady at the counter is not rude but man she looked like she did not want to be there…..
The best vegan ice cream we ever had, inside or outside Singapore. The location (out of nowhere) is the only drawback but it’s worth visiting. I tried hazelnut, black sesame, chocolate, and matcha, and loved them all
Good food, well prepared and presented. Reasonably priced. Many healthy options, plus of course some deserts. Their waffle ice cream is really good! The restaurant is small (less than 10 tables) so may get crowded. Note that they only accept cash, nets, grab and paylah.
Tried the Smokey Mince & Veggie pizza, Olive Buddha Bowl, Chocolate Hazelnut ice cream, banana cake, Rose pistachio cake, and apple crumble. All tasted healthy yet delicious and satisfying.
Definitely recommend the Smokey Mince & Veggie Pizza – must try!
Tried the tofu burger and monkey head mushroom burger. Both were very mediocre. The sides were cold and hard (broccoli was very hard). The tofu burger didn’t have much taste, except for the cold mushrooms and slice of mock bacon inside it. The sauce in the burger was ketchup……… Either way, it was a strange combination of ingredients for both the burgers we’ve tried. Seem to just be a random lump of ingredients that didn’t blend well. Not at all worth it for the $14 we paid. Would be willing to pay around $7-10 for it.
Their cakes tasted very mediocre as well. Texture and taste seems to fall very short of other eggless cakes I’ve had from other eggless cake shops in Singapore.
As a vegetarian, unfortunately very disappointed with the quality.
Nice small place for vegan lovers, the food is really nice. Highly Recommend!!
Great vegan spot
