    Great service provided by Thomas from Volvo Service Center. I am thankful to meet Thomas as he is passion at helping his client and know his product well.

    I had 2 encounters with my car not too long ago.. I was stranded as I can’t start my car engine. Called the hotline, no one pick up… finally Thomas came to help.. he assist you arrange the tow truck and advice that I drive down to the service center so that he can get the technician to check on the battery.. I am thankful and took his advice.. got my battery changed. Happy!
    The second encounter happened shortly after when I noticed that the car hood miss alignment and is not closing properly. Thomas was able to identify the issue quickly when I sent in my vehicle. Another awesome experience!

    Just got my XC60 a week ago. This is my 2nd XC60, the 1st was 8 years ago. Personally I feel that the performance, interior finishes and gadgets have been improved. Best of all, I got to meet a great sales person, Mr Alwis, who is more like an advisor rather than a sales to me. He understands our needs, then he guides us through our preferred model with details of what we are getting from this new model. Also got to thanks him for arranging the test drives for my girl and me. He also stays responsive to guide me through my questions after a few days of driving experiences. I would gladly recommend him if anyone wants to get a Volvo.

    25 years ago I was a service manager with Volvo, few days ago when I sent in a Volvo car to rectify Air-Con gas leaking. After collecting the car and paid $2k +++ the next day the car completely not cold and no more Freon Gas. I hope the management should look into the service quality and should not let this happened again. Thanks

And with regular car servicing through the years but always have bad experience during car servicing until I met Mr Han Chun Hong and under his care for the past two years. Recalled Mr Han take initiative recover and settled during my car battery breakdown during half a year ago. And this time round during my normal car servicing , his professional advise and understand car owner feeling make me more comfortable.

    Just got the XC40 full electric. Wonderful car with excellent user interface and Google integration. Equally wonderful was the service provided by Volvo and Alwis Yeo, who made the entire sales process fast and totally hassle-free. Alwis was super responsive to all my queries and managed to arrange for an earlier than expected delivery slot despite a last minute change that could have resulted in delays.

    Service is top notch but prices of service and spares are very high. Replacing brake pads and discs cost over a thousand dollars. Would have cost a fraction of this if changed at third party workshop but then it will void the warranty and free maintenance. Either way, customer is hung. Previous car covered everything but seems like they keep changing their policies. Need to read the fine print before you sign.

    Always received great service from SC Joseph whenever I send my car in for servicing or repairs. He’s always prompt with replies when I have queries or request a booking through him. When there are problems found with the car, Joseph is detailed in explaining the parts which are in need of replacing and provided photos of the worn/damaged parts.     There are lots of car choices. And there are personal preferences. I was evaluating a few. I went to Volvo, to explore, inquire and test drive the XC40. While the car met all my needs, the service excelled all my expectations. I was greeted by Fabian, the sales personnel. Who was friendly, insightful, and knowledgeable. And helpful. Not pushy and wanted to know more about what my needs were. And his follow up was spot on.

    Additional to the great service levels, the showroom was well laid out and spacious enough to enjoy the experience of viewing the cars without feeling too confined.

    There was a female representative who was smiling and friendly, the rest of the sales people just gave a few glances and then left it to that representative to interact with customers. When I stood beside the counter to check out prices on a board, the staff just stood there quietly with a cold expression.     Update: 11June21 Good customer recovery service provided by Volvo sales team special mention for Michael Loh’s level of service assuring us to provide a 2nd opportunity to try Volvo again. In the end, purchased an Xc40 to renew the relationship. Missing a star to full 5 stars is due to a looking for a renewed relationship with the servicing team as well.

    Previous post: Feb 21 very disappointed after leaving a 4 star review previously 6 months ago. Perhaps i had a new staff Han for servicing, perhaps its the technical team behind which is also new? My 4 yr old S90, always regularly & recently serviced by volvo on 3rd Feb 21 had suddenly on 17th Feb 21 been unable to start engine frequently and even might suddenly stall totally while waiting at a traffic junction. Finding it amiss i took videos and went to place car at volvo one full day on 22nd Feb. Shocked & dumbfounded when volvo could say ‘nothing wrong can be found’ and therefore i was told to collect my car back.
    23rd Feb today morning, my car was stalled again multiple times along various traffic junctions when i need to travel from jurong to Ubi where i engaged a 2nd opinion on my s90.
    Fast forward, something is wrong BUT sad to say its not found out by professionals at Volvo. Very sad & disappointed for me being a once proud about Volvo customer.

    6 months ago posting: On going 4th year being a volvo client. Regular servicing may not be the lowest but at least im assured things are done right; im happy with the overall experience. Hope the price tag could be lowered to make it a an even better reason for coming back. Also, during late phase 2 of circuit breaker is very much different for all the ‘ welcoming touches’.

    Bought my first Volvo here! The place is spacious and when I bring my Volvo for servicing or repairs there is a nice area to sit and wait. Due to COVID restrictions, free food and beverage is no longer available but hopefully it may return. I always relax and watch the tv with the CNA news channel. The staff are polite and gracious. Once I wanted to purchase a toy from the sales counter but it was the sales lady was about to leave for her next appointment, she stayed back to process my order because it was the last day I could redeem my voucher. I’m very grateful to her.

    I have driven my two Volvo for past 12 years. I have been sticking my service routines with Volvo Service Centre, especially delightful to be served by Doy Chan and his team.

    Each time I visited, I received professional and friendly services. The handing over protocols are very assuring. The cozy waiting areas are conducive for me to carry out some work while waiting. The recommended repairs were assessed / recommended based on safety and necessity. The subsequent service works were always explained clearly and the downtime were within the committed time frame.

    Last visit was just last week. Same superb experience and always happy to have Doy to meet personally to catch up on my Volvo driving experience. As always, Doy and team shared some good tips with me on how to upkeep my Volvo.

    My car’s coolant pipe sprang a big leak, so i had it towed by Wearnes Volvo to their workshop. Old model pipe so none in stock locally, and replacement from Sweden took 2 weeks to arrive. Very painful wait since Xmas is a busy time. Thomas, my Volvo service consultant, was very helpful and responsive with update requests and advice during this period. Thanks!

    My S60 door locking mechanism had some issues , so I had to tow it in on a weekend. Thomas rang me right away on Monday itself , was courteous and listened up to me and explained to me on how he is able to get it rectified ASAP. Within 4 hours , all my 4 doors locking mechanism was changed. A very diligent and people oriented person , Thomas is. Keep up the good work & I appreciate it very much Thomas & Team Volvo.

    He’s the guy you want to talk to about the Volvo products and will give you a sense of security for product information and the financial breakdown.
    He took the time to explain to me the breakdown of trading in my car now or when the COE expire later. Also run through the running costs like insurance, road tax, servicing and when warranty ends; what to expect! For a family man, this is important to me as every dollar counts.
    Next we went for the test drive and I am so impressed at the price point with all the goodies on XC40 Recharge, we tested the following on the road safely. Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Aid as well as Blindspot Information Systems. Right before we head back he demo the High Performance Sound System and Apple Carplay. O.M.G!!! It’s really a bargain! You must go for a test drive!!!

    I’m definitely going to re-priotize my finances and working towards owning the XC40 Recharge, hopefully soon!!! In shaa Allah

    A few days ago my XC90 R-design oil level was Low at 1/3 level.And My first thought ( always ) is to call my expert / advisor Mr. Joseph Tan from Alexandra service center for help and without any delay he advised me to bring my car there for him to do a full check.
    True enough he and his team within a short span of time found the problem and rectified the leaks immediately. This impressed me very much and since 5 years ago when I first acquired this car I’ve been putting my trust on him bcos he is such a accommodating person with such an efficient attitude toward we customers.     Excellent service! I had a small battery problem with my Volvo and contacted my service consultant Mr Han Chun Hong. The service received was beyond expectations and I would like to thank Volvo in general and Mr Han in particular. I communicated via WhatsApp and there was an instant response (even after working hours) and he made arrangements to fix the problem immediately. When I dropped off the car, the service staff was very friendly and accommodating. During the repairs, Mr Han updated me regularly and informed me when the car was ready for collection.     I am currently on my third Volvo. The first was the S60 followed by two XC60s. Whenever people ask why I am such a fan of Volvo, my answer is “The service is simply unbeatable!!’”. My family drives other German luxury brands and the service level (I send in the cars too) is nowhere near Volvo’s.

    I have enjoyed my experiences with all my service consultants, but Doy remains my most trusted go-to person. He gives great advice – tells you what’s necessary, what’s optional, checks out all your concerns and also invests the time to get to know you as a customer. The service charges are always very reasonable. Just drop the car in, speak to him, Volvo will even provide a complimentary taxi ride where you need to go. It’s absolutely fuss-free. The coffee at the self-serve cafe is great too.

    Everytime I collect my car from the service center (just did today), am always reminded “why Volvo?” – definitely the superb service!! Huge thank you to Doy and the team!

    Not a large showroom but place is quite well presented suit to Volvo “middle class” status. Customer can feel free to roam around to look at the cars without someone stalking you around. Salespeople are more professional than some sales folks in some dealers who know nothing about what they’re selling.

    Your service staff are extremely helpful and polite. Super task focused and attention to details. Booked my service apt online indicating repair work needed. Ms Catherine called 2 days before service apt to find out what issue I had with my car. Told her car warning indicating symbols lighted a few times. Directed me to send my car in for testing. She was extremely friendly and helpful.
    Thomas Tan called me when I send in my car on apt date. Spoke to him about the car warning symbols coming on a couple of times. Informed me they will do a diagnostic test to identify the problem. Thomas kept me informed of every detail throughout the 2 days. Constant updates of faults and parts replacement was provided to me throughout the 2 days. Thomas was very helpful, provided valuable advice and very professional throughout the whole experience. Will be back for the next service surely.

    Edit (22 Jan 2023): After seeing so many 5-star reviews including mine, I’d like to chip in too. Fast forward to 2023, 5 years on, my S60 still works wonderfully well, very reliable machine that also has saved my family from many collisions (intellisafe) and it’s growing on me everyday. My Sales Consultant Ann Teo (92955567) has been keeping in touch, sending me greetings and deals which I’m appreciative of. During this period, service consultants such as Ryan and many others (some who unfortunately left like Kenneth, Lin Sern, Desmond etc) have also provided very good aftersale service. They were always professional and personable, especially Ryan. I’m almost approaching the 7-year itch, so hope Ann will offer me great deals again so I’ll never have to leave Volvo!

    Had a great experience with Alwis Yeo at Volvo getting our first car in Sg.

    Service received was top notch. I did not feel pressured at all to make a decision (other than the rising COE prices) with no ‘hard sell’ on options or more expensive models.

    I appreciated the frank exchange we had with Alwis such that if we were looking for a flashy, aggressive driving vehicle, we probably would not be in the market for a Volvo. But if we were into comfort, sophistication and safety, this was it. I couldn’t agree more.

    The test drive featured a good explanation of the key features of the vehicle.

    There were consistent updates on the status of the vehicle and processing of paperwork. I had actually purchased a highly spec-ed management model which required a little bit of cosmetic work. This was done perfectly and it looked like I received a brand new car even though it had some miles on the clock.

    There is value in the parallel import market but I defo feel that you get what you pay for from the dealership. Although price is not so flexible, I do think they Now I only hope the after sales is as good as the purchase experience!

    I have just got my Volvo today and I am now the new proud owner of the brand new Volvo XC40B4 Plus .

    Thanks to my Sales Consultant Mr Alwis Yeo (HP 94508810).

    Alwis is fast, efficient and accurate. He is a knowledgeable Volvo Sales Consultant.

    He has carried the Volvo brand well.

    He has displayed tremendous confident with the product that he is selling, especially during the test drive, where he indeed impressed me with the safety features on the car, like the Adaptive Cruise Control with Pilot Assist, the Blind Spot System, the Google Assistant and more. Honestly, I was really impressed with his presantation and the car itself!

    In fact, Alwis has been an influential factor in my purchase and I am convinced me that I have indeed made the right decision.

    I have been to other showrooms including Audi, BMW, Merc and the Volvo experience through Alwis ranks the highest in my list.

    With his engaging passion and assuring composure, it definitely puts him in a class above the rest.

    Alwis deserves full compliments for his positive attitude in his work.

    He is patience and he give his unbias honest advice about the XC40 aginst its competitors.

    I recently bought an XC60 T8 Recharge from Alwis Yeo (tel: 94508810). This is a review of my experience with Alwis and I will be objective about this (more about it later). I was initially two-minded between this car and another.
    I have ridden in a Volvo before but never quite like the suspension especially in the back. Besides, Wearnes reputation for after sales has never been very good. The other brand is a car I know well, having previously owned a car from the same brand. However, Alwis persuaded me to give this Volvo a second chance and I was blown away by how much it has improved. It helped that Alwis was very patient with my many questions, some of it were rather unfair for him to answer but he nonetheless, gamefully tried to find answers to all my questions. His follow up was very good and even on his off day he would journey his way back to the showroom if you are there. As a salesman, you would expect him to be a little pushy but he was always respectful.

    Where things could have been better are the level of communication between the front office and the workshop. At times, the two departments appear rather disjointed.

    If you are considering a Volvo, give Alwis a call. You will be well served. No BS, just good old fashioned honest sales.
