Fabulous place in the west suburb of Boon Lay next to Jurong Point. Perfect location for excellent local food served in nice restaurant setting. Value for money. Open till late on Fridays and Saturdays with live duo singing to largely beer loving crowd.. Must go.

The only bar with live band in Jurong Point. Always full on Friday and Saturday. Ordered finger food and one tower of beer. Fried chicken wings and Satay, not the best but acceptable. Very hot sitting outside. Inside was better (with air cond) but too noisy because close to the stage.

Want a great place to groove to while enjoying your dinner?

Located a stone throw away from boon lay mrt, visit @twowheelsgoodcafe; a bicycle themed cafe and get serenaded by the live band.

Feast on some local delights such as Bak Chor Mee, satay, sting ray, XO fried rice and many more!

    Featuring the delicacies tried out;

    1️⃣ Satay ($5.50 for 6 sticks)
fried to a beautiful golden brown color, these satays are chewy and succulent and a must try if you are dropping by!
accompanied by the iconic peanut sauce, with pineapple paste at the centre to balance out the flavours

    2️⃣ Sting Ray
with a distinct smokiness and sambal flavour, this sambal sting ray is tender and flavourful
one of the signature dish you must not miss out, but we do personally prefer it to be spicier

    3️⃣ Ipoh hor fun
rich and thick, savoury brown sauce and topped with an array of ingredients such as seafood and vegetables
the gravy was flavourful and rich! You simply can’t stop at just one bite!

Overall we enjoyed the ambience and the convenience of this cafe, and would certainly come back again!

Do note that their live band is only on every Friday – Sunday!

So head over there to relax and with your loved ones today!

Two Wheels Good is a nice place to grab beer and some local snacks during the evening or night. It’s set in between the busy Boon Lay MRT and Jurong Point, but has it’s own vibe and space. They only serve beer which is reasonably priced, and have quite a few non-alcoholic beverages.

Went there to try the food before arranging a gathering. Good for group of friends but not suitable for girls talk, environment is hot and noisy. Wanton soup is ordinary, fried carrot cake got “wok hey”, the dry laksa is in between dry and wet, can still see gravy. Food collection is not in sequence, don’t think is cook by locals. Overall not bad tasting.

Wide variety of local food, just didn’t quite like the Mee Siam & fried carrot cake .. sorry to say the kopi-o is really bad imo.. Serving is generous, some dishes are slightly pricer than food court.. in exchange for the ambience. esp. if you like live band and open spaces.

This is a very unique cafe outlet that is located at a prime spot – the wide open space just by the side of Jurong Point entrance and Boon Lay Mrt Station.

By day it’s just an ordinary cafe serving all the delicious tasty local foods (like mee siam, nasi lemak, roti prata, mee pork, etc, etc) at reasonable prices. But by night it becomes a drinking outlet serving especially beers of various brands to people from all walks of life and nationality. It’s a water hole and the crowd likes it!

Most customers turn up on Friday n Saturday night because there is live music and songs to go with your drinks. The crowd just loves the beautiful singing n guitar strumming. It’s simply wonderful and full of life/joy. With a little bit of promotion and awareness this cafe should be able to draw in the crowd.

Hainaese pork cutlet mixed rice include a side up egg, vegetables, fries and a big portion of pork cutlet. Easily can find something better elsewhere. Guess this place is more of a chill out drinking or kopi place. A small advantage is price at $6.80, the portion is consider a lot. Well a late dinner, just grab and eat and go. No return for food but maybe return for beers. 1.5 out of 5.

A small shop located between Jurong Point and Boon Lay MRT with outdoor and indoor seating. Nice place for breakfast. Sells prata, satay, carrot cakes, bread toast, noodles, ngoh hiang etc. Service is slow and crew is forgetful. Typical foodcourt price. Toast bread set is only $3.90. Tried peanut butter toast, can hardly taste the peanut butter. Tea taste a little diluted.

Throwback to my super yummy lunch from @twowheelsgoodcafe!

Located just outside of Jurong Point near BoonLay MRT, this bicycle-themed cafe serves local delicacies like Satay, Sting Ray, Fried Rice, Bak Chor Mee, and many more!

    Here’s my tasting list .
    Signature Seafood Laksa
One of their specialties that should not be missed! The portion is very generous, with rich and thick Laksa soup, super good and tasty!

    Singapore Fried Kway Teow
My favorite dish of the day! Has an authentic taste with savory brown sauce. Definitely must try!

    Seafood Combo Platters
Perfectly deep fried calamari, prawns, fish, onion rings, with French fries. Everything very crunchy and tender! Simply can’t stop at just one bite, totally addictive!

The best thing is their price is very affordable starting from $5!! What a great place to relax after work! Highly recommended and definitely will come back again

Ps: they have a live band on every Friday – Sunday!
