I found a health good which attracted me to buy but there was no sample displayed. I really wanted to touch real product before buying. There is a sign saying if you open package, consider you buy. I approached one of staff (he was Japanese) and he understood there was no sample displayed, opened the product and showed me! Great service.

You’ll find all sorts of weird and interesting things here from trinkets to stationary, wallets to beauty products that only the Japanese could think of a use for. Some stuff is outrageously priced but this place is worth a visit for the intrigue value alone.

Bad pricing for cheap items. Eventually, this place will close, more sooner than later. I believe the rental may be a huge factor. But, if the landlord wants this retailer to stay, they better lower the rental immediately. This is not the season to kill good retailers like TOKYU HANDS. Good luck

Tokyu Hands, famous for its Japanese stationery, is located on the 2nd basement floor of a department store. It was a pity that there was no type of alcohol, but it was a good opportunity to look around stationery and kitchen utensils. However, compared to Japan, the price is higher and the types are limited.

Products from Japan, of all kinds, but basically gadgets.

Be careful not to get excited because the prices are not those of the Daiso and many times they are things that, beyond the strange / rare, are not very useful or sometimes waste quality.

Consider yourself a “gift item” store.

No adhesive taped on Price tag

The buzz: Japanese lifestyle mecca Tokyu Hands is making its presence known in Singapore with a new full-scale department store on Orchard Road.

The vibe: Bright lighting, white walls, and so many twee, colorful products it’s hard to know where to start. Also, it’s busy. Granted, we visited at lunchtime, but the store was filled with people shopping and exclamations of “oh that’s so cute” echo down the aisles.

My friend paid for her 2020 organizer and some other stuff at your shop. On her way out your Canmake products caught her eyes, and she had lost her phone while being engrossed with one of the eye shadow products. She left her email address behind. The very next day she was informed that a customer had returned her phone to the shop. She was astonished, as she was not expecting anyone to give it back to her. She said this was the best Christmas gift anyone could ever give her. She would like to take this opportunity to thank the kind man who returned the phone to Tokyu Hands. And also to Rosaline lot is it Rosalind) and her colleagues of Tokyu Hands for being so helpful. Merry Christmas to all of you amazing staff! I would gladly share her photos of Tokyu Hand (she was raving about how cute your toys are blah blah but wished for DIY doll houses) but somehow I could only share her description here. The design of the place is very refreshing and a very new concept. The merchandise they bring in are also very high quality and the price tags are as expected, pricy. But if you are looking for a place to explore and unearth hidden gems, I’m sure this is the place for you to go

I didn’t intend to buy anything from Tokyu Hands initially. Browsing was the word when I entered Tokyu Hands. The safety distancing measures were in place and staff were busy restocking products on shelves. All were pretty attentive when customers approach them for assistance. I bought a Gundam set for my nephew, and was pleasantly surprised when one of their senior retail staff walked me through the Dos and don’ts while assembling Gundam models. And it was also really nice of him to make a special order & reservation for 2 other Gundam figurines which were sold out in his store – it was extra work & accountability when he filled out the reservation form & handed me a copy of it. Today I have gone back eagerly to buy the other 2 sets of Gundam models for assembling the figurines for my little nephew. Earlier on I have also bought a Sugar Roll USB styler for setting my fringe. It’s heavy weighted because of the built-in USB mechanism. After each hair wash, I would blow dry my hair & recharge the roller. When the lighting indicator turns blue, it’s going to be ready for use soon. Finally when it’s fully charged within a very short period of maybe 1 minute only, the blue lighting will go off & the roller is ready for use! Had fun using it although I found it too heavy for my liking. The next purchase I m eyeing at from Tokyu Hands would be a curling hair brush and probably a new hair dryer…

The selection is very good. The prices are quite ex, far more so than Japanese department stores like AEON and APITA. Staff clueless about where to find things.

This is the popular Tokyu Hands store similar to those in Japan. Most things are expensive but interesting to look at and sometimes you may fine some interesting thing you may like.

Closest experience I can get to shopping in Japan. Personally I always go there so I can try out the brush pens. They also have a range of other products from skin care to kitchen wares.

Glad to see Tokyu Hands in Singapore. A great place to find some awesome products from Japan. From stationary to variety items, this is really a good place to visit if you come to Orchard Road. This is exceptionally great when you can’t make a trip to Japan during Pandamic. …

    Japanese household goods store.
You can see various stationery, kitchenware, household items, etc.
The downside is that it’s more expensive than Japan (though it’s unavoidable 😉

    일본의 생활용품점.
여러가지 문구, 주방용품, 생활용품등을 구경할 수 있으나
    일본보다는 비싼게 단점(어쩔수 없는 거지만;;)
