Because of this place, I have developed the habit of exercising. Although the equipment looks a little old, and the track and buildings can’t hide the traces of the years, it is still a very good gym on the whole, and many people come here to exercise every day.

    因為這個地方,我養成了運動的習慣,雖然設備看起來有點老舊,跑道跟建築也無法掩飾歲月的痕跡,但整體來說還是個非常棒的體育館,每天都會看到很多人來這裡運動。

It is a good venue for sports, but most of them are reserved by different groups and they use it by themselves. Let us who love sports can and cannot use the venue sometimes. I feel very disappointed, because Toa Payoh can provide limited places for citizens to exercise!

    运动的好场地、只是多数被不同团体订所他们自个运用、让我們这些爱运动者时可以、时不可以运用场地、感覺到很失望、因为、Toa Payoh能供应市民运动的地方有限!

Tracks are old. A lot of areas poping up but still acceptable. But the lockers are pathetic, only 2 bigger ones left at each end of the stadium and always fully used, the rest are very small, you can’t even squeeze in 1 small bag, very inconvenient. So its very difficulty for my friend & i to come here for running after work as there’s no place to put our belongings. Hope that there will be more lockers added to the stadium.

Fantastic public facility for a run or workout for the nearby community. Track now has synthetic grass rather than the traditional red synthetic rubber, offering a different path texture that some may not like. There’s also a pavement as an alternative to the track, as well as a fitness corner consisting of chin up bars, monkey bars, parallel bars, and sit-up stations.
Shower facilities are available, but cleanliness of the toilets can be improved.
Overall, a conducive place for exercise.

Toa Payoh stadium is very accessible from Balestier, Kim Keat Road. Also Fair Price, Giant grocery stores are at a walking distance. McDonald’s, KFC and Starbucks are also close. You can go for a swimming at swim complex or can go for Table Tennis, Badminton or even Gym.

Features a track and soccer field inside where one can enjoy watching soccer teams spar and witness people jogging and keeping fit. Has a fitness station for pushups, situps, monkey bars, dips and a track with sand pits for jump sports. Water coolers are on both sides of stadium and the track itself is in good condition. There is an option of running outside the track, which is more scenic and has larger radius to run.vending machines are coin operated and there are shower rooms in toilets

Greatly used by resident, happy that the old dame has remained faithful in serving Toa Payoh since the 70’s. But about time to give her a fresh coat on the tracks as some uneven surfaces are a safety hazard for tripping. Need to incorporate more strength training outdoor equipment as well.

Open Stadium very clean because there is a hard-working uncle limping all over the place picking rubbish and tidying up. I was there for the 2019 Pesta Sukan Archery Competition and very impressed with the hard-working organisers and volunteers. True to form most competitors stayed behind not only to cheer the medal winners but to help the volunteers keep the many target boards and racks. Cheers

Sports facilities are complete. However, the lockers and toilets need upgrading. Some lockers are beyond repair such that there are less operational lockers for public use.

There is some work done on the tracks right now. There are also some restrictions due to covid measures. Pls be careful with the undulating tracks in some parts.

Other than that this stadium remains largely the same old nice place. More details are in the photos.

Its only good for running, jogging and stretching exercises related activities. Not sure if there is any gym though. There are 2 shower/toilet rooms for both separate sexes. Its less crowded after 9 am and start to get crowded again in the evenings from 5pm onwards when the Sun is setting and its cooler to exercise.
