Had a very bad experience on Monday, 30/5/22.
Was having breakfast at about 9am when suddenly a very strong and unbearable foul smell came towards us. Upon checking, found a truck nearby doing something like sucking the water from the drain. The horrible odour lasted for about 10 minutes. Just wondering how they choose a timing when everybody is enjoying their breakfast. Maybe the residents, hawkers and shopkeepers are used to this routine already.

Great Food Court open 7 days a week. They have huge offer of Curry Fish head at S$10 for 2-3 pax. The food is good and service is speedy. You wait in the queue and collect what you point too on the way to your table. Most brightly lit food court in Singapore…can see it a mile away! Worth a visit, and you walk to the rear to the market place, and fruit shops open 7 day a week til late

An expensive food court, due probably to high rentals, the mixed rice store, the coffeeshop & Malay nasi Padang r expensive! Only the Teochew fish soup is quite reasonable!

Toa Payoh Vista Market has a smaller-size hawker centre (about 20 stalls) and a wet market side by side.

As a mature estate, you can see many elderly enjoying their morning coffee with friends and families.

Usually come here on Saturday morning for breakfast after doing marketing at the wet market beside it. I will alternate between fried carrot cake and glutinous rice. The fried carrot cake is decent and the glutinous rice is good. I always have coffee from the stall 2 stalls away from the carrot cake. Coffee gao is rather good.
