Great concept and selection of soups, combos. For the price it’s relatively fair in comparison to “fast food”. But the soup spoon has definitely lost its flair for its amazing tasty hearty soups to mass produced fast food concept.

Soups feel tad starchy and have lost its soul from when they were more than ten years ago. Service i… well no service as it is self serve.

Flat bread was quite tasty but not enough to get me back.

Clam chowder with micro bits of clam, didn’t know this is how they make it. Portion has shrunk, they will tell you rising cost. Beef burger was pretty decent. The ice tea has enough sugar to last you 2 millennium. Very lean team of staff who struggles managing the orders. Order took 20+ mins. Tables are not cleared and the tray return area is flooded in a mess. Get 1 or 2 more staff to help out.

The user interface for the ordering system needs improvement… it is quite complicated. I like their DIY salad bowls, the bulgogi is really tender, tasty and not gamey at all. The falafel is ok but a tad dry. Love the basil dressing and the pickles. The arugula is always fresh. Pumpkin soup is a little on the thin side, prefer a thicker, more chunky soup. Mushroom soup tastes weird. Overall still pretty good, will probably try more items on their DIY salad list.

The food tastes the same as with any other Soup Spoon. However, the cleanliness is appalling. I sat here for an hour & noticed 3 staff – a Filipino man manning the station, a Chinese lady in the kitchen and an Indian girl probably having her breaj busy surfing the internet and getting her ipad charge. She walked around a few times but oblivious to the empty bowls and dirty tables.

Customers had to clear the trays and bowls and dust off the bread crumbs from table top to seats …. intetesting sight of mess. I wonder what would i see if i open rhe door to the kitchen.

When i asked formy bread roll from Chinese lady who served my sandwich, her Indian colleague whom she asked did a half hearted attempt to ask what happened.

Guess thats the state of F&B outlets in SGP. Yupz lower my expectations ya.

Decent outlet. Usually go on weeknights, not crowded at all. Good place for meetups over dinner. I somehow always feel this outlet serves better flatbreads and sandwiches – as in they are more generous with the fillings, which is a good thing for me …

Ordered a Warrior bowl through the self-service kiosk and when the meal arrived I realized it has peanuts! (I’m allergy to peanuts)

Seeing my surprise and asked for a plate to separate it out, the staff at Velocity on 15-Nov was SO KIND to help to prepare a new portion without peanuts!

Thank you so much to the crew on 15-Nov for the kind and impeccable service! Happy to be a souperholic!

If you have ever eaten Hainanese curry rice or nasi kandar, the soups sort of give you the same vibe, messy and ugly looking but delicious in taste! It’s the definition of “japalang” comfort food.

I liked their broccoli miso, it was very hearty albeit on the salty side. The chicken stew had clear broth and lots of ingredients, too. The adults enjoyed the red rice but my grands had a hard chewing them. The olive bits buns were dried out inside although they seemed soft to the touch. This will not be a daily fare for us but they do make a substantial heartwarming meal on a cold day or night.

It looks like the kitchen staff might have missed out the greens in this salad I ordered. To all honesty, I thought I just had a fried tofu fixed by some Chinese restaurant next door.

Had my dinner at Novena Soup Spoon. It was a very bad experience. I dine in in a small space area. The worst part is that the speaker that calls out the order number that the food is ready has gone real bad and no one bother to repair or replace it.
And next, you’ll get a Muslim lady whom was at the counter shouting for the order number that the food is ready for collection.
Was there around 6plus to 7pm. Can you imagine the crowd and the order keeps flowing in and how many orders that our ears had to bear with the shouting every now and then…. Definitely won’t go back to that branch for sure.

If you order takeaway still not so bad.

If you want to dine in, there are always uncleared tables with dirty dishes on tables as there are only 2 serving staff and 1 or 2 chefs. Even the tray return corner is full to the brim.

Orders for dine in took about 15 to 20 minutes during lunch hours.

Decent soups with nice sandwich/wrap options. Relatively quick too, usually <10m wait.

I absolutely love getting my meal at soup spoon either with the fine in option or the take out.

My experience with most of their soups has been good and can’t complain about the portion size, especially when their is an option to up-size the soup quantity at $1.

I end up taking their soup sets, as it proves to be a good heart meal with a soup, bread, a drink and a sandwich.

Over all a good experience, but I wish that the restaurant comes up with more veggie soup options.

2 set meals can cost you $26, a good deal for catching up on nights you don’t wanna cook and still eat healthy.

I ordered the sandwich set and made my soup a large because I’m in love with the tomato basil, except what I received was exceptionally saltier and less spicy than usual.

It’s ok. Beef goulash had pretty generous portions of veg and meat. But the tomato soup wasn’t really to my taste, a bit too spicy and the Thai fusion wasn’t what I was expecting. Preferred the soft roll to the multi grain but both still remind me of airline rolls…
