    Excellent service by the team for Republic from arrival to departure. In particular to Dunstan Chen, for his initiative, knowledge and excellent customer service through out the whole experience. Ensuring to look after his guests and even remembering our names indeed makes the experience very personalised. It was a great experience and we will surely be back again.     Always one of the best brunch locations in town for as long as I can remember. Good food selection and great quality. Seafood includes lobster and oysters, also Indian and local choices. Washed down with a free flow champagne if you choose.

    Just when I thought it couldn’t get better…

    Beyond being engulfed in complete luxury with all the usual amenities of a six-star hotel, the service quality was absolutely over the top! The wonderful General Manager, Peter Mainguy arranged for me to have my favorite Marina Bay room with gorgeous views of the harbor. A big thanks for accommodating my special request.

    However, even more impressive was the service quality from the staff. Noticing that I was using a pillow support for my neck, the thoughtful evening Butler had arranged for me to have a complimentary neck support memory foam pillow without my even asking. This amazing attention to detail and the customers individual personal needs is really what sets the Ritz Carlton apart from other leading hotels.

    Another key advantage for Ritz, is that they have a PCR clinic right next door. Very convenient for travelers who need an immediate PCR test before departure.

    Overall, one of the most consistently best rated across all categories. I’ve stayed at the hotel over 18 years and they never fail to impress.

    Having said ALL that, I WOULD prefer to see Ritz Carlton Milennia be able to allow #Bonvoy Members to earn points / nights for their stay. That is currently the only thing missing from an otherwise perfect hotel choice.

    One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

    I was in a suite where the ceiling leaked which took 5+ hours to fix.

    Requested a document printout at 9pm and after a near 3 hour ordeal, did not receive it until nearly midnight causing me to miss sleep.

    What topped all of this off was that the hotel was completely understaffed and it would take anywhere from 5-10 tries to reach an operator.

    Will never stay here again.

    Arrived at 3.10pm with a suite booked. Room wasn’t ready. We were told the room is ready when it’s ready. No commitment to any time. Wasn’t offered anything, so I escalated it. Front desk wasn’t helpful at all but the manager (Douglas) came through and offered a temp room as well as credit.

    The stay itself was okay, but nothing extraordinary whatsoever. Room had several long black hair in it. Housekeeping overall did not do a great job. Generally everything felt a bit dated, too.

    There was also significant daily noise as the national day parade was rehearsing until 10 PM with very loud music. Nothing the hotel could do about that, but didn’t add to our stay.

    Breakfast had some decent vegetarian options. Particularly the samosas and the vegetarian masala were good. The setup, however, is a bit confusing and it’s (seriously) easy to get lost in “Colony” restaurant. Good quality food though.

    Overall I’d give this Ritz-Carlton a 3/5 max rating. Even if the check-in experience would have been better it would receive max a 4/5. Would not recommend and instead go back to the MBS (same price, better amenities).

    We checked into Ritz Carlton and had to wait 2 hours to get our rooms assigned. Meanwhile, dozen of people behind us got their keys. There was no service recovery from the front desk, and they kept us waiting without any update on the time required.

    We just checked out from another hotel where we had our wedding banquet and this stay was meant to be our honeymoon. It was mentioned to the concierge 1 week prior, but no arrangement was made to congratulate us and generally a lack of sincerity from the service team. For the price the hotel is charging, I have expected more and this experience left a sour note in my mouth.

    The Ritz-Carlton hotel was one of the best hotels I’ve seen so far after staying in so many different hotel establishments. The rooms were spacious and grand, with the toilet being large and clean with a bathtub, the view was spectacular seeing the Singapore skyline from your bedroom was spectacular. Adding to the good review, the staff was amazing, kind, professional, and very helpful. The location and accommodations nearby were good too as it was within walking distance to many attractions and malls. Overall this hotel is a very nice place to stay and relax if you have a budget.

    Great location with stunning views. We lost a night due to our flight being delayed, and even though at no fault of the hotel, they upgraded our room. Everyone is at your service and is very friendly. The bellboy even gave us his top recommendations for “where locals eat” and where he likes to take his own family out to eat on weekends.

    Checkin and checkout takes way way too long. The express checkout is too much trouble as well. The housekeeping/room service/concierge are not coordinated at all.

    The breakfast and room however are both brilliant though. For a similar price ish the Capella and even the JW are miles ahead.

    View from 10th floor suite was wonderful with the SG iconic marina Bay Area. Breakfast is SGD56++ per pax. We were really impressed by the service, especially Beng Kuan who noticed I was feeling under the weather and pour a hot cup of water with lemon and honey to our table. Made our morning! Food was good too.

    Ritz is truly next level.

    Sadly we paid alot for the room but was not given a late check out wile other good hotels with the same star gave us a late check out. Should consider having kids pool
    rather then a deco fountain which serves no purpose. Room wise its fantastic as view was nice and the space was huge.

    Family and myself spent 3 nights at The Ritz Carlton and absolutely loved our stay. The staff is making you feeling special and at home. Always helpful to make every wish happening for you.     Beautiful views and public spaces – but poor acoustics with creaky wood floors – you’ll hear every movement from your neighbors upstairs. Also, while the furniture has been updated, there’s a lack of maintenance (Eg shower implements that fall, dated electrical outlets and the like). Long lines at the small lobby desks as well.

    I am quite disappointed in the service of ritz carlton, quite recently I booked for a staycation and was suppose to check in at 3. I had reached there slightly earlier then check in time and hoped for an early check in. Instead I had to wait for 1 to 2 hours even then they said that the room was not ready. I decided to ask for a refund and was able to get a full refund. Nonetheless I had to wait for quite some time before getting a room and bare in my mind it was only for a day.

    We stayed at Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore early Jan 2023. Once we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the concierge and our luggage was taken away to be looked after straight away. We were also offered water at the same time.

    We stayed at a room with club lounge access and checking in was via the club lounge on Level 32. Once we were taken to Level 32, we were led to the lounge for beverages and checking in was a breeze. Views from there were amazing and we just sat at the table enjoying our champagne while the manager checked us in. The service was also impeccable, we were made to feel very welcome. We had a 7 year old with us and he was also very well looked after. The club lounge offered alcohol in all the sittings, including breakfast !

    The room had good views and facilities we would expect from a 5 star hotel e.g. nespresso machine, amenities etc. Room services was also prompt.

    The pool is an outdoor pool and there were 2 people at the “pool station” helping out with towels, sunscreen, water and floaties. The steam room, sauna and jacuzzi were in a dedicated vacinity and very well run by the spa. Only 18 year olds are allowed due to government regulations. It offers a relaxing sanctuary if you’re into spas.

    We had breakfast in both the Colony restaurant and the club lounge. In comparison, colony has a wider spread, but I wouldn’t consider breakfast at the lounge lacking at all. Service at both are efficient and welcoming.

    In summary, we had a great stay here and their club lounge facilities and service is in general better than all the other club lounges we have experienced.

    We stayed here for two nights at the end of our week long Singapore holiday for a bit of a pamper and it was a great pick! The location is brilliant and the club rooms and club suite were fantastic. The amenities, breakfast, art around the hotel and the attention to detail all fantastic. Audrey who attended to us at the club lounge made us feel so special and comfortable and we wanted to thank her for that! There weren’t too many vegetarian options at the club lounge and she so kindly arranged for some. We had a wonderful time and would totally visit again!

    From the moment my mum and I got off the car, we received an extraordinary service like never before.

    Prakash escorted us from the entrance to the front desk, while introducing us to where everything was and even kept us company until we were checked in.

    Xu Chen from front desk was warm and welcoming and offered us a late check out and even a complimentary room upgrade as it was our first time staying here, and he wanted to make it memorable and comfortable.

    Karen from Summer Pavilion took great care of my mum and I, showing genuine care and interest throughout our conversations.

    At the Republic Bar, we were warmly greeted by Jojo and Toni and they remembered our names from our last visit. Rudi sat us down and pleasantly introduced himself, stopping by our table at times to ensure everything was going smoothly.

    I would like to thank the bartenders Cassandra and JI for making my mum really happy by keeping her company whenever I left the table. And immense gratitude to Paulo, who fulfilled our unexpressed wishes – he made us each a mini Irish coffee when he knew I wanted to let my mum try a coffee based cocktail. He even explained the history of the menu with great passion, and suggested cocktails for us to try and customised them to our preferences.

    Overall, the staff of the Ritz Carlton Singapore definitely upheld their Credo and provided us with a warm, relaxed yet refined ambience. We look forward to staying with you again.

    Booked a staycation for my family and we were well taken care of. The staff were attentive to our needs and approachable. They also were observant and quick to offer help without us asking. Everyone greeted us with a cheerful smile. The facilities were gorgeous and the kids were sad to leave. We have booked our next stay!

    1. Lobby smells like stale reused detergent in a public toilet.
    2. Checkin took 45 minutes
    3. We were not welcomed as part of Amex Fine Resorts and Hotels guests nor did anyone bother to introduce us to the Amex Platinum perks. We had to demand them.
    4. We were lied to when we demanded the Amex platinum upgrade and they said we were already upgraded. rechecked our bookings and we were not upgraded.
    5. The bath towels have seen better days and years and scratched my body.
    6. The Millenia Square skywalk has signs of all the hotels that connect to it except Ritz Cariton.
    7. At breakfast we were given a table next to the kitchen till I made an issue about it having seen the tables 50% empty.
    8. No butler service for this remarkable brand even for the suites.
    9. They don’t understand the difference between guests who have corporates pay for an extremely discounted 2-3 days stay and people who take multiple/suites and rooms for 4-5 days stay.
    10. To top it up Douglas Heng the front desk manager was rude and disrespectful. Even when I tried to end the argument (where he was wrong) he still continued talking to prove his point. Which was totally irrelevant.

    I reiterate Singapore pride themselves in hospitality and tourism. This experience was shameful.

    Chose to stay at Ritz Carlton as I thought it was a fail-safe choice. However due to a system outage, my original check in time was delayed from 3pm to 7pm! I’d expect this from a 2 or 3 star hotel but definitely not from a hotel like Ritz Carlton. It’s simply shocking that a 5-star hotel with so many years of experience handling guests would not have any contingencies in place for such incidents. Instead, we were simply told to wait around for a call. As we were travelling with a baby, this made it all the more difficult having to wait around whilst dealing with a restless baby. When checking on the progress of the room, the staff could not guarantee a time and did not offer any additional services to make the waiting time more bearable.(The least the hotel could do was to offer a waiting area with drinks/snacks). I have stayed at many 5-star hotels around the world and by far, this has been my worst experience.

    On the bright side, one of the service staff, Mahesh was very helpful and did his best to offer some form of compensation to salvage what’s left of our stay.

    For those families out there who have chosen Ritz Carlton for their upcoming stay, I’d highly recommend you call the hotel prior to going down to check on the check in process so you will not have to go through what we went though.

    I book and paid for a king bed room, but they gave us a twin. Said that there’s no king room available
    But when i search, there’s still available in website . The front office also said that we only stay one night so its ok to take twins LOL

    While the room looks old , the service is even terrible – coffee machine broken down but no one came over to fix it after calling front desk; their system was down so there’s no receipt when I checked out but they never send it back to me as they promised; tried to call them but no one picked up the phone or I got hang up many times as they pretend cannot hear me.

    We had booked a Club Deluxe Kallang Room with The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore from 25 – 26 June 2022, and it was a major disappointment.

    1) When we did our check-in at Level 3, our reservation details were not captured accurately in the system. The front desk associate informed us that our reservation was Grand Kallang Room, but the reservation which we paid for was for Club Deluxe Kallang Room. At the same time, the front desk associate checked if we would like a smoking room or non-smoking room, and we requested for a non-smoking room. After that, we were being ushered to the club lounge to complete our check-in.

    2) Our room was located on level 24, room 2425. To our astonishment, the moment we stepped out of the lift at level 24, what welcomed us was a reek of cigarette smell. The smell was so strong that we could smell it perfectly well even with our mask on. At that point, we could only pray hard that our room wouldn’t reek of cigarette smell.

    3) The moment we entered our room, 2425, it was appalling. The room reeks of cigarette smell and the room looks dated. The floorboards were creaking away as we walked through the room, there was dead insects lying on the bathub. For that moment, we thought that we had checked into a budget hotel.

    4) At 2.15pm, I chatted with crew via the Marriott Messaging App and informed them of the cigarette smell in the room, and requested for a room change. The operator noted my request and informed me that the front desk will give us a call once they have identified a room for the change. And the long wait began.

    5) We were exhausted, and we did not want to mess up the room, thus we only used the toilet and its basin, and lied on the bed for an hour nap. It was definitely a wrong decision. Both my wife and I woke up with a bad headache and stuffy nose. My wife suffered a headache and was required to take medication to alleviate the headache.

    6) At around 8pm, I chatted (again) with the operator via the Marriott Messaging App to check in on the status of the change of room. After 6 whole hours of waiting and no response from the crew, the only suggestion offered was to set up a humidifier to ease the smell? This is totally unacceptable. I have informed the operator that my wife is unwell from the smell, but they only offered a humidifier to ease the smell? And from the term “humidifier” – its functions say more of providing moisture for the room rather than removing the smell! And how are we supposed to sleep through the night? Knowing that a mere one-hour nap has created so much discomfort for both of us? By that time, all our clothes and luggage reeked of cigarette smell.

    7) It was only at 8.15pm that they finally offered a room change. It was 6 hours after we feedback on the smell of cigarettes in the room and we only managed to entered our new room at 8.30pm .

    8) But the nightmare did not stop at 8.30pm. Throughout our stay in room 2101, we realized that the room cleanliness was not up to standard:
    – There were black specks and hair in the bathtub
    – There were mold in the toilet and near the rain showerhead area
    – One of the bath towels is stained
    – The mirror in the toilet is cracked
    – There is a missing teacup and some missing coffee capsules
    – There were left over items from the previous guest – 2 bottles of water in the mini fridge, a stack of receipts & straws in the study desk drawers
    – There were unsealed drinking water bottles mixed with the sealed drinking water – to which, I am not sure if the unseal bottles were opened by the previous guest. With so many items left behind from the previous guests. It makes us wonder – was the room thoroughly cleaned?

    We have also emailed the General Manager on 2 occasions (26 and 30 June 2022) to feedback on our stay experience but did not receive any response till date. It seems to us that the management of the property is not interested in addressing guests’ feedback.

    I brought my family of 5 for a short 3D2N Staycation in Oct 2022 before our year end trip to Bali, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai at luxurious Anantara properties. Sadly, even though I had pre-informed about our early check in request, there were no replies via emails. Due to the huge surge of check-ins, we were made to wait for our rooms by roaming the area and only managed to complete our check in procedures for the 2nd room at 5.30pm on Day 1 for our Kallang Rooms.

    Since they insisted on not participating in Bonvoy, we didnt get any room upgrades nor breakfast even though we are Platinium Elites. Our card keys were also not working when we tried at the door and we have to wait for another 45mins for the front desk to bring up newly coded card keys. We spent that 45mins waiting at the corridor like a bunch of homeless people and when the concierge arrived, there was no remorse nor any service recovery. Due to this incompetence, I was late for my business meeting with local politicians at the nearby venue.

    Both of our rooms are very old and dated. Floor boards creaked and buckled when we walk over them and some areas were purposly covered by the carpet to hide the prevailing defects. Turn downs during the evenings were messy and inconsistent in standards. Comments raised through the Bonvoy app were not responded even for our requests for late check-out on Day 3. Yet again, Elites have no special treatment as they are non-believers of Bonvoy.

    The pool area was also very old with stained flooring near the deck chairs. Only the tiles of the swimming pool were recently done up 2 years before the pandemic. Cold water was not served to guests immediately when we found our deck chairs as other 5 star properties. Used towels were left on chairs and not cleaned up once other guests have left the pool.

    Sadly, with the current boom in overseas tourists arriving to Singapore, Ritz Millenia had decided in not preserving the loyalty of local customers like ourselves even though we had stayed there previously as short staycations. Now, it just seems that local Elites also do not see any further value in staying at Ritz Millienia as there are better service provided by luxurious properties even at other Ritz worldwide. Also, the hotel owner Pontiac Group should start to think about renovations as many guests have already seen it as just an old hotel with empty promises.

    For us, we promised to disown Ritz Millenia and never to return again. It has fallen from grace and past its prime.

    I stayed for 5 days at the Ritz singapore. The Hotel needs renovation. The rooms are old and dusty. The service is extremely slow. It took 30 minutes to check in. Limited selection of food at the buffet. Although i was staying at hotel they asked me to pay by card because they have system issues. And if you are a Bonvoy member you will not get any points from your stay. I would not recommend it. The only positive thing is the location and the size of the rooms.

    Very disappointed with the service here. Amazing location, iconic property with unbeatable views. Staff doesn’t do Justice. We checked in at 3pm, the check in time and yet there were only 2 staff manning reception and about 10 people standing in a queue like it was a bus stop. When we needed something we called room service at 3 different times and was never answered, the call kept going on hold and getting transferred to another line and eventually dropping ! At the breakfast buffet which was underwhelming, we asked for a glass of water for the 2 of us and got just 1 glass. When we called the server after a bit to ask for the second glass, his response was ‘what do you want’ and not a ‘how can I help’. I might sound pedantic and picky but for $1000 a night you just expect a little better hospitality and service. ‍️

    We had a room on the 19th floor of Ritz-Carlton and the view was spectacular; it was a breathtaking overview of Marina Bay Sands, the ArtScience Museum and CBD area.

    We were also well taken care of by Joyous, who introduced us to the Augmented Reality experience of the artworks (moving butterflies / dolphins superimposed on the images) in the hotel and provided immaculate service. We wish to give a shout-out to her for being such an attentive officer. We were really touched by her gestures, which made our stay ever more enjoyable.

    The amenities of Ritz-Carlton were good, from the large spread at breakfast, to the gym and the pool; we would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you for the experience!

    The hotel is beautiful. Clean. Love the interior design here in the breakfast area- high ceilings and lots of this golden warmth in the color scheme. Makes mornings very pleasant and calming. I’m big on color, lighting and how the two combine to make for a unique space. This place did a great job with both.

    I was beyond disappointed to find out after my stay and well after booking that this hotel uses Marriott’s Bonvoy website, app etc to advertise itself as part of the network but then does not credit you with Bonvoy points and nights after your stay.
    I would not have chosen this hotel if it was not part of the network.
    It has soured my experience as a guest and all I can do is warn other business travelers and vacationers to look at options like the Westin or JW Marriott instead of here.

    Given the price paid for a hotel room, you would expect a better experience here compared to other hotels. However, the check-in process was slow (had to wait 20 minutes or so). Furthermore, the staff told us that the room would only be ready after 3pm and would inform us about it, yet no calls were made even though the room was ready. We had to visit the concierge and ask about it.

    The only plus points for booking a room here are the harbour view and the breakfast at colony which was splendid.

    The hotel was great. While its age was showing, the property was still well maintained.

    A big plus point is that the rooms are huge by modern standard. It has ample space for my family of 5. The bathroom was lovely. It had a tub and separate shower stall. No matter which side your room is facing, you get fantastic view of Kallang or Marina Bay.

    The swimming pool is 25 metres in length and should be 6 or 7 lanes wide.

    The service was lovely. I would recommend a stay if your budget allows.

    Excellent hotel and even more excellent are its staff. I don’t even know where to begin, but they made us feel very welcome from the very onset ( even through email correspondence). I was here with my two grown children to celebrate my birthday. and a big shout out to Dickson who organised lovely touches to our room, and a delicious birthday cake and other trimmings – which we were welcomed to when we arrived in our room. Although we normally book suites, the deluxe marina bay view room was beautiful and spacious enough for us. The view to the bay and the cityscape are priceless. The room was spotless, and although the WC is small, it was clean. The bathroom is a masterpiece with those views to the bay. We booked the club-lounge option which I highly recommend. The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore Club Lounge is probably one of the best we have been to. Super clean. yummy food throughout the day, and an endless flow of champagne We had everything we needed here, and worth every penny for the extra you pay for the lounge access. Again the staff here were faultless and professional. A shoutout to Chef Alex who on our day – made us a special dessert which my daughter said was the best thing she has eaten ( and she is one fussy eater). The club-lounge supervisor ( whose name we didn’t get) was super nice too and even gave us tips about the best places to visit. Lovely, lovely professional staff all around. And Dickson is just a super gem. We loved it here so much, that we are already thinking of spending our Christmas break here. We give our stay 11/10 and we can’t wait to come back and try out the spa and other facilities.

    It was a very nice stay at the Ritz. Besides they need to take care of some things. The towels were old and not in great condidtion. Bathrobe and slippers are also a bit strange. And the pool area needs a bit more attention. For that price everything needs to be perfect, but it wasn´t. All in all still a very good hotel.

    Stayed at the Ritz-Carlton in December 2022 for over a week while in Singapore visiting friends and family – arrived in Singapore in the early morning touching down at 5am after a red-eye flight and arrived at the hotel at 7am. Warmly greeted by staff and at check-in a particular mention to the staff – Cally who in many ways tried to get us a room ASAP as we were travelling with our toddler when the hotel was at 95%/full occupancy

    She was eventually able to get us a room at around 10am. Many thanks to her for accomodating us.

    Service at the Ritz was exceptional, prompt, responsive and world class. Ask and it gets done and done well. Newspaper, an extra towel or toiletries or making up of the room. Many a 5 star hotel drops the ball after the initial amazing impression but the service at the ritz ensures that guests are continually well looked after.

    The hotel still retains its beauty and its majestic appeal, the room was still in good condition although showing its age with some visible wear and tear. The iconic bathroom and bathroom window was a joy to behold as it overlooked the Tanjong Rhu condominiums where I grew up.

    All in all a great stay and will definitely be the top choice when I return to Singapore.

    next to noisy lift room , probably for staff use. It was horrible and since i am a gold elite Marriott member , they did not upgrade us. We stay 4 nights at standard room. Sizes were great and the view was good but the hotel is old. Experience was much less than anticipated, as we frequent stay at Hong Kong Ritz Carlton and they are by far the best.

    We loved our stay at the Ritz-Carlton, like we enjoyed all of our stays at the other Ritz-Carlton’s in the world. We booked two rooms with bathtubs facing Marina. I forgot to take photos from the rooms but they are quite spacious. The location and the view of the Marina Bay is still quite good even when the iconic Marina Bay Sands is competing for customers and the best location. We loved the choice at the ground floor buffet restaurant as well. Trust me, Marina Bay Sands is location wise a bit ahead, but the service is much better at the Ritz. I can tell this because we tried both 😉

    Our family booked Ritz Carlton to celebrate 2 family members birthday but the experience was bad – 1) We have to wait till 440pm before we are allocated a room. We had plans for that day and thought we could check in by 3pm or at most 4pm. 2) We booked a Marina Bay view but somehow was allocated a Kallang view.

    I would have given a one star if not for a friendly hotel staff, Cally, who took time to help find a Marina Bay room and she has had written a thank you note to the family the next day! Thank you Cally!

    Finally had the Ritz-Carlton experience during a family staycation to celebrate my parents’ wedding anniversary. We were absolutely blown away!

    The thoughtfulness, generosity and hard work by the team made the day truly special for my family. Everything was so well orchestrated; one can only imagine the effort that was put in to make everything possible.     We had stayed at the wonderful Ritz Carlton Mandapa Reserve in Bali and came to the Ritz Carlton in Singapore for 4 nights before heading back to NZ. We were treated like family by Chuck and his team in the Club Lounge on level 32. Service is extremely good and the views and food are exceptional. The hotel is very well situated near the magnificent Gardens by the Bay. I over heard several guests in the lounge discussing with staff their previous visits to this hotel in the past – pre covid, so you know it truely is a great hotel.     If I could give zero stars I would. Hotel was being visited by a soccer team and the hotel staff wouldn’t let me in the hotel while they were arriving. I was exhausted from 19 hours of travel, and all I wanted was my bed. seemed to me that the hotel was more concerned with the celebrities than they were with me. As I stood outside knocking on the door the employees ignored me or waived me away – even after I showed them my key card and explained I was just trying to get to my room. Hotel also doesn’t subscribe to the Marriot Elite program so you do not earn points or nights on your account. I had no idea this was even a thing, and the website doesn’t show this unless you click through multiple screens and read the small print. total waste – will never stay here again

Interactions with staff was always something we will remember and would like to call out Raj (Breakfast / dining room mgr), Jeyakumar (lobby mgr), Bella (cleaning) and too many others to mention. We will not look past Ritz for any return trips to Singapore.

    Went on weekday for Christmas Afternoon tea at Colony. After the champagne is served half way. Me and my friends need to remind the staff to finish another half. No menu is given. No staff is asking about our choice of tea. When we noticed the group of ppl came in after us are served. We double check with the staff again. By then is already 30mins we sit in.

    Customer need to remind the staff what to do for few times just for a simple afternoon tea at Colony RITZ CARLTON when I can get a better service for $20++ afternoon tea at other place?

    Average, nothing special. The hotel was quite clean, and organzied. The rooms were nice but a little dated and worn. The staff was the best part. Very very good service. The bed was nice and comfortable. The pool was ok, but very cold, and totally in the shade from the building, no sun. The Colony Buffet was the most dissapointing. Very basic, and nothing special. Little details were dissapointing at breakfast. Bacon was poor quality, potatoes poor, basic selection, omlets small, bread not up to par. Soup was bland. All in all not a 5 star buffet. Not sure if it matters to you, but no longer part of Marriotts Bonvoy. All in all not what I would expect from the Ritz!

    Booked in February 2022 to secure a suite for National Day period 8 Aug – 10 Aug. Was told via phone and email by reservation staff Roselind that a complimentary extra bed will be provided, as well as a cake since we were celebrating the birthday of 1 of our children. Ages of our 3 young children(all below 5) was also sought so that amenities can be provided

    Arrived at hotel at 1630 on 8 August – Room was not ready. Was promised complimentary breakfast for entire family for 2 mornings by staff Ganga though we did not even fuss about the room not being ready. We delightfully accepted the kind gesture.

    Room was ready at around 6 and we received a call. Had our dinner and headed back to the hotel at around 630. Went to our room. There was no extra complimentary bed, no kids amenities. Was sent a cake for the birthday celebration i had indicated in my booking. My husband called operator to request for the extra bed and waited, no bed. I called again an hour later, no answer though the line jumped. I proceeded to front desk to request for the promised complimentary bed and an additional cot, told them it was for young kids below age 5 who are going to bed so will appreciate if it could be sent asap, staff said it will be seen to. 8pm – still no bed. My husband made another call and had to be quite nasty and a bed was provided finally at around 830-840pm. Someone tried to reach out to us via call at 9+ but my husband declined to talk as we had to put the kids to sleep.

    Next morning, we proceeded to Colony for breakfast which was given to us complimentary because of the late room. Was told by staff, our room was not entitled for breakfast. I proceeded to front desk to clarify this and let them know of our frustration, and was only responded with an excuse that “a remark is being made in the system for breakfast, but the restaurant staff will not be able to see this. You can go have your breakfast. We usually will charge it to your room and waive later.” We were not informed of this procedure and i do not think it is my issue that there is no communication between various departments in the hotel when there should have been. We decided not to have breakfast at the hotel.

    Hakim had called later at 345pm to offer $150 for the bed fiasco to be used at restaurants or for breakfast with no background of what happened in the morning(this we confirmed with him). We informed him of all that has happened and the condition of facilities in the room and that we decline the $150, complimentary breakfast or anything they wish to offer. It is not any compensation or freebies we are seeking for.. but this lack of interest in service provision and poor service standards is just outright appalling.

    I have feedback to staff that

    1.They could take a card out of MBS service – where a day before the guest is being called to confirm arrival time and room requests. This staggers out check in times, reduce wait time and ensures rooms are ready for guests and set up with required amenities.

    2. It is alright to inform guests that they are overwhelmed(if they are) and requests will need a little time to be seen to. Or call back guests to inform that the requests are taking some time but will be seen to and not forgotten.

    3. Communication between departments could be improved for the experience of guests. Handover could be done better so that guests don’t have to keep repeating their issues to different staff members they encounter during the stay.

    There were also serious issues with the room. Mobile data service was non-existent, TV barely worked(probably because of reception issues), power sockets were non functioning, Wifi kept disconnecting. Nothing was being done about this and was ignored.

    Overall, a very very poor experience for the kind of money you are being charged. And totally not expected of a hotel with such a reputation. And lastly, no managerial

    Below is the exact email that I wrote to their GM, Peter Mainguy before I checked out. Never heard back from him but Gregory Astima did contact me 2 days after I checked out and moved to Marina Bay Sands. By the way, my Sands experience was IMMACULATE in every aspect! Gregory did say that he will personally take care of me the next time I stay at Ritz but not sure if I will stay there ever again. Will update the review if I do stay at Ritz again.

    I am a very reasonable person and had never written a complaint to any hotels ever. I have stayed on your property for half a dozen times.
    I used to travel to HK monthly but was unable to do so due to their stringent covid policy. This is the first time I am meeting my 80 yo mom since Feb 2020. Choosing your hotel is an absolute disaster and that is an understatement.

    1. We originally had rooms 808 and 810. Room smelled like a public toilet and I thought it was my nose being sensitive. Had lunch with mom later and she told me to buy some sour stuff or mint because she has the urge to throw up due to the odor of the room.
    2. Called to ask for a room change. Had called front desk about ten times in the last 48 hours and it took a minimum of 5 minutes for someone to pickup. Half of the time, the phone rang for 10+ minutes, or until I capitulated and gave up
    3. Finally got the room change request done and were supposed to be called when room is available at 3pm, noone bothered to call or provide an update, we returned back to the hotel at 5:20 and the line at the counter was unbearable. Went to the room to call and guess what, noone picked up for 10+ minutes. Went down and speak with Agent “C”, she told us the room will be ready at 7. She was apologetic and admitted that there were some major plumbing issues due to dated facilities on that floor and further affirmed why the room stinks and caused my mom to feel sick.
    4. Got back to the new room 908 at 10:30pm. There were no hot water. Called and no one picked up after 10+ minutes. Gave up calling, tried to sleep but someone was drilling on the wall. Hoping it will stop but it did not. At midnight, I tried to call and 10+ minutes, and noone picked up
    5. I got dressed, walked down and found the manager. He was in disbelief and went to the room with me and within 30 seconds, he heard the drilling sound. After some investigation, he told me there were some water heater plumbing issues and engineering will try to get it fixed. Sound finally went away and he told me that hot water will resume shortly. I was dealing with this madness past 1am and my sleep was totally ruined
    6. Woke up this morning to check hot water and there was none, kept the faucet on running and started calling the front desk, 15 minutes to no availability. Finally got hot water and the concussive drilling sound is returning. What a way to start a day!

    This is unacceptable in every aspect!

    I stayed at Ritz for a few nights. At the point of checking out, I met one of the Ritz employees – Syakinah and asked her whether Marriott Bonvoy members get any F&B discount. She explained that Ritz was not part of the Marriott Bonvoy program, however she gave me a $100 F&B rebate without me asking for it. It was really a pleasant surprise. I will definitely go back and stay at the hotel – keep up the good work!

    Review was overdue but decided to share my experience.

    I booked a staycation package about a year ago for a birthday celebration. The last time I came was more than 10 years ago.

    I booked a regular room but they surprised me with some additional benefits. I was really happy about it.

    The entire experience was nothing short of amazing. The service staff, food, massage and facilities are excellent.

    I will come back again. Thank you Ritz for the wonderful experience!

    Rooms were almost impeccable. Tap had some loud vibration.

    Check in experience was almost bad. Long slow queues but luckily Amirul came to open another counter and alleviate this.

    Breakfast also had a super long queue. My table was cleared when I went to take more food and took a while to be reset (server looked unhappy about it). Servers were too brusque even when considering the queues. Tea
    Pots were slammed on the table. And they went away before we could ask anything. I had to call for one and when she spun around, the leftover liquids on her tray spilled onto the floor.

    Worst check in experience I’ve ever had. Over 20 guests in line, and only 1 person working at the counter. Queue time will likely be an hour, just to check in! We only have 24 hours a day, Ritz, this is NOT ok.

    Went there to take a look at the ballroom for someone’s wedding dinner. The ballroom and the reception area are really posh and spacious with super high ceiling and state of the art video screens.

    Food wise, could opt for 1 star Michelin menu.

    Public transport is good with MRT station nearby for guests who do not drive.

    Nice of the banquet staff to serve us their wonderful coffee and Madeline.


    Just had my daughter’s wedding dinner held at the ballroom. It was attended by more than 300 guests. All guests commented that the food was excellent. The customer service was wonderful.

    When I had to go up or down the stage, a staff would be at the steps to hold my hand. I am 68 years old.

    When I was standing at the door to thank guests, a staff came up to offer me a glass of water. She observed that I had to speak to so many people and would require some refreshment.


    The staff went that extra mile, taking their own initiative to delight customers. They went beyond my family and my daughter’s wedding guests expectation.


    Attended a DBS event here last night. Don’t know why we couldn’t get wine served at our table while all tables around us were served. Finally, when a staff came over, she only had enough wine to serve 4 out of 8 persons. She went to get more but took a super long time to come back.

    Overall a great hotel for a weekend trip but overpriced for what is. I will likely try another hotel next time.

    What I liked:
    – great location with amazing bay views (if you book the right room)
    – mostly great service
    – excellent breakfast buffet
    – comfortable beds

    What I didn’t like:
    – rooms look a tired
    – mold in the bathrooms
    – bath tub was leaking
    – TV didn’t work properly (choppy pictures)
    – wifi/internet speed insufficient (even though there was no option to upgrade)
    – some of the hotel staff were poorly trained and unprofessional

    We’ve stayed at a lot of really nice hotels all over the world; however, our experience at this hotel was by far the most exceptional. The staff was so friendly, attentive, and helpful and their attention to detail was unprecedented. The Ritz’s location was central to all the major sights; we were able to walk to Gardens by the Bay, the Merlion, Marina Bay Sands, Chinatown, and the Muslim quarter. And if you enjoy running, there’s a great running path outside your hotel. My favorite aspect of all was the view from our room on the 31st floor. Our room faced the Marina Bay Sands side. I can’t tell you how many times I stared out the window staring at the view.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay , and would like to commend all the staff, and especially our host Mei. She was fantastic and made our stay so comfortable, even purchasing something for my wife’s back which was playing up.     The good:
    Beds were comfortable
    Drinks in the club lounge were generous and cocktails in the bar were good
    Staff were friendly

    The bad:
    Check-in was appalling, long queue, failed to add club floor access to our passes
    Breakfast queue was even worse, the breakfast area was badly laid out with different food stands spread around the area and hidden away, food was often luke warm and coffee was atrocious.
    My daughter went to bed bite free on the first night and awoke to over 20 bites. BED BUGS – which they then denied.
    Not enough lifts, took forever to get a lift up with big queues at peak times.

    Overall could not recommend. Far better quality 5-star hotel chains.

    Stayed for 1 night over the weekend and loved the room! It’s big, clean and comfortable. The walk-in closet and huge bathroom add to the space.
    The check-in process was smooth and we were given a surprise “vegan cake” for our anniversary as soon as we went to the room.
    All the amenities are top quality and the housekeeping service was very quick to respond.
    Special mention to the hotel staff “Dena” who helped us show the way out to the bus stop as we had a hard time locating it. She walked us through the exit and made sure we were at the right place. Kudos
    The hospitality industry is very competitive and it’s the service quality of the Hotel’s staff which sets them apart. Ritz Carlton lives up to the expectations.
    Great experience and would love to stay there again. Definitely recommend!!

    Huge hotel and well managed by the staff. Rooms are nice, clean and large. You will either get the MBS view or the Benjamin Sheares Bridge. Had the breakfast at The Colony. Quite a good selection. Located conveniently near various malls like the Millenia Walk, Marina Square, Suntec City, the Esplanade and all linked till Raffles City.

    Very average for $700 a night. No TV for 24 hrs and don’t expect anyone to answer the phone. Service is terrible, we waited 30 mins for luggage to arrive on check in. Only redemption is breakfast

    Super mind-blowing night view from our deluxe marina room!(Also amazing in the daytime!)
    We stayed here for 3 nights from August 28th to 31st, and all the staffs were very very polite, friendly and helpful!
    I want to thank Nia Masinta so much for being very thoughtful, considerate and even writing us a letter welcoming us, which is super sweet!
    All in all, everything was perfect during our stay and we’ll definitely stay here again next time we come to Singapore!

    Our stay at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia
    Singapore was once again nothing short of perfection. Coming back here again after 8 months and despite the much higher occupancy rate in comparison to my previous visit, the staff truly
    did not disappoint. The renowned personalised service of the Ritz-Carlton brand echoed through every aspect of our stay.
    Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted by Mahesh who then immediately ushered us to the Club Lounge at Level 32 for the check-in. Mahesh then handed us over to the very warm and dedicated Club Lounge team of Ladies and Gentlemen under the leadership of Javier. The check-in process was well taken care of by the professionalism of Javier while my mum and I enjoyed the mid-day snack against the magnificent backdrop of the Marina Bay view. The very lovely Michelle attended to our every need and helped us take some nice photos. Shortly after, Mahesh also came back up to check on us and if we were happy with the room. These are the little gesture and attention to details that makes the biggest difference. Along the way, we got to know Hamzah, Dhian and a few other of the Club Lounge Ladies and Gentlemen. The entire Club Lounge team upheld the highest standards of service and we really enjoyed our time engaging with them! Please convey our gratitude and appreciation to the team, especially Michelle and Hamzah who always took the time to check on us and were always so generous with their warmth and hospitality.     it was fantastic, the hotel management they was awesome and the food was up to standard. My family and loved the pool management crew, he helped us bring the towels and helped to move the seats so I could sit with my family. I also loved the room, it was spacious and big, unfortunately the floorboards were quick sqeaky and slippery so I sometimes almost fell.     This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in Singapore! I cannot rate them less! It’s such a horrible experience, I had to check out 2 hours after I checked in!

    I arrived around 11 and they checked me in for a twin bed room despite I booked for a king size one bed room, claiming that the they only have this room left! So when I arrived, the room is far below my expectation! The room seems super old and the the bed is right next to a mirror! I told them I have Eisoptrophobia (I’m scared of mirrors) and I am mentally not able to sleep next to a mirror.

    it’s impossible to get to the conceirge for over 45 min and front desk had to send someone to check which did not help with the issue at all. The guy told me over the phone that ALL of their rooms has a bed next to a mirror, but then the next person came on the call told me the opposite and said they will look for another room for me!

    I waited for almost two hours of back and forth calls for them to tell me they have no other rooms and I have to find another hotel!

    Bear in mind I had a 13 hour flight before checking in, and I’ve been telling them about my situation! Their attitude was always helpful and nice, but they did not resolve my problem!

    When I was checking out, the reception had the nerve to say that he tried to accommodate to check me in early when I arrived and ‘it’s not that we are not trying to help!’ Literally his words quoted! He was trying to charge me cancellation fee even! When a customer did nothing wrong and was not happy with their room! hakim kindly told him that no cancellation fee needs to be charged and then he gave up!

    His name was too long to remember but he works in the middle desk between 11-1 on 5th September!

    I could not believe after all of what I’ve gone through they were trying to charge me cancellation fee! And was acting they gave me a huge favour after they decided not to charge me for that! It’s such a joke!

    had the most amazing time there.

    the hotel facilities are simple yet feel like luxury, from the pool to the spa and the overall hotel space.
    the room had boasting views on the entire Marina Bay (perfect to see the light show). the bed mattress felt like a cloud and the bathtub was of course the highlight of it all!
    also had the club level access (which you MUST get should you want to stay within the hotel during your entire stay, definitely worth it with free flow drinks and food). not to mention the staff was absolutely lovely and engaging.

    From the moment you step into their lobby you will be acknowledged by their warm greetings and ushered by their staff to the Reception, welcomed with a cold towel and a refreshing drink.
    Checked-in was very smooth with their polite staff.
    The view from the room was spectacular and as well in the bathroom also.
    Requested for a late checked-in and gladly they granted.
    The best hotel and service that i’ve been too so far, service at its finest.

    Our flight got canceled last minute and it was out of our control to arrive on time in Singapore. It’s a 17 hours flight and we can’t possible be over there if it’s canceled.
    We called the hotel through our travel service and the hotel refused to accommodate us and insists on charging us for one night. Travelers please be aware of this hotel when travel. Usually Five Star hotels should accommodate their clients but apparently not this one

    Second time visiting Ritz Carlton Millenia.

    Firstly, highly recommend you guys to download Marriott Bonvoy App, reason being it will much time when checking in and out. Not only you can book/cancel any hotel under Marriott. Nearer to you stay they will remind you and you can set estimated time of arriving the hotel and you can also request room/bathroom amenities such as extra pillow or shampoo ect, you can chat the concierge and see your bill too.

    The first time I didn’t download the app, but second time I did so as compare everything was rather smooth and fast. One thing to highlight the staffs were all very professional and polite, from the moment I step enter from lobby, they guild me to the counter for check in. Not all 5* hotel had such.

    On my visit in Feb for my bday celebration (sat-sun), I requested check in time at 145pm, and I was there at 130pm to see my luck, surprisingly the room was ready and after payment and booking of the book and spa facility, at 152pm I’m in the room already. Everything was super fast fuse.

    Entering the room was the signature magnificent panoramic city views welcoming me and a small cake and some small dessert along with a bday card from the hotel nicely place on the table with a lip covering it.
    The bath room were Amazing and was my favorite of ALL. Access Netflix and YouTube available on TV.

    Spa facilities such as jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were available for guest, first come first serve and booking require. Upon check in you may check the availability with the staffs and book the timing accordingly.
    locker and bathroom, hairdryer and other essential everything that should be here is here! Super relax.

    Before my stay I’ve difficulty booking Colony restaurant via call or email, so I chat ritz via Instagram if they could help me to make a reservations as I’m staying with ritz and wanted to have dinner at colony and they replied and inform the restaurant will contact me and they call next day. Super helpful and I appreciate.

    Its a 5 star hotel so I expected 5 star standard. Sadly it was up to expectation.

    Check in was 2 hours late. After numerous calls. I reached the hotel at 3pm and only got my room at 5pm. I understand u hav high influx but that shldnt be the customer’s problem. Qs it is we did not get any perks like early check in our late check out, bt even the normal check in was not met.

    And they did not hav any corrective action to rectify when i asked what was my perk for loosing 2 hrs. Its only after i mentioned then they offered me $120 hotel credits. Which is pointless bcos we knoe how expensive in room dining is.

    When i called to order in room, they shocked me that there was a $5 delivery charge. When u enquired at the front desk, they said no such thing. Bt they did not clarify wit their inroom colleague. Instead they jus transferred my call bac to them directly. When i qn the in room again as to why there is a delivery charge when u r in room service delivering from the hotel to the room, he immediately changed tune ane said he will waive the delivery charge. Ridiculous.

    Waiting time was horrible.
    We had to call different number for different services and if u called a 1 stop number, they didnt know and wld jus transfer u back to another number and we had to repeat our request all over again. Service was super slow. Waiting for bottled water or towels exchange was smtimes more than an hour. And they are still using plastic bottles, wastage. Change to glass bottles.

    Room was nice but i did spot speaks of dust thru the toilet sink etc. Breakfast was ok. Swimming pool was accessible.

    My husband and I had booked 4 rooms with Ritz Carlton for ourselves and guests as we held our lunch solemnisation at The Colony restaurant on 3 Sep.
    Prior to the actual day, in fact, since around Apr 2022, we had requested for connecting guest rooms (as our parents will need to help look after their grandchildren) and also for the 3 guests rooms to be situated on the same floor. When we went down a few days earlier to do the pre-payment for all rooms, we had checked and tripled checked with the concierge staff Kodai (?) that our requests had been noted down and that they can be acceded to, to which he had confirmed. Again, when we checked-in on 2 Sep for one the booked rooms, we confirmed with Kayla that there will be connecting rooms provided, to which the she had confirmed again.
    Imagine our horror on 3 Sep, after our lunch solemnisation had ended, and we found out that all the rooms were delayed, including our own bridal suite. It was a horrible experience, having to wait around in our suit and gown, and even more embarrassing when our guests were left stranded waiting in the lobby for their rooms. Our bridal suite was only ready at 4.30pm, and one of the guest rooms was only ready at 5pm! Needless to say, none of the above requests that we had put in (and confirmed time and again with the concierge) was met as well. The rooms that had needed to be connected, were separated, and the rooms were located on different floors. It was a nightmare coordinating traveling between floors, for seniors and toddlers. This fiasco was very puzzling to us as well, as it was clear when we checked in on 2 Sep, that the room we gotten was meant to be a connecting room and it was assumed that the other room would simply be next door.
    Service recovery from the team was also poor. In fact, there wasn’t any service recovery offered, until my husband and I had to go to the counter to explain the situation in the evening after we finally had a chance to rest and settle in the rooms. It was ridiculous that the initial solution provided by the team when we shared the difficulty of the lack of connecting rooms was to provide a shared access card between floors. It was not much use to our guests by then as they were already checking out the next day.
    For the rooms, all our guests shared that they had problems with the TV, and we faced the same issues as well. The carpets did not seem very clean as well.
    Overall, it was really a horrible and disappointing experience, from checking-in, to the rooms itself. Perhaps we expected too much given that Ritz-Carlton is a 5-star hotel. The only silver lining for us is that we had Alfian and his team from the Colony restaurant providing us stellar service. While we had a great experience working with the Colony team, we really can’t say the same for the hotel reservation side.
    Really, a bad bad experience.

    Received excellent services from Ritz staffs. Nice and and clean room. Peaceful staycation with nice soak in bathtub. Convenient link to nearby malls (Millenia, Marina Square and Suntec). Closest mrt promenade, and esplanade also within walking distance. Just that the aircon really not cold as I am still sweating during the night, most probably blanket too thick for current Singapore weather ; so you can expect I’m doing cold water soak bath. My room is facing Kallang

    Great location by MBS. Gym was amazing. Staff really friendly. Would stay here again for sure.
    As you drive up, the curb appeal for the resort isn’t really there – don’t let that fool you, once you drive up the lane way the elegance is unmistakable.

    Diane – the Resort Host was really friendly on arrival, escorted us to the Reception Desk and then provided information while we queued.

    Ericka – our Reception L&G provided a warm welcome and a seamless arrival experience.

    Our Turndown Attendant (didn’t get her name) was very kind as well. Stupidly forgot to put our room key in the electrical activation plug and she assisted us. We requested some additional amenities via the amenity card and they were left during evening service.

    Room was well appointed with Asprey amenities – couldn’t have asked for anything more.

    I had the privilege to visit this establishment for my 2nd anniversary celebration with my girlfriend and was blown away by the service rendered to us by Jithra (handled our little hiccup like a champ), Hamzah (for making sure we were comfortable throughout), their respective teams and all employees of The Ritz-Carlton group!
    We have had the opportunity to visit other renowned hotels but this hotel is a level above the rest!

    Had an amazing but belated birthday afternoon tea and the service was exceptional throughout, from the time I walked through the main doors to the time my car arrived. I did not stay at this hotel but I was treated like a valued guest regardless. I was attended to quickly by the concierge team (more about them later) and was very well looked after at Colony. The actual afternoon tea was delicious, I loved the tiffin cake stand and the regional culinary nods (pandan!). Normally I hate scones, but these were yummy and I could have had four more. Be warned, everything is very rich x 10,000. I went on a five mile walk after and I’m still full. The winners for me were the savoury treats, an absolute triumph of flavour and texture. As for the concierge team, what can I say? I was struggling to access the 3D element of the augmented reality art tour so the chief concierge stepped in to show me around so I could enjoy it. Thank you so much to Adam, Lina and Kit. I will get a proper phone for next time I promise!

    This is a hotel stay review at the Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore.
    We spent two nights there at the beginning of December 2022.
    We booked a one bedroom suite , marina bay view with lounge access.
    Check-in: We were impressed with private check-in at Lounge level which was fast and efficient.
    Room: While the room was clean and spacious with panoramic view of Marina Bay, but it lacks of art work and decorative objects. It leave the room with monotone feeling with mostly light brown colored Burl wood furniture. Bathroom amenity is nice. Electronic outlets are slightly outdated. There is no bluetooth speaker to connect music from your phone. You will need to connect to the TV as speaker which I found requiring extra steps and the TV always blasted loud music once we turn on with the remote control.
    Service: Overall was good, friendly and professional. But for Ritz Carton, I would expect more for the level of anticipation of guest’s need as they indicated in their Three Steps Of Service in their Gold Standards. Breakfast at lounge access lack of attentiveness. Did not ask what we want for coffee or tea when seated. No-one came to take the used plates from our table for long period of time even we tried to make eye contact with the dining room staff. Second morning have some miscommunication with staff with where to sit.
    We stayed Four Seasons in Chiang Mai earlier during this trip. So we could really compare the level of attentiveness. I would rather go with Four Seasons.

    Superb hotel that scores top notch on every aspect. Many carefully done improvements make it a breeze to have a working week.

    There are rough spots though, the in room dining is way below the standards one may expect for this place. The lobby can use better seating for impromptu meetings.

    There are multiple calls during the day to stock things but it gets a little distracting.

    Great Gym open 24hours, fitness lovers happy.

    Quite disappointing for a 5-star hotel. We stayed in May 2022 with my husband and 6-month old daughter. The service was disappointing from the start. We had club access and nobody told us that we could go check in at the club. We only found out after waiting in line at check-in & it was quite busy. For a family friendly hotel, they were not accommodating on helping me get the my own baby monitor set up when it was not an issue when we previously stayed at Raffles. The only thing that saved this hotel from not receiving a lower review was the service at the club. The club saved the day with their service & hospitality. I personally would not stay here again.

    My entire stay at the Ritz was mint. It’s now one of my most memorable hotel stays ever because it contributed in making my entire holiday a bloody amazing one. From the staff and amenities to the architectural designs, inside-out. Oh and the views! I couldn’t fault the hotel if I tried. I want to give a special shout-out to the following staff members… While everyone at the Ritz I dealt with were cream of the crop in terms of customer service (no exaggeration here), these three, ugh ️ where do I start? I felt like they were my friends. Essentially, an establishment’s secret weapon. Thank you to Lina at the front desk; Zawani at the day spa; Lorenzo at pool service and at the day spa. They were friendly, funny, personable and most helpful. They really made the experience at the Ritz one to remember happily about. I can’t wait to be back!

    Firstly, they have the name wronged and its quite clear on the inefficiency of their service.

    Confirmation was given on connecting rooms not once but twice yet they did not fulfil. Out of 4 rooms only 1 was checked in punctually and the rest were all late and I meant super late! With the latest at almost 5pm.

    Your staff even defended saying they called my room but no one answer which was extremely ridiculous as I had explicitly informed to call my mobile as we were having our wedding event at Colony. And why would you even call the room when I don’t even have the room key yet?

    The entire check in process is by far the worst I had ever experienced. A 2 star hotel can do much better than you. Can you imagine the bride and groom was waiting before the start of their lunch time solemnisation till all the guests have left and the rooms were still not ready till 5pm.

    Coming to the room. Your sheets were not properly fitted, your tv is literally unwatchable due to extremely bad reception or connectivity and when we requested for house keeping, no one came.

    You didn’t even bother to do service recovery till the bride and groom have to make a fuse and you have the audacity to just offer f&b credits for 2 rooms when all 4 rooms were affected.

    Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore are you sure you are a 5-star Hotel? This is an extremely horrible experience.

    That being said, the manager at Colony Mr. Alfian is the only spark for our entire family and he went far and beyond for the solemnisation including trying his best to put good words for his colleagues for the Reservation Team when he realised we were all extremely frustrated.

    We will definitely go back to Colony, but to stay at Ritz Carlton, I rather not waste time and money.

    An extremely luxurious and beautiful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived at the hotel we felt we stepped into a different world. The room was extremely spacious and had breathtaking views of the marina bay skyline. The bed was extremely comfortable and felt like we could sleep in all day if we wanted to. The food at the colony for breakfast was excellent and had quite the variety to choose from!

    I’d like to really call out a few individuals who made our stay even more comfortable and memorable.

    Mei from the front desk who made our stay very enjoyable by having a conversation with us about the purpose of our trip and then writing and sending a hand written note with a box of truffles to our room. Upon checkout she heard about some of the issues we had with our experience and took it upon herself to make up for it by booking an airport transfer for us and waiving some food charges we had due to a negative experience. THANK YOU so so much for making our honeymoon memorable. You made this a true Ritz experience.

    Ajay from the Colony for warm hospitality during breakfast and going out of his way to have a conversation with us even though he wasn’t assigned to our table area. Those small gestures really make a difference.

    Finally Chef Sundar from The colony for making my wife and I fresh dosas on request and making the food extremely fresh. Typically during a breakfast buffet we eat what’s available but chef Sundar came to our table to make something for us which isn’t on the menu just to make our experience even better.

    Thank you for a memorable and beautiful stay would definitely love to come back when we visit Singapore in the future.

    Were our expectation too high or has service level deteriorate marketly since our last visit? I am celebrating my birthday and so decided to book a 2 nights stay at the club access room since we had a great stay last Jan.

    While liasing with the hotel before our stay, I do see the vast differences. Email sent were standard template replies. I requested to have a dining menu of the lounge due to dietary restrictions but was declined.

    During my last stay, the ladies and gentlemen from the club lounge made us feel so at home. They emailed me in advance and requested for a photo of my spouse and I. They even made us a personalised menu which they presented to us when we visited the lounge. (I did not even request for the menu that time)

    The atmosphere at the lounge is so different from last time we were here. Service were prompt and lively then
    I am apalled at the service this time. No one acknowledged us when we walked into the lounge. Not even a hello! The staff noted that we were walking around looking for a table but no help was offered so we went ahead and helped ourselves. I guess with more tourists visiting the hotel, we became the last priority. The ladies and gentlemen do make an effort to check on them at their tables and even to say goodbye to them when their shift ended. We have been seated here for the past 1.5 hour but none came to speak to us except once to check if they got our order for the beverages right.

    Such wasn’t the service I was expecting at Ritz-Carlton. Out of convenience, we have put in the request for late check out as 11 of us are having dinner at Colony. We appreciate the good gesture and out of goodwill, they did extend our check out time. I couldn’t comprehend the rationale for requesting us to check out earlier then wait for another 2 hours at the lounge till our dinner at colony. The timing seemed off, if they have someone else coming in after us. Then if the room is empty, why not extend the gesture of goodwill till the dinner and leave us good memories of this stay and happy returning guests.

    The request put in for late check out was something that the Front Office did so willingly for us on our last stay.

    We haven’t seen our room yet but we are not expecting any service recovery at the club level. Just looking forward to our dinner at Colony. The restaurant manager Mr Firdaus would never fail to impress us with his personable and attentive service despite our regular monthly visits.

    Went to Republic bar for the afternooon tea and I must say the variety of food is amazing! There is just so much and we can’t finish them! I have indicated anniversary in my booking and they generously serve us a cake along with it. Service by Dunstan Chen is superb. He is very friendly and welcoming. He will constantly check around to see how we are doing. Grateful to be served by Dunstan Chen. He even offered comlimenary cappuccino to us and provide packaging for our takeaways when we didn’t initiate. Truly a wonderful experience at Republic bar. Thank you so much!

    Hotel service is super slow. Check in lines were backed up and it took us over 45 min to check in.

    That night we couldn’t get hot water to the shower and they sent up a super. He got the water warm and seemed irritated we called him up. My husband took a shower after i took my cold one just to find it still lukewarm. The next morning, the water was still lukewarm then finally became hot about an hour after we got up. I finally found out the hot water pump was broken the night before.
    The super acted like we were crazy when we told him the water wasn’t hot.

    Line for breakfast was 15-20 people deep. Not sure where the backup was but when we got to the front, there was plenty of seating available.

    Now, I’ve been on hold with the phone being transferred and ringing repeatedly for over 10 min trying to get through to concierge.

    Views are amazing but for 700+ a night, I expected a lot more!

    The check-in was a very long process, but at least they had some snacks provided. The room was very nice although we didn’t have consistent turn down service on our stay. The breakfast buffet was amazing, which we always looked forward to every morning. The hotel bar was out of this world. They had friendly and great selection of themed cocktails.

    I had a magnificent and memorable stay with a few friends at the Ritz Carlton. The service was impeccable and the attention to detail was on point with no disappointment. The staff in the club lounge did their best to serve us to allow us to have a memorable experience. I would like to commend Ryan, Audrey and Lingesh for the excellent service as service crew in the club lounge.

    They have made the stay a memorable one with the 5 meal presentation all day. It was lovely. I would be back there again..

    This is the fantastic Ritz Carlton club lounge on level 32 of the hotel. Amazing views over Marina Bay, with many describing this as the best hotel club lounge in all of Asia. Extraordinary selection of food and drinks at pretty much any time of the day, including afternoon high tea, with evenings the highlight including fantastic cocktails. Five star service all the way, with the club also open to non-hotel guests for a fee. Well done to all the Ritz Carlton club staff for a fantastic experience!

    Simply outstanding.

    One of the best hotels in Singapore. Staff at check in are friendly and helpful. The rooms are amazing. Very spacious and extremely comfortable. The bathroom has both a shower (lots of hot water and very powerful shower head, there is a rainfall shower too if you prefer) and a delightful bath next to a window with views over the city, but perhaps use the powered blind unless you are into exhibitionism. The bed is very comfortable and linens impeccably clean. It’s the attention to detail that makes the room though, bath salts, umbrella to pre empt Singapore’s fickle weather, light switches that allow for scenes…

    For working the room is fine, large desk, easy access to power outlets, WiFi 6 connectivity was fast and mostly stable.

    Only slight negatives with the room, single basin in the bathroom might not be the most efficient if staying as a couple. The lack of an office style chair at the desk was also an oversight that business travellers will have come to expect from hotels in this price range.

    The food and drink is excellent. I only tried Colony for breakfast but the selection was amongst the best I have ever seen. Staff in the restaurant were attentive although on one occasion I had my table cleared before I had finished.

    Room and laundry services were excellent. The evening turn down service was nice. I loved the book marks they left on the nightstand featuring an introduction to a piece of the hotel’s artworks, very cute.

    Location wise the hotel is very convenient, Marina Bay Sands is a short walk, as are Millennia Walk and Suntec City. It’s also not far from the business district. 20 minute walk if weather permits but otherwise 10 minutes in a taxi factoring in the heavy traffic around that area in the morning.

    Highly recommended and would definitely stay here next time I am visiting Singapore. I stayed during a business trip rather than leisure travel and views above should be considered in light of this.

    Christmas ruined by the Ritz Carlton team.
    Upon check-in, the team negligently charged my Credit Card multiple times, & would not claim responsibility. I spent all of Christmas Eve on the phone trying to dispute +$12k AUD of credit card charges & resolve their mistake with my provider. Missed out on previous family time; & had to miss some of our booked activities. For how they market themselves, & the rates charged, I found their team to be extremely lacking in basic customer service skills or empathy. Would suggest you look at the wide range of other premium accomodation options in Singapore before you consider staying here.

    The good:
    – Staff were friendly over our 2-nights stay (8-10 August 2022)
    – Living room and toilet are of a decent size in Grand Marina room with ample walking space
    – RC provided a 100g cake for my parents’ wedding anniversary and a complimentary NDP snack box for each room

    What could have been improved:
    – Live TV had terrible connection, was showing static 80% of the time.
    – Was especially disappointed as my request for high floor was not fulfilled. The first time the request was made was in my reservation (April 2022), and a second time was during check-in on 8 Aug at 12pm. Despite the emphasised request, staff could only reply that it was based on availability and I was eventually assigned to the 10th floor at 3pm. This was the lowest floor out of the room range which I paid for (Grand Marina room was available from 10th to 22nd floor).

    While the room itself was comfortable and housekeeping staff was friendly, for the high price point for the stay, I expected a little better of the service and quality

    Overall hotel is elegant – I felt luxury once stepped inside the room and you know that’s important for this type of hotel, especially as one of the best in Singapore.

    I enjoyed the view from the room facing Marina Bay. The interior was very spacious, I especially liked the design of the bathroom & the tub. Amenities were top rank, good stuff. Staff service was superb too. The bed was excellent. I enjoyed my sleep after a long day of sitting and meeting.

    The breakfast spread has western, asian, fusion, salads etc. There’re also plenty good food & drinks choices. The gym has complete equipments. The in-room dining menu is limited and the food is a bit on the expensive side.

    In conclusion I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you for the experience!

    My family and friend had the most wonderful stay at Ritz Carlton Millenia over the long weekend. It was our 4th staycation and we experienced the same heartwarming welcome as always. We are always impressed by how we are greeted right from the moment we step through the doors on the 3rd floor and are immediately directed to the Club lounge for one of the best check-in experience–seated on the highest floor of the hotel with one of the most gorgeous views of Singapore, while being served a drink of your choice.

    All of the service staff in the Club Lounge are always friendly and they serve all the guests with great sincerity. I truly commend their level of service and I think it is a credit to the hotel’s management that they have retained such a fantastic group of people.

    During this stay, we got acquainted with the Chefs who were running the hot stations in the Club Lounge and we had a great time interacting with them. I would like to commend Chef Sundar and Chef Alex.

    Chef Sundar is a super friendly, humorous and talented chef who shared with me the techniques of cooking the perfect scrambled eggs and soft boiled eggs. Throughout our stay, I saw how he well he took care of all the guests by preparing some of the foods to their specifications and also by the jovial way the guests spoke with him when he served them their food. Our experience at the Club Lounge was really special this time because of the happy vibes and good food provided by Chef Sundar. He really epitomises the Ritz Carlton brand of service.

    We met Chef Alex when he was running the hot station for the evening food presentations and found out that he had just joined the hotel. He made suggestions on how to prepare some of the foods for my daughter when I mentioned that I wanted to get only certain ingredients of the dish for her. We also felt very well taken care of by Chef Alex.

    The room that we stayed in was amazing and the housekeeping staff was another amazing team that provided a wonderful service. Our room was clean and they even remembered some of our requests even though we had only asked once; for example, we asked for a number of bottles of water and they automatically provided it the following day when they saw that we had run out, even though we didn’t ask for it. It was details like this and many others that we experienced throughout our stay that makes Ritz Carlton our favourite staycation hotel.

    With the newly renovated, the hotel lobby and check in area is a much more welcoming place to step into. The hotel’s gem is in their staff, with their warm welcomes, especially Erica who kindly walked me to the check in area. Christine was professional and helpful during the check in process. Seana was also a bubbly and friendly presence to have at the pool. They generously sent some desserts during my birthday celebrations.

    Unfortunately, this does not hide the fact that it is an ageing hotel where maintenance is much needed as cracks and water stains were found around the lovely bay window.

    DONT EVER STAY HERE!!!! i repeat do not ever even think about staying here…
    As if my stay was not bad enough, I was charged twice the bill once at the time of booking (so called deposit) and another time at the hotel.
    After recognising that the deposit was never released back to me, i called the hotel several times and they didn’t even want to help me. In the end, my credit card was charged almost 8000 sgd for 4 nights at the Ritz, instead of 4000sgd like i had expected. Still desperately looking for some help now but I’m quite sure it’s $4k I never see again. Feels like being robbed by the Ritz, what a joke!

    Great experience from check-in on. The staff in the bar was exceptional. Oliva, Ji and Ryan. They were fun to interact with and made very cool cocktails. The location is great, we were able to walk to many different attractions.
