Bakery sells fresh bread and pastries, a good place to pick up a quick breakfast. The supermarket also sells a range of cheese, cold cuts, and wine.
Great place for a coffee or bite to eat. Conveniently located .
Came here a couple of times for business coffee chats. Good atmosphere and calming decor, with a fair selection of hot and cold beverages, but the noise level in the cafe varies from time to time.
A cafe restaurant with a stylish sofa table and a full menu. Bread is famous and I got Eggs Benedict of the signboard menu.
Overall a good price but I feel good in the morning.
All style, no substance.
– No matter how much you spend, you can’t get a glass of tap water (petty money making)
– parties are not exquisite as they say but quite stodgy
– service not even close
Middle-of-the-road. One can do way better.
Amazing service and wines. Definitely a go to place after work and they genuinely recommend you wines for your preference without a hard sell! Would definitely come again
Been dine-in at this outlet at least 2 times. Simply love their wide range of cheese. If you are the cheese lover, you will like this place. Another outlet whereby view is pretty to be dine-in at their patio – Mandarin Gallery.
A nice place to catch up with friends, food and dessert are delicious! Just that there are live band playing and in shop BGM via their shop speakers playing together which is kind of loud, thus there is a conflict of music from two different source making it very hard to talk or even hear friends talking due to the mixture of music playing quite loudly. Suggestion: If there live band, off the shop own BGM or reduce the volume.
Nice place but they are blasting Bollywood songs the whole afternoon. Can hardly talk above the din. This is Christmas it would have been nice to have some nice Christmas carols to set the mood.
I revisited and I don’t think it is fair to give them a bad review over choice of music. It is overall a very nice place to hangout on a weekend.
As spoken, please adjust your shopify invoicing address for self collection.
Nice place to chill.. not too crowded on wkends
Beautiful space to start and not only able to dine there, you will be able to purchase some produce. Had brunch, portion is huge and price is slightly above average. Overall it’s nice and quiet space to catch up with friends over meal. The team is obviously lack of Manning, do give them some time before they actually answer to your queries/ order.
I find this place very suitable for quiet breakfast or to chill with a cuppa on the weekends. Its tucked in the basement but it gives me a sense of tranquility and space to zone out and relax. The long black is good but I was not able to purchase the coffee powder that was used to brew the coffee. Nonetheless its my go to place for a quiet weekend.
Good service, tasty good-quality food at average rates for the area.
Coffee is on point at this location – You can order a Large size for an extra $1 which was a nice option.
The Smashed Avo was delicious, generously portioned and washed down nicely with their Flat White.
I would come back for Brunch/Lunch!
i went to Providore at OUE Downtown on 17 May 2018.
Location: it is located at basement 1 of the OUE Downtown building. Pretty accessible and convenient.
Ambiance: actually it is quite cosy and could be romantic if it is in the evenings due to less crowd. Lunches is okay as there are more crowds. I saw they have cooking classes so it may be good idea if the couple can sign up for cooking class together. It is a nice dating idea!
Food: I ordered the club sandwich that was pretty nice and filling. They had avocado and chicken and egg. The drink I ordered was the pineapple mint pressed juice that was refreshing.
Price: The price is more on the high side. I think that this is more a “coffee shop” place than a high class western cuisine restaurant so the price offered is skewed towards the expensive.
Overall: if you are looking for a corporate meal, it is a good place to go. If you are looking for a cosy corner in the evening for a chat, it is a good idea too in the business district. If you are looking for a romantic night out, it’d be nice for a one off date.
Expensive
Always come to the bakery which is nice.
A little hidden gem underground. Yummy montblanc cake, pretty housewares to look at before a quiet afternoon tea.
Came here for lunch on Friday and it was great. We ordered the sandwiches and they are absolutely delicious. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, really suitable for big groups. It is also quiet, great for conversations.
You can make reservations through their official website. Cashless payments accepted.
I’ll definitely visit this place again.
Food presentation was nice but taste and texture could be improved.
We made a gentle request to the waiter to serve our food as fast as possible as we had to rush to our next appointment. We followed up a few times and even after it appeared that our food was ready in the kitchen, our repeated request was ignored. By the 5th time, our food was finally served and both sandwich and burger were cold. The fries were even shrivelled. For this, you lose 3 stars. A restaurant should not be just about good food but also about good service too. The management needs to hire more waiters or roll their sleeves themselves.
One of the best pressed juice ever had
Looks pretty but it’s basically just another wannabe “lifestyle” place. So all the visual elements are present and correct, but the food is very average, and it charges like it’s made the big time already. For example, coffee comes just warm enough to be drinkable but not really hot enough. Avocado toast isn’t really toasted, so the bread isn’t very crisp and everything ends up a bit mushy.
Four of us had lunch at the Providore Downtown and the service was terrible and food was worse. I had the lobster Mac & Cheese. The Mac & Cheese was watery and bland and at $27 way overpriced. Not worth it at all..
Love the risotto ️
Really nice place but expensive and mediocre food. Also only premium sustainable water is available, at 2$ (free flow).
Great dining experience on a weekday dinner. The maple basque cheesecake is a must try. Their mains were well executed as well! Overall quiet environment with great service.
Food was decently edible however not worth it for the price , ordered the lobster Mac and cheese a nd the pappardelle pasta and found both to be quite underwhelming for $28 each
A good place for afternoon tea or breakfast. The food selection is wide, it tastes good and the different sections of the related shop (cheese room, anyone) have some treats for foodies.
My regular favorite place
Outstanding service! Gentle, unhurried ambiance!
Working friendly cafe, provide charger and wifi, no time limitations. Had good food and good coffee. The pricing a bit high, but the quality is good. I like to working or handout with my friends here.
The only problem is they are not only cafe, as you can see, you can have alcohol, bread, cakes, cheeses, meat, groceries…here. Make sure you can control yourself, not spending too much many here!
A coffee shop suitable for work, providing internet and sockets, unlimited hours. Food and drinks are great, but a little pricey. I like to work here or hang out with friends. The only thing to worry about is that you can see from the photos that they are not just cafes, they also sell wine, cakes, bread, cheese, meat, and all kinds of groceries, please be careful with your wallet!
yummy cakes one of the best in town
nice place but food are a but pricey.
There are cafes, restaurants and gifts.
Cooking class too! !
A restaurant you should visit once! !
Got the ham and cheese sandwich and club sandwich .
Club sandwich was a tower stacked with load of
Ingredients. Highly recommended!
Delicious cuisine with great coffee.
Downtown gallery overall looks like a hipster brother to the CBD counterparts, and The Providore fits right in at the basement. The food, wines and cheese offerings are very much en pointe, albeit a little pricier. They don’t do service fee if you’re taking away, and feel free to find a space around the place to just sit around and have your takeout, you won’t be chased away unnecessarily.
My absolute favourite that I was blown away by is the cheese room, and the dessert bar. There’s not many places in Singapore that keeps their cheese refrigerated in a room, and has their cheeses displayed the way they do it. Super impressive and super lovely shopping and dining experience! Their strawberry cheesecake is out of this world if you manage to get hold of it. Pasta wise, their crab linguine and ragu pasta are also really good! Definitely worthy of a Friday evening hangout.
Brunch here always makes me misses Gaest even more for better quality food & good coffee. Food is expensive, lukewarm when it’s served, acidic coffee and for the price you pay, you don’t even get French butter.
Not a place to come if food is your priority. Had the slow cooked braised beef ragout fettuccine but unfortunately the pasta was undercooked and tasteless. The beef was very average as well.
Otherwise, decent place with loads of space to chill and do your work on a weekday.
Food is just OK, but the architecture of the building worth to visit!
Good food but a bit expensive for what it is. The cheese platter is great but don’t know why not in the menu. The place is beautiful et there is enough space between tables to be able to speak discretely.
Another wannabe place for wannabe folks. The coffee is a terrible Robusta blend. The recommended dish was prawns with avacado on a sourdough- how can such a dish have unshelled prawns hidden under all that foliage?
The 3 stars are all for the service staff who were amazing. However, if you are going there for food, give it a miss! You won’t regret it!
Very convenient for a post-workout meal due to its proximity from various gyms. I love that it’s tucked away at the basement and has a quiet tranquility to it. I always look forward to my me-time here! High price point though quality of food is generally good – I guess we are paying for the CBD rental too.
I truly appreciate the flexibility that they offer here at the outlet. They occupy most of the basement level, and has different counters serving different things. I’m especially impressed by their cheese room, where it’s a refrigerated room that sells many variants of cheeses from different locations. Couple this with the wine corner (that has self service wine glasses), you know it’s gonna be a good night out. If you’re unsure what you want to eat (because there’s pizza, pasta, salads, etc all from different places), do some takeaways and sit at any one of their tables, and you’ll be perfectly alright; there’s even no service charge for taking away!
Ordered a coffee. Took 10 minutes to make it, and it was after I reminded the staff about it
Not worth the money. Food wasn’t good, bacon very tough
Staffs are friendly and helpful, food is good though just slightly on the pricier side but acceptable for its taste and portion. Love the beef ribeye steak sandwich, it was incredible for its flavour and satisfying totally.
Eggs Benedict were super shiok too, feeling the sauce, protein and greens. Quite a chill and relaxing place for catching up with old friends. Some things to shop around after visiting the restaurant within the area too.
$2 for their Nordic filtered water though.
Guy in black attire with specs (the manager? ) Talks in a rude manner- consistent with other reviews here. I was standing there in a half empty restaurant waiting for a table, with him just standing next to me.But he simply continued to do his own thing at the counter, until his colleague came over.
Soured the visit for me as the Other service staff and food was good
Did not try the restaurant but the provision shop is stocked with interesting items for the home. Interesting wines and spirits from around the world too so you can always try something new and exciting. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
Fantastic breads, deli meats and cheeses. Good selection of wines too and lovely coffee.
Nice place for a breakfast or post-breakfast meet. Not yet discovered by Shenton Way workers.
Location is easy to find when in the CBD, though it’s not a must go to place, lacking in quality more standard than other cafes, same blend of coffee from other shops, Toast and jam expensive. Would not be a must to repeat the experience again
Fantastic interior ambience in the middle of town. Had Chai Latte and it was good. Gorgeous green wall.
Pretty good lobster mac and cheese. Staff were accommodating and friendly despite us being late for our reservation, and arriving just before last order. Thanks!
I have been ordering a few grabmart deliveries for cheese here and always pleasantly surprised by the selection.
located at UOE Downtown Gallery, the restaurant served delicious lobster mac and cheese . Service was good despite they have limited staff attending to customer.
I can here for lunch with some colleagues the other day. They have a huge space in OUE, which is good and bad. Much of it is dedicated to a store rather than the restaurant and, without no shoppers, the restaurant customers are basically paying the rent for all that wasted space. The menu is diverse but the dishes tend to be quite pricey for what you’re getting, really to the point where I’m giving them a two-star rating overall. The food isn’t bad but could be a little better, and for what you’re paying, it just doesn’t make much sense. There are a lot of little annoyances. For example, who wants to pick up a sandwich that has the outside covered in butter? It just gets all over your fingers. And the vegetarian pasta has a lot of ricotta but not much veg, inexcusable when you consider what you’re paying for it. The cakes look nice but the taste is rather average. All their drinks are grossly overpriced. Overall, I’m inclined to say you should give it a miss.
It occupies most of the basement. The service can be slow in the evenings when it gets crowded
The ambient is comfortable and the staff services are attentive. The pumpkin salad and beef pasta are shared with my girlfriend, and the fresh fruit smoothie is thick and authentic. So we decided to end our brunch in Providore with coffee and a lava cake.
It was quite okay, not fresh!
I like their breakfast menu. Knowing that its over priced, I still go there every now and then, because the food is good. But their service is keeping me from going there again.
For the past 4-5 months, their service has been deteriorating. The problem, from a customer’s perspective is that they cannot retain staff, and every time I go there, they have new people who seem to have good intentions, but they’re always overwhelmed, understaffed or simply not experienced or organized/ enough to be serving. I’m not just talking about rush hours.
People who go there will agree that their wait time is horrendous, and servers aren’t familiar with their menu nor their touchscreen where they place the orders in.
Their manager needs to do something about hiring more, training better and turn that place into somewhere people enjoy working.

Located in the basement of oue downtown, getting here is easy. From Tanjong Pagar MRT, exit from Capital Tower and cross the road.
The cafe is huge. There are many seats, but it seems that they are short-handed and service is a little slow. However, this is totally understandable so you will need to wait a while before your food is served. If you are tight on time for lunch, you might want to dine somewhere else.
Had the mac n cheese. Portion was quite big. I got a little sick of it half way through though cause the cheese was really thick and strong. Coffee was very fragrant.
Stumbled across this place by chance. Layout and interior is unlike hardly any other in SG. Love their coffee and their variety on the menu. This place is a must visit! Will be back in the near future!
They do their Shakshouka properly. It goes with a pork sausage.
Went there around 9 o’clock for brunch on Sunday. The service did not really start until 10 when most of the staffs arrived. We ordered and waited for about 30 minutes before the food was served.
Pretty decent food but not amazing and reasonable prices
I was worried that “basement” means dark, but the space feels airy and light – very comfortable to sit.
High quality coffee with plenty of milk alternatives, and the sandwich can be served gluten-free.
Worthwhile to stroll through the shop as well – nice setup!
A multi-lifestyle one stop shop that has a Deli, Bakery, Grocery Store and even Cooking Studio. You can get quality goods here though it may come with a hefty price tag.
The staff Kah Min is very enthusiastic and helpful…she made my visit here more pleasant…will definitely come back
Food is alright.
My favorite brunch spot! Great food, fantastic coffee and excellent service.
A poor and unworthy visit here.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, was waiting at the “wait to be seated area” for over five minutes without even having one server to acknowledge my arrival. Several servers walked past while pretending to not notice me there. Only when a couple of customers wanted to settle their bill at the counter the cashier said wait a moment. Was seated three minutes later without even an apology for the delay.
My guest and I were ready to order with no one in sight or bothering to take our orders. Several servers walked pass even when we were trying to signal to them. Continuation of the apathetic behaviour.
The food arrived not without much delay.
Presentation of the food was good, but there is where the compliments for the food end.
Firstly the long black tasted burnt as though the shot was over extracted to the point of not being drinkable.
The deep berry smoothie just tasted of bottled smoothies and not something fresh.
The risotto was way too salty while lacking the cheesy texture and the cream was quite runny.
The crab linguini pasta was very bland and lacking any real flavours. On top of that the crab meat was hard.
The sweet potato wedges were alright but the table condiment was bland and tasteless as well.
The venues ambiance and noise levels were good and quiet.
Lastly the pricing was on the mid to higher end for the dishes ordered and they did not come close to tasting as they should have.
TL:DR would not recommend a visit here not until their staff and food have improved vastly.
One of my fav breakfast spots in Singapore. The portion sizes are massive, you’ve been warned. Could easily share an entree with a friend. Try their chai latte…Christmas in a cup!
Pictured: eggs benedict and ham and cheese toasted sandwich.
Great ambience!
Pretty tasty Roasted Chicken Leg with Terre Exotique baharat spice, couscous, The Providore’s aubergine chutney & minted yoghurt. Lacking service quality though (we weren’t served mineral water that we asked for). And what’s wrong with chilling the Pinot Noir that the customer asked for anyway?
The ratolo was unique and good. The toastie was good, the cheese is amazing. But this place has a high price point…
Had one of the best moccachinos here.
Extremly good food amd drinks… at a price. Nice ambiance and staff.
the biggest providore in town, with the all the works. with lots of wine, cakes, bread counters and produce. they even have KKI cakes that are now sold under the Providore brand.
Great place to meet and chill out…nice pastries and coffee with great ambience.
It used to be my favorite place for avacado toast and coffee with my friends but not anymore. Staff is unable to explain why there is so inconsistency in food every week. Staff is not friendly and there are mistakes made on the bills.
For the premium price what they do serve is way below average.
I am sure if food is just more than a good plate served to you without smile.
This place is not the place worth going.
Wide variety of food for everyone
Easy to get table, no booking required
Average risootoo, rice wasn’t well cooked
Nice chat to chat
Average service
Loved the food, drink and service. This is a larger Providore compared with other ones and you can walk around to see some groceries and kitchenware which are quite cute. It offers another type of experience. Wall seats also come with charge stations so we can bring our laptops and stay longer. The Apple pie was great
The cheese room is a wonderland to cheese lovers, Like a toy store to kids!
Great service, courteous & efficient service crew, knowledgeable when recommending cheese & cold cuts.
Price point is on the steeper side, but it’s worth it.
We’ve been getting our cheese from there whenever we have guests at home and Providore never disappoints.
Enjoyed the wine & cheese pairing promotions!
Amazing place!
Life is hard enough but when you still have to deal with the attitude of the staff. The short chinese guy staff with spectacles is quite rude and always ignore his customers. At first i thought he was just having a bad day but i was wrong.. I was there a couple of times and it is always the same. There was once my friend ordered food but was not given utensils and he ignored my friend so he went to take it himself.. and what my friend got back was a evil stare like the staff is prepared to fight. What a rude staff. But overall, the food and coffee was quite good but just the service can be improve.
Very friendly staff, coffee is good – though in my opinion not beating Campos yet which is my bar between good and awesome. Tried their croissant and pain au chocolat, not among the best but maybe because I came in the afternoon so the crispiness wears off a bit. Overall good cafe that I’ll come back.
The bread is delicious!
It’s rude to say it unexpectedly, but the bread in the bread corner is delicious here.
It has a thin and flaky texture, just the right amount of buttery texture, and the filling is not too sweet, so you won’t get tired of eating it.
It doesn’t have the dry, sticky texture found in famous local bakeries.
We recommend reheating and eating on the same day.
We had cake on a weekday.
The cakes are high quality and wide variety. Especially the strawberry cake is very delicious️
Not too crowded in the evening on weekdays.
Very good food.
The service crew at the restaurant and the lady staff at the bakery are friendly and smiley. The hot muffins are great too!!
Good cafe and “supermarket”
Very classy English style cafe that serve restaurant quality English Breakfast. Their Chai latte have latte art with their own 7 spices. It is only $1.00 more to upsize the flat white and other coffees from medium to large. They have stylish tarts like the Montblanc tart that have crunchy chestnuts inside. The place is cool and cosy.
Nice decor but disappointing food and service compared to other outlets, especially the sandwiches since they don’t even have a grill at this outlet to make grilled sandwiches.
Variety : 5/5
Good choice of food, but parts of the menu are only served at certain times during the day, so breakfast is available from opening till 11.30 for weekdays, and 3pm on weekends, sandwiches are served 11.30 onwards till 5pm (for some reason, not stated in the menu), and the main menu and salads are served 11.30 onwards. The platters are available throughout the day.
In terms of the drinks, they have a wide selection of coffee available, that are also highly customizable (in-terms of milk selection and shots of flavoring syrup). The milkshakes are really good, and they use ice cream in them. The tea while good, is very pricy at S$9.5. The hot and cold chocolate are pretty strong and tasty too.
Taste : 4/5
Its not hard to say that they definitely use higher end ingredients for their food and drinks, and many of their sauces, condiments and ingredients are available for purchase from the restaurant itself. However, there was some deliberate under seasoning going on, and many of the dishes I have tried, such as the pastas, burger and the sandwiches were under seasoned, and tasted slightly bland. I understand sometimes chefs wants the original taste of the ingredients to shine through, but seasoning should enhance it, and not take away from it.
Value : 3/5
On average, some of the dishes were really expensive for what was served, some of the more egregious examples would be the risotto from the main menu ~S$29.5, and the sourdough and barn laid eggs~S$18.5 from the breakfast menu. While the taste is decent, you could spend less else where for the same quality. For drinks, I would like to reiterate the price of their tea which is a standard S$9.5 across the board. Coffee at S$5 (8oz) and S$6.5 (12oz) is okay.
Also, whats up with the S$2 sustainable water? To force patrons to donate a dollar for water to their own charity seems wrong.
What was really good value was the pastries and bread from the bakery. They are baked daily in-house and the price is very reasonable for the quality and taste.
The deli section is pricy, but its hard to find quality deli in Singapore anyway. The cheese could be really really really expensive, due to the amount of cheese the staff approximates when they cut it, therefore, unless you are a cheese lover and wants to taste a certain type of cheese, you would be safer off just ordering the cheese platters.
Miscellaneous side notes :
Do not visit this brunch in the evening, because the chefs often overcook or burn the food at this hour, I would like to know why too.
brunch and late breakfast crowds usually fills up the restaurants, so be careful patronizing at these timing.
Very good place for coffee and have meetings. It has good eatables.
Wonderful customer service! Nice ambient for a chat!
A large restaurant. I had the grilled Barramundi Fish with avocado mash and Mexican rice. It smelt fishy when it was served to our table. However, after I started eating, the fishy smell was gone and it was delicious. This fish dish cost $32++ and the pot of Rose Earl Grey Tea cost $9.50++. With taxes and service charge, it cost about $50 for one person. It is expensive. I will not return to dine there because of the poor value for money.
Beautiful ambience, I like the green wall and comfortable lighting. Food was good but not phenomenal.
very nice place to hang out with friends, good service too
Great ambiance. Delectable food.
A great place to chill as the environment is very cozy. Food are amazing and I’m looking forward to try the rest in their menu.
I love their BREADS, sandwiches and always go there for cheese platter and Charcuterie boards. Wines are all over the place too as the cherry on top!
Ambience is lovely for chilling and spending the lazing afternoon….Nice pastries and unique choices of tea food…
Came here at 930am on a weekend but limit menu available. Apparently they will get real packed from 11am onwards as most of the menus are unlocked only after 1130am. So we had to settle for the breakfast menu only and ordered a variety. Agree with past reviews that the price points are quite high even for breakfast. Portions are just nice for one per dish.
I love the Spanish baked eggs dish as it’s like shashukas from Morocco, and this is a tasty tomato based dish with onions (with hints of chilli padi seeds), slices of chorizo sausages and two fully cooked eggs.
The English breakfast is not bad too but portions are not as big as expected and would love some veg salad at least.
The sides topup of bacon is quite worthwhile though, $5.50 for 5 slices of back bacon. Breads are good and love their butter too.
Teas and coffees are not cheap with teas costing $9.50 for one pot though the flavours are quite interesting. Was recommend musk earl grey and it’s similar to normal earl grey.
Ambience is soothing and relaxing even though natural sunlight as it’s underground at basement, there’s also plenty of shopping you can do here along with fresh bakes from the bakery, cold cuts from the butcher and even an alcohol shop. Quite a good lifestyle concept and it almost feels like a small niche supermarket.
really great experience to know how to cook new and tasty dishes thanks!
Veg sandwich and IPA was awesome
Neat concept with good ambience.
Compared to other restaurants I have been, The Providore is the most nicely decorated restaurant with a selection of retail available that’s for customers to purchase as well as the atmosphere and the brilliant scenic of the place itself with a soft music playing in the background.
Comes with a wine area room where you could choose your favourite bottle of wine or whisky and have a good ol’ chat with your peers I’d recommend this place.
For pastries lovers, I doubt it’d be hard for you guys to choose your pastry because everything looks amazing here which is freshly baked in the morning.
Nice ambience very relaxing.
Food is ok.. I love the sweet potato log cake …
Service was not the best especially during lunch hour.
Pan Seared Barramundi was alright and we waited for quite a while for this to be served. This was coupled with a few sides including mexican rice and homemade corn tortillas. Wouldn’t say it’s completely worth the price though ($31.50).
Traditional hot chocolate ($7.50) was comforting to have though I seem to recall that they used to serve it in a nicer presentation pre-covid.
Great place to hang out for coffee. An extensive menu though quite pricey.
Free parking on weekend too
Was pretty shocked that a lady staff got my order wrongly and came towards me to ask again, “You ordered this this this right?”, hello.. are you working in the service line?
I repeated my order yet you got it wrongly and dare question me again? The service is of an issue definitely.
Good
This is such an interesting concept! From the beginning when you come down on the travelator entering the establishment! It’s almost like you rolled everything into one place! It’s a One Stop for everything!

This is a fantastic concept providore good job! I was only here for a short while! But I’ll definitely come back with friends to enjoy the Wine Room! Please extend your variety across the different types of wines further please!
Nice ambient, one whole floor of Providore just for you. Huge amount of seats available. Price is on the high side too.
Great place for lunch away from office lunch crowd.
Cosy cafe
Nice pour over coffee with cozy atmosphere. Good food selections of standard western options like Benedict eggs, salads etc. nothing special but good option especially on Sunday’s when everything is closed
Ordered the lobster mac and cheese which turned out disappointing… it was bland and distasteful. Burger was poorly done, it looked appetising but lacked flavour and character, undisputedly (in my opinion) one of the worst burgers in town. My total bill ran up to $90 for 2 cups of coffee and 2 mains, which was overpriced considering the standards. Overall ambience is great but I wouldn’t order their mains, their sandwiches are pretty decent so I’d recommend those instead.
Nice environment, very quiet on weekends
$9.50 for an average iced coffee is ridiculous!! And you have to pay $1 on top of that if you want alternative milk …
Nice place but if you wanna get a coffe, better to go to a coffe shop. Took 20 minutes just to get cappuccino here.
Yummy salads. Friendly, fast service at lunch on a weekday. Will definitely be back.
Enjoyable Sunday brunch with burger, Spanish eggs, ham & cheese sandwich. Crab linguini was rather averages though had generous serving of crab meat with it. Coffess are good. Service is just about adequate, and depending on the individual staff can be overwhelmed or seem to manage fairly well. A little pricey for the quality of food though its a fantastic location with nice ambience and decor.
Really good coffee. Expensive.
Really enjoyed the food here.
The club sandwich was good, and so was the fettuce pasta.
The service needs a tiny improvement. Several tables (including mine) had difficulty attracting the attention of the wait staff. They seem to be always looking the other way when we needed their attention.
Otherwise a great place for brunch because it is not too crowded.
The first I want to mention is the smell. The smell of cooking is all over the place. While that smells great sometimes but you do not want to be walking around or proceeding to a more high class place for drinks smelling like fried food. To be fair, this is the trend in Singapore but it shouldn’t be a trend. It’s quite peaceful on a Monday evening but I just can’t stay there for long because of the smell.
Staff is ok but somewhat less attentive. Again this is the trend in Singapore. I’d get better service from the Providor takeaway counter at Raffles.
They didn’t even bother to serve me water but they did it for others.
Worth the price? Not really. For over $30, I would expect a much higher standard.
Very good and tasty food, cooked with high quality products. The open restaurant / delicatessen / cellar concept is pretty interesting and add to the experience. I will definitely go back.
Favourite place to grab a drink and read a book in Singapore. Perfect store temperature & great selection of coffees and bar snacks
Lovely coffee and interior. Not too busy even on weekends. Maybe it costs more but quality comes at a price. They have a great philosophy about using ethically sourced ingredients. Only wish they had more vegan options on the menu… tofu and beans on the menu please?
Never noticed this hidden gem near home!
Nice environment, not crowded on weekends, but just average food.
Good selection of pale ales. Price is a little expensive but reasonable given the rarity of the pale ales.
Beautiful place, interesting concept of a cafe / restaurant within a homeware / gift / liquor / coffee / tea shop. Just stopping by for a quick look since it only opened a few days ago, I’ll be back again to try the food and drinks. Lots of nice pretty things suitable for housewarming gifts or your own home.
Quite place with decent bakery options. I got surprised by the beer, was very nice.
Nice place if you want to have conversation
Best place to go to right now
Went for brunch, quite nice environment & decor, but food and coffee were just okay.
Their sandwiches are top notch!!
Nice quiet spot for lunch in Shenton Way area. Food is decent
Pretty cool environment.
Food is decent but not extraordinary and most importantly not worth the price. The bakery goods are great though.
Nice place for networking breakfast though staff could be more attentive. A little on the pricey side.
Worst Mac and Cheese. Inedible. Good spot for meetings though
Tugged away at basement 1 (access via travellator) at downtown OUE, they do provide breakfast and lunch menu. Coffee is run of the mill, food is great though slightly on the pricier side. Service is slightly slow. They do have a bakery and cakes for sale as well. Overall a worthy experience.
Had a great late dinner with colleagues. Definitely a good place to catch up with your friends or business discussions. They serve good drinks and food too!
Perfect place for your coffee meeting
Came here for the cakes that were once sold under the Kki brand. The cakes were pretty and they tasted good! This place is like a Marché concept, and had a lot more things that I’ve not tried.
I love everything in providore just note that everything here is much more expensive than what you’d find in a normal hyper market, but the quality is everything they have is similar to what you’d find at eataly or Whole Foods which is what keeps us coming back. If you’re ever looking for a good loaf of sourdough bread this is our go to as well!
After the hostess seated us and gave us the menu, the service ended there. Not even one server made eye contact with us or asked us what we wanted to drink. We waited several minutes before being able to get a waiter’s attention. We ordered the smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs (I wanted scrambled), the Spanish baked beans in an iron skillet, and their hot chocolate. Nothing special with the smashed avocado but the Spanish baked beans was decent. I miss eating in this dish back in the States and wished more places here in Singapore had this.
A good place for after work drinks.
Imagine this. A very cosy ambience with good selection of wines and whiskey. Pair it with a huge variety of cheese and cured meat, and decent pizza. Ahh, you’ve got yourself a perfect evening!
Here’s a downer: if you purchase a bottle of drinks (e.g. whiskey) here and you can’t finish it at one seating, you can’t keep your bottle here. But you’re welcome to bring it back for another round of drinks. A rather strange policy if you ask me.
Additional review: Serves a good spread of continental breakfast.
Good service and food.
Got chope vouchers too
