This place used to be the go to place for pool in the west, but serves no purpose now except for Ntuc Finest, Popular, KFC, DBS bank. They have a small malay eatery that serves decent food and a few cafes on outside of the mall that’s worth trying.

The only reason I visit this place is for the Fairprice Finest located in here. The huge supermarket is stocked with a big variety of fresh produce, meats, and other everyday necessities. Did not have the chance to visit this place after graduated from Ngee Ann. For more than 20 years, finally had a chance with a young colleague to lead me around. After much renovation, this place have evolved into a bright & lively place. With a 24hrs NTUC finest supermarket, this place created conveniences for both locals & expatriates.
Surprisingly, the watch cum clock shop, Popular bookshop & Pizza hut still exist!
There are even a few extensions outlets which serves artisan coffee & Korean “ice kacang”. There’s also a new road which directly lead to Beauty World MRT.

Aside groceries, there’s a great ballet school called Attitude, Subway, Korean restaurant, Nyonya Delicatessen that serves mouthwatering nyonya laksa, mee siam, nasi kunyit, second generation & very affordable. The Grind serves delicious western food & Dino’s strawberry cake. The most important thing is for mothers looking to do groceries, look for Giggly Feet as you can leave your kid there for how long as you want with a fee & they’ll babysit. Not fancy mall, but with many services in the Bukit Timah area.
Great big Fair Price, good dancing school Attitude Performing Arts ( jazz, ballet, contemp, tap), 4 different music studios for kids, Art and Learning labs, a decent sport shop, hair, nail, beauty services, various eateries.

Very different to the Bukit Timah Plaza I remember as a child, but still a great little shopping centre in the heart of Bukit Timah, with awesome brunch places (Rise and Grind), stationery shops like Popular, or NTUC, Bata etc. Everything you need and want in one place! Walking distance to Beauty World MRT, Bukit Timah Market too (except that you have to brave the humidity). Taxi stand is accessible and there always seems to be a constant stream of taxis coming through so you’re never stranded.

Only speaking for the peranakan food at BT plaza–Nonya Delicatessen–which is the best in Singapore. Caveat emptor, I’ve been here for less than a year.

This is a de facto place of call for residents around the area. NTUC Fairprice is well run and well stocked. A lot of shops catering to differing needs. Parking is a little awkward but we mostly get by.

An out of town shopping center which has a different mix of restaurants and cafes from the usual heartland malls. A tranquil and pleasant place to shop.

Parking is no problem, and there are many small factories!
