Good cricket ground in Singapore

Good 11 aside pitches. Relatively well maintained
A bit far if you dont drive. Facilities are good and large fan made it cooling.
Road and traffic is a nightmare on Saturday morning. Place could use some maintenance. Soccer run by ANZA is great fun for the kids

Inaccessible from public transport, but the facilities we’re great. We played on the AstroTurf pitch which was well kept
It’s great. It’s hot. There were no staff there….
A vast Sports complex with multitude of Sports activities. They have basketball courts, Cricket piches cum Footsal courts, Football ground etc etc
The place has toilet and shower facilities although not v clean. Place also has a small Cafe with some sandwitches and drinks.
Booking fee for Cricket pitches is SGD 50 per hour. They provide wickets and bats. Parking is open shared with Tanglin Tennis Academy.
They also have some picnic benches places there for players to have some refreshments.
In terms of connectivity nearest MRT station is Sixth Avenue but its quite far so only option is pvt vehicles or taxi. There is a shuttle bus from MRT station but that will drop you at Grandstand and still some distance from The Cage.
Similar Cricket pitches from The Cage at Kallang are SGD 35 per hour only.

Played on the standard artificial pitch a few times. Really a hassle to get to even with a car or bike. Public toilets very far from pitch. Some guys just pee at the drain so dont ever sit at any drains ️ …

1 hour walk and the lack of water coolers makes the cage comparable to playing in the desert. Q cheap so I’ll give props to that.
invest in some new nets with smaller holes
Well sheltered pitches. There are 3 pitches that can be combined into a bigger pitch. There are also sheltered table-benches suitable for small food parties. Pitch 1 or 3 get soaked under heavy downpoars though.
The location is quite remote; probably about 15 mins walk to Grandstand, which itself is not accessible by public transport (there is shuttle bus I think).
But perhaps because the pitches are quite remote, it is not heavily booked and it may be possible to enjoy beyond the booking time (no one chasing). There is also a big outdoor field you could use (no shelter).
Toilers/changing rooms are about 50 to 80 m away, unsheltered, near the car park, which is another 20m away. There are ‘outdoor’ shower facilities though.
If you have booked the pitch and are driving and need to carry stuffs, you can ask them to lift a barrier and you can probably drive quite near the pitches.
If you use Google Map for the exact location, you may miss out the entrance to the car park. So it is best to slow down 100m before destination and look out for th entrance of the car park.
There are i think 2 big drink vending machines. No water cooler.
Place where keep fit stay strong. Fresh air in the morning.

The facilities are great but the men’s toilets and shower rooms have no water just now and for God knows how long. The toilets are beginning to stink.

Played in the shelterd pitch. Condition is good, but not isolated between pitches, so balls might go into the other pitches. Location is hard to find as it is deeeeep within grandstand

My son plays soccer here. The place could get some more spaces to rest in the shade. Both for spectators as players, there is little room to hide from the sun. Also a cafe of some sorts would be helpful.

I had a great time with my friends at the indoor 5 a side pitches. However, there were no fans alongside the pitches and it made the pitch very hot, though it is sheltered. Other than that, all is good

A good indoor cricket place
It has three nets and one indoor cricket stadium. The good part is that your nets are not impacted by rain as it’s fully covered. There is also a 100 plus vending machine here for post practice hydration. Unfortunately I couldn’t find any water dispenser there which is a draw back.

Large multisport park.. a bit hard to get to if you don’t have a car.. but with grab these days most places are accessible. Closest MRT is Sixth Avenue (Orange Line)

The paintballs were pretty painful. Extra coverage for your clothes cost $10. It’s open air, ap it’s pretty hot in the day, especially if you have more protective gear on. Prepare lots of water to cool yourself. There are shower facilities, but a good 10-15min walk away

This place has not been upgraded for some time and you can tell, from the potholes in the pitches to the broken side netting for keeping the ball in, but cheaper than most pitches which can make up in some ways. Very far in from the main road, inconvenient for one who drives, let alone those who take public transport. Traffic can also can crowded on weekends when other groups like rugby and cricket have classes and events. Way past its prime and deserves all the low ratings it gets.

Well maintained Football Fields. Bright flood lights. Ample carparks. It’s very chirpy from 7pm onwards with almost all the 4 fields being occupied. Pitch 1 2 3 are big and pitch 4 is slightly smaller. We prefer to always play in p1-3

Excellent place for sports of various kinds for adults and kids. A great place to spend weekend mornings and get some exercise. Don’t take the MRT or bus to reach though…. It’s a very very long walk to get to the pitches.

Spacious sporting arena. Got everything from football, basketball, tennis cricket karting. Beautiful surroundings and very quiet place.
The road to this place is ridiculously terrible. Uneven roads with alot of potholes. Wonder why no repair was done.

Ok for those who drive, not that convenient for those who wish to take MRT/Bus, good walking exercise though.
Theres 4 artificial 11-aside & 3 artificial 5-aside pitch here of good quality. The bad thing is that it is located deep within Turf City. Unless you drive, getting there could take a long walk from the nearest public transport.

Place was ‘ulu’ and not very accessible to the general public but the facilities were great. I went to play futsal there with my friends. Did not disappoint. The flooring is made up of artificial grass and there’s plenty of space to run around and score goals. A bit disgusted by the netting to enter the cage though. Wish they can do something about it like wash it overnight.
