Food was good, poor service by staff who was unecessarily rude. We told the staff we wanted to order after writing our order on the paper and immediately, without asking or noticing, the staff told us “you need to write down first then order” which we had already done?? She was also rushing us out of the restaurant just because there was a long queue outside. Moreover, there is no specified dining limit and even if there was, we had only been inside for less than half an hour.
Tried both TY soup nice. Served with Carol, attentive, fast, friendly, cheerful. Recommend

The food was hot and tasted good. The food is pricey and definitely when compared to quantity it may seem less. I feel they can do a lot better, however I think cost is an issue here. With that price, as a customer my expectations with presentation/quantity is high, I look for that extra value we pay. That seemed to be a miss here.
I truely hope that they can improve and do a better job with the menu, presentation and value of money.

Would only give 3 stars because of this really nice and joyful staff – carol. She was really helpful and joyful to be around. Ordered the red duck lasksa and wouldn’t order it again. The gravy was good, but the duck served wasn’t freshed and was obviously very contrasting to the images on the menu. The grapes in the laska were also filled with seeds and was not very appealing in general. Still, would prefer they have my favourite item on the menu but would come back for their good service.

Green curry chicken is good. Lemon tea is very very bad and weird. It taste like has been kept for few days, not fresh. $3 for lemon tea is totally waste of money.

Food was good, especially pad thai, but the service was very bad. The table arrangement due to COVID can be better managed and organised. All the table for four was occupied by two people, where the table for two was left empty. It was obvious that those people has just arrived at the restaurant because they were still ordering when i was queuing. Leaving group of 3 / 4 people need to wait for very very long outside.
Carol was the one showing us to the table and passing us the menu. She rushes us through the ordering and was grumbling when placing the order through the system (my table is just besides the order system).
Food was served fast. After our dinner, we went to the cashier and Carol was the cashier as well. Same thing, she rushed through the payment process without giving us the time to check our bill. In the midst of waiting for the receipt to be generated, she went and show other customers to the table. Leaving us waiting down there for her to come back and passing us the receipt. After passing the receipt to us, she walked off straightaway without any thank you.
There was only one poor employee (Carol) running around responsible for everything from taking orders to serving tables and receiving payment. Her service was great but hope more people can be employed to help her!

I would like to commend the fantastic service that my partner and I had received by two of your wonderful Staffs (A Manager & CSR) when we had dined in yesterday (13th Sept 2022) at about 7:30pm.
The Restaurant was about 90% filled with only two vacant tables.
We waited at the entrance of the restaurant and was served and brought to our tables by a pleasant and friendly looking Staff (Didn’t get his name). By the overview of the operation, it can be clearly seen that the Restaurant are running on almost full house with only two Staffs, inclusive of the Manager on Duty (Natasha) that were serving the customers and attending to our needs, including attending to the Delivery Platform Orders. They had the urgency in mind to serve their customers well and did not take their time to complete their tasks.
Despite the shortage of manpower as well as the occupancy of the restaurant at that time, they did not fail to maintain a positive outlook and posture which is difficult to see that they were overwhelmed with the duties that they need to attend to as well as to ensure a good customer service is being provided at the same time. With the best Customer Service provided, sounds from plates dropping or breaking is not of an issue if you know that the people serving you are at top-notch!
I am very Thankful for the service provided by Natasha and her Staff. I will be beyond glad to be dining in again at ThaiExpress @ AMK Hub when those two Staffs are on duty! KUDOS Natasha and Team!

Superb steamed fish with a mouth-watering gravy. Hor fun and softshell crab Tang Hoon (glass noodles) also had good wok hey.
Red ruby dessert was yummy. The chendol green bits are the Thai style which is more mushy.

Coconut milk soup was excellent. Service was acceptable but not superior. I can see it could improve in that. Price is a little high for the place, you can check a copy of the invoice in the pictures. A high point was the beef noddle soup, very good taste and well done, flavor of the soup was great, a must try if you come here.
Service was great and friendly. The moment the manager saw me taking some Panadol for my headache she handed me a glass of water to down the pills. Normally each cup of water would cost about $1 but I wasn’t charged. Definitely would come again for the great service.

Have been dining here for over a year now. Great food (esp the softshell crab and kailan) and most importantly the taste is consistent every single time. So kudos to the kitchen. Also, I love dining here cos Carol always greeted and served us with so much joy and enthusiasm everytime. I’m glad too that they finally have a better bowl to serve the Red Ruby after changing multiple times. I like the current one best as its not shaking when we try to scoop.

My husband and I came to this outlet and was welcomed by aunty Carol with such a warm greeting before we order our food. The friendly staff recommended us to try the set meal for two. The set consisted of tom yum hot pot, grilled chicken, stir-fried kai lan with mushroom and chendol for dessert. All were delicious and portions were generous. The tom yum hot pot had prawns, cuttlefish, mushrooms and fish slices. Ingredients were fresh and the soup was sourish and spicy. Thumbs up! The vegetables were crunchy and fresh, tasty! Grilled chicken was not bad too, juicy and flavourful. Lastly, the chendol was sweet and refreshing, a good way to end the meal. The total damage was around $50. Service staff were efficient and friendly. Will definitely return.
We were served by Ms Shimah. She went out of the way to help us and even served the kids their portions of steamed fish. She made us feel very welcome, together with the rest of the staff. And the food was awesome!

Their Thai fish cake was really juicy and well marinated. Duck curry was very flavorful and interesting, there’s grapes and lychees in the curry, the duck was soft and juicy. Prata was crispy and goes well with curry.

Restaurant is exceptionally well organised. The service staff takes reasonable steps to ensure you are taken care of. Clear Tom Yum Seafood Soup is quite average, but the amount of the ingredients is quite a lot for one person. Green Mango is rather too sweet and too much peanuts but overall it is well created. Stir-fried Beef Kway is too oily and its not worth eating. Thai Steamed Otak is the best! – try it!

There r only soft shell crab, chives, glass noodles n parsley in this dish. Chicken rice looks plain but it’s flavourful. Portion is a little small for a one-dish meal so guys may not find it filling enough. Prawn toast is good!

Hmm… good thing is that once our food was served, there’s a 3rd wait staff who attended to us throughout. We cld finally eat in peace, with our needs taken care of

Service was excellent ; staff were all attentive to our needs during ordering, though food needed some improvement. The tom yum soup was a little too sour and not spicy enough. Fish,vegetables and mushrooms were all fresh and were well seasoned.
After eating so much fish, I still like this one the most, it won’t disappoint, the taste is always just right, I tried tomyam and green pepper, it’s amazing

But a funny thing happened when I was ordering. I had lunch alone, so I ordered a fried rice with pineapple seafood, rice and poached eggs. When it came out, he really gave me a fried rice with pineapple seafood , a poached egg and a plain rice (plus rice). I asked the waiter, and she explained that the extra rice in the menu means adding a plate of white rice….
