Ordered pad thai chicken ($7) and thai tea, less sweet ($2). Pad thai was spicy and abit oily, not much flavour but they added crispy fried chicken to the noodle! Yummy! Thai tea has more tea than milk taste. Relatively busy during lunch hours. Able to call to reserve a table as well!

Gives me a very similar feel when eating in the streets of Bangkok. The flavours are great and they have a wide selection of choices to satisfy your craving for Thai food.

The location can be a bit elusive as it is located in one corner admits of the massage shops at the level.

I will definitely come back to try other items on their menu!

Waiting time was pretty long, expect at least a 30mins wait before food is served.

Dishes were pretty oily; menu was fairly priced considered dining options in orchard. Place was a little difficult to find as it’s hidden/located in a corner.

Great food. Ambience could be rowdy depending on neighboring shops services. Often crowded on weekends evenings. Famous omelette is too oily. Most Thai food uses good doses of MSG, this place is no exception.

Tucked at the far corner in Orchard Tower, this place offers authentic Thai cuisine. The fried pork belly is so sinful yet so tasty! Thai ice tea can be too sweet so I always tell them to make me the less-sugar version one.

Basil pork is very flavourful filled with basil taste. Well balanced, not too dry nor saucey. Eggs is perfectly fried with a runny yolk. ($7)

Tom Kha Soup is very comforting, right amount of coconut milk is used. The chilli also balances out the coconut milk to prevent it from being too jelat. ($12)

    Great authentic thai food.

The deep fried pork has a very bad oil smell, tasted like they didn’t change the oil for days. Other than that everything else was good. Pad Thai is chewy, a little lack in flavours as compared to those you’d have in Thailand. Price is relatively reasonable.

This building is difficult to enter from the front side, but there is a small Thai restaurant when you go to the back of the 3rd floor by a friend.

The seats were full and shared, but we immediately sat down.

There are 3 lunch sets and many other à la carte dishes.

This time à la carte papaya salad and green curry (must try with very richness), seafood pad thai with rice and Thai milk tea‼

Gappao comes with fried eggs and rice for $8.

If you are not good at spicy food, you can use less spicy when ordering.
All of them were delicious and received firmly by the two of us!!

    Budget for one person /S$8-18

love the raw prawns, Tom yum soup , Fried chicken wings, fluffy Thai style omelette! the Thai basil minced pork not as fragrant as lack of thai basil. a little less sweet sauce might have been good too. Pad Thai is good too. Green Curry color too greenish.. Petai with prawns yummy too.

4 stars – Very good, definitely worth a visit if you like this kind of food.

Ambience isn’t great, but you didn’t come here for the music and atmosphere, eh? Authentic Thai food with generous portions at affordable prices in town.

If it’s good enough for the folks at the Royal Thai Embassy next door, it’s good enough for me.

Walked into sleazy building at the quiet end of Orchard Road, distracted by voluptuous bar girls outside KTVs, lost our way (perhaps on purpose) around the mazy shops within Orchard Tower, discovered an authentic-looking thai cuisine eatery at acceptable/affordable (orchard road relative) prices, and pretty tasty thai delicacies. Seating area was comfortable, not too crowded (Koran nearby was much more popular it seems). Basil leaves pork was delicious, the rest were decent but I have had better. Prices for mains are surprisingly decent perhaps due pandering to the usual office lunch crowd, but the ala carte side dishes are costly. Recommended for the authentic (sexciting :p) experience and generally tasty food.

This review is based on a lunch I had alone. Ordered the seafood Tom Yum Noodle ($7) and a glass of milk tea ($2). Specifically told the staff “little spicy” twice, but the soup was still very spicy (my tolerance for spiciness isn’t low). Soup tasted standard for a Thai restaurant, nothing spectacular. Milk tea was pretty good though. Wouldn’t say cheap as most dishes average about $10. Perhaps I’ll come back again to try out other dishes, and then update my review/rating.

Had dinner there once. Ordered the
    – milky Tom yum seafood – so good!

    – pineapple fried rice – awesome!

Lunch time is crowded, so you will have to wait for a long time, but if you can eat delicious Thai food, you can endure it. The location on the 3rd floor of a dubious multi-tenant building doesn’t bother me during the day. I was very satisfied with eating delicious khao pad after a long time.

Came back to try the 2nd Thai food place on the 3rd level of orchard Tower. Infact came down last Monday, but they were not operating. We were there almost at 8pm and the restaurant was almost empty except for a few tables. We were allocated a table near to the lift outside of the restaurant. You have to order at the counter inside and payment is collected immediately after.

As the restaurant wasn’t busy, our food came shortly after ordering. Ordered a total of 6 dishes and 2 fried rice and the bill came up to $SGD94 for 4pax including the drinks. Ordered their Tom Yum soup, mango salad, deep fried garlic pork, stir fry kangkong, Omelette and basil pork. To be honest, had high expectation of their food but felt that it didn’t live up to the expectation.

Basil pork has an overpowering unpleasant taste to it. Deep fried garlic pork was served cold and it was not crispy. kangkong felt more like sambal kangkong. The only 2 dishes that was nice to me, was the mango salad and the tomyum soup. Personally felt that the food over at another Thai stall is much better.

Super awesome Thai food at a ridiculously good price! If you can ignore the many temptations and seemingly dodgy bars and pubs in the mall, this place that is tucked in a cozy little corner on the 3rd floor, is a must-go! Up 2 flights of escalators and make a 180 degrees turn. Turn left at the end and walk all the way into the corner!

Food wise, make sure you order the pork belly chop, their tom yum soup (super spicy version), egg omelette with minced meat, and their thai iced milk tea.

Nothing “lup-sup” here at the famed “lup-sup” building. Fantastic food on a slightly pricey side. But considering that it is in Orchard, that is acceptable. 3 dishes and 2 drinks for $29. The stir fried glass noodles was fantastic with a generous portion of meat and strong “wok hei”. Basil pork rice was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Egg was well fried though. The teas had a nice fragrance to them instead of being just sweet n milky.

Wow, another hidden gem in Orchard Tower with excellent Thai Food. The food is authentic and you won’t be disappointed.

Papaya salad was spicy, flavorful and pack a punch of fish sauce (not for everyone). I highly recommend it for papaya salad lovers out there.

Basil ground pork – oyster sauce and soy sauce mixed with ground pork. Not a bad dish if you want protein.

Chicken Pad Thai – rice noodles, chicken, bean sprouts, peanuts and scrambled eggs tossed in a delicious pad thai sauce. The noodle is not too dry or too wet just perfect!

Price is quite pricey. We spent $30.00 SGD on three dishes. Ouch! It best to come here in a group as portion size is big.

Ignoring the sketchy location of Orchard Towers, the food is very decent and affordably priced. No frills location in the corner of the third floor keeps things real.

    I’d recommend everything we ordered:
    – Tom yum soup: we tried the milky type, which was delicious
    – Green curry chicken: very generous with the curry and chicken for a single order
    – Mango salad: only spicy if you eat one of the red chilis

Thai iced tea is better than the Thai green iced tea (this had some melon flavor in it…actually strangely reminded me of tootsie rolls).

This is where you will sit with friends, enjoy a good meal for decent price, and then head out right after. No fuss or frills. Cash payment only so don’t forget to withdraw. There are ATMs at the entrance of the building.

The waiter is very friendly. Food is good but not wonderful. It’s just the Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice are on the sweet side.

I really love the tomyam soup here ($7) with noodles! I would recommend the thai style noodles. Other food of note is the omelette with filling, and basil chicken. Phad thai is alright. Milk tea i think is a little pricy, but its good! Would recommend this place even though its in a kinda shady location

Very tasty! Also quite generous with how much meat/seafood you get in their ala carte dishes. Been several times, favourite is the panang moo. Fair warning though: food’s greasy & msg-heavy (hence, yum), and the building has poor ventilation so your clothes, your bag, your hair etc will smell afterwards (but not as strongly as with Korean BBQ).

This is forever my fav thai place to go! I was first introduced to this place by my friend back in Jan 2019, the location may be abit out of the norm in a place least expected, and located in orchard towers. However the food is superb!

My fav dishes will be the creamy tom yam soup, crispy pork belly, the freshly prepared thai style fish and the thai green milk tea. Its always my go to place whenever I crave for thai food. My friends know that too! Also, its really very conveniently located in town.

Recently I also found out they accept payment via paynow!

    Would totally recommend!

Pineapple fried rice: 5/5, really tasty even on its own
Green curry chicken: 5/5, thick and creamy, not too spicy
Tom yum seafood soup: 5/5, clear tomyum style, spicy and sour enough to tickle the throat but really shiok
Deep fried pork belly: 3/5, rather tough and dry
Fried omelette: 5/5, fluffy and crispy

Surprisingly good food, add a runny egg to everything you order. I’m pretty sure it’s worth it. More worth it than all the “dirty” massages around this shop… Not that I know that it’s dirty but why did they call out to other guys but not me!! Anyway the portion is not too bad, pricing is a little on high side but the flavour is on point.

I was recommended this Thai place by a friend. It’s on the same 3/F of Orchard Towers, as Korat (another Thai restaurant that I frequent) but tucked away in the corner. Glad to have discovered it as I think the cooking at Thai Tantric is superior to Korat (less oily and appears more hygienic).

I ordered their pork belly rice set ($8). You know you’re on to a winner the moment you try the fried egg that comes with this dish. Chef Tanasak is superb such that even a simple fried egg is prepared expertly. Their deep fried pork belly was delicious. Crispy, juicy cut & oh so tasty! I look forward to returning to try their other dishes. Sorry Korat, I’ve found a new fave Thai place at Orchard Towers.

Very legitimate and authentic thai food, but the location can be a little dodgy, especially in the evenings. This mall has many thai clubs and bars, with thai social escorts frequenting the place. As such, try not to go too late at night if you’re a guy and you’re alone.

Would say the food is decent/average. Had the pineapple fried rice and the fried glass noodles. Pineapple fried rice had curry powder/taste to it, and the fried chicken bits were nice. Was worth it to add the egg (extra $1) – runny egg yolk.

Fried glass noodle was not bad but slightly oily. Overall rather affordable considering the central location, but it’s not somewhere I would be back.

The air in this building is difficult to enter, but please enter and climb to the third floor. it tastes very good. The spiciness varies depending on the day, but it is basically very spicy. People who are not good at spicy food are not suitable.

Delicious and affordable Thai food, two people can eat for about 25 yuan per person. The location is a bit hidden, if you come for dinner, you will see many hot girls with deep career lines greeting you on the way to find the restaurant (really shy)

Tom yum soup has umami and it’s delicious! It’s a bit more expensive but considering that it’s in Orchard, it’s probably the norm. It’s quite difficult to locate the shop. Once you come up from the escalator, turn right, walk till the end then turn left.

Will definitely come back and sample more dishes.

Very nice Thai food. The omelette was very crispy & flaky (I think they use a lot of oil but it’s worth it :p). The kang kong was very crunchy and fresh. The only thing is the shop is small and very busy. We waited for 45 mins to get our food. So you may want to plan your visit earlier and factor in the waiting time during busy hours.

Food is amazing here and the best part is that, it is very reasonably priced considering the fact that it’s located quite near town! Only sad thing is that they don’t serve desserts, but I’m totally not complaining cause food is really good! Side note, it can be very crowded here, I went on a Friday night and there was a queue but we were seated in about 10 min.

    Pineapple rice – very fragrant
Stir fry chicken – meat was abit tough but sauce was well balanced.
Abit pricey but portion is big.
