Always here for the mala xiang guo and tze char (rice or noodles only), Hokkien mee and indian muslim.

Quality of mala xiang guo changes depending on the time you visit. It’s not that good during high peak hours.

I recommend the grilled fish too, it’s enough for 4 person if you’re having it with rice.

    —–

I always order the masala thosai or indian rojak at the indian muslim stall.

    —–

Ah yes, char siew rice, wanton mee and curry chicken noodle can be a good option.

    —–

Taiwan stall a little disappointing and overpriced.
Enoki mushrooms has this woody smell, plus it was very oily, so it was just oozing with this woody + oil with every bite.

The salted chicken, just boiled chicken apparently with veggies of your choice. Tastes alright but nothing amazing. It’s more expensive than having mala xiang guo though, probably because this has more meat.

All in all. I’ve had better Taiwanese food in SG but just not this place. I cook better lu rou fan too… so…

    —–

Western food will be good for those who like thickly battered and breaded items, which you can hardly taste item inside. Sorry, this is not for me.

Located at Blk 218 Sumang Walk. Its a neighbourhood coffeeshop. There are differrent foodstalls selling Chinese, Indian and Western Foods. Was there with some colleages for dinner and we ordered Fried Hokkien Prawn Noodles and a plate of Shrimp Paste Fried Chicken Wings. The noodles was good mainly because of the broth and the prawns are quite fresh. The fried chicken wings are fried well, crispy on the outside and still tender inside and also they are not so oily compared to some other places. Will return to try out other foods there.Prices of the food we ordered are slightly on the higher side. For parking the multi storey car park is just behind. Also the place is quite easy to locate as it is by the road.

I have tried nearly all stalls in the coffeeshop.
    1. Drinks stall
Usual cup of coffee or tea, price is also at coffee shop pricing.

    2. Economic rice
    Tried at least 3 times.
The ingredient portions are small, price is average, hence you are getting less for what you deserve. Will only order when I want to eat lots of rice.

    3. Thai food
    Tried at least 3 times.
Quite tasty, price is a little steep. But good range of food to choose from, will come here for my Thai food fix.

    4. Hokkien noodle
    Tried more than 10 times.
Best fried hokkien mee in Punggol and Seng Kang. The CKT and other dishes are not bad too. I do not have to travel out of Punggol for a good fried hokkien mee because of this stall. The wok hei is noticeable making the noodles worth the calories.

    5. Noodles stall
    Tried twice.
Okok only, nothing to shout about.

    6. Mala Xiang Guo
    Tried twice.
Decent and cheap. They price by weight of food. Range is a little limited, no tripe.
Or else a good place to get MLXG fix in Punggol.

Patronised the chicken stall many times. Alway love their chicken rice and char siew rice. However today I bought the chicken rice and the stall gave me very little chicken and that few pieces. More ever, the total cost is $7.30, I have him $10.50. And he only returned me $2.20. Only when I looked at him he pay me another $1. Not sure if he really calculated wrongly.

Tried the hokkien mee based on a friend’s recommendation. Friendly uncle and the food was good; moist with nice chilli.

Also ordered kopi-gao ($.120) and it was better than expected, just that the drink stall auntie sounded a little rude (maybe that’s just her normal tone which I misinterpreted).

On a separate occasion, I also tried the prata. Pretty normal, no complaint about the food itself, but the person didn’t wipe his hands after making the prata and ended up passing me my change which was an oily piece of $2-note

The atmosphere is cooling & warm . Not only are the stall owners friendly , the food they serve are also delectable & delicious . Moreover , there are seats on both the inside & outside of the food centre , allowing more patrons to dine @ the place . Most of the stalls also offer delivery services , which allows more people to be able to eat the delicious food . All in all , the food centre is definitely worth a visit !

2ndly, the chicken rice stall which sells delicious char siew and rosted pork rice.. Very nice and price is very reasonable. Seafood stall so far 8 tried a few dishes from menu and it’s good too. Overall experience is very pleasant.

The fried carrot cake is good… I saw a lot of people ordering the hokkien mee, but I hadn’t tried myself… I don’t know about the western though… I ordered steak twice. The first was fantastic. Western is abit pricey and the economy rice stall charges inconsistently.
But gotta say the prata stall does serve one of the best prata in the neighborhood.

Good place to have a good meal in this coffeeshop here in Punggol. I particularly tasted and like these 2 stalls: the Mee Goreng is very consistently good taste.

This Chinese Malaysia stall took over the precious Thai Food stall. I tried the 刀削面 and liked it. The broth is not oily and salty, the taste is delicious for $5 Beef noodles!
