I visited this outlet yesterday and I was served by Henry at the bedding section. Henry was very helpful in helping me choose the right type of duvet for my needs. He also explained to me the standard I should be getting from individual manufacturers. I’m pleased to be served by him and I owe him my gratitude for a wonderful service.
Without Robinson so this is the next go to place for proper regular retail therapy. This outlet do have much to look see look see. Managed to get some nice hampers for my company’s client at the CNY fair.

Mrs bought a pair of shoes n MIL bought a handbag. The queue to pay was too long though with 15 in queue n only one cashier. It was a Friday at 2pm.
Everything you need for gifts is here and best part is they offer tax refunds to tourists. Just make sure you bring your passport to avail of the refund.

Quieter due to Heightened Alert status which is good I guess cos not crowded. Prices still on high side but does have a few interesting items, like novelty activity stuff for adults… 30 Day Challenge to Become Vegan or 21 Day Challenge to Quit Smoking or Kick Phone Addiction ! Or Multi-Purpose Tools like Swiss Army Knife but with added Spork (Spoon&Fork) or Hammer & Pliers ! Some nice outdoorsy furnishings like collapsible hammocks and baskets for laundry and other such purposes. You cld say it’s a nice change from your regular dept store
I’m not a huge shopping fan but as department stores go Tangs seems pretty good. Lots of variety including brand name choices as well as lesser known cheaper styles. Staff were helpful and the store nicely not crowded on the day I visited making for a good experience overall.

Things are expensive but at time there are good discount.
Nice local shopping mall, you get 6% rebate for every purchase over 10 dollars. Sometimes you get 12% rebate exclude GST.
Inside Tangs has many brands and this place has a lot of discounts too. The price is still affordable to buy and the quality is no doubt. So I just came to this place and I really recommend it if you want to find it for gifts or for your own collection

Great Singapore store established many years ago in Orchid Road and now at Vivo. Everything you need from ladies perfume to men’s undies and socks. Great depts all over the store with high end quality and locally made items. Disappointed they got rid of the Buford products though …
If you go to Tangs and have no idea what to eat, I would recommend you to visit the food court called The Marketplace. They have authentic Malaysian and Singaporean as well as Strait Chinese food. The price is reasonable and not overpriced compare to other places on town. Must try the Chendol, Char Kway Teow and popiah! You won’t regret!
I went to the Tangs at Vivocity which was spaciously laid out. Because the prices are higher than what I can afford, I only go there when there’s a special promotion. In this case I bought a luggage which was 40% off so I think thats a good deal!

The Tangs of present day don’t quite cut it for me, though it has modernised a lot into quite a different creature altogether.
I always have fond memories of trudging into the 3 or 4 levels of the iconic old C.K. Tang building along Orchard Road.
My eldest uncle from my dad’s side worked there in the bedsheets section and often welcomed us to visit him there.
Together with Thomson Plaza, the old Isetan store and later on Plaza Singapura… it was a must visit shopping area for residents.
The grand old modernised lady still packs a mean punch in the electrical and home appliances household goods area.
Its mini food court is also well patronized by food lovers.
The Tangs Marriott hotel is of course another well received new addition to the family!

Feel that Tangs at HarbourFront does not have the Christmas Spirit of Tangs at Orchard Road of years ago…it feel like just another shop. Or maybe because I have aged.

I came there with a family of five on friday afternoon, the auntie who helped me to choose my perfume (Marc Jacob) was super helpful! She gave me alot of freebies! Her customer service is tip top! It’s not the freebies that was good, she was very patience with me and my family! She dont give smirks and attitude!
However the china lady cashier was super rude, i was directed by the auntie to follow her for payment though i went to a different entrance of queue. This china lady cashier raised her eyebrows at me and asked “What is it!” So shocked by her service! My stuffs was brought to the cashier by the auntie but she couldn’t even be bothered to ask the auntie who was infact there!
If she doesnt want to work there, she might as well quit! Cashier asked me for my Tangs card as i was searching for the card – she lost her patience and proceed to ask me for my hp number. I have to be like a goon to take out all my cards when infact she can asked for my mobile number to begin with! Why make the customer go through her hassle? Also according to her my Tangs card expired and she renewed for me despite i said no to renew. She told me “It’s renewed automatically!”
So shocked by her behaviour! She could have learnt alot from the auntie who served me!
To the management: Please look into this. Should raise the auntie salary as she really deserve it! The cashier sucks so bad!

Being a shopper member of Tangs, there were a number of special deals and member rebates throughout the year. Got my Braun shaver, Dunhill EDP, shorts, casual pants, T-shirts(Lantona)… from Tangs for 2021 and more to come as I look forward to their regular sales or customer rebates. Also bought some nice Japanese bowls for my daughter’s new home. Never short of choices whether for individual, home, children or family needs.

1.Lojel luggage Male promoter with a blonde dye hair at the top of this hair , his service was so good and friendly . Even tho it’s a weekend and a lot of patrons enquiring about Lojel, he never once shown and negative energy .
2. Petite Chinese lady with specs at the cashier . Omg how helpful she is . So friendly and helpful .
3. Malay big size male at customer service , he is kind and friendly .

SPECIAL RECOGNITION absolutely must go out to my new friends DEE DEE, NASUHA AND KEN CHIN…I was in the market for a really nice tie and had the pleasure of being assisted by these exemplary employees…the time and attention which was given allowed me to happily purchase over a dozen ties in the end…and I absolutely had the best time buying ties EVER!!! Any and all questions I had were quickly addressed which allowed me to finish all my tie shopping at once…the quality of the ties were amazing…the prices were well within reason…would so come back here!
Found this store quiet interesting. Has everything a department store normally sells with a few unique singapore items. Very easy to wander around, worth a visit.

Tangs is one of my favourite place for window shopping and buy small unique things. High class with an average price. There are numerous wellknown sports brand, men’s wear, kids toy, female fashion, kitchen utensils have their products sold here
Friendly staff but less variety of products compared to the Orchard outlet.
Well organized but tight walkways especially at the upper level. Prices are normal unless it’s rebates day.
Saw sale on a Sunday but the shop was closing at Vivocity. 2 days later i went to Orchard Tangs… the shoes were normal price, I asked about the sale the staff said it was over and there was no more promotions. The next day I ended up returning to Vivocity and the same shoes were on sale … I spoke to the assistant and showed them my receipts .. after pleading my case and offering to return the shoes to get the discount, they gave me the discount after confirming my receipt and my credit card …. so all went well … I cannot fault Vivocity for their service but I shouldn’t have had to do that when I’d already checked to see if there was a promotion.
The staff said it was island wide and that the Orchard Tangs would have known about the sale but ignored my request to inform me of the promotion.

My hubby and I were at Tangs Vivocity on 1 May at 11.15am. Excellent service was experienced from start to end. Was at the pots section buying pots and helped by a kind Chinese female staff (which we forgot to check her name) and Ben. Followed by when we bought a tissue holder. An elderly Chinese female staff served us. (Again we forgot to check her name). And finally Edmond helped to transfer the bulky items that we bought to our car. Very courteous, patient and helpful service from all. A big thank you for the excellent service. – Zaid and Lina.

Their ongoing sale is phenomenal. I bought so many things, I had to buy extra check-in luggage. Staff are very attentive, without being pushy with their sales.

One of the best malls in Singapore. Base have a big selection of Kitchenware and appliances from different brands to choose from. Varieties of High end cosmetics and perfumes sections are available on Level 1. Usually crowded on the weekends but still it’s worth going to this place for your needs.
