Worth the price for the quality of food served (for this outlet). Scallop is fresh, restaurant is clean, service is good. Nothing much to complain about.
for that price, decent quality. clean environment and not overly cramp
Love this place. Food is nice and servers are very friendly.
Though same chain. In my humble opinion, food range, choices and service better than tampines hub.
Even my jap-fanatic hubby also loves it. Must try for the no-frillers.
Well sanitised, no fuss, and friendly staff. The items are value for money and the hot water (for the tea) is free flow. The miso soup is nice. Look out for the new and premium items! Yum!
I ate before dinner rush, have space not crowded and plentiful of choices and they kept typing up
Ok
queuing time was reasonable, gd amount of salmon sushi and sashimi precautions were taken for covid. only thing is they didn’t ask whether I wanted their miso soup or not but nothing much to complain about.
delicious, new item’s …
Nice and attentive staff. Food was value for money and had enough of a variety to choose from!
Always loved Sushi Express as they keep reviewing their sushi varieties. But the waiting time is so long! And they don’t serve ginger automatically, you need to request for it, and even then the portion is very small. The slices of sashimi seem to get thinner and thinner. Also no more salmon roe and sea urchin sushi at the Bedok Hub outlet. Quite sad.. Used to be my favourite place!
Nice place to shop & eat.. …
Good n situated conveniently located near Bedok Heartbeat
Not bad just that don’t have much variety and also they don’t serve Chawanmushi. The hot water dispenser for the tea was quite tough to press too.
Staff isn’t well prepared. Asked for item, not given. Stand outside queuing, no staff entertained, even though the restaurant is not super crowded. Left before eating full, tired of waiting for the item requested.
Conveyor belt sushi outlet. Portions are bite sized, value for money. Limited seating. During peak meal times, especially over the weekends, be prepared to wait at least 30mins or more. They only have two 4 adult-seater avaliable, the rest are counter seats. Unpopular items keep going round the conveyor belt, request for items not on the belt so you get food thats freshly made
My husband and I love coming to this branch because the business is brisk and the turnover rate of the sushi items is high.
The staff members are nice too, they gave us the aburi sushi when we didn’t have much luck getting if off the conveyor belt!
…
Cheap and good service
Nice env and good sushi all round.
Expensive, bad, I don’t really want to go again
贵了,差了,不是很想再去
Value for money!
Nice
$1.50 for most dishes. But expect long queue during lunch and dinner hours
Edible sushi slightly above average.
Special items rotate regularly. Selection is good for the price.
It has some good sushi and variety of sushi dishes.I would say it is an affordable price for occasional visits.
This sushi place is located at the new Heartbeat @ Bedok, the only thing good is the price. At $1.50 per plate, it is pretty cheap compared to other places. However, variety is pretty limited but does have the usual salmon. Quality is ok, good for a quick meal but not worth shouting about.
Staff are friendly and efficient. Usual standard as other sushi express. If you’ve been to one, you’ve been to all; only difference will probably only be the staff.
Staff pretty much busy and couldn’t handle the crowd. Order 2 plate of Waygu beef sushi that takes 45 minutes to come. Service is very bad, planning is worst.
Fresh and friendly staff, conveniently located at Heartbedok
Bought the Salmon Aburi sushi along with other variety from this outlet yesterday evening. Took a bite and had to throw the entire box of sushi away, believe the fish has gone bad. …
I was here last evening alone. Not much things I like on the conveyor belt, and some items are sold out. I ordered 4 plates of aburi salmon, had the miso soup. I also tried the Unagi sushi and abalone slices. The aburi salmon sushi is my favourite.
I hope to be able to sit near the kitchen next time. Shall request this in my future visit. Overall I had an enjoyable meal. I noticed they have many promotions for takeaway currently.
Date visited: 27 Sep 2021
Cheap n good n fast
Nice sushi and deserts all $1.50
Very affordable sushi
Not much choice N I visit few time I had never see tuna sushi…but they post pic tuna…
Er. I think price point good. Sushi wise, very common/normal but good for this price point … For speciality sushi have to go other places. Price will be more expensive
Love the Miso soup and fuss free dining experience
This is our go-to place for sushi! Love the food, place and service.
Staff sometimes forget our order :’)
Great food
This is a new outlet in bedok. Food is as per usual sushi express standard at the usual $1.5 per plate.
They seem abit under staffed on weekends.
Oh yes getting more variety n friendly staff enjoy the sushi yeah …
More varieties recently.
Nice food
Acceptable quality sushi at a very good price. The salted caramel bean curd dessert is good.
Nice
Good food
The sushis here are the most affordable in Singapore, and the quality of the food is pretty decent.
Seems variety lesser
Great service and always well stocked!
This outlet is one of our faves.
Food price is reasonable n it is near toy place.
Nice
Spacious setting and convenient to get to.
Cheap but variety of sushi on belt is not alot.
Nice and cheap sushi
Just Fast food Sushi. Quick.
Reasonably priced sushi. Selection sometimes quite limited. Seats available if you come before 6pm. Gets crowded after 6.30pm, where queuing is needed.
Food and service quality improve significantly. Mdm Chua is simply awesome!
Only @1.50 per plate….Food not best
Always a supporter of Sushi Express. Food quality is alright for the price. If you are looking at light bites with variety of choice, this is the right place to go.
Do expect to queue for seats at peak hours. On a side note, I have high respect for most branch managers as they are all hard workers.
Cheap place to try the Sushi.
Delicious and affordable!
好吃,價格實惠!
Good quality, good price.
Service is a bit slow so be patient. Overall food is still acceptable.
Very nice place always love to come here and enjoy endless amount of sushi until I wanna die
Prices and food portions have now been adjusted, it is now hard to recommend it to anybody.
Terrible service by a philipino service staff. Insist we must sit according to the seats allocated though the restaurant was very empty at 4pm during weekend. Food range very limited. Same food running on the belt, had to ask staff to make this n that. First time there and definitely my last time there with my family. Really sucks !
Value for money!
Need to go early. Very crowded.
Great improvement in their food selection and quality. Wonderful!
Good variety of food. The wait for the food we want is not too long
Affordable sushi. Quality and variety has dropped though. However, still acceptable and would visit often for my cravings as I do not wish to pay 300% the price for 30% higher in quality elsewhere.
(The outlets products came from a central kitchen/supply source)
*Update: They started innovating/launching many non-traditional sushi flavours to test their popularity, none made it to permanent menu. Missed the mixed beans/raisins topping of inarizushi (rice in sweet tao pok skin)
*Update 2: Seems like the outlet staff have learnt to estimate the demand for various sushi varieties, managed to get most items I want from the belt without ordering.
Just very ordinary sushi.
Nice sushi place
Wow nice service and taste good..
Nice place to quickly grab your sushi cravings. $1.50 per sushi. Unlimited hot tea.
Very cheap though. You can associate all your opinions with that yourself. But still edible.
The food is affordable and nice
Nice place to eat what you like until they count the plates.
good food very good customer service
Staff friendly. Prices are very cheap. Place was clean and not too crowded.
However, the food wasn’t great and the fish was sour.
Personally, won’t go bzck again.
The caramelized sushi was way way too sweet. But besides that everything else tasted good.
Now it has changed to Hoshino Coffee Shop.
今は星野珈琲店に変わりました。
A fuss free sushi train dining experience. You pay for what you get in terms of quality and variety. No complains. There is a 90min time limit for diners.
Very nice place always love to come here and enjoy endless amount of sushi until I wanna die
Not many varities compare to others outlets
Love it! Comfort food n favorite hang out!
We had a miscommunication on our order but the manager at his peak hour made an extra mile to deliver our food right to our door / house so my children can be fed.
What an amazing service! We are so impressed!!!
Food is edible, clean and fast. Affordable price. I come here once a week just to enjoy the sushi.
Loved the whelk sashimi
$1 per plate. I don’t think it’s yummy.
一皿1ドル。ウマイとは思えない。
Quick sushi meal. Prompt service. Queued a little bit due to safe distancing measure, less sitting capacity.
Son loves their cooked prawn sushi, while his friend looks the egg sushi. I just eat whatever came through the belt. $1.50 a plate, some premium one more expensive.
Overall a great quick sushi meal. Won’t win any Michelin star, but a comfortable and chic environment to grab some sushi.
Inexpensive sushi on conveyor belt.
Fresh sushi
‘Express’ it when you are hungry and simply want quick, easy, reasonable sushi in an interestingly expressive way.
Just keep in mind that the person on your right doesn’t share your palate else the wait for your picks is marginally delayed 😉
Decent sushi with cheap price.
The sushimi is so fresh yet worth the price.
food taste nicer n more variety compared to Parkway Branch.
Recommend to try : Miso soup with Salmon
Lady finger with Sesame sauce
Abalone slice
I guess this is an ok place to eat small plates of sushi. Not particularly cheap nor tasty. The only thing that stood out for me is the $3 yellow plate mango crepe
food is normal la but service is excellent. always had a great meal here
It’s also good to eat here
Enak juga makan disini
So far so good
Service not impressive. Food just average. But price is attractive.
reasonable quality sushi but the selection is pathetic! requests for food not on the belt takes a long time!
Best sushi shop I have ever eaten in
Budget sushi but it tend to get too crowded at peak
Wow, show your Safra card, $2.50 off every 20 plates!
Price increased recently due to airising cost but overall still affordable.
Understaffed, visited at 3pm plus and ordered 2 times Chuka Idako from 2 different staffs and sad that till the end also never serve it to us.
It was good experience with new taste
Great service. Attended by a Vietnam lady. Came over to check why am I not getting any food on the tray proactively, and went ahead to assist with the explicit order.
Great value, no fuss. Efficient service
Love the place and their food especially aburi….
Reasonably priced & sanitory environment
Great service and always well stocked!
This outlet is one of our faves.
Great place to eat sushi
Mostly good. Have been coming here for years. However they are closing much earlier nowadays compared to pre-COVID and also don’t come during off peak hours as the food can get bad
Still one of the more value for money and good array of sushi. Seems to be understaffed and will take a while to get anyone’s attention. Fresh ingredients is a plus!
A bit expensive, but nice.
Cheap price. Quality so so.
The salmon sashimi has reduced to 2 slices per plate which was a bummer, but i dont detect any drop in the salmon sashimi quality! Fulfilled my sashimi cravings and left satisfied 😀 The queue moved reasonably fast and the wait was around 15-30 mins which isnt too bad.
good to eat
not expensive
好吃
不贵
Great sushi at affordable prices! Seasonal selections (such as the mentaiko scallop) are a MUST-TRY.
Value for money. They are constantly revamping their menu keeping it fresh! Prices are good too recommended
Not much choices esp when nearing to the closing time.
Is cheap and what you expect for what you pay
Location was easy great.
Staff were friendly & professional.
Restaurant was clean & spacious.
Cheap n good!
Calling your takeaway at 9 o’clock in the evening is really not as good as in the afternoon. And your sashimi has white worms. I ordered it once before and it was all very fresh, but I was really disappointed when I ordered it tonight. I really dare not eat your sashimi anymore.
9点晚上叫你们的外带,真的没有下午的水准。而且你们的生鱼片有白生的虫。以前叫过一次全部很新鲜,今晚叫的真的很失望。真的不敢吃你们的生鱼片了。
Good portions and selections.
Not bad.
If you’re simply just craving for standard sushi, have a budget, don’t require anything fancier (wooden plate, chef serves it to you personally, etc.), I’d say it’s not bad at all.
There is a very specific instruction you could follow at your desks. Cutleries, wasabi, ocha, are all self-served but put down nicely. You can’t miss it!
It has quite a number of varieties (I wouldn’t say it is a huge one but it’s decent), and the quality is not bad (I did actually find one sushi that really has that fishy smell).
Would consider this as a fast food sushi joint due to the sushi train concept, minus its “fast-food” unhealthiness.
It is definitely a value for money for $1.5/plate.
1.50 for a plate, kind of the cheapest you can find in SG have a wide variety of dishes.
Good food, nice environment and friendly staffs
Not too long wait (10mins) for my family on a Sunday evening. Prices are up but still like the sushi belt where I can choose my favorite dish. Too bad until now, no credit card promotion.
Staff not friendly. Food is OK.
Too crowded. Sushi not that fresh, but value for money
Nice alot of choice the day I went. Friendly staff helped on wheelchair access. …
Simple eating. Good food fast in and out
Still one of the more value for money and good array of sushi. Seems to be understaffed and will take a while to get anyone’s attention. Fresh ingredients is a plus!
Nice place but after a while choices become limited
Normal economic sushi
This week around Tuesday, me and my friend were eating there in the afternoon around 12+. At that time I rmb there was a lady in bangs who is doing her duty around that time. My friend wanted the miso soup but at that moment he forgot what type of soup. So when he ask the lady on duty at that time, he ask can I have the soup? He was just about to elaborate. But then the lady on duty replied “what?” in a very rude manner. What a bad service.
Affordable prices, rotation of variety on the belt tend to be slow
Nothing special
Good food n nice food n cozy
always been cheap and nice. Suitable for regular lunch
Love it
Sashimi with mayo is nice.
Ok
I like the seared salmon nigiri very much.
Manager ( mohawk hairstyle) is friendly and customer oriented. Food selection need to ” camp ” for it. Those not on the belt, can request thru the servers.
Cheap good fast
Near MRT station. Good value, good variety. Nice staff.
Wide variety food and clean, comfortable atmosphere.
Value for money, clean and friendly staff.
Always love the belt experience, however choices or options are limited on the belt. Have to order non belt items to make it more fulfilling.
For 1.50 a plate I’ll say it’s great sushi
During COVID-19, the place was still packed. Gross could suit together but were separated by one chair and a sneeze guard. It’s food is ok but i prefer to grab my 2x sashimi from Giant, NTUC or Umi Sushi instead of the 1x sashimi a plate. The variety I preferred (vegetarian) were far and few, but special requests could be made.
There is free flowing tea, and pickled ginger slices, all plates were $1.50.
Cheap n good
Nice sushi. Went during off peak and service is good
Organized and hygenic. Service is good.
Awesome staff and food!
Best place to eat sushi
Not fresh
Cheap and good sushi found here. Lots of varieties. Recommended to all. But prepare to queue for a while.
Soso for the price
가격대비 쏘쏘해용
Loved it.
Getting from bad to worse. Service staff can’t handle crowd. Kitchen can’t handle food order. requested Caramelised Salmon, floor staff told me have. kitchen said fish haven’t arrive. 10mins later told me kitchen preparing fish now. 5-10mins will be ready. I think they saw me writing a bad review. 2nd staff came and told me will be ready in 5mins.
Love their sushi… 1.65 sgd for 1 plate… i think the cheapest sushi in sg
So far so good. Expect to wait for a seat if you come with more than 2 person. Food is ok for $1.50 per plate.
Always crowded
Big love
大爱 …
Food is fresh & resturant is clean… just the dessert is frozen (cheese cake) …
Fast food
Sushi at a cheap price, and comes with free flow of green tea.
I suggest they start selling maguro(tuna)
Cheap and easy to access sushi.
Usually crowded due to the affordable price, and reasonably good food quality. Come here if you crave for variety of sushi, sashimi, deserts served via belt yet do not want to pay a premium. Each plate is flat rate to SGD1.50, some seasonal premium item may cost two plate, which is equal to SGD3. Still dirt cheap.
Delivery set of 38 pieces is so good and worthy, just removed from their menu
Very nice range of different sushi and though it’s crowded at times, it is still not noisy 😀
Nice place and the sushi is delicious.
Visiting them once every 2 months. Love that Sushi Express always have new items.
I think overall it’s fine, just that perhaps it’s the holiday season and they were a little shorthanded.
PERFECT
Food is OK and reasonably priced.
A sushi restaurant that children like to patronize very much. The dining environment is good, the price is high, the food is fresh, and there will be no waste. Suitable for individual and family dining, highly recommended.
小朋友很喜欢光顾的一家寿司店。用餐环境佳,性价比高,食料新鲜,又不会浪费。适合个人及家庭用餐,值得推荐。
my kids it …
Simple and convenient location after a good workout at heartbeat!
If you want a booth seat for two, they only open it up after 9pm

Super delicious food at a great price!
Super leckeres Essen zu einem tollen Preis!
I always find new menu in sushi express and excited to try them. My favorite always sashimi, fresh and thick cut. The service was quite fast n responsive. Sometimes i ask about new menu & they are willing to explain it.
Economical sushi
Cheap and nice. Comes up with new menu often as well
Seasonal white rabbit milk pudding was no go.
Very crowded during COVID-19 outbreak, must be very nice food
Efficient service but sometimes don’t have the food item you want.
Economical, clean n HAPPY place
Cheap Sushi, worth the wait!
Food wise still acceptable. However, after 9pm they won’t be making any fresh food on the sushi belt. Even you requested and wait up to 10-15min and the food is not even serve.
Not the best sushi but price was reasonable. Always crowded at all time. Side note: Cream puff and salmon miso soup was the best imo must order! …
Could do better with more variatons on the convevyer belt
Fresh shashimi with cheap price
Nice ambience. Great service staff. Fresh and cheap Japanese food. That should sums things up. Lol..
Delicious
Nice
Online ordering is much more expensive than dine in, even with the pickup discount. Online menu is also limited.
Ginger came packed in the long plastic bag meant for drinks – makes it look disgusting. They could have packed it in a small container.
Tried to order more items when I went to pickup since online menu was limited. Unfortunately, staff was informed by staff that the item is not avail for takeaway (even though I had previously done a takeaway on the same item before) and anyways I had a hard time trying to make an order so I gave up.
It WAS my favourite place to dine.
Inexpensive, delicious, lots of choices, good service

Cheap and good
Yummy selection of sushi …
Great price for good sushi…. recommended for families with children. Most are good but there is a con, i feel like there isn’t many choices of sushi there
Been around for as long as I remembered. For when you just want a quick fuss free ‘Japanese’ meal. Not cheap, but still nonetheless pretty reasonable. The miso soup is my all-time favourite, it is not available on the belt, you will have to make the order with the staff. Try it and i am sure you will love it! Try to avoid peak periods, or else you will be queueing up under the semi-sheltered hot sun ;’)
miso soup is so awesome with salmon meat and tofu
Went with friends to Bedok outlet.Fast seating arrangement. Conveyor belt was filled with sushi bt pls put more salmon sashimi on the belt as well as mentai salmon sushi.
It gave the stuff we wanted
Always my choice for light meals or high tea
