This piers lead you to St John Island. You need o take a ferry from Marina South Pier and it costs you $18 for adult ticket and $12 for children (aged 1-12). The ride is about 50 minutes and you can take photos about the near by islands. From the Pier, you can see Singapore’s Shentonway skyscaper offices. I would propose to stay overnight on the island to take the beautiful nightscape of Singapore. You can book holiday bungalows via Singapore Land Authority (SLA); Contact number: 6323 9829.

If you just want to explore the island in a day, take the first ferry at 10.00am and the last boat is 3pm. The trip back to Singapore from the Pier is via Kusu Island stop over for 1 hour. Hence, you should reach Singapore land by 5pm. If you missed the last ferry, good luck! You will need to stay over on the island or make special arrangement to get back to main land. It can be costly though.

Some things to note: Do wear long pants to cover legs to prevent mosquito bites. Be self sufficient as there is not food vendors on the island. Bring lots of water/food and be ready to picnic. There are shelters on the island where you can take cover should there be rain. Travel in groups for safety.

A great place to visit and stroll along the fringes of the islands. A must visit is the pristine beach at the Seringat Island, where it is a hidden haven for swimming. However, there are not many shelters around so it is highly recommended to bring umbrella and apply sun tan lotion in the day.

Away from the city of Singapore, there is such a beautiful sea. There are no restrooms on the island, so you need water, food and a beach mat. The beach on the backside is the best, just 15 minutes walk from the ferry terminal.

Not a lot to see, but the landing point on St John’s Island coming from Singapore. It’s nice to wander around, quite peaceful & relaxing.

There are no facilities here, not even vending machines. To escape the city & chaos it’s worth taking the ferry. The views on the way across are impressive, as are those looking back.

St John Island is a island south of Singapore main island. It is now joined to Lazarus Island and Seringat Island. There are holiday bungalows and holiday camps there. Besides that there is nothing else. F & B is virtually non existence. There are a few beaches and foot paths leads to most ends of the islands.

Cool beach place. Most importantly, protect yourself from direct sunlight – burn instantly! Take a sheet or a blanket with you to make an awning or a canopy on the beach. Sticks for this can be found in the forest.
There are many cats on the island. They are fed by local workers. You can also meet monitor lizards.

Basic but efficient… Look out for which cruise ferry (Color of your ticket denotes which ferry service you are on) you need to get on….. The departing ferry could be a long wait and queue.

    Singapore trip today
    Came to ST John Island
If you are a person who likes to play and swim in the sea
    Don’t miss this place!

    It’s a pity I didn’t bring a swimsuit
The sea here is clear emerald green
The white fine sand is soft and comfortable to step on

You need to bring your own drinks and food when you come here, and you can sleep in the gazebo after swimming. It is very leisurely ~ there are many cats on the island, you can play with them. Take the car to the MRT station Marina south pier, and you can buy a ticket at the yellow counter. SGD 18 can go to two islands. It’s a great der️

    今天的新加坡之行
    來到了ST John Island

A great place for spending at least half a day with your family and kids. Though not many activities to do here, you can take a nice stroll in a natural setup, away from city life. John’s has its own beach but would recommend Lazarus island beach, where water is as clean as what you can find at other famous beaches, with white sand. No shops so remember to carry your own food and water. Restroom is located close to Jetty.

Visited the 3 linked islands on the day we were flying back to Europe (11:00 am & 15:00 pm ferries ) so we actually wished we´d had more time. Its a nice boat trip from Marina South Pier to St John Island, about 30mins and only $18 adult return. Whilst there´s not much there having already enjoyed the boat ride, the Islands ended up to our surprise being a nice place to have a good walk and a swim. By crossing over the walkway to Lazarus Island there´s a superb semi-circular beach linking to Seringat Island. We made the mistake of thinking we could walk back from the beach anti clockwise, round the Island. You cant because after 30 min´s walking there´s a small canal cutting the path, so had to about turn….a good walk all the same with great views back to the CBD.

Under construction until the end of 2018. To be avoided in the meantime because it is not possible to visit the island of Saint John. Only the island of kuzu which is connected to it by a passage.
The private boat that serves as a ferry is out of date.
No convenience on site to provide water and food.
