It is easy and quick to get a ticket to St John/Kusu here in spite of there are queuing lines. You could also rent carter ferry to Sisters Islands.
Need to be more organized. Boats are big but were crawling with cockroaches. Other than that, a rather pleasant journey to the islands surrounding mainland Singapore. The islands, on the other hand, need better signage and amenities.

It’s our first time going to Lazarus & St John’s island! The ticket redemption was simple and smooth! We booked the 1pm Ferry on A Saturday and there were ample number of seats! The ride was smooth sailing nothing rocky! There was also aircon on the ferry so we are comfortable! The was no queue to get on the ferry, everything was quick and well managed! The Ferry is also clean! Highly recommend this to everyone!
Booked tickets online, arrived 30mn before Departure, smooth redemption on site, BUT queuing for more than an hour to board our ferry, and it has departed because many people came on the wrong timing/date. The queue are also not well organized with people skipping queue or do as they please…. So we end up waiting for the next ferry even though we were on time and proceeded as indicated…..
Good white sand beach
The customer service is excellent and the ferry is clean and spacious . The crew member is very friendly and helpful and I love the trip to St John Island as it is very comfortable and I will definitely recommend because the ferry is really good and it is worth the money for a short trip to see the beautiful side of St John Island .

Nowadays the boat trip gotta stop at St John island first, so it took about 45min to reach Kusu island. But went returning to Singapore, it is just 15min.
The place is peaceful and quiet if you know what time to go. The person in charge at the Chinese temple is nice and friendly. Their temple dog, a corgi, clean and nicely groomed can be seen walking around within the premises.
Be prepared to arm yourself with mosquito repellent and beware of the monkeys from stealing your food too. Lots of turtles and monitor lizards.

With the COVID situation currently, this tour agency offers an alternative by travelling domestically to these unpopulated islands. However, food hunting may be an issue when visiting these locations.
It’s a great getaway for Singapore People to get onboard on a Ferry and see islands of Singapore. It was pretty convenient for the ticket booking online and Staff was helpful after reaching at the booth. Would love to visit again.
Good nad easy
Singapore’s Southern Islands are only a 30 min ferry ride away! You can easily book your tickets online and arrive 25 mins before your trip. SIC were very flexible too – I had booked for a Thursday and needed to move my trip to a Wednesday and they happily obliged. Ferries are air conditioned and you can even enjoy the open deck on the 2 deck ferries. Overall a convenient way to get out of Singapore without really getting out there’s a 20% discount on tix now too with the code 20OFF.

The southern islands were great, but I’ve since learned that I do, in fact, get quite violently seasick.
I could easily book the tickets online and on the day itself, the ticket collection at the booth was so convenient and i managed to get my tickets within 5 minutes!
The weather was great for a day trip and the ferry ride is smooth and safe!

It’s a full day outing, children love it. Just carry your food and water and plan a picnic amidst nature, away from the city hustle and bustle.
Booking and exchanging tickets is fuss free. The ferry ride is air-conditioned and comfortable. We were leaving the island and reached the port 30 minutes early, the staff allowed us to board earlier to enjoy the cooling air-conditioner. Good service!

I had a great experience. The whole process of booking the ticket online and collecting it on the day of travel was really easy and hassle free. I went to the Southern Islands with my kid and was carrying a stroller, but the crew was very cooperative and helped me in boarding the stroller in no time. The ferry was punctual and the ride was smooth. This was my first visit to St. John’s and Lazarus island, and we had a great time exploring the place. Loved the lush green vegetation, turquoise green water, and white sand. It was a visual treat for the eyes.

Be warned that no where on their website does it say that both St. John’s island and Kushu island are closed, they don’t tell you when you buy a ticket either. The only thing you can do is walk on Lazarus island and go to the beach and swim. Again be warned, the left half of the beach is strewn with washed up plastic, the water is ok but very murky. There is nothing at all open on Kushu you can not even sit anywhere with a sea view. This will not change till sometime next year.

We went for the island-hopping experience on 8 November 2021, and it was amazing!
The process of booking the tickets online was effortless, and easy to navigate, and during the process of heading to the islands, the ferrymen were helpful and efficient in ushering the people on and off the boats, and the different ferries arrived at each destination on time.
At each destination, we were given ample time to explore on our own and the views were awesome. Despite running into some rain at one of the islands, which forced us to find shelter, the remaining time spent was great. Would definitely do it again! ️

Kusu Island my favorite among the Southern Islands. The Chinese temple is beautiful, and I love the tortoises found around the island. The area around the Malay shrine found on top of the hill needs to cleaned up, though. It can get very hot as well on the island; bring lots of water.

I took the 10 am ferry to St John’s island and the earliest ferry back is at 3 pm. If you don’t intend to stay too long on the island, I’d recommend taking a later ferry out.
The ferry left Marina South Pier earlier than 10 am though. The ride took around 15-20 mins so I actually reached St John’s at 10 am

My husband, daughter, and I took the ferry on the last day of September from Marina South Pier to Kusu Island. I love that all I have to do is take a 20 min ferry ride from Singapore Island Cruises and I’ll be in my own slice of Sandy heaven. The ferry itself is super clean!

Booked through Fave and almost denied tickets on desk claiming “all sold out” even though the T&Cs didnt state prior reservstion. Other than that the trip was short and straightforward
It’s very easy to buy tickets online, took me less than 5 mins to go. If you want to explore all the islands it’s better to go early in the morning and bring some snacks for yourself. They don’t have shops in the island so bring water to keep yourself hydrated!

I’ve tried booking a ticket for tomorrow and the website did not prevent bookings for past slots. After calling once on the emergency number without solution, I gave a review then received a clarification by call saying they were busy and only handle emergency, and I can still use the ticket.
