A very relax place to stay. Lovely pool using spring water and the beach directly opposite the resort. The room is simple but very clean and comfortable bed. Very good resort for family with children.

Booked a level 2 family room.

Power outlets situated at awkward places and none at bedside table. And not enough.

Great tall glass windows but was not clean on the outside. Algae covered. If clean, it will be have an excellent view.

    No face towels.

There is a glass door stopper on the floor at the only basin around. We accidentally kicked them a few times. Extremely weird position. Design issue.

Badly need a facelift on the interior.

    Will explore more today.

    Very green hotel… cooling… trees around us….

    Will update.

One of the worst vacation experience I ever had in my life. My friends joined me for the stay after I convinced them, however the staff and service made it very embarrassing experience wherein no heed was given to room services. No hand wash, no shower dispenser. When requested for cutlery, disposable cutlery was provided without plates. A big disaster in hotel management practices. After multiple calls and requests no response. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. 100 percent a place you don’t want to be for a vacation.

Luckily we found this room at a cheaper price in comparison to other local hotels. Room was clean, breakfast was varied of western and Asian dishes where we had a peacock and monitor lizard join us too!

Staff at front desk were lovely and helpful however when we asked staff working the grounds questions such as; how can we get to the beach? Or is there a bar available for the pool? We just got blank stares. This happened on 3 separate occasions during our 1 night stay.

Would go back as value for money is great but staff definitely need to be educated in ot ignoring customers.

Feeling very eco when staying here and enjoyed the easy access to the rest of Sentosa. Nice spring water waterfall that makes you feel rejuvenated when dipping into the spring water. Good for all ages to have fun and relax in this eco environment that has greenery over most of the premises

Although a little run down, the place is definitely convenient, and the staff there are amazing. Really appreciate the service, and also how they are very inclusive, where they hire staff with special needs. If you’re looking for a humble resort getaway, this is the place!

The worst hotel to stay in at Sentosa. The worst housekeeping and pathetically maintained rooms. Our room had ants and cobwebs all over the room (no exagerration) and had to see three rooms before we could shift to a room with lesser ants and was less dirty. The worst was, that instead of being apologetic for their shortcomings, the staff says that I should be ok to stay in such rooms at eco friendly hotels. They had to be told about the experiences of other eco hotels for them to believe that this nonsense is not acceptable. Had to ask for the towels to be changed. The bathroom doors wouldn’t close, no jetpipe in bathrooms as well, Poor a/c quality, Pathetic food menu options, Poor quality linens, there are no napkins in the rooms and the reason is all the more hilarious; apparently a couple of napkins went missing and the owner decided to discontinue napkins from all rooms. The list is just the endless. Hope this review helps you in avoiding a spoilt holiday.

Nice hotel for a stay in Santosa beach itself. Some staff is good, some where not cooperative. Only top floor has rooms directly facing the sea, rest all rooms though sea facing have garden’s tall trees in middle to hamper the view.

Rooms are somewhat dated but clean. Pool is really wonderful but you have to go all the way to reception for towels (pool is never staffed). Also the lobby is awful and does the whole hotel a disservice. Breakfast is actually pretty high quality but again facilities are somewhat tired.

After reading many bad reviews, we were a bit sceptical of the hotel. Just come with an open mind without expectations. Though the hotel seems really different from other hotels as there were only aircon in the Recep area and the rooms itself and check in was slow due to holidays (checked in 1hr later than supposed). Staff were generally good and had an interesting water system where we had to refill our bottles at the Recep ourselves if we needed additional water and they only provided 2 bottles of water per day. The views in the room was nice as we could see the beach and since I stayed at the 2nd floor, the beach was only a minute away. It does not feel like SG and was a good stay overall

For the prices paid to be here, and for being on a resort, I was very underwhelmed when I didn’t see what I expected from looking at their website. Although the bottom floor’s staff was very helpful (I also love how those with disabilities are treated well with work options here as stated in their info book), the receptionist talked way too fast, quiet, and seemed like he was trying to get me out of there.

Not to mention, on my way up inconveniently to the 8th floor to the reception, the elevator didn’t work right despite pressing the button 3 times. The corridors, despite understanding the “eco” vibe, looked dirty. The pool also was not as pretty as pictured with hammocks having moss grown on them, the chair cushions looked unsanitary, and the pool looking a bit dirty. Also, the “gym” by the poolside is just a tiny little room with a bit more than 5 old equipment with a slightly moldy smell.

Finally, for my room, as expected of Singapore, is small for it’s price compared to hotels Ive been in other countries. I found tiny hairs in the bathroom, the mirror had an odd looking black smudge on it, the tv has a blue line of screen damage, and I wished the bed and bedside deawers had a something to stop them from rolling (I almost fell leaning on the drawer as I didnt know it could move). My window view is a little stretch of the roof of the floor downstairs filled with a pile of wilted leaves.

I would say my room service was well. He was friendly and helpful. The food here is ok. The Siloso Burger had too much sauce, making the burger soggy. The meat also seemed like it was steamed or microwaved as it tasted and felt more like meatloaf than a grilled burger patty.

The room was worse than a dingy motel. When it rained, water poured down the wall facing the bed….on the inside of the room. The bathroom was sad. They called it a superior room. I dread to think what a non superior room would be like.
They have a customer service email but no one ever replies even after repeated reminders.

Most lousy resort.m in Sentosa. Total waste of money and felt so cheated! Overall hotel interior was poorly maintained and dirty.
Don’t understand why it can be listed as 4 star hotel. Checked in after 5pm. Room aircon was broken and room was stuffy. Couldn’t sleep at night had to check out at 3am. Best part Expedia only compensate us $50 voucher to offset next booking. Go at your own risk.

At a glance I thought this place is the heaven. The reception seems to be very odds and authentic. The scenery of swimming pool is very natural and heaven like, not like typical other mordern hotels’ ones.
We got upgraded from delux to family room. I did really appreciate that.

The resort is beautiful. Although room is simple, kid likes; the nature environment is a plus. Spring water Swimming pool is nice and full of fun. Can see toucan flying in the resort and monitor lizard crossing the bushes location is great ; Just 1 min walking to Siloso beach. And near Sky park & cable car station. A Sentosa shuttle bus stop is in front of Resort.
The view from Roofgarden is stunning.

Staff is friendly and helpful!! Will come back next time.

This resort was the first ever in my life where i see that sustainability comes over customer service. The staff is so rude and stubborn. They provide only 500ml water per day for 1 person and expect you to go all the way to the reception to refill your bottles. Even if you are thirsty at night they expect you to go and fill water. Imagine you come to a resort for the weekend to relax and this is what you get on the name of service. I even asked them to provide just normal water maybe in glass bottles and they are not willing to do that either. Their cafeteria is average and breakfast is just ok.The only good thing was the spring water pool but other than that horrible service. Very disappointed and it’s not so cheap. We stayed in a rooftop villa, not a basic room. We payed a high amount for it to get this kind of service. Ridiculous is the word!! Will never go to this resort again.

The room was absolutely filthy, a common theme throughout the rest of the hotel. The location isn’t great and the food experience was ‘interesting’ to say the least, especially supplemented with the strange bugs. Also the rooms were uncomfortable and very hot. Pool looks better in photos than reality. The staff need some big improvement too.

Great experience! There are fancier hotels on the island but this one is great if you would rather have an authentic and natural experience than a typical gilded hotel. Big waterfall goes into a pool that’s longer than you can see. Breakfast buffet is worth the money. Take the free eco tour if you have time.

Maybe other guests had better experiences but our weekend stay was quite forgettable. This resort marketed itself as an eco-friendly destination – the swimming pools were part of the landscape and a natural spring supplied the water for the toilets, among other things. We were also lucky enough to get an ocean-facing room. The service staff at the receptionwere pleasant and efficient despite the crowd.

    Sounds good so far, right?

What started to be a dampener was the lacklustre condition of our room. The sheets did not feel very clean – however no ill-effects felt after the stay, I should clarify. The furnishings, fixtures and furniture had seen better days for sure. Oh well, we were just there for a night so no worries.

In the morning, the scenes at the dining room kinda tipped the scales. Somehow, the layout of the buffet made it such that the queues became undefined, and the cramped dining area got a bit unruly. Certain food items were not replenished often enough. Half of the mess was probably down to the behavior of the guests but overall unfortunately it did not contribute to a pleasant stay. Would think long and hard about going there again.

I haven’t liked a single thing about this resort. Over priced. Room wasn’t clean. There were insects on the table in the room. We were asked to use personal towels for beach visit. No hand towels in the room. There was no person at pool side for safety. Staff was very rude. Before check out, I called reception for luggage pick-up. A lady asked me to leave the big bags outside room and come to reception for check out. I came to reception for check out as per their instructions. When I came for check out, I checked for luggage pick up and lady asked if I called for pick-up. When I said yes, she denied upfront. Then, I requested her for pick up. She said, it will take time. I waited for 10 minutes and checked again, a gentleman at reception said, they have only one person at concierge and he is busy. If you are in hurry get your luggage yourself in very rude manner. My driver was waiting for us from 10 minutes. When I raised concern about the way he was talking to me and asked him to invite the manager, he denied there’s no manager in the resort. When I asked again, he denied and said, they are the only managers and I need to interact with them only. They were very rude and even said, they will call police if I keep in asking for manager. Somehow after another 10 minutes I got my luggage and I boarded the cab along with my luggage and left the resort. I’ll bot recommend this resort to anyone. Staff here is very bad and rude. They don’t know, how to talk to their guests. Overpriced property.

I paid an inflated PH price, and it really didn’t stack up for the price I paid. My opinion would be less scathing i paid 60% less. First, I booked on their direct website and requested a fold up bed for my second son, no reply, and upon arrival they say we don’t have. The room was OK but the powerboard had no cover and live electrical contacts were visible. Breakfast is totally local fare you would get at a hawker centre, for $20 pax!. The place was generally in need of maintenance, but with the labour squeeze this is what you get. The pool is great, a real highlight, my sons were happy for hours each day. The beach is just across the path on level 1, which is also unique for sentosa. There are many beach clubs and free beach access, and an overpriced cafe just there, so location is fantastic. So, don’t pay more that 150++ per night, and you will get value for money.

Room was pretty standard but it’s very much a steal since you’re staying in sentosa. The breakfast waiters and waitresses come from special needs institutions and I’m really happy they employ these people. The resort prioritises eco-friendliness too. Overall a pleasant stay with the beach at your doorstep.

Hotel room and toilet are a little small and the hotel is showing its age, but nevertheless it is comfortable. Love the main pool that seems to be in nature, and enjoyed the entire theme of the hotel, which aims to replicate a setting in nature.

The location if the hotel is the biggest plus point, as all the attractions in Siloso Beach is just within a short walk away. Great view of the ocean if you’re on the higher floors.

I had a company event in Sentosa on 9 Sep and booked a room here for my family staycation. My wife’s birthday month in Sep and I requested some special room arrangement but they replied saying they don’t provide such arrangement on any occasion. This is still ok for me. What is not acceptable, the room condition which old and outdated. The bed was squeaky crank noisy. The worst thing was the aircon is NOT COLD!

Had the most pleasant and relax staying for our 3D2N staycation at SBR Sentosa with a complimentary free upgrade of our room to Deluxe Room. It was our second time here, and I love the fact that the hotel offers very reasonably priced room, and is extremely eco-friendly that I felt totally immersed in nature. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Ms Joyce Tan for her impeccable service for this whole stay. I find her to be knowledgeable and well mannered. Keep up this good service!

Very small rooms… Service is average. They are not really helpful, treat like our business. Not worried about customer satisfaction.
Two entries, one from 8th floor directly and for that you need to come from others side. Another is from beach side, from there need to go 8th for four reception.
You can see lots of ants in room. Beach near to this is also not that great.

Good but salty pool. Lol. Hot jacuzzi. If you stay on the top floor (pricey rooms), they have outdoor balconies with a private jacuzzi and good views). Lower floor rooms are tiny in size and VERY OUTDATED. Maintenance issues everywhere including the common areas.

In 48 hrs, we saw monkeys stealing food from tables during breakfast on the 1st day, and a huge monitaur lizard on the 2nd morning. We also saw a smaller lizard crawling around the swimming pool area so be careful people!

Our room was small with a very tiny toilet. 2 spot lights flickering away. AC temp stays the same no matter what you try, but you can control it’s speed. Breakfast spread itself is average to say the least. Location is good as it’s close to the beach and evtg is a quick walk down the road.

Reception staff are polite, but have forgotten how to smile or even make eye contact. Check in and check out was quick enough, but don’t expect a warm welcome. For the price, compared to the other extremely expensive hotels, it’s ok I guess.

The whole place is as organic as it can be. The heart of this place, is the tropical landscape (we feel being wrapped in the embrace of the tropics). You’ll get to see many species of plants and flowers, and maybe animals too. The breakfast was great!

A bit run down but it’s affordable. The rooms we were in had algae covering the windows, so it was a bit hard to appreciate the scenery of the sea. The wood on the wall had parts of it where it was waterlogged and was popping out. The lights flickered. And the hair dryer didnt work. On the last night, the fridge kept making noise too. The TV was a bit tiny.

But our reason was to staycay, so if you are here to explore sentosa island, all if these would probably not matter. They also have a really cool springwater pool!

Oh. There is a limit to how many devices can connect to a room’s wifi. So if one person has multiple devices, there could be an issue.

It is cleaner now after reading the reviews which complained about the cleanliness of the rooms. However I agree with the resort being old and run down in certain areas. The room window cracked so the cheaper way was to mount a wooden plank to secure the glass. Maybe they can think of replacing the glass as it allows the guests to look at the scenery. It also darkens the room too. We were told that they would upgrade us to a superior room as they do not have king sized beds available. Why is that? I also overheard the same explanation to other guests who were at the counter as well. Why? I see the sign outside the resort stating that the superior rooms cost $120+ but when my wife booked the deluxe room, it was $219+ I think. So is it really an upgrade or downgrade I wonder? The staff suggested that we could join the beds together. If that is the case, why don’t they join the beds for these superior rooms and tell the guests who opted for the king sized beds that they are similar. But joining the beds together creates a line in between which is quite uncomfortable. Have they tried it themselves?

An absolute disaster of a hotel.

The place was not cleaned properly, facilities were extremely old and shabby.

The breakfast buffet was so bad, dry pancakes, flaccid bacon, and disgusting orange juice.

Do yourself a favor, top up a hundred bucks and book another hotel.

The only plus point of this hotel is it’s location, which is right across Siloso Beach, offering great vistas. However, the service standards in this eatablishment is below par as compared to what one could expect from a similar hotel.

Firstly, although I had placed in a several day advanced request for a queen-sized bed, the did not give me one, citing full occupancy as the excuse. However, when I explored the hotel early the next morning, I discovered that many rooms were empty.

Secondly, the breakfast is very disappointing. I do not mind paying $24 for my meal if care is taken to ensure I have a good experience. I ordered an American breakfast and what came out was scrambled eggs, teo sad hotdog sausages, fake bacon and a cannot be bothered lettuce with some sort of thousand island dressing. The pancakes at least were fresh but the croissants weren’t. Coffee and tea was very basic and was self-service. The service staff also did not seem to be familiar with the menu and had to chrck multiple times with other staff every time I asked a question.

Lunch options were much better but again, the wait staff did not seem to be familiar with the menu. As such my order for a ribeye steak, which would standard fare in the menu took a very long time to sort out.

Daily cleaning of the rooms takes a very long time. I would leave my room after breakfast at 9:30 AM, coming back to the room at 2:30 PM only the discover the room was still not cleaned. Had to make a special request to the cleaning staff to prioritise cleaning my room next so that I could actually use the room to rest.

Internet connection is also weak so it was very difficult for me to get any work done in the hotel without using my own hotspot.

In general, I really feel this hotel ought to have much higher service standards. But it’s clean, affordable, close to the beach and has a great pool. So if you have no other requirements, you’ll be fine here.

Had a great experience staying at the resort over the weekend, room was simple but clean. The spring water pool surrounded by greenery was delightful.
Kudos to the staff who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The design of the resort and it’s eco-conscious initiatives were appreciated by my partner and I. It’s truly refreshing to reconnect with nature and we will definitely be back again.

We stayed in July 2022 and we found this resort the most peaceful and relaxing on the island, it’s more of an adult vibe. it’s away from the scores of families and kids of resorts world. Beach front location, beautiful large pool and spa surrounded by the jungle.

Room wise, I would say it’s the average quality of most hotels I’ve stayed in around the world. Beach front views, cold aircon, fridge, and ice trays are a plus. Staff are friendly and they are eco friendly focused.

Was fortunate to be quarantined in this resort, it was relaxed and comfortable. And the warmth from the people working here really made my day.
They are a bunch of friendly and hardworking group. They made me feel at home thought I was at quarantined. They tried to provide me with comfort as much as possible.
    The food is not
bad, my favourite were Malay and Western. Although I prefer spicier food.
The room is not luxurious but it is decent for any traveller.
The one thing I felt could be better was to have a bigger TV. There again, at times like this, it does not make sense to spend whereby there are hardly any tourist around.
Overall I had a wonderful and fantastic stay at the resort. On a side note, my wifi connection was pretty decent although telco signal was rather weak.
The overall rating deserves 5 stars from me!

Love this place! I seldom opt for resorts but decided to try one this time, and I think the place is rather pleasant. The location is great (the shuttle bus stops right in front of the resort; so if you’re carrying a lot of things then it’s more convenient for you to travel via shuttle). In front there’s a beach (obviously) whereby you can stroll along. There’s cafes nearby (and one at the resort as well – but a little pricey). There’s a jacuzzi and swimming pool at the resort. Check-ins are at level 7 or 8 (if I’m not mistaken). The facilities (like lifts) are very old though … But not an issue. I’d definitely go back!

2nd time we have visited in 10yrs. If you are looking for grand marble floors and highly polished furnishings, then forget it. This is an eco friendly hotel with old wooden floors and only the bare essentials available. Set in a jungle type environment with the beach only metres away across the road. Booking in and out was quick and efficient with friendly staff all around. The wildlife and flora and exotic plant life are in abundance and an on sight team of bird preservationist are busy introducing new species to the grounds. We didn’t need an alarm clock for breakfast as we were pleasantly awoken by a resident Toucan at 0710 perched on the tree right outside our room. There is an excellent free bus service that picks up and drops off right outside the hotel. And a regular monorail service that connects you with the MTR and rail network on Singapore itself. Its rates can seem a bit expensive, but you are paying for it being Sentosa Island but still the cheapest hotel. The only spoilers for us was that we were staying for five nights and had to live out of our suitcases as there was a lack of drawer space to store things and had to ask for extra hangers and please put a lock on that free play piano in the break fast area, it drove me crackers every morning listening to little darlings plink plonking away to there hearts content with the approval and encouragement of their extremely thoughtless/selfish parents much to the annoyance of the other diners. Overall though, will i be back? yes of course i will and hope i won’t have to wait another 10 years for the experience.

For $500 a night I was expecting a much nicer hotel. Instead I got a poorly maintained hotel with staffs that seem like they don’t even want to be there.

My room was infested with little ants with painful bites so i definitely don’t recommend this place if you are bringing young children.

My room didn’t have any towels. When I called housekeeping for some, they told me to go get it at the reception…

I did not care for nor use any of the facilities so I can’t comment on those. My intention was just to have a comfortable stay which I did not get.

Our room: We stayed in a roof garden suite and it was fab. Good views, the rooftop jacuzzi was a great alternative for the kids when we were just too tired to trek to the beach or pool and it was also handy for us to sit on the deck chairs to keep an eye on them. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels, bottled water replenished, shower gels and bedroom slippers provided. TV was fine, it was a decent Samsung flat TV with access to cable channels. Some aspects of the room were a little worn like the lampshades but we didn’t mind. Mosquitoes in the open areas at night but that’s fine, just use repellant.

Food: Breakfast was basic – you choose from American, croque Monsieur, prata or daily specials, not super high quality but tasty enough and efficiently served. You book your breakfast slot and when you arrive you choose from a selection of set hot dishes. Those come with yogurts, packet juices and fruit bowls and pastries which are presented almost as soon as you sit down. Coffee is decent, not watered down.

Service: No complaints. Our needs didn’t deviate significantly from usual and a request for extra pillows and towels was met efficiently. Kudos to the f&b team who were efficient and warm. They employ staff with special needs who were friendly and kind to my kids, and were very good at what they do.

Environment: nice big pool, limited to 50 pax but you never feel cramped or crowded.. plenty of space for everyone. There are slides for kids and a heated jacuzzi and basic gym facilities. Lovely nature and great views of the beach. You may get to see the resident monitor lizard at breakfast or a few toucans here and there.

Location and amenities: easy enough with the beach team stop right outside the hotel and directly opposite siloso beach (which has vending machines for drinks). The hotel cafe also sells cold drinks at around $3 each and a can of Heineken is $9. You can bring these up to your room and store them in the mini bar. There’s a self serve washing machine and dryer ont he first floor for $5 per cycle (1 dollar coins)

Was pleasantly surprised – was mentally prepared for a terrible time given some of the negative reviews but we wanted a rustic easygoing time and got exactly that. Glad we chose this over the Rasa. Surprisingly we had a worse experience in some of the beach side restaurants and it does get crowded outside so do consider booking yourselves a table for dinner and support the hotel restaurant instead. Prices are steeper than usual but pretty fair compared to Coastes or Rumours which require a minimum spend before they’ll let you through the door.

Hotel is a little worn eg pictures are sun bleached, roofs are discoloured and some walls are mouldy but remember it is battling the elements in a tropical island… but I think it all adds to the character of the place.

This resort has run down rooms, hotel facilities and service is yet to be up to standard.

This review is for the 14 days long stay package for a family with a young child. Superior Queen room with baby crib.

    Positive
    1. Priced at 150SGD nett per night including buffet breakfast of local delight, voucher for complimentary lunch
    2. Surrounded by greenery, feels like living in a rainforest
    3. Located in sentosa, easy access to beach
    4. Support for eco effort and fair work for special needs workers
    5. Has a shower and bathtub in the room
    6. Having a non chlorinated swimming pool

    Can be improved
    1. Housekeeping need to be brushed up during peak periods such as school holidays. My bedsheets were made but not changed except for the first and the last day. Toilet was not cleaned throughout.
    2. There’s no airport transfers or shuttles from resort to anywhere. Travelling out to town will depend on beach tram schedules, walking to Beach station(sentosa express) or calling for a taxi. This may be inconvenient for families with young children requiring strollers on bad weather conditions
    3. Hotel/Room security needs to be improved and hotel access should be for hotel guests only(will not post details here but don’t leave your valuables lying around)
    4. At one point, café staff was seen feeding an iguana with sausages during breakfast as entertainment for guests despite having “no feeding wildlife” signs
    5. Hotel amenities are a little old and in need of some refresh. We were fine with it, but may not be the case for everyone
    6. Avoid peak period such as school holidays, the pool will be noisy till late hours. Proximity to the Wavehouse can be noisy should there be any party events
    7. Air conditioning has a pretty loud rumble. Take note if this is your concern

Overall, I recommend the resort for stay during off peak and non school holiday period.

I was there for one night on September 21st 2019. On the following morning at around 10:45am, they have started renovating their room right above my room without giving any notice. Took them 30 minutes to stop for the first time and started drilling again 10 minutes later. No choice but to check out. They then try to offer me another room while I was checking out. What kind of service is that?

Came with no expectations after reading so many bad reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The only complaints I have are the long check in time (30 mins) and the room temperature. The air con wasnt cold enough for us but they did bring me a fan, which worked well.
Room rates are very reasonable. Location is excellent.

We had a free upgrade. Room seemed newly renovated. Clean, comfy beds. The pool was nice and warm. Rooftop garden offered splendid views of the beach and pool.

Staff were nice and friendly. Overall, service is good. I think they are understaffed but everyone is trying their best.

Staff are generally friendly and I was greeted upon entering. Staff always smiling. Location is good. 2nd time here and was told that I was given free upgrade but I got lvl 5 with no views instead of first time having lvl 8 seaview. Basic toiletry was provided but the shampoo makes my hair really rough. The hot shower water will turn cold on and off while showing. There are hair dryer which is good. One thing Im sadden is the curtain and bedsheet have stains and even long hair found underneath the bedsheet. It is kind of gross. After 2 hrs of check in, I noticed a big bug on the pillow. I had to qns the cleanliness.

Eco Friendly Is the theme of the resort. And it’s my 2nd time staying here. To be very honest, the resort is nice and all but the room on level 2 will reek of fish since there is a natural filtration pond right outside the rooms. So just a heads up if you get offered any rooms on level 2.

Best part of Siloso Beach resort is it location. Located very close to Siloso Fort and Siloso beach and quite opposite to rumors beach club. Minutes walk from the siloso point cable car and beach station. There is a tram bus stop situated right next to the hotel (towards beach club entrance). The room prices are economical and would say good value for money. However, the room that was allocated to me had washroom with out lock and it would be very tough for fat people to get into washrooms. Bed was comfortable, room has partial sea view. Me and mom had lots of fun in the pool (slides in the pool) and Jacuzzi. Food was ok, limited options though. Overall it was a great experience.

Location and salt water swimming pool is good.
Breakfast buffet was in very sad taste. Not much variety and some of the food items like kaya jam was hidden and the guests who happened to see it, had to point out and ask for it. Some items got over quickly and there was no replacement.
No bell boy to help with luggage.
    Waiters and staff are arrogant.
Rooms are okay but bathrooms are compact with no hand soap.
Only one key card is given per room.
When asked for an extra towel, they gave one which was used for swimming pool.
All in all I am sure there would be better options to stay at in Sentosa.

The pool is AMAZING!!! Room is clean and comfortable, but air con is not super effective. Breakfast is pretty good – especially the pastrys! Feels like a few little touches (e.g. paint) would lift the hotel – something about cafe at night appears shabby. Garden is gorgeous. Great location with Beach Tram stop out front to take you to Beach Station (free services). An excellent place for our 4D3N stay

I Had a wonderful week of June staycation with family here in the family suite, enough to fit in 5. Loves the laid-back and calming surrounding. The room is spacious, showering area is separated from the toilet. The water from the shower head is ‘powerful’ with hot and cold water to choose. There is also a tub if you prefer to have a relaxing soak. Much of the flooring along the corridors to the rooms are padded with foam material to prevent slips, especially after play at the beach or a swim at the pool.

The resort’s location is also superb, just across the beach. There are also eateries near the resort. The Luge , I-Fly, Bungy jump and the beach station are a few mins walk away. The beach shuttle stops are so convenient to bring us further to Palawan and Tanjong Rhu beaches.

We were also pleasantly surprised that the resort employs special needs individuals. They help out at the restaurant and also with the housekeeping. Housekeeping service may be a little slow, so if you really need toilet papers or other things, go to the reception and you might get it faster. But really, we come for a stayca to relax and slow pace down, so why the hurry?

Breakfast wise, do not expect 5-star buffet style, it comes in various sets for u to choose from. What is good about the set breakfast is that there is less wastage of food. You can always ask for more croissants and fruits. The restaurant at the hotel is also alfresco dining.

We love the spring water pool at the hotel itself. There’s a majestic waterfall and slides. Rustic surrounding at the pool makes you feel like you are really totally away from the hustle and bustle of the city. For someone who is afraid of the cold, I especially love the heated jacuzzi which is just next to the pool. I am so glad that I gave this lesser-known resort on Sentosa a try. The facade may be a little run down, it is a hidden gem. Give this resort a chance. Make it your next stayca resort.

Very disappointed with the service , you can have a few staffs standing inside enjoying the air con but none came out to help guests with the baggages when I queried about helping the guest with one of the staffs , he told me wait for the guest to offload themselves here no concierge. Meaning what money want to earn from them but not willingly to help them ? First time I heard about this some of the hotel also do not have concierge and the ladies actually came out behind the counter to help the guest but Guess your resort is very high class.

Was quarantined there for 7-days in December after being transferred from an SHN facility. A quiet resort off the bustle of Siloso Beach. My first stay was at a two-story deluxe room with a hydropool – private of course. Second stay was a twin bedder that was comfortable and functional. Best part of the resort is definitely the pool. There’s a little jacuzzi off to the side to soothe weary muscles, too! I love this resort, but it’s more than a decade old already and showing signs of age. Due for a refurbishment, but do snap a deal on the rooms should they come by.

I’d like to express my utter disappointment with my experience at SBR

The service was bad, dare I say horrible. Information was misleading. Location was too deep in and the rooms are honestly bad for Singapore’s hospitality standards.

Upon checking in, I had many bags and luggages and when I asked for help, they just said, no one is available to help.
I’m not too sure if they are short staffed but this is totally unacceptable. Checking your website, there are bellhops available, but no one could help us carry our bags?

I booked a honeymoon stay and wanted an upgrade cause I felt the room we booked was too small upon arrival.

I called reception and told them that I wanted an upgrade, they said they’ll call me back after checking. They didn’t call me back at all. I called the next day and they quoted me an upgrade to the Roof Garden Suite would be an additional SGD 100+ which I agreed.

I went down to reception the next day to upgrade my room but they then said they were too busy and missed out the fact that it was actually SGD500+ additional for the upgrade JUST FOR A NIGHT STAY.

How can 100+ go to 500+ in minutes…. Saying that the room rate has changed.

Honestly one of my worst hotel experiences ever in Singapore. All I wanted was a relaxing Nature experience during our honeymoon. Instead we were greeted with utter disappointment.

Location: The location is perfect right opposite the beach. A walking distance to Mono Rail/Sentosa Express Beach Station roughly about 5minutes walk. I think this is the most affordable hotel at Sentosa Island. There’s also a tram right in front of the hotel where u can ride or tour the island and its for free.

Swimming Pool: Was one of the highlight in the hotel water was clean and its spring water so relaxing we enjoyed swimming and you can swim even late at night.

Deluxe Room Queen: Is good I love the beach view spacious but shower room too small. The bed are clean. But the curtain maybe quite long never washed. The white color becomes dirty white obviously not washed. The small counter table where there’s a kettle is so dusty.

Roof Deck: You can go at level 8 you can see the panoramic view of Siloso Beach and the swming pool it’s beautiful.

Overall: I love the hotel location and the swimming pool. It was surrounded with Nature it’s so relaxing. Great place to relaxed/rejuvenate. Anytime of the day you can swim coz the water in swimming pool was cold.

To the Management: The whole hotel much more better if it was cleaned well. The lift, the hallway and even the rooms need attention as soon as possible. I am surely that many will book or keep coming back to your hotel if it is manage well especially the (CLEANLINESS).

We stayed for 3days and 2nights staycation. We’ll surely comeback. Hopefully what’s the feedback on this site will be given attention.

Just a short stroll to beach station to catch the Sentosa Express. Or you can even take a shuttle outside of the resort’s restaurant when it’s operational and head down to the other end of Pahlawan beach to check out the other tourist hotspots.

(COVID updates at bottom of review)
Siloso Beach Resort is a very nice place for you to rewind and relax.

Price-wise, I think it’s much more affordable if you’re looking for a place to relax and be one with nature and also super cheap for location and what you get!

Compared to other Sentosa hotels I’ve been to, this is by far the most family-friendly and close-to-nature option.
    Place is 10/10 convenient.
Beaches are in very close walking proximity, and restaurants and cafes are very close too! Japanese cafe right outside!
the monorail train station is very close too. (Liho, Old Chang kee and coffee bean available. Gelatissimo has closed

Hence, I think this place might suit someone who is looking for a fun relaxing stay with nature at an Eco-resort. Might not be suitable if you’re not into spotting animals and nature and prefer a super clean vibe similar to most other hotels like Hotel Michael.
    Would recommend for families too!

The place might be a little ‘run-down’ for some, but I think that adds to the charm of this place. Room is quite simple, but still enjoyable especially for kids.
Mattress is a little harder than what you would expect in hotels but me and my family still had pretty good sleep. (including a five-year old) so it’s still sleepable & comfy imo.

I think the best thing about this place would be the pool and waterfall. There are slides at the pool and black floating tires to aid swimming and make the experience much more fun the pool is really big and it’s filled with spring water, which is pretty cool & helps with sensitive skin & eczema. The surrounding areas are filled with nature and it feels like Bali. the pool also has a recently renovated ramp (yes, a ramp going into the pool ) & I think that’s really interesting as it would help for elderlies.

    Connecting rooms are also available.
Your children will thoroughly enjoy it here.

TIP: Visit the rooftop! Recommend to come during the sunset (Around 7.15 pm usually, but check Google for most accurate timings) & have a meal as there are chairs and tables around! Not crowded and a great place for a relaxing evening. Not much insects due to the height as well!

    -COVID UPDATES- (21/2/21)
    Breakfast
If you booked your room directly to Siloso Beach resort, you would be able to select for your breakfast set to be included. ($20 per pax.)
However, if you booked your room thru other platforms (Agoda, etc) you would have to order the breakfast set during check-in.
Pre-covid, the breakfast is free for first 2 persons, $10 each for any other person.
Now, it is $20 per pax,, $10 each for children.

    Pool
50 pax limit, need to book during check in.
However note that the black swimming floats are not available anymore sadly
Seating areas have also been minimised, so I recommend bringing a picnic mat just in case.
Also I noticed that the poolside hammock (take the short stairs near the waterslides) is no longer there

    Beach
Booking required for weekends!!! Please do not forget. But booking is not required for Palawan Zone 3.

Apart from these, there isn’t any other change noticed.

    LATEST UPDATE (27/3/22)
️Beach does not need bookings anymore, and it is way easier to enter (just cross the road from the hotel, turn right and that’s it you don’t need to book for the interactive light show Magical Sands anymore too! Other than that, nothing has changed since last month’s update.

Highly highly recommend & you won’t regret coming here!! ️

I didn’t stay here, but did take a good look around the grounds ahead of an upcoming family stay, so my review based only on this. Has a fantastic huge pool including two smaller waterslides for kids, which is one of the resort’s highlights. It’s also got a lovely forest green atmosphere with you feeling like you are in the wild and well away from any city. Location wise outstanding as literally across the road from Sentosa beach and only a short walk to multiple restaurants and bars. There is also a 7-11 at both the cable car and monorail stations, each only a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel.

Clean room. Delicious breakfast. Very Good Location, just a 5 minute walk to the monorail station or with the tram. But most importantly, one of the best hotel in Sentosa. Siloso beach is very near, and the staff is very friendly

It is a bit run down for the price that one pays. The restaurant is rather quaint and not much choices offered. The room was clean and we had a nice view toward the beach. It’s just few meters away from the sea.

Everything is eco friendly. They even employ many special needs staff giving them a chance in life. Pool has 2 slides. However the wifi in the room needs improvement. The bathroom also has noise due to water flow. Else will be 5 stars.

Room was terrible. Worse than a cheap motel. When it rained, water flowed freely down the wall facing the bed, in the room.
They agreed verbally to give us a refund when we checked out a day earlier but would not commit the assurance in writing. It has been a week since and we have not received any refund. Also, they refuse to respond to multiple emails sent to them.

A hidden gem for those who love to spend 3 or more days in Sentosa Island without breaking the bank. Good value for the money spent, we would definitely book here again and again. Embraced in the beauty of nature, the hotel is very clean and comfortable, there is a pool with a massive waterfall, a covered trail to walk around the beautiful premises, and if you love to see the beach, you just walk across the road! Food is very nice too, the buffet breakfast will keep you full for a whole day of sightseeing!

Sure hotel breakfast and room was not the best but the spring water swimming pool, children slides, water fall and hot tub make up for it. They have a beautiful garden on the roof on sustainable greens. Inclusive hotel which shows the beauty of humans.

I booked a superior room for 2 nights, and was given a free upgrade to their deluxe room. The deluxe rooms are of a decent size though the toilets can get a little squeezy with 2 persons in there. It had a great view of the sea and was reasonably clean though it seems like it has been a while since it was renovated but it was still very comfortable.

The only ‘issue’ encountered was towards the end of the 2nd day, they ran out of towels at the swimming pool.

Besides the very convenient location and lovely swimming pool, what I liked best about the hotel was their inclusive hiring policy where they hired superheros with special needs at the restaurant and for the tidying up of rooms. I will definitely return for another stay.

I have just checked in at the hotel and inspire of paying extra for an early check in, I am being treated non professionally. We were first denied to even have a look at the room and later were told to take our luggages on our own. The lady at the reception is very rude and doesn’t look like she knows what hospitality is despite being in hospitality industry. This is after she could see that we travelled all night with a two year old baby who was so tired that he was sleeping on the pram. The reception waiting area is almost non existent. All of this took more than one hour to happen because the lady said she needs time to check availability. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. This is day 1 of our trip and it’s already spoilt.

It is quite convenient to use public transportation to get to the resort because it is

The room has no towel. Even if I asked so many times, they didn’t give towels.
They also didn’t give extra complimentary drinking water even if I called and asked so many times.
The circuit breaker wiring box is widely opened in our room, too dangerous for us to get the clothes in the cabinet.
The bed is hard and not comfy. TV is super small. Only one outlet on the bedside. Worst staycation ever.

Rooms and bathroom need repair. Hotel location is at the beach. Good connectivity around Sentosa by free sentosa shuttle service.

Rooms are just ok not good.
Location is good . Just next to Sentosa BusStop from where Tram service can be used for traveling within sentosa island. Beaches nearby.

Stayed during the long weekend holidays recently and this place was so not prepared for the influx of pple after the covid rules relaxed.

Checking in – We pre-checked in at 12pm, went back to get room key at 3pm but the line was so long and staff looked so busy with the check-ins that no one was telling pre-check in customers where to go. I joined the queue but 2 other pre-checked in guests went str to the counter and demanded their rooms, hence I jumped queue as well (it was my turn next anyway). We booked a family room but was told the room had water leakage so was ‘upgraded’ to 2 connecting deluxe rooms. Only 1 was ready so we went to the to room but the door could not be opened. The maintenace guy replaced the battery but the door cannot lock by itself, it requires one to lock and unlock it before it locks from outside. After that we went out and came back to get the key to the other room, and the door to the other room would not close properly due to misalignment, one has to yank it everytime to close it.

Housekeeping – There were no handsoap provided at the sinks, and we were told to use the ‘shower gel’ provided.. and each rm only has 2 tubes of shower gel and 2 tubes of conditioning shampoo. We stayed 2 nights but one of the rooms did not get replacement of shower gels though we had finished the 2 tubes the next day. No new floor mats were provided for the bathrooms after they made the room as well and we were asked to collect fr the reception. The receptionist even told my husband it is coz the place is ‘fully booked’. (Does it mean the resort can’t cope with fully booked hotel? Or they just have manpower shortage as they couldn’t replace the staff they laid off during the pandemic?) The rooms are cleaned well though.

Breakfast – Hilariously my husband from America couldn’t recognise the ‘American Breakfast’ we were served. I was also surprised at how white the pancakes on our plates looked, but other tables seem to get the normal-looking pancakes alright. We were probably just unlucky 2 days in a row. The other breakfast options tasted ok, but don’t have too high expectations. Best part of breakfast is the crossiants, which can be reordered. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and really try to make sure patrons are well taken care of.

Overall, I won’t call this a 4 star resort. It is at best a 3 star hotel with 4 star location since it is near to the beach. We stayed here in 2017 and thought it was reasonably priced for the facilities (the pool is great for families) and the location. But this visit was a let down as the place really looked 5 years older and screams maintenance. I hoped the service could get better once they get more staff. For the price I paid I don’t think I will visit again unless it undergoes a revamp.

Ants all over the rooms and bathroom. I understand that we are by the beach and next to the wilderness, but I’d at least expect to be able to sleep and not have a bunch of ants crawling in a line up above the walls and dropping onto the bed. Had to zip up my suitcases everytime I need something because the ants would crawl inside. Had to brush ants off my suitcases every morning and evening. There are no table surface that is out of reach by these ants. Toilet, sink, standing shower, bathtub, even while cleaned by room service, will still have ants crawling all over after a few hours. Asked to switch rooms a few times and the same result. Saw a couple mice running around the restaurant down stairs during morning breakfast. The place is infested.

The pool was the nicest & warmest I had ever been. Would have given a 5 stars for the stay if the American breakfast at the cafe was good. Besides the scrambled eggs, croissants, the rest need improvement. The bacon is some kind of mixture, the hot dogs are ok. The pancake tasted stiff. The room is quite nice except the latch fell off & needed housekeeping to fix in order to close it. The place is definitely lovely but need a bit of maintenance. Definitely will go back there as compared to Hotel Equarius where they are bad in customer service despite paying more than 2 times the price where I stayed in Dec 2021. Give it a try for the lovely greenery & spring water pool.

Bedsheet had holes in them and stains.

Windows view was completely blocked by trees. And the windows themselves were covered with algae and moss on the outside thankfully.

The windows advertised had a ledge you could sit down on. But our room did not and only had one chair. To be shared between two people.

Overall, the hotel also looked really dirty and run down. For the price would recommend staying somewhere on the main island instead.

Area is great. Smack opposite the Beach. You can literally cross the road and go to the beach. There is a monorail station nearby. Attractions are all nearby. The hotel has a nature theme. There is a big spring / pool in the centre . Rooms are clean but dated. Will not give you the premier feel despite the price. The breakfast is horrible. Did not pay for it. Unless you are the fan of bee Hoon. WiFi is free in the room. Which is good.

Am staying in queen deluxe at fifth floor. I am here just for accomodation. It’s a chalet rather than a 4-star hotel. Bed has springy sound and harder than other hotel beds but I was ok sleeping on it. No face and hand towels, only two bath towels. Has a hole in the ceiling of the shower area but just ignore it will do. Stood for an hour to check in. Hotel did tried to warn guests that they may be able to check in at 5pm rather than 3pm. The good thing is that you can access to siloso beach easily! If you are here just to access the beach and a place to sleep then go for it.

The Ethos of this hotel is the most amazing thing about it, it employs many individuals who have their own mental/physical challenges to face, but face them they do and in doing so also provide great service to their guests and almost always with a smile.

I was on the 6th floor of this tropical resort, with a salt spring feed 95m long pool in the complex and a beach across the very quiet road, this is a beautiful spot.

I love big boats and the harbour does not disappoint with a huge amount of variety and change but all of that is outside the lagoon type area provided for the public, which is great but does get very deep very quickly.

If in Singapore def worth checking it out .

The resort was beautiful and scenic but the rooms were a let down as they didn’t even provide proper shower curtains and the room was overall cramped. Stayed one night over the March Holidays with my family at the Superior Queen room. Sea-facing (not high floor) but it was pretty enjoyable for my kids. Room and toilet was clean and functional. 2 bedside tables with a wall mouted dining area as well. The pool was nicely maintained and give out all the resort vibes. I noticed that the resort also practised corporate social responsibilty by using spring water filtration systems in the toilets and hiring several staff with special needs. I will definitely come back again! Can’t find such decent resort in Sentosa at this price too.

My family and i have been visiting this resort periodically for nearly a decade. We like its rustic design. Importantly we support this resort because it is eco-minded (eg sustainability) and employs people with special needs.

However the owners please take serious heed. Rustic is not equivalent to run-down. In this visit; i found many things breaking down.

In the room, the air con is not cold despite the setting below 20 deg, the TV and phone are not functioning well and the channels do not match what has been indicated in the channel menu. The door magnetic lock broke down and someone has to fix it.

In the premise, the place looks run down. On the day that we left, the lift button was spoilt.

It is not worth the hotel price with such deplorable conditions. Please renovate.

I will want to be back. Im ok with the simple breakfast and not so new furniture. But at least things should be functioning properly. Thanks.

We are staying in Singapore for less than 2 days and Siloso Resort made us book the rooms for 3 days because of its check in and check out hours and did not acccomodate our needs and allow us to have early check ins (even though the resort has plenty of rooms available now). Some of the reception stuffs are super helpful while others are rude and unprofessional. They refused to provide us with basic necessities like towels and water bottles and reception stuffs get super rude when we request something. Love how eco-friendly the hotel is with some friendly staff too. It has a swimming pool from spring water that is treated chemically using ionised salt. So the pool doesn’t have a chlorine smell nor does it sting the eyes. We really enoyed the pool that comes with a waterfall, some fountains, slides and bouys. Fortunate to have the opportunity to meet the resort GM (Mr Kelvin), amazing gentlemen, and was always there throughout the day to assist guests. Their effort in incorporating green living within the resort is second to none. Don’t be mistaken by some of false negative reviews. The experience that I had is an absolute 5 Star. Rooms are clean and comfortable but not very big. We were impressed with the up cycling of bottles, the wormerie the fruit and veg, the spring water pool (slightly salty from ionised salt used for cleaning it) and the fish on the corridors of our floor. Husband and I absolutely LOVE this place! The Spring Water Pool was particularly enjoyable as the water didn’t irritate my sensitive skin nor made us stink of chlorine after a swim . Besides swimming, it’s also a good place to just lay flat on the water and do a bit of bird-spotting… The surrounding rainforest is home to so many animals! Barely half an hour into the swim and we saw Swiftlets, Black-naped orioles, Pink-necked Green Pigeons (Trerons), a Sunbird and a Yellow-vented bulbul…. Oh and that sunset is just…!!!!! See for yourself from my photos…

If I have to pick, the room was a tad rundown and the door lock was a bit faulty… but I didn’t go to Sentosa to stay indoors! Room was clean and bed was comfy. I slept well.

It is important to reiterate that this is a Rainforest-themed “Eco Resort”. It’s more for people who appreciate the smell and beauty of the rainforest in it’s untouched state… This hotel may not be suitable for clean freaks or “kitschy people” who like the plasticly superficial resort façade of Sentosa island, or can’t stand having ️squirrels hopping on the corridor… or otters and monitor lizards roaming the grounds.

Great relatively low cost resort compared to other hotels in Sentosa. Excellent salt water pool, perfect for families. Has slides and a huge waterfall. Restaurant food was tasty. My family have stayed twice now and we would go back again. Highly recommended for a staycation or holiday.

Called a few times about the AC not cold & the USB socket was very hot. None of the technician come to us. Worse, dare they said, already attended to us. Poor service, yet no integrity.

Unique concept ”eco-resort”! Only resort in Sentosa that is nested in the forest and tries its best to exist in harmony with nature. Hotel corridors are all open air, looking into the swimming pool that uses filtered spring water. Even toilet flushing systems use spring water! All the spring water comes from an underground reservoir. Walk out of your room and you will hear the cicadas of the forest chirping.

Rooftop has a gorgeous view and even has a Green Sanctuary (ie. nursery of plants). They also have a wormery that processes food waste from the hotel into fertiliser, reducing waste. In fact, the hotel food is partially supplied by their own sustainable rooftop farm. The hotel also has a green roof on Level 3 to cool the hotel, though it is not accessible to visitors. Within the hotel rooms, bathrooms use body soap dispensers instead of disposable tubes.

Very very picturesque. Plenty of hammocks, basket chairs and ivy arches to make a nice natural photoshoot.

Customer service was good! Our assigned rooms had a weak flush and were too loud due to being next to the generator, but the Reception was happy to switch us to new rooms that same night. Laundry bar is also quite affordable compared to laundry services provided at other hotels. It’s just self-service.

My only gripe is that the hotel rooms (we booked adjacent King’s and two Singles) are quite small, and have only a small ledge coming out of a wall for a “table”. No shaving kit or combs provided though. But maybe its in the interest of going green. Wifi was also weak in my room as we were near the ends of the room block.

But Hotel Rooms have a great view facing the beach. Safe, minifridge and kettle provided.

Very tired. The good bits: location is great for the beach front & all the amenities. Lovely pool area & we had a nice standard room with a big window facing the sea, clean & a reasonable size.
The bad bits: The estate management leaves a lot to be desired. We wandered around & the ‘executive ‘ areas & villas were in a terrible state with seemingly no maintenance. The breakfast was limited & rubbish. Staff fine.
This place needs closing & refurbishing & then it has the potential to be a very nice place.

It WAS a beautiful hotel, now the building is so much worn out and requires maintenance. Nevertheless, we did not regret the choice because of proximity to the beach and beautiful swimming pool for the price lower than anything else on the island. Good for max two nights

Excellent location, right next to the beach. About 5-10mins walk to the central beach station and then easy connection everywhere. The room was ok, old but clean. The resort also has a nice kids area in the pool and slides with it. The cafe also has decent food at the prices you’d expect at such places, better than the “foodcourt” that was near beach station. Would come again if they have good deals etc..

Horrible experience. My wife had to check in along with both our parents as I was reaching in the evening. With three 70 yr olds and one kid and 4 big bags, she requested the staff for help in carrying bags to the room. And they flatly refused!

The staff is rude and facilities are way below par.

If you can score a towel at the swimming pool, consider yourself lucky. There were No Towels most of the time.
You ask for extra tea bags, they tell you to go to the kitchen.
But when it comes to money, they are always there. A printout is promptly charged at 1 dollar per page.

Nice, but needs maintenance. Beds were comfortable, air con was strong enough, breakfast was acceptable (there is cooked food like sausages and eggs even though they say “continental breakfast”), WiFi is provided and free parking is available. But little things make the place seem a little run down. The water heater cut in and out while I was showering so I was alternately being frozen and scalded, there were ants attacking some leftover food in the sink, my room window looked out onto a view of a wood shed with discarded furniture.. Not big things, but put together they really lessen the overall experience.

Really great experience. Great swimming pool and rooms. Lobby was a bit packed and could be better organized. That small problem doesn’t overshadow my experience there though. Wonderful location for short vacation and traveling through Singapore.

Hallways are so dirty and smelly (spider webs, leaves and sands everywhere, stinks probably due to the carpet and open space).
Service not seriously handled (we got locked out of our rooms, receptionist said to wait by the door for maintenance, we waited 15mins to only find out there is no one coming to aid us).
Took a deluxe and rooftop room but the shower space was so tiny.
    TV remote not working.

    The worst stay ever!

We really wanted to like this place – we appreciated the resort’s focus on conservation and biodiversity. The pool is quite nice. The service staff seemed kind.

However, our stay at the Siloso Beach Resort was the worst hotel experience we have ever had (and I have stayed at a diversity of hostels and hotels across the Southeast Asian region).

    1. The room had some serious ventilation issues:
The room that we were provided had condensation everywhere – the walls and the sidetables. We initially thought this was perhaps because of cleaning (?) but at 12.30 AM that night, as we were sleeping, we realised that the whole room was dripping wet from condensation on the ceiling. There was water dripping on our faces. The room was incredibly humid yet cold (see photos).

    2. Management issues:
While we were able to move to a different room by 1 AM (imagine packing and moving our stuff at that hour!), the hotel management never once checked up on us. They even seemed to get annoyed that we (‘discount room’ guests) made a complaint and requested a refund the next morning. The front desk staff promised us a call from the manager soon – this never happened. No refund (ok) but not even a follow up (?). How is this a legit hospitality business in Singapore?

    3. Health and safety issues?
If you are considering to stay here, note that there might be building issues concerning mold. We ended up having a runny nose and itchy skin/eyes the next day. The AC system was loud and outdated. Judging from our experience, probably not well maintained. I’d recommend staying away from this hotel if you have children and/or elderly with respiratory issues.

In case the hotel management responds here:
    -Yes we were upgraded to a higher floor room at arrival (but we did not ask for it);
    -Yes we stayed at a special rate (but that does not mean as a hospitality business, you get to be this ignorant);
-And No, we did not change the aircon settings at any point during our stay. Nor we opened the window. The room just simply collected water everywhere.

5 STARS … I went here with my parents in March 2015 and it was amazing and a lot cheaper than other resorts. The staff were all so kind-hearted and the buffet breakfasts were great. The resort also supported the community by hiring people with special needs which was lovely to see. I encourage everyone to give this resort a go, it’s a lovely place and the location is great. I’m going here again with my parents and brother next year because we loved it so much last time

Stayed there for a family vacation during school holiday. Overall it was okay….But I found the swimming pool is full of people who are not resort guests. Note that there is no security check in when taking the lift to the guest room as well as to the swimming pool. The outsiders can go in without any checks.

Would have loved their to be a poolside bar operating. There is evidence of two bars, one poolside and one rooftop. Don’t appear to be functional. The resort needs some TLC and no excuse of being eco friendly

A pretty nice eco beach resort on Sentosa. We were staying at Robertson Quay Hotel in Singapore, but were given an upgrade to here for a couple of nights, so paid less than we otherwise would have to stay here directly. Unfortunately this meant we were placed in un-renovated rooms (there were probably only about 10 left un-renovated in the whole place, and we had renovation noise from next door), but as we hadn’t paid a lot to be there we didn’t mind too much. The pool was pretty nice, absolutely huge, and even as adults we enjoyed the water slides and huge waterfall. The location was nice, with great views of the beach, and the plants gave a nice ambience. Our room was pretty in need of renovation, with very hard beds and an old looking bathroom, but understand these will all be changed soon. We did have a problem with ants in our room but this is probably unavoidable. We even saw multiple peacocks parading outside our window! Breakfast was nothing special, with a large buffet but the quality wasn’t overly high, and there weren’t a lot of options for vegetarians. Staff were helpful always though!

Looks gorgeous and adventurous but there’s a catch: the timing is 5pm to end all motorized activities but they stop them from 4.30 onwards. At the mega climb, when you buy a package deal you only climb 2 levels.. not mentioned when you’re buying the tickets.

The mega zip was one of the best ever.. kettle are courteous but rules are not written anywhere clearly so ask your questions even if they don’t understand your accent.

    Enjoy

Bedrooms are very plane, there is no drinks or snacks in the rooms. The breakfast the next day was absolutely shocking.
Every single thing that was made had vegetables in them and the chicken sausage tasted just like the egg omelette with mixed veg.
Then there was toast and waffle kinda things. Then there was flapjacks with syrup BUT they had put corn in them ?? Why ? The only thing that was good was the fresh warm croissants with a piece of slab cheese.

What a pity because the location is great, the pool is great. The hotel/resort needs some tlc as it looks really run down in the hallways and lifts.
Sentosa is a tourist attraction and the resort could be a whole lot better.
The breakfast served in the mornings really needs some looking at.

Eco Friendly Resort. The waterfall and pool area is beautiful and fresh spring water which is even better!
Staff are lovely and hire special needs which is great to see!!
Breakfast isn’t anything flash, but everything you need to get you going for the day!
Bus stop right outside the resort.
Staffs are able to accommodate early check in, and we were upgraded to Deluxe room
Overall, it’s a great resort! Value for Money !!!

Would not recommend anybody to stay here… my partner and I decided to have a little stay cation away from the city and stay on Sentosa. Save your money and go somewhere else. We were both intrigued by the “eco” hotel concept and the fact that this place is environmentally conscious. Although that may be true, thats not an excuse for having such dirty and unkept facilities. Mysterious brown stains in the pool, along the glass railings and in the rooms. Algae growing everywhere outside as well. If you’re looking for that kind of experience, maybe you won’t mind, but for us, it made the facility look like its not very well maintained. First room had mysterious stains throughout, small tiny bugs in the room, air conditioning very loud and was not working, overall the decor is very dated. Very old hotel. Apart from that they don’t believe in using hand soap, “you can use the shower gel as handsoap” says the receptionist. Lovely.

The Siloso Beach Resort is positioned not as a luxury hotel but an eco-resort to retreat back to nature. And this is exactly what it is. Nestled within lush greenery, the rooms may not be ultra-modern but they do have that nice rustic feel, while being clean and spacious. There was a bit of ponding in the corner when condensate pooled after a day out with the air-conditioning off, but overall our room was very comfortable.

One of my favourite features was the long stone bench that ran the width of the room, with a view of Siloso Beach. Resting in the armchair and looking at this view was a real treat.

As others have mentioned, the pool is wonderful! I recommend an early morning dip for some peaceful floating. And in the evening, standing under their waterfall for an invigorating massage!

By the way, besides being eco-friendly, Siloso Beach Resort is also an inclusive employer with many special needs serving staff who are very friendly and cheerful! Kudos!

Finally, Siloso Beach Resort is well-located, just a stone’s throw from the beach. And while there is a beach tram stop just outside, restaurants as well as the bus and train stations are a short stroll away too.

Way overpriced for unclean neglected room. The whole resort just looked like it lacked cleaning and maintenance, also bed was as hard as a rock and shower was really not great. Wifi only in pool area however it may be on purpose to get you out of your room to enjoy the surroundings. The nature was nice and the concept is good but I would not visit this resort again.

Old, dirty hotel. Outdated. Absolutely disgusting breakfast (silverfish in hash browns). Nasty, dirty restaurant. Room has bed hard as a rock, no hand towels or wash clothes. Water does not stay hot. We were treated like criminals for wanting second room key… 2 adults and power to room controlled by key card. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you like dirty, old, not updated hotels

The room is super dirty and old. TV is too small and outdated. Our room has a lot of dust and the floor is extremely dirty. Breakfast is a piece of sht, terrible. Disgusting food. The bald I*di*n manager is a terrible manager, could not even manage a small restaurant. A lot of complains from the customers about their food receiving super late though they were ther earlier than other customers. Terrible manager. Food is absolutely disgusting. Good thing was free room upgrade. I dont recommend this resort unless you just want a room to stay.

This resort feels truly old and run down. The superior bedrooms were no where superior. It looked really sad..there is no proper table, just 1 chair. To add..the hangers were super old and dirty.

Our room did not have a beach view and we had separated beds even though we have requested for queen size.

AC has a continous loud motor sound and no matter how we adjust the AC, it is too cold. It feels as if I’m living inside a freezer. The bed sheets aren’t very clean. The check in area, walkways, dining area, shed and lifts were dirty and has a smell.

This is by far the worst staycation place I have been.

I recommend you take your money elsewhere unless u need the beach right in front of your doorstep.

My family and I are SBR regulars.
We do agree with many that the hotel is old &
we do make a bit noise over its cleanliness
but at the same time we also feel that
it has many other good things to be appreciated for.
We love the greenery around, we love the sea right outside the premise,
we love the breeze that has the scent of nature.
We also love its affordable rate & nice staff.
During the last stay, my dad’s sudden unwellness had brought some inconveniences
to SBR. I am very thankful to staff Sharifa & her team, her understanding & helpfulness
have relieved my stress so much. Hence, our stay, again, a happy one!
If SBR is able to cut down its flaw, it will be one of the best hotels in Sentosa!
