Good coffee!
Friendly staff, usual go-to for zhi char with the family and convenient for midnight hunger pangs
Cheap and Good
At this 261 Punggol Way for the PGFN laksa $5.50 large one. Very old school taste and rich in ‘hae bee hiam’ flavour and thick gravy. A little downside was that the gravy served was not hot enough otherwise it would be one of the best old school laksa!
Cleanliness
Zi Char Stall, Egg HorFun is tasteless.
PGFN
Crowded
A normal coffeeshop?
Just another Coffeeshop with norm food.
An unassuming place. Good value and quality. I’ve been a regular here for more than 2 years. Like practically everything here.
Must try the mee Hoon here, very nice
Coffe shop serve nice and tasty fish ball mee pok noodle
Alot of good food stalls
Highly recommend their prawn paste chicken shrimp paste chicken wings, cereal prawns cereal shrimp, pork ribs pork ribs king, sambal clams lala spicy clams, Yangzhou fried rice Yangzhou fried rice
Highly recommend their prawn paste chicken 虾酱鸡翅,cereal prawns 麦片虾,pork ribs 排骨王,sambal clams lala 辣蛤蜊, Yangzhou fried rice 扬州炒饭
Pretty good kopitiam with decent variety of food. The yong tao hu stall is Pretty good. portion large. can try.
Edit 06/04/21
Tried the western food stall, ordered Chicken chop rice and set for my both of us. Pretty decent. Pork chop is cooked well and tender to the bite.
Breakfast place for my rest day !
Nice hawker food.
Only the fishball noodle not bad ..other than that nothing much ..
Food
A Coffeeshop found within Punggol Block 261 beside Soo Teck LRT station. There is a Cai Fan(Mixed Vegetables rice) stall, Indian food, western, roasted meat delight, Yong Tau Foo and Zi char which operates in the evenings.
Coffeeshop size is small so do not expect to find seats during peak hours. The coffeeshop can be humid if you are seated inside. Other than that nothing stands out about this eatery.
This coffee shop feels so homely.. Good coffee, good food and cosy environment. Ambience is so relaxing. We have a good time here!
Decent coffeeshop, prices are ok
Good variety of food stalls!
Really delicious food and exception service! The boss was really nice and humorous. Great food coupled with friendliness and great service is almost extinct in Singapore! Oh yeah.. their service size quite generous
1) prawn paste chicken: has the childhood taste.. well marinated and fried to perfection! Not like many other places where it’s over fried
2) trio egg spinach: lovely broth and fresh vege with loads of goji, century egg, eggs and salted egg
3) preserved radish tofu: oh wow… the radish was fried again to perfection. Have a feeling their chef is specialised in frying stuff. The tofu has a lovely crisped outer layer and mouth melting inner section!
Well done!!!
The morning fried mee hoon and roti prata stalls are popular.
It’s a life saving coffee shop when it opens to the resident area this area as it’s all new HDB flats a 3 years ago. It has abt 10 stalls that serve the resident around here.
Most of the stalls sell good food and its 24 hrs for the fishball noodles and Indian Muslim stall
The place is crowded.
地方拥挤。
The food standard is above average. The curry fish head is nice.
Good food and some of the stall holder are nice.
Good roast meat stall, fair noodle stall. Early morning delights. Chinese menu in the evenings. A low quality Indian stall.
Expensive for neighborhood
Update Review for the month of September 2021
Probably my last time ordering from this Zi Char Stall.
The Middle age guy did NOT change back my order and hence i paid for some extra money for the ingredient. Not flexible and it is slightly expensive i feel that for this fried hor fun. Taste is okay though.
Main 3 Stars…
April 2021….Sad that the Good Old taste of the Roast Pork (Roasted Delight Stall) is not the same standard as previously few years ago. Half Fatty Meat that is the best that i can get. Totally No lean meat.
Not much variety.
Not really good taste. I think the block 218 coffee shop Zi Char is much better.
Food was pretty good. But pay attention: If you are afraid that the practitioner will suddenly shout, please pay attention.
I would recommend this store as the food is quite good, especially the Yong Tau Foo stall. One thing to note for those who to eat here is to have some preparation in which a stall might scold someone, and it MIGHT be you who got scolded
食物还蛮好吃。但是要注意的是:若你会害怕有业者會突然喊,請注意。
I would recommend this store as the food is quite good, especially the Yong Tau Foo stall. One thing to note for those who which to eat here is to have some preparation in which a stall might scold someone, and it MIGHT be you who got scolded
Side note: I am neither endorsed nor sponsored by them, but these are just my opinions.
You know when people say that some newer coffee shops are bad?
This particular coffee shop actually proved me wrong, and the food sold there is really good, despite being a rather small place. You have Indian Muslim food, fishball noodles, western, zi char and a few more that I probably do not know. And not to mention, the taste of the coffee is good (just come and try it for yourself).
First time visit this small coffeeshop located just next to Soo Teck LRT Station. There have stalls selling Western, economical bee hoon, you tiao, Indian food, fishball noolde, yong tau fu, chicken rice…etc..
Tried the Fish & Chips from the Western food stall.. Surprisingly the food is nice. The fish is crispy outside and soft inside. The fish meat is quite thick.
Not much selection. Place closed down
The food is not delicious, the tea is not good, and a word is expensive
东西不好吃,茶也不好喝,一个字贵
Typical coffeeshop with zi char, roasted duck, fish ball noodles, mixed vege rice, roti prata, yong tau foo, economic bee hoon and you tiao. Opens 24 hours (Indian food and fish ball noodles)
I enjoyed the PGFN fishball noodles on alternate days, with ocassional lunch at the mixed vegetables rice.
The morning deli snack like chwee kueh, chee cheong fan js nice too.
Got my order wrong by the zichar guy today for takeaway. 2nd time already. Hor fun become Beehoon. How to get these two things wrong i don’t know.
Roasted delight
Chicken (3.75/5)
The chicken rice is very fragrant, not too oily nor is it very sticky. I had the roasted chicken not too dry or tough even for breast meat.
Charsiew (4/5)
The charsiew is my cup of tea, not too lean, not too fatty as well. The charsiew is very tender and moist, would give it higher should the sauce be better and add a char grill taste to it.
Roasted duck (4/5)
The roasted duck is very tender and moist. Haha would give more review about it next time as I only sneak a piece from my mum’s plate.
PGFN (Pandan Garden Fishball Noodle) (2.5/5)
The noodle is not too soft or stick together however the sauce to the dry version is very bland. Even my helper taste is not as heavy say its very bland.
Srisun Prata
Indian rojak (3.75/5)
The ingredients are pretty fresh, I had my reservations at first about ordering as its 24hrs and it would be very hard to maintain quality I think. However the food is pretty fresh. The only thing is the dipping sauce, its not fragrant enough.
Best!
nice PGFN and Penang Mee hoon
Had dinner here before heading to Church of The Transfiguration for Triduum Mass yesterday. Fishball noodles is good. Coffee here got better. It was terrible a year back.
Prata was rubbery. 3 pieces plain prata with 1 mutton curry cost 7.30sgd. Both curries in pic taste very salty. Too salty for me personally.
Not here to make sweeping statements. No personal axe to grind here. Not here to get back with false comments. Just want to put in proper context. This place is just a nice coffee shop for me and my family. Comfort food, comfortable environment and convenient.
Eat and Go

crowded place seem like food are good
Delicious zhi char. Great coffee and tea too!
First time ordering from Shi Fu Seafood via Grab.Beef hon fun and black pepper venison rice set are yummilious.Hong Kong noodle can be forgo, barely any meat or egg, more like a vegetarian noodle.Green chilli and cutlery are provided upon request. Will definitely order again….
Awesome. Nice. Food.
Good for supper
Old school style bak chor mee. The chilli is the secret sauce. Remember to stir well before you eat. They don’t put a lot of vinegar here, which is fine by me. The noodle itself had a nice texture to it too. Not too rubbery for a mee pok.
Operate 24 hours, goes there whenever I am hungry at nite especially after 11pm.
Quite tasty food found here
I eat here regularly. When I feel like having something to eat, I just drop by. It’s easy, assessable, clean, reasonably affordable and nice food here. Can’t image not having this coffeeshop in the neighborhood.
This stall never fail to please me. Fish head curry, stream boat fish, hor fun, prawn roll, etc..Too many to mention. They are all good. Comfort food at its best!!!
Good .
Many people
Decent food and decent prices.
Back again for my fave dishes!
The fried mee siam is so tasty, even u eat it plain …
The environment is average, it is still okay, there are really many people eating! !!
环境一般,还是可以的,吃的人真的很多!!
Freshly cooked hot yummy food for all taste buds
Food is abv average, waiting time is alright, pricing a little more costly than other zicar stalls. 4/10.
However just take note that they blast their jiu hu siam diu ‘in’ songs very loudly each night, sometimes being very irritable. It’s good to be that upbeat even when closing, but FFS please take into consideration of others.
Yeeeeeeet
Good customer service provided by the coffee shop Aunty!
Food is nice
Proper zhi char. Good quality and service. Delicious.
Good food in there
Great Variety during lunch time
Food is getting worst
Decent food
Neighbourhood food centre
Love this stall’s chwee kway and chee cheong fun! The sambal chili very shiok! If you want to eat chwee kway do come early, the chwee kway usually sold out at 10am.
Breakfast bee hoon stall has nice bee hoon
The food there is a good selection and the atmosphere is alright, although there isn’t nothing to say much besides that, if you are hungry and is nearby, you can try their food cause you PROBABLY won’t be disappointed.
Always bustling. Yong Tau Foo has fresh ingredients. Western stall’s chicken chop is a must try. Indian/Muslim stall has good prata too.
Good
Nice place, good food
Authentic Zhi Char stall. So far, dishes tried on many occasions were consistently good. Service is good too. Like!
Thanks for all your reviews.
The fry mee hoon and the fishball noodles there is delicious
Foods ok, wash basin barely has water, the basin for children only has a tiniest trickle of water, and no soap. Not sure if those hawkers do wash their hands properly back at their stalls.
Not many 24Hr coffeeshop in Punggol and it is frequent deliveries (Grab,Panda) in the night.
Good tenant mix.
The fish meat is quite thick.
the noodles shop is 24hr
Open till late and even 24hour for some stall.
Parata is nice but the curry is a bit let down.. Economy Beehoon stall super long Q on weekends morning…
A lot of things to eat
Normal copy time
Normal kopi tiam
Chilli is spicy and tasted like a blend of chilli sauce with usual Mee Pok Chilli, ingredients were pretty tasty though portion seems a little smooth and this is comparing to what you can get at Sengkang. Overall an average rating, eat when you feel like it but never come here just to eat it.
Very good!
Good shop prata!
Good prata shop!
I like this coffee shop a lot as it’s just 5 mins walk away from my estate. My favorite is the wan tan mee and the fishball noodles!
The zichar male staff handling orders is super cheerful and friendly, it makes the meal more enjoyable with such service crew! Kudos to him.
Can’t complain. One of the better food around this area
About 10 stalls, friendly zhichar, Western looks good, popular PGFN,.. kopi peng made on the spot (not pre-made) yay!!
Love the fish stream boat, curry fish and hor fun here.
I come here for the prata. Iz very good.
Good nasi lemak/beehoon (only morning, closed on Wed). Also recommend Chinese rojak/muah chee (afternoon), duck noodles, western and prata stall.
Avoid caifan. Small portion and several times food was not fresh (steam fish was sour and vegetables turned slimy).
Good service and good food(zi char)
Nice coffeeshop with local branded delights: PGFN fish all noodles and Tiong Bahru chwee kuay.
love the San low Hor fun & sweet & sour pork!
Good food and friendly staff.
Hard to find Zhi Char stall like this one. Tasty hor fun, fish stream boat, curry fish head, etc. Good value for money too.
Love the curry fishhead and steamboat. The others are also good. It’s really great to have a place like this in the Punggol . Like!
Not a lot of food to choose. At night prata and me goreng are OK.
Economic food center
A Coffeeshop found within Punggol Block 261 beside Soo Teck LRT station. There is a Cai Fan(Mixed Vegetables rice) stall, Indian food, western, roasted meat delight, Yong Tau Foo and Zi char which operates in the evenings.
Coffeeshop size is small so do not expect to find seats during peak hours. The coffeeshop can be humid if you are seated inside. Other than that nothing stands out about this eatery.
Nasty person in the seafood stall
Only Indian food stall open at around 12:15am when I reached.
Nice food could be found here.
Quick dinner last night. Hor fun is way above average. Will be back for more….
Not bad
Food is not bad… good a try…
Ordered cereal prawn, prawn paste fried chicken, hot plate toufu, and long bean with shrimp paste… the serving is just nice for a typical family size of 4… every dish is delicious! please look for Alan, he is good. He can recommend you dishes and also very attentive. Definitely will come back again!!!
Very nice Tze Char stall staff!
Nice to catch a mid-night snack
