The store is very big and carries a variety of products. The queue may be quite long during the weekends – but there a lot of cashier, so the queue does move quite fast.
Many things on offer and plenty of parking space. Best part is that it is 24hours.

Surprisingly well stocked for a neighborhood grocers with quite a wide variety of products. The prices are average and on par with NTUC fairprice. Giant is certainly cheaper than both for many items. The good thing about this place is the food court right opposite, the bus stop and MRT station really close by.

The check out counter is the best. If you check out in trolley they will scan… pack… and put back at the trolley for you. You do not have to do anything.

I always come here to buy my groceries even though I don’t stay here. I can’t imagine not shopping here – live fishes, good selection of pork and chicken. Yeah chicken maybe more than expensive than at some wet markets for things like plates of chicken breast meat but you can buy most of your things even at 9pm! Only one other Sheng Siong I know of that’s better than this one and that’s the Jurong West/Jalan Bahar one.

Unlike the NTUC supermarket at Buona Vista which is relatively small and its prices are pricey, and whose staff generally display a ‘tidak apa’ attitude, this place is really a heaven and a haven to do one’s shopping…You name it; it generally carries the merchandise! Hv not been to sheng shiong tanglin halt for a long time. Tonight went n saw the kitchen towels on offer. As i tried to pull one packet fr the stock, the price tag stand suddenly fell n hit my forehead. I informed a female staff n she immediately went to the office. She took a box of zambuk n helped me to apply on my forehead. Feedback to staff that they should not put the stand like that. She immediately removed n placed it in a safer manner. Very grateful for the excellent service offered by sheng shiong staff. When i reached home, i felt a little pain on the forehead. Following day the forehead is still painful. Hopefully it will slowly heal.

Your price is not the cheapest. The shops in the neighborhood are much cheaper than you. For example, omarga 3 milk powder, oatmeal, etc., are all much cheaper than yours.

Visit this place often as it’s in my neighbourhood. The range of goods is amazing but mostly local and Asian brands, not as many imported US or European brands as compared to say NTUC or Cold Storage. But then I can find most of what I want here. Looks no frills so people tend to think products here are cheaper. But still better to compare price, you’ll be surprised some items might be more expensive or same price as elsewhere.

On Sunday 27-5-2018 morning, I realised l lost my Mastercard near paying machine no. 2 while exiting from the supermarket. I searched everywhere but could not find it. I told your staff and they quickly helped me to search for it. They even wanted to assist me to inform the bank to cancel my card if it was really lost. While we were still searching for it, a kind Samaritan couple came and gave the card to your staff. They said they found it on the floor near machine no.2. I was so happy to see my lost card. Your staff checked the name on the card to confirm I was the rightful owner before handing back to me.
I was so impressed and I would like to thank them again for the excellent service and the Samartan couple who found my card.

A well sized shengsiong outlet that have fresh fish, meat and grocery.
My place is near Sheng Siong. It is open 24/7. But if youre planning to buy sea food better come early coz they keep the seafoods away at night but fishes on the rack fridge. They have big crabs and lobsters all alive in the water tank. There are always sales and new fruits. The store is not as big as giant or cold storage but very decent place to buy everything you need.
As I will move out perhaps this December or January next year, the good thing is very near my home and just convenient. Furthermore, it is 24 hrs.

To avoid queue, I went early to pick up kampong chicken. Get the meat counter to cut the chicken to pieces. The guy asked me to go back and get a “softer” chicken because difficult to cut. I went back with same chicken because found all half frozen. Now the queue with 4 persons ahead. They have knife that cuts pork bones. But apparently not sharp enough cut half frozen chicken!

I always, wish there’s one Sheng Siong in our neighbourhood, i cook good food for my family. I cannot be checking prices on every items n rude cashiers. That’s why I drive out to Sheng Siong Chinatown to buy my groceries.. no stress

Friendly service, good merchandising mix, however prices have gone up drastically, no diff between NTUC & them, I think Giant is a better option.
A 24 hrs supermarket that is well stocked with large variety of products. Do look out for their salmon promotion which is always priced slightly lower than all the other competitors. You can get most of the things which you want. However it cannot be compared with the hypermarkets though.
This is a huge supermarket that is very accessible from the MRT. There is also a huge multi-storey carpark above it.

Weird cashier system, has auto self cashiers, but not usable? Number of open lines very low for size of market, Q took longer than time I took walking the whole mart for my stuff…
Quite a big sheng siong. Was able to find all the stuff i wanted. Carpark to sheng siong was convenient, located just above with lift access and ample parking.
Was at this store this morning & has the best experience ever at a supermarket ! I left my mobile phone at one of the shelf & realised it only at the payment counter. I was panic & started to search for my phone. Luckily I met this staff (mobile 94682658) & he helped to call my number to locate it as well as checking with his other staffs. If not for the dedicated & honest Sheng Siong team, I would have lost my mobile phone. A BIG THANK YOU to the Siong Siong team !

Quite big and product types very diverse. A bit dirty, saw cockroaches crossing the aisle… Just a bit curious why staff said the self-serve counters ain’t working, but there were people using them?
Good varieties of products, always have promotional items such as purchase of vitagens, yogurts, soya milk, milk worth $20 which comes with a borisilicon glassware, etc. Offer prices for blueberries, grapes, etc, which are so worth it. Our NTUC supermarket cannot even be compared with Sheng Siong. A thumbs up to shop at Sheng Siong.

Spacious, clean, large with wide variety of goods. Good friendly service like in all other Sheng Siong outlets. Parking is convenient as it is under the multi-storey carpark. There is a koufu kopitiam with quite a variety of food stalls in front of it. Will return to shop here again.

I like to go grocery shopping at ShengSiong@Tanglin HALT, as it is just around my place. But yesterday I experienced a special thing for cooking wine. Last time the cooking wine was located with other soya light/dark oil and vegetable oil together etc. together , which was easy to find and collect, now not sure why all the cooking wines are shifted to (upgraded) to wine/beer shelf. I did ask for help from staff after I was failed to search in whole area. So tough for a daily shopper. Is it because of wine in its name? If senior customers come to shop for that, it was really tough for this new arrangement. Maybe ShengSiong can provide more guide service to make sure customer can find what is for cooking and what is for drinking in the same shelf level. Is it a small stuff? !
Anyway I thanks the cashier’s help to solve my needs in last minutes.
