Since meat and fish are sold, there is a strong smell of fish and meat.
So happy to shop here, seemed and looked a little disorganised. There was some serious refrigeration issues then, probably added to the slight disorganised state. BUT, the staff are all so helpful, smiling, so positive and professional. Unlike some so organised supermarket where you cannot even find a staff for assistance. SS forever

Good place to pick up day-2-day groceries… the vegetables and fruits are fresh and do have good options for other items too. The stores have started a new way of check out where in all items are scanned and payment needs to be made outside counter, pretty cool !

The entrance to the supermarket and the exit is always well facilitated and regulated especially during this period.

May not be the best laid out, most upmarket or have the widest selection of groceries but you are assured of competitive pricing, good choices for seafood and value for money deals.
Too crowded must limit the crowd in inside they’re no safe distancing and dont allow customer with children best is only one is doing the buying
Aisles are bigger now so can push a baby stroller in and removed the fresh seafood section so the area is not so wet now
This is always our to go supermarket to buy groceries every month. Prefer going at night as the counter always not so full compared to during the day time. Things are always stocked up well and always got promotion on the frozen items.

It has most things that I need for my business
For more than once, the same cashier did not give the receipts to my helper, and told her there was no receipt when being asked for it.
Found out from another regular customer who had the same experience as my helper, according to her observation of the timings, it was most likely that this cashier wanted to keep the receipts for herself to participate in the lucky draw. I don’t participate in Sheng Siong lucky draws, but I need the receipts to know prices of the items, especially sometimes we were helping people to make purchase.
