Very convenient to go by from residence to Fajar LRT station to do marketing n buy groceries. All necessary items to pick are well arranged n you simply go to where the counter is n take up your choice of things that you need to buy. From dry goods to wet market, all are well organised. Payment at the counters are very systematic too. Excellent!

Finally there is a competetion to Giant in Fajar shopping centre.
For many years the Giant had monopoly and their service was pathetic.. can already change in the staff at giant since opening of sheng siong.. Adoption of self service payments at SS is efficient and no need to Q. 24 hr open so can always plan our visit at less crowded times.. A Bit crowded on weekends and aisle are small.. Trolleys are impossible and hence absent. Nevertheless, always had good experiwnceand prices are competetive.

Promo items are bargain buy, so grab a few if u need them. The shop seems packed with narrow corridor, so avoid peak hours when u shop. The self-checkout stations are semi-self service type – the cashier scans and packs all yr items and then u proceed to make payment at a designated machine. Different from fairprice, giant & cold storage….was a little confused at first…
