One of the bigger SS outlet with double storey. Impressed by the space.
But the whole place is kinda dilapidated and is in need of sprucing up. The goods are also displayed in a rather haphazard way ie u can find item A here and then a few aisles down, u see item A again. Rather confusing.
They carry quite a good range of items as they have all the space to do so.

I think Sheng Siong give better value Service than NTUC Fair Price. I believe NTUC is more expentive most of the items. At one time it was the champion of fair Price it certainly lost its objective. I give NTUC half a star. They should remove Seah KP.

Cheap and good place for grocery shopping. Hwvr, recently they are changes to the arrangements of the check out counters. The cashier screens are placed in such a manner that customers have to stand BEHIND the cashiers and look OVER their shouldes in order to see the screens. I find this arrangement very very inconvenient. A number of shoppers I met share the same view. I hope SS will do something abt this.
This Sheng Siong supermarket is a 2 storey building by itself. Spacious and have a wide variety of offerings. Fruits and vegetables at this outlet are fresh and regularly replenished. Due to the big foyer in front of the store, you can find a wide range of promotional items here especially during festivals. Check out is fast.
This is larger Sheng Siong and has plenty of item stocked here. You can sometimes find items which NTUC Fairprice don’t carry. Spacious and huge selection, avoid peak hours which is the morning and evening especially on weekends cos it gets very crowded. Actually I preferred their payment system which is more efficient than Cold Storage and Fairprice.
Looks disorganised but lots of help if you need to find anything. Fast checkout. Cashiers are one of the best in Singapore; efficient, courteous and have an endless amount of patience.

Great supermarket chain, very efficient. Great prices and staff! Sometimes the same items (or very similar) are even cheaper upstairs so be sure to check first.
It’s rather big and has lots of products.
However, rice is super pricy compared to Fair Price. Too crowded, so the security is rather poor. Some customers even attempted to pickpocket my mother once.
This is a really large supermarket where you have a great range of products and some really good specials.For Western cooks some ingredients are not available but recently they have added more.If you like pork they have an in house butcher where you can select your cuts of pork. For those cooking Asian food everything is available.For Chinese New Year they have a comprehensive range of products to cook all your favourite dishes and serve to your guests.
It is actually a nice supermarket for shopping groceries. Best to avoid mornings. If you go on the afternoon, it is quite pleasant. It is large: with two floors of retail space. The prices are reasonable and the staff are really polite and friendly especially those at the checkouts. The things I dislike:
-using the trolleys. Sometimes you feel that they do not even sanitise them as you see bits of rubbish left over from the previous users.
-fish area as the fishy smell is quite strong
-sometimes at the entrance it is congested with unloaded goods which block access to the carpark.

This outlet is like an air-conditioned mini wet market. You can get a good range of spices and dried goods across cuisines here, from McCormick seasonings to Shandong fried chilli flakes to the various types of Dhal. Get unusual vegetables and herbs which are not found in the other supermarket chains, like Thai Basil, Banana flower, ginger flower, etc.

One of the largest supermarkets around in West Coast. Conveniently located with Markets, Coffee Shops, Hawker Centers, Restaurants and amenities. definitely better than other Supermarkets in terms of choices, services and prices.
Wide variety of products available. Quite surprised to see that they carry some rare, imported brands and items occasionally from fruits to snacks to fresh ‘live’ seafood, which are not available in other supermarkets like NTUC. Prices are super competitive and their house-brand products are generally not too bad in comparison to other popular brands. They have many deals and promotions on a weekly basis, including quality wines going at two-for-one sometimes. Staff are all very friendly and on-the-ball even when the supermarket is super busy, especially on weekends. There’s even a small butchery in-store which offers affordable cuts of meat. Ample parking available around the supermarket. There’s also a small collection of pet and gardening products on level 2.

This super market has a variety of options available. One down side here is there is there is no self checkout option nor they have a dedicated lane for few items/quick checkout. Even if you have just 1 item, need to wait in a long queue. Not good for any quick buyers here as most of the time it will busy.

Ah Chin has made my day in West Coast Sheng Siong. I brght my dad in wheelchair n he volunteered to help push him to lvl 2 so tt my dad could visit the place. He also helped when we were doing our payments for stuffs purchased. Kudos to Sheng Siong for hiring such a good exemplary worker! He is new to the job!! Thank you Ah Chin for making my dad’s visit a wonderful experience!!

It’s a nice super market with reasonably priced products. The range is also huge. Payment system is pretty smooth and fast. I like the idea of separating the billing and payment counters as it manages the crowd really well.

very nice sheng siong supermarket. items sold are cheaper than NTUC and Cold storage. The fish/meat sold are also fresh!! Live nearby and would usually come here 3 to 5 times a month. A lot of stocks of food but usually the vegetables are pretty rotten and left with only 1-5 packets during evening timings so must come early morning!!
Its got everything you need to cook local dishes with some prices matching the local markets!

Like the fresh vege and seafood dept. They have pancake mix that dddk carries too. Durians are on sale outside the store. Many ppl here every time i visited here, cos they can find things they want.
Avoid peak hours if you do not like to queue. Peak hours are weekdays usually morning and near closing times. Weekends are usually crowded except afternoon between 3-5pm.
Looking for live seafood? This supermarket has it all!! GongGong, white clam, Mussels, crab, prawns, fishes and more!!!

Nowadays, your Clementi’s outlet cashiers quite unfriendly. The way they talked and the way they treated customers had displayed that. Also they ignored serving while they casually talking to each other. Hope that you can improve their quality while at the frontline serving customers. Thank you.
Environment was clean n it was quite a big supermart w 2 stories. The safe entry was done in a orderly manner.
Items were comparatively same prices w ntuc n Giant, but some items on promo will b quite a good bargain. Some item brands could only b found here.
Most impt the staffs working there were all v cheerful n helpful towards customers n among their colleagues. Nt sure is it bcos of their high bonus?

I think this is the biggest store so far. 2 level wide range. And price are actually different from my place.

Disorganised shop, food differs from being bad to okay and random stuff sold outside the actual shop. Probably the reason their are so many crimes and things been stolen.
Update 23 May 2022: Safe distancing measures have been lifted except for wearing a mask. No more trace together check.
Update 24 January 2022: Can get busy at the checkout counters even on weekday evenings especially when it is near Lunar New Year. Payment by credit card may be made at the machine next to the packing staff, so no need to go to the row of machines.
Good selection of groceries. Efficient check out system where the human staff does the packing and the machine processes the payment.

You can easily find all kinds of daily need even flush sea foods at the basement.
Most of there vegetables is directly from Malaysia by daily.

Is easy to look for parking lots but always crowded in every weekend.

This is one nice place a sheng siong at west coast. Gf shops here and sis shops here for their groceries.
*Don’t blindly buy with out looking at expiry it’s cheap due to revised expiry date. AVA knows but closing 1 eye.
Prices are usually fair here. I like one at Clementi West as compared to Woodlands and Tanglin Halt or even Bedok. At Clementi West Branch the displays are neat & well organised. Unfortunately is far & more crowded.

This is the large one… The vegetables are fresher here’s and they do a good job of separating vegetables from the mat section so it’s really convenient for veggie me… It does have almost all of the daily household needs so a great one stop solution …

Just beware of expiry item other than that, this is a great place to get groceries. They have a wide varieties of items and they have stuff that NTUC may not carry. However, some of the items on the looks old and Dusty.

Well-stocked and spacious 24h supermarket. Payment is semi-automated with manual scanning by staff and payment at kiosks. Clear segregation of items though there is no labelling of which areas contain which items so first time shoppers may take a while to navigate. A pretty good supermarket overall

I bought 5 Thai mangoes for $3.85. They are always one of the earliest and best-priced for fruit seasons. The supervising staff at check out is lovely at Clementi. On 2nd April, I was afraid I had paid for some cereal bars but may have left them. I mentioned it to the staff, but since I threw the receipt, I told her my credit card used and items I brought home.
I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call – they cross checked my receipt & the items were not charged. Caring service goes a long way to retain customer loyalty. Well done!
