It is a supermarket where you can get almost everything. One thing i dislike this place is the cashier,most of them are so lazy to take out the things from your basket which they have to push your basket to the side so that things could be easier to take. I dont understand to lift up the things from the basket,how much strengths one really need? They are just plain lazy.
My grocery Haven. Fresh pork and seafood is the most popular here. Things always well stocked and staff are genuinely happy people. Always a good work out shopping as one would have to comb through 2 levels of shopping area to get a good variety of things. They even have toys and school necessities!

Good spread of items for your daily needs including fresh vegetables and fish. Located very near to the Bedok MRT and bus interchange.
Two-storey shopping with 2 travellators between the floors. Cold fresh items downstairs. Aisles are a bit narrow and you have to avoid the trolleys too. Payment is now such that you scan everything first and then will be directed to a payment machine.

Sheng Siong rarely disappoints! It is well stocked and you can usually find what you need here at lowest market prices. Other than Cold Storage Leisure Park which is my go to for specialty imported items, this Sheng Siong outlet is my go to supermarket.

I like the fresh meat and vegetables here. Not better than wet markets, but more convenient. There’s no smoked bacon (only the chemically processed ones), but I guess typical Singaporeans don’t eat that anymore. Check out is faster than other supermarkets.

Love to shop at New Upper Changi Rd Sheng Siong. They bring in a lots of brand and lots of varieties. What I could not find at other place e.g nutmeg sweet.I am glad to find it at SS. Plus those small jellydrops sweet. Mamee vegetarian bee hoon etc ….

One of their biggest branches (2-storey) open 24hrs n carry good mix n wide variety of vegi, fruits, meats & groceries of which some u won’t get from other supermarkets n even other Sheng Siong branches. They also carry live seafood at reasonable prices. HDB Multi storage parking os next door. Vegi n fruits r fresh. Staff r friendly n helpful. One of my favorite supermarkets in the east side.
Sheng Shiong as always has a foul stench when you enter. When you enter, the odor of “fresh fish” fills the atmosphere. The fish smells like as through it is beginning to decompose. The vegetables look very sad and almost drying up. Sheng Shiong is cheap and that attracts old folks to purchase their groceries from them. But for me, no. I would avoid Sheng Shiong at all cost.

Always appreciate the fact that staff service here is good and the variety of fresh produce and meat here is excellent. Do note, however that this is catered more towards the Asian families so you wont find a specialized cured meats or delicatessen here.
Also one of the larger Sheng Siong supermarket in the area with two floors, lower one for groceries and upper one for dried goods. Very spacious and do remember to check out the Chinese cooked foods store before you leave!
My regular weekly grocery place besides the near by Ntuc. This place is good with very wide range of products from seafood, meats, fruits and vegetables. I am sure you won’t miss any items in your list. Upstsirs with dried stuff, nicely packed, easy to find your items. Staff are very friendly especially those young guys… they know their products well and also help to explain and recommending to customers on how to cook and use it. The more senior ah jie are also experience enough to handle customer services well. A sad point is those Part time cashier used to over charged or scanned twice if they are not paying attention. So pls check your items before leaving.
Uses to have nice and good China snacks, dinner and lunch side dishes and pan cakes with minced meat but had moved out, sad. We would like to have something special back but not the common Mr Bean

You may pay using Apple Pay at the older cashier counters, but not at the “self checkout” counters with cash collection machines. Hope they get this upgraded soon!
I also like that Sheng Siong displays wise quotes in English and Chinese on the cashier monitor (which also shows you the breakdown of your purchased items and total cost).

A great place to do your marketing. Wide selections of fresh vegetables, meat, seafood, fruits and frozen products. Stocks are always replenished which makes you feel comfortable especially during the Circuit Breaker period, unlike other big supermarket nearby where shelves were always empty and giving a sad atmosphere.
Prices at Sheng Siong are reasonable. Staff service are excellent. They are friendly, always smiling, displaying joy and proud of the Company they work for.

This supermarket has very affordable price on most items! There’s a couple of supermarts nearby, but this will be the first one to go for! The pork belly sold here has the most fats (which is what I’m looking for!) Nearest MRT is Bedok (Green line), and only take 5 to 10 mins walk.

Though this store is near my house, I have started patronizing only recently.
I would say I loved the experience.
The one aspect which I was highly impressed was the service by the cashiers. They are quick, efficient and courteous.
In many places when service staff thank the customers, I feel it to be mechanical, coming from the mouth but not from the heart. Yet in some places they don’t even thank, when I thank them some of them don’t even acknowledge.
Here at Sheng Siong my experience was different.
I feel the thanks which they say comes from their heart, with warmness.

1. I felt that the space between shelves is narrow, could be a bit spacious for easy movement.

Well went to Sheng Siong to buy Durian and NOT grocery…lol…It was a LONG LONG Queue as you can see the photo i uploaded. The Durian company is call Deluxe. And alittle bit disappointed that the $2 offer durian is NO longer available. Left Mao Shan Wang per kg charge or $40 Mixed with 3 durian like D101/Red Prawn…. And bear in mind that there is NO boxes provided. You must hand carry with the Red Color Plastic Bag. As for the human traffic control is decent managed. Hopefully the BIG Sign like showing SOLD OUT for the day can be display and put 2 person at the last person queuing to prevent more people from joining the Queue. Almost forgot, the quality of the durian is Good. Not sure Mao San Wang.
Sheng Shiong is my one-stop place for doing marketing, and most prices are competitive.

This place has a good selection of fresh produce, meat and poultry. The second floor sells dry goods, drinks, snacks and other amenities. Located centrally in bedok, this supermarket is always crowded. Some of the vegetables and fruits often get grabbed off the shelves the moment they are restocked, so you need to time your visit strategically on the weekends and reach early to avoid disappointment.
Today I go to buy live crabs from sheng siong .I came across very friendly n helpful young chinese man who helps us to select n recommend us the best female crabs that I never can get from ntuc supermarkets n chops up nicely by his co colleague. BOB BEST OF THE BEST

The staff usually place and arrange foodstuffs while we shoppers were Browing. Cleaning with mobile cleaner while shoppers around. Very inconvenient. All this should be done after 11 pm when less shoppers.

Loved the fact that it is open 24 hours and you can still get good quality and selection of seafood late in the evening. Although not as fresh as the wet markets, the fact that I can visit in the evening after work when the wet markets are closed is a major plus point.
Given a choice, I would rather order online at online merchants rather than come all the way to this supermarket, cause the Q to Go in is bloody long and once you’re in there, it’s bloody messy with many necessities all snapped up and also, the Q at the cashier does NT help 1 bit.

Convenient 24 hour supermarket, close to the train station. However their self-checkout system is inferior to NTUC/Cold Storage. You have a choke point where a single staff still scans all the items.

This is by far the most cost effective outlet I have visited. The myth that Sheng Siong prices depend in the location of the outlet is a fact. This outlet has either lower costs or more offers (2+1) as compared to those in central area such as Clementi or the one near to kent ridge.

It’s not okay. Prices of goods are tagged high and the reason is always the same. Take a look at
E.G. onions, potatoes, sweet potatoes, most vegetables etc don’t talk about fishes and other seafoods, these are exorbitantly high. People take opportunity to raise prices quoting pandemic virus as the reason. Nobody cares and buyers got no choice.
Has every food item I need. And the payment counters are very efficient and quick. NTUC Fairprice need to learn from them as I find the payment there draggy and slow. Even the Giant self payment counters are more efficient than the Fairprice counters which I find to be cumbersome and archaic.
Alas, Fairprice happens to have certain items not found at Giant or Sheng Siong so I still have to bear with the inefficient systems there.

This shop ordered in allot of CNY goodies and related foods and sells in twos! You will need to have a rather big family to consume that much of a mandarins.
Having said that, it does change the atmosphere to one that ushers in the new year.

Breezy with lots of stocks and good pricing. We found chocolate chips for baking when it is out of stock evetywhere else.
Most days can get awesome buys. Service is generally good. Some of the fruits don’t look very fresh. Expect less western grocery choices like assortments of hams and cheeses.
Large variety of goods, but there’s usually a queue at the counters at all times of the day due to it’s accessibility, so expect to wait for a little bit, even during off-peak periods.

I use to go Sheng Shiong and get groceries that I want. I find that Sheng Shiong is a one-stop store where I can get everything I wanted.

Sheng song staff is friendly and handle the flower I bought with care, in fact I wanted to buy at the other supermarket a bundle of flower buy the cashier handle the flower very ruff untill one of the flower torn I have to give up.
Loved for the wide variety of produce and products it offers. The Wet market section offers competitive prices and good stock to choose from. Less of chicken but more of seafood and meat. They also have lot of Indian veggies and spices to offer however few could be expensive. E.g. 2 drumsticks were priced $2 which is very high. You can usually buy drumstick at $5 for a Kg. Overall, This two storey building is a one stop shop that has everything you need at affordable price.

Bought a packet of 3in1 soybean powder drink and threw away the receipt as soon as i went home. Opened on the second day and realised 1 of the packet inside had a small hole causing the powder inside leaked over the big packet. Tried my luck to ask for exchange with a staff and I was brought to the supervisor, explaining to him the whole incident. Surprisingly he allowed for exchange without hesitant, and even offer a plastic bag to carry the exchange good. Totally made my day as I was ok if they didn’t allow for exchange considering I did’t have any receipt as proof. Thank you Sheng Siong Bedok Town Centre.

As usual Sunday. Quite a crowd but still OK as I noticed shoppers practising safe distancing. Get what they want n leave. Well, I really hope that this will be a norm for all of us in S’pore. We do not want a second wave of this pandemic like some other country.

This is a large airconditioned supermarket with 2 floors (with escalators) that one can get all kinds of everyday neccesities there. Prices are reasonable & there are different offers daily that help cut down costs. I often buy fresh produce like fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, sweet potatoes, Chivers’ fruit jam, chilled vacuum packed peeled raw garlic & sliced yam, tofu, chilled fresh unsweetened soya milk, frozen mixed veg, edamame just to name a few. The staff are pleasant, efficient & helpful. Opens 24 hrs with public carpark nearby in Bedok Central.

Sheng Siong is a well known place for most housewifes u can get everything there from fresh food to vegetables fruits coffee tea biscuits to even cut fruits. They have toliterites to electric ware. Only no clothes n shoes. Good place to fir yur daily cooking stuff.

Two-storey and wide variety of items available for 24 hours. Price for most of the items are cheaper than many shops around the neighborhood. The auto checkout is the most interesting part because the system seems like redundant. The cashier needs to scan all the items and put the items in plastc bag before assigning a counter to tap your credit card for payment. Not that I am complaining. It makes my life easier.

The place is small, and yet rich with resources. You can find almost everything there. But you have to compare the prices between Sheng Siong and NTUC. Sometimes the prices will differ.

Great for grocery shopping if you live in the area, there are a wide variety and selection of produce, seafood and local delights. It is also now 24/7. It also has an inclined travellator so you can do grocery shopping in bulk with a push trolley!
I bought a whole salmon and requested it to be filleted. They actually had each piece packed in an individual plastic based kind of tray. I think this is absolutely good service. Nicely cleaned and packed. No need to wash and pack when I get home. EXCELLENT. …

Decent supermarket, pretty well stocked, efficient & friendly check-out counter staff, good service at seafood and Pork counters.
However, one year ago I asked Supermarket Manager to look into trolley return at HeartBeat car park. No action. NTUC trolley return bays all over Bedok Central.
The Sheng Siong is a awesome place to shop, the only problem there is the heavy smell of poultry especially fish smell, Sheng Siong should work on this to eliminate the heavy odor. Other than that is fine!
Just like any other supermarket, there is a wide variety of affordable produce.
Sheng Siong’s house brand products are reasonably priced and taste as good as those “branded”. Check out “Happy Family” and “Tasty Bites”. One of my favorite is their pop corn chicken!
Another Singaporean grocery store. Can’t comment on prices etc. Is quite accessible with a wheel chair, staffs friendly, isles are well stocked.
Conveniently located near Bedok MRT station and the Bedok interchange hawker centre.
Two floors. The bottom floor was mainly for fresh produce, frozen products, dairy and fruits. There were tanks for live boston lobsters, crabs, oysters and abalones too!!!
Upstairs offered dried food, snacks, instant food, personal care and other household cleaning products.

One of the large sized chain super market that sells everything you’ll need for day to day. As this outlet is walking distance to another Ntuc, you can literally compare prices if you are price conscious.
Very crowded and selection of goods drop from before. Prices always going up…need more promotions and product on discount
Basically everything you need can be found here. Generally I find the veg here is cheaper with many varieties.
Wide selection of products. Found out that orange peel packets were even cheaper than Bedok’s neighbourhood provision shops!
