As a hawker at the nearby food centre, I can attest to the top notch service that the staff here regularly provides.
Staffs are very friendly which contribute to the high dating.
Only downside is entrance quite hard to be found for first timer.

The location is not easy to find in building B1. The clerk is very satisfied with the service. You can find things and return the goods quickly. The checkout is done by the machine after the clerk swipes the barcode. It is a bit fresh, and the key point is 24hr

It has more variety of goods than the Chinatown one and has more stocks as well. The corridor that leads to the entrance of the supermarket is rather narrow.
One thing that Sheng Siong stands out from other supermarkets is that they sell in small portion, like one cucumber or two tomatoes, like in wet markets, which is suitable for small households.
Everything have time only. The only downside is washroom is super secluded in the staff entrance. Thus if you are in state of emergency, you will really need to ask for directions

This is probably one of the biggest Sheng Siong supermarkets. It’s located at basement 1 and was kind of hard to locate (no directions indicating that the store was downstairs). I went on a Sunday afternoon and there were very few customers around. So, it was a good relaxing shopping experience. Prices are reasonable as with all Sheng Siong stores.

I love Sheng Siong. It has diverse items that are not often available at other supermarket such as Petai, Singkong (tapioca root), ABC sambal, various vegetarian meals, spring roll skin, traditional kueh and bread. The price are cheaper too. Too bad they closed the one at Tekka Place. I really miss it because it was even bigger with 2 floors.

To give a tip for Koreans, first of all, it’s at least close to Lavender Station. If you go straight on the road behind Hotel Boss, it is within 5 minutes. However, the entrance is on the back side, not the side where you can see the signboard, so please note that when you purchase a drink, you will receive an additional $0.15 for what is in the refrigerator. The price is cheaper than most convenience stores (Seven, Cheers), and in Korea, it is equivalent to GS Supermarket or Home Plus Market and Lotte Super. Please note.

Something about sheng shiong make it feels like a wet market with air con ….my mum like to buy her vegetable and fruits here …as they have better produce , it also have good selection of fresh fish …price are reasonable and can be compared with other supermarket such as fair price and cold storage …however the cashier area is quite narrow and small ….it can cause a bottle neck if it is crowded …I guess at the end of the day …people enjoy the sheng siong show because every week they will pick a winner on the TV to get some price …
