The only mall in this area comprising of mostly eatery and restaurants. There are also other irregular shops you would not find in any other shopping malls. Toilets are sometimes broken (no access), and mall hygiene is sometimes questionable, probably due to it being the preferred choice for lunch.

Not much to do here unless you like shopping at OG. Within Cuppage Plaza are some eateries and Japanese bars and restaurants. There’s the famous Orchard Yong Tau Foo shop at a corner on level 1. The sitting space is real tiny and can be rather uncomfortable if crowded. Do not go there during lunch time if you have big shopping bags!
Sells out fast, not much choices of yong tau foo after lunch. Their selling point is their dipping sauce which is thicker and more flavourful than other stalls. The bosses are friendly and obliging if you like more dipping sauce. One of their male workers manning the cooking side can be very rude to customers. Had witnessed him telling potential customers off rudely that it’s OK not to eat here if they are not happy with the choices of yong tau foo

Apart from hints of after-hour activities as one catches sights of sexily-dressed ladies standing outside amongst the many Japanese karaoke joints here, this building actually has a few notable dining establishments, of which well-known Japanese yakitori restaurant – Kazu is a top favourite of mine. Then of course, there’s always retail therapy at OG for the regular shoppers.

Decent place for a Friday/Saturday night. The place is buzzing. There is a bollywood club which is open till 5am. Though entry is $25 and it covers only one drink. Also, watch out, the bartenders in the club charge different people for different amounts. Also, they billed my friend on his credit card, told him that the transaction was declined and then made him pay by cash. The next day he saw the money deducted from his account. So beware. There are numerous other clubs too.

The popular place to lunch among local officer workers. My favorite is the Orchard Yong Tao Hu. Isle Cafe is good for local ready cooked meal served with steam rice. There are other food stalls to be explored too. Though not a cosy place, it is good enough for casual meals.
