A pretty old and small mall. Used to have lots of people coming. The carpark is small and normally have queues outside. This mall is also not under capitaland anymore. Just a normal shopping mall selling the usual things

It’s a little out of the way for people who take public transportation but they do provide a shuttle service at Sembawang, Yishun, Canberra, and Woodlands. Average selection of shops, notably, Aston’s, Daiso, Mr. DIY, Giant hypermarket.

Good and huge neighborhood shopping mall located in the private estate that sits between Sembawang and Yishun districts.
Following the completion of the renovation pre-covid, the expanded spaces allows more retail, entertainment, family oriented serivces and food and beverages spaces for nearby residents or workers in the north area.
It has a rather large supermarket giant located at basement, with value added and affordable stores like Daiso or ValueShop at level 1.
These options attracts crowds even during off-peak hours which can be observed.
Water park styled playground offers some light entertainment for families with children and chartered bus services to populated areas like Woodlands, Sembawang and Yishun enable crowd to easily reach this shopping centre.

Halal cafeteria has nice selection of food. And fish soup is a fav! But the smell of this closed aircon food court is a bit disturbing

Small shopping mall… Can get daily needs on cheaper price.
    Alot of food shops inside.

A small shopping centre. However it is very convenient to nearby residents as there is Giant supermarket, Mr DIY, Daiso, food outlets, hair salon and others. SSC also provides regular free shutter services to nearby housing areas.

Very good. It’s not like those shopping malls you see them in Orchard Road. Yes, lots of eateries outlets. Few boutique shops but without customers most of the day. The main attraction is Giant, Diaso and the eateries outlets.

Pretty basic shopping mall with regular shuttle bus services. Lots of food shops here, including Astons which is always crowded.

Good place to visit if you wanna get some aircon without facing crazy crowds, would recommend crossing the street for some cafe hopping and White Beehoon!

Convenient little mall. My family usually shops at the Giant supermarket there. There are also a number of restaurants and stores like Daiso, Cotton On, etc. A pity Challenger has moved out. Parking can be a challenge over the weekends.

Proximity wise, where there’s not much of a choice in the surrounding (closest is Canberra), it does host lots of good retail shops. Macdonald’s is also poised to open soon at its first level. Since the Pandemic, I was delighted to find out that the playground at its top level is finally opened (there’s not too many public playground in the area). The water play area is still closed and from its state (cracked mats etc., It doesn’t look like it will open soon).

I used to stay around Sembawang area n would patronised the shopping ctr when I was young ie. 20to30 yrs ago.

The old place had more variety n more character if you asked me. Not that the new SSC is not good, but just so monotonous, like any other malls, minus all the glam and shine.

In its yester years, I recalled fondly the Sembawang Music shop owned by a humble but turned-arrogant owner, a basement food hall where a Thai food n a BBQ stingray stalls ‘owned’ the place, couple of 2nd hand wares shop, etc.

The nostalgia of the thought didn’t matched the physical set up as I walked thru the new mall. To me, the usual CottonOn, Coffee Bean, etc. just don’t create that ‘feeling’ anymore.

SSC should seriously look into the tenant mix at the upper floors. Food and shopping at B1 and level 1 is decent. Can’t say the same for other floors.

Good place to bring my family during the weekend, enjoy shopping for groceries in the Giant Supermarket and buy cheap stuff from DAISO and Valueshop. My Kids also enjoy playing at the outdoor playground. Burger King, Astons are the restaurant we frequent. The new MR.D.I.Y. will certainly be another crowd puller.

First time here. Nice western food and reasonable price. Definitely better quality sides than KFC. I ordered 1 chicken and 1 fish with selection of 2 choices of sides and a drink for $8.90. Presentation is appealing. Would recommend for a repeat visit.

This mall is quite small but sufficient for families with enrichment centers, restaurants, gym and hypermarket. If you are not looking to be doing window shopping, to be running errands, this mall should suffice.

The car park is horribly small. Going there for dinner even on a weekday is a hopeless affair. Queues into the car park start before 5pm. Other than this, the place has a Daiso and a large Giant supermarket. Good choices are ok, and children will love the JusAsia.

A place to go with family on your next shopping trip. There are Daiso, Gaint Hypermarket, Mr DIY, Valuedollar, and many other eateries as well. Popular bookstore is no longer here They also take the initiative to set up the event space to promote different things, the recent one was a Eco- Educational corner and how you could do your part to contributing towards Singapore’s Green Plan 2030. 🪴

A shopping center that has been very close to my heart since 1988 when I moved to a little known Yishun Housing estate. I still preferred the old shopping tenants with varieties of products. Anyway, it still attracts me as some shops could not be found in North Point City in Yishun, namely, Daiso, DIY, and some eateries.

This is a very average and not very large heartland mall. There’s a pretty big Daiso outlet, and a Giant hypermarket that has slightly more variety than the nearby NTUC at Sun Plaza. Plus point: they offer free shuttle bus services to Sembawang and Yishun. There are a couple of reasonably good eateries, with more across the road.

Improved tremendously over the years. More food options, Giant is great. Daiso is fantastic. And now there is Mr DIY! There is also a great water park for kids on the roof. Gave this place 4 stars because it can be bigger and parking can be limited.

Nice selection of stores for all your household needs and for a meal. Carpark is always full in the weekends and entrance to it can be congested. Burger King there is very small and seatings are too cramped. Other than that, it’s a nice heartland mall to browse through at a leasurely pace.

Short of a few clothing stores, the mall is adequately shelved with basic necessities. Learning establishments mostly occupied the top floor in this four-story mall. The mall is air-conditioned, albeit slightly colder at Giant supermarket (best to wear a light cardigan or windbreaker if your shopping takes longer).

  36. Avatar photo

1st visit. Surprisingly it was quite big with many eateries. There’s Daiso, Giant Hypermarkets, ValueDollar Store too. Not too bad …

  37. Avatar photo

This mall and the nearest area for foodies. Ssc have few fastfood restaurants including mc donalds and burgerking. Then affordable steak restaurant Aston at basement. Anytime fitness at ssc is large and crowded. Overall this mall is great. If anyone want to purchase shoes or dress, basically no shop here for that.

The mall is situated along the sembawang main road, and its not connected with Sembawang MRT. But you can reach to this place via the shuttle bus or public bus such as 856. It is always not too crowded so it is my favourite place for buying necessities. I like to visit Daiso, Value Dollar and mr DIY shops. There is a famous white restaurant which is just opposite of this mall.

Good for a heartlands shopping mall. Located and mainly convenient for those staying in and around Sembawang area. Nice spacious mall with all the shops you can ask for your everyday needs. Has a water play park on the 3rd floor. Only complaint was the ground floor male toilet has 3rd world cleanliness with broken toilet covers and surprises waits for u at every cubicle hahaha. And public transport accesibility is limited to buses from Yishun and Sembawang Mrt stations. But also they provide shuttle buses every few minutes so convenience added points there. Ample parking spaces for those driving.

Local neighborhood Singapore mall, doesn’t have a great variety of shops, but it’s a Nexus of local activity. There’s a Giant for all the daily provisions and a Daiso that makes the mall very convenient. Apart from that there is not much shopping to be done. There are a few mass market focused eateries. Just Acia has been a local staple for years.

Went to Giant Supermarket at Sembawang Shopping Centre. Looking for garlic bread. I was looking high and low for it at the bread section and could not find it. Asked the sales assistant and the kind lady guide me to the frozen section, which is at the other end of the supermarket. While at the frozen section, not only I bought the garlic bread, I also bought red bean pau, square puff tufo and tau kaw. After I left the supermarket, than I realised that I only came to buy the garlic bread but instead I have bought the extra items also. Received lectured from the missus, saying I bought things according to my whims at that spur moment without thinking. Maybe at that moment, I have the craving for rojak. This is the problem of old senior going to the supermarket unsupervised.

Mostly eateries and boutique stores. I can recommend a few eateries like Astons and Liho, and shops like giant, Bata, and Daiso. It is not very near convenient public transport but it is worth the trip. One thing that I do not like is the valet. It takes up so much space that it is quite annoying when you see the fifth floor so empty. One of the main attractions is Giant. It has reasonable prices, and is slightly cooler than the rest of the shops. Be sure to wear a light carnigian or jacket if your shopping takes a longer time.

Always a good place to go to during school holidays as they always have interesting programmes for young children. Furthermore, they have shuttle bus service everyday, even on weekends and public holidays.

There is Giant within the premises. There are also many eateries which serve good food. One of branches of the cheapest Karaoke joint, Teo Heng, can also be found here. another notable store that can be found here is Daiso.

Still, the number of shops here and variety of goods that can be found here is limited compared to other larger shopping malls.

It’s an alright place to shop for groceries with a huge giant store in the basement. A few educational places for kids on the top floor like Sun Plaza.

At the same time, there is not much variety in the way of food or entertainment, and the travel to that place is just in that inconvenient zone where you could walk and reach the place almost as fast as the bus from the MRT, yet you would decide to wait for the bus as it is more comfortable.

Despite the location, this mall still attracts lots of people especially on the weekends. Kudos to the management for keeping this place relevant over the years. It is not in a great location but it does offer free bus rides to and from the nearest MRT. It has a good mix of shopping and food. A Giant supermart in the basement, a large Daiso and a huge DIY discount store make shopping here quite interesting. There is a halal food court here as well as a number of outlets that provide meals at very reasonable prices. Good selection of restaurants, Giant Supermart. Free Shuttle Bus. Valet Parking. There’s tuition centers and music classes.

Very little else entertainment wise or even shoppin. As of May 2019 COTTON-ON is the only clothing store in the mall, BATA is the only shoewear, there’s no cinema, no jewelry, no watch wears, no electronics, no library.

It’s really not much of a shopping center then being a convenience center for the condo residents living near it for groceries, food and children’s educational needs.

Quite an old shopping mall to be honest. I don’t have much to say about the food, which is mainly located on the second and third floors (the restaurants). The basement also has some restaurants like Astons and Saizeriya. However, there is a great number of department shops like Daiso and Value, along with a big Giant at basement.

The one shop that interest me the most in this place is the value dollar shop. It has a wide variety and everything feels so heap when you browse around the stall once. The valet took up so many lots of weekends , I would prefer to park my own car than using the courtesy service. It is annoying to wait when you see the last floor is so empty. Just an average local mall. Had a large Giant store in the basement with good produce section. Has the usual beauty shops, tuition outfits etc. The foodcourt is expensive for the location and not recommended. There are numerous fast food chain locations as well as cafes. Outlet stores for Espirit and Cotton On are also here though with limited selections for the latter.

A tiny shopping centre with a good variety of shops. Giant Hypermart is located at B1, along with Teo Heng KTV and Saizeriya.
At ground level, there’s a couple of fast food restaurants amongst the different eateries. Daiso and Cotton On are on this level too.
On the 2nd level, there is an old timer hair salon that has been with SSC for more than a decade, Alan & Guys. In one unspoken corner, the shop selling uniforms has been quietly operating for a long time too. Near it, there is Popular Bookstore, and at the other corner, is the food court and mini video game arcade.
Open air playground can be found at the 3rd level along with a few enrichment schools for children. There’s a water fountain at one end of the playground, while the other end has a couple of small shower stalls for the kids to clean up after waterplay.

Good neighbourhood shopping mall and all but not when you’re here to workout after 10pm. Security lady will come and haunt you regardless you go out for a smoke or went nearby petrol kiosk to buy something. She claim that we should not park there and go out of the mall to eat if it’s past operating hours. If want to go out of the mall to eat, we must drive out. Which makes no sense at all.
After all, we’re PAYING for the carpark charges. Not the first time she accused me for going out of the mall to eat when I merely went out for a smoke break with the staff in the gym of the mall itself.

I understand she’s just doing her job, but at least be vigilant about who goes in & out of the mall especially when it’s just 5 mins interval.
I did not have any issue with other security guards as they recognize the regulars and we’re there to workout.

Do not come to this place after 10pm to avoid unnecessary disputes.

Avoid the shuttle service after the route update if you’re in a rush, extremely slow and misses the convenient stops. Same route took me 8 mins on public transport when shuttle took 25, excluding waiting time. Okay shopping centre if you live nearby, all the shops there are available in respective location’s nearest mall. Extremely overrated and the only good shops there are Teo Heng for KTV kakis and enrichment centers for parents, those are the only reasons you should take time to travel here instead of visiting your nearby shopping centres. I would have rated it 1 star just because of the sheer incompetence of whoever approved the new Woodlands route but the Giant Supermart there is pretty great.

My favourite food joint is Just Acia (I’ve included a picture of one of their menus… very reasonable prices), a family restaurant. All meals come with free flow drinks, icecream an yogurt.

Sembawang Shopping Centre is close to Sembawang MRT Station and Yishun MRT Station. The mall provides shuttle bus services which ply between SSC and the neighbouring towns including Sembawang, Yishun and Woodlands. On weekdays, SSC also operates lunch-time shuttle bus services to the nearby Yishun and Woodlands industrial estates.

SSC brings to its shoppers a good mix of F&B tenants, established retailers and a hypermarket, which appeals to the residents from the surrounding estates, uniformed personnel from nearby military camps, as well as workers from the neighbouring industrial parks. The mall also holds a strong cluster of enrichment and educational tenants that offers a wide variety of developmental classes for children and students. All these offerings strengthen SSC’s focus as a purposeful shopping destination for the entire family.

It is out of the way if you do not stay near Sembawang. It basically serves the residents nearby, but most will prefer Northpoint City instead as Northpoint City offers alot more food and other shopping options.

Unique business here will include boulder Planet, a pretty big bouldering place. Other than that, the rest of the shops can easily be found else where.

Nice simple mall. Quite old. Parking not sufficient most of the time. Toilets are gross. But it’s and old mall.. expected. Have a good range of shops for everyday items.

Nice kids playground on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately it’s temporary closed.

It provides shuttle services to Sembawang, Yishun and Woodlands residents plying from selected stops to the shopping mall itself. There are good eateries in the mall besides supermarkets, clinic, enrichment centres and other businesses. Usually crowded in the weekend, the weekdays crowd is milder. Surrounded by private residentials it looks quite quaint away from the maddening crowd you find at the bigger shopping malls elsewhere. You could get most stuff you need without going further.

Nice place. Some useful stores are Giant, Popular Bookstore, Daiso. All of food choices. Must try is Chick-A-Boo. For entertainment, don’t miss Teo Heng Karaoke. Shuttle bus from Yishun and Sembawang, for Woodlands, it’s only available on Fri, Sat, Sun and PH.

A decent size mall with quite a number of shops to look around and get your stuffs…Not as big and have shops selling branded items like Causeway Point BUT it’s CONVENIENT to get IMPORTANT NECESSITIES LIKE groceries from Giant Hypermarket, BK, Popular Bookstore etc…SINGAPOREANS COMMON FAVOURITE SHOPS ARE ALSO HERE – DAISO & MR DIY …

A small shopping center in Sembawang, sufficient for families with enrichment centers, restaurants, gym and hypermarket. this mall still attracts lots of people especially on the weekends.
    Nice place to shop.

Went just acia for lunch set with family. Lunch set comes with free flow ice cream and drinks. Lunch promo is from 11am to 2pm.

Quite affordable and worth it . It has more than 6 different ice cream flavour to choose from.

Nice shopping mall (consider small to medium size in Singapore)

Family oriented with many eateries, entertainment for children and about 50 percent of retail space)

3 levels with 1 basement, Travellators between levels (safer compare to escalators)

This is a good neighborhood mall that offers the usual personal and household needs. Giant supermarket here is quite big so it will certainly offer you whatever you might need for your grocery shopping.
Best of all, they have a shuttle to pick you up from or bring you back to key points in Yishun, Sembawang and Woodland areas.
