There is a vegetable market on the first floor. Fresh vegetables, meat and seafood are available at 7:00 in the morning. It is very convenient to buy a la carte vegetables on holidays and cook them yourself.

It’s a small complex with a coffee shop, Koufu, some convenience stores, a wet market (plus associated family items shops like a shop selling items for Chinese home prayers) and NTUC Fairprice on the second floor. The ATMs are located on the 2nd floor as well.

The market is small but sells most things you need (eg: does not sell grated coconut). Prices are similar to that of other markets although I have friends who feel that the fish is sold cheaper here.

There is parking available adjacent in the undercover carpark. It is possible to take the lift up and then enter the carpark to get to your car after your grocery shopping.

Although there isnt as many stalls as a typical wet market but you can find everything you need here. On the 1st floir there is the seafood selection right at the entrance, some Indian convinience goods stall, two pork stalls, two vegetable stalls, one fishball stall, one halal meat stall, one fruit stall, one chicken stall and one seamstress shop. And on top at the 2nd storey theres a NTUC, so you can have everything here in one go.

It is what every HDB district has in spread-out shops selling everything middle classes need. Except Sembawang Mart is in a multi-storey complex. Ground floor houses ordinary general stores selling everything a dweller would need. E V E R Y T H I N G INCLUDING an X-Ray and MRI outfit and a medical clinic.

On level 2 is a Fairprice 24/7 fully stocked outlet with groceries. This complements the level 1 fresh produce market with butchers and fish retailers.

It is crowded probably on Sundays and public holidays. Tired? Stop by at level one food court with local fare at medium prices. Also a long standing zhi-char restaurant with crabs and seafood.

I give this place 2 stars cos there’s nothing much to do here. But there is this little special place tucked in a corner of Lucky Wet Market that many would miss. It’s a small food stall (near the loading /unloading bay). GERAI OBEK, a Halal foodstall; takeaways only.
Nostalgic food…. I would describe them.
    Nasi Lemak
    Mee Soto
    Lontong
    Mee Siam
If you get the first serving, you’re lucky, (very freshly prepared).
If you get the last serving, luckier…. They might add in leftovers at no extra charge as they want to close for the day.
If you are nearby give their food a try. Start with the basic… Basic Nasi Lemak, no additional. That first mouthful, and you’ll know.
Only on Saturdays and Sundays :
    Nasi sambal goreng
    Nasi minyak
Bee hoon goreng or mee goreng
Come before 9:30 or the Q starts to get longer.

Noodles and lontong priced at $3
As for nasi lemak is just $2, without chicken wings or fish but u are allowed to add on : chicken wing $1.50 , 2 pcs ikan kuning $0.50 etc

They pack it when u place order, rice is still hot and ikan bilis is crispy

Sembawang Mart consists of a wet market, a supermarket, a food court, a stationery shop, a bakery, a salon, and a few convenience stores, and a number of enrichment centres. Usually I just come here for the supermarket, food court, and the bakery. Not bad for a residential neighborhood centre, though would prefer if they had more choices for the food court.

A normal small residential shopping place that have almost everything you need.
Best is the wet market & compliment with a NTUC, Food court, bread shop, convenient store, barber shop, DIY store etc. You do have to park at the HDB Multi-story car park coz the place do not have it’s own parking facilities.
Not near to any MRT too do it is less crowded. Probably a good safe place at this COVID period.

The only reason I was here there is childcare centre located at the 3rd floor. Been here almost every weekday since year 2013. Escalators is always out of order. Made complaint twice since then. First time was due to water leakage from roof years back. The latest breakdown being explained to me is that it needs an overhaul which took close to a year to be done due to supplier delivery issue… It had since started working again couple of months back, hope it will last for the next few years.

Place getting older and older. Escalators haven’t been working for atleast a year already, they Don’t bother to fix it. Place doesn’t have good quality stores also, all seem very old and messy. Market also usually low class.

    Only some basic stores
In particular, there are two kindergartens here
One is Chinese and one is Indian.

    只有一些基本的商店
    特别的是这里拥有两间幼儿园
    一间华人开的,一间印度人开的

Not much variety of shops, but the ntuc fairprice makes up for the lack of variety. There is a small wet market on level 1 too. Overall sufficient for basic needs.
