A China Chinese titbits experience where it’s unique in the packaging and taste. Chinese fresh fruits like peaches and grapes are fresh and value for money!

The price is reasonable, there are a lot of people, it is difficult to buy, there are only 2 cashiers, and it is very slow to pay the bill. It is said that it is newly opened, and you can apply for a membership card for free, but the cashier told that there are many people and does not give you a card, which is unreasonable.

At the end of the store, it was changed to a hardware store selling stationery and household items~
There are still a lot of people, this time there are all kinds of screw powder on the shelves
The types of biscuits and snacks are also blown by the wind, and all of them have been changed
The things sold are different from the last time I came here.

Although there are not many fresh products, the price is very good

    this shop
Feature 1: There are many cups of milk tea, milk tea in bags such as: white rabbit, deer, tiger, in short, you can shake it if you like it, and soak it if you like it. The packaging of the product is very attractive.. and the taste is not bad Poor, no more than $2, cheaper than the hand-shake drinks in the store outside, and the taste is also delicious

Feature 2: The front area of the store is air-conditioned, the middle area is at room temperature, and the back area is a greenhouse, the more you walk, the more you sweat

Feature 3: All kinds of snacks, but limited time and limited quantity
This batch of imports is sold out, and I will change to others next time
So take what you like, spicy strips are less than $1

    What can be improved~
There are not many types of noodles. Although the hot and sour noodles endorsed by Mr. Ba are very cheap, three bowls are $4, but it would be better if you can add some fusilli noodles, Shaanxi Liangpi, and others.

Every time I go, I just want to buy some seasonal vegetables and fruits. Relieve the gluttony_I miss the taste of my hometown. Now seasonal fruit: peaches. So sweet and juicy. I bought a box before and it was not enough to eat, so I will buy it again now that I have something to eat.

Located at level 2 of People’s Park Complex in the heart of Chinatown. Drop off at the Purple / Blue MRT line Chinatown.

With the successful trend of overseas Supermarkets like DonDonki opening in Singapore, we have Scarlett Supermarket aka 思家客 which translates to a guest on a foreign land feeling homesick. This flagship store seems to open 24 hours daily. They do have a membership system which you would need to scan a QR code and fill up a Google form. Membership approval will take about a week but for convenience, I have snapped a photo of the code for you to apply before heading down.

This supermarket is kept neat and clean which is more than what I can say about other supermarts. There are tons of products from China itself, from their wide variety of snacks to drinks, alcohol and fresh fruits too. Most products they have here are so much cheaper than anywhere else, even cheaper than other specialty stores. Definitely your go to supermarket brand to ease your Chinese food cravings.

It’s not expensive, but it’s very convenient to buy daily necessities. This time, I bought a can of coconut juice, which my daughter likes. It’s $1 each. The items handled are not as far as Yuhua Kokuka, which is also in Chinatown, but I think it can cover most of the daily necessities. You can get 3 sour cup noodles with rice vermicelli for $4. As expected, there was no treatment of expensive XO sauce (lol)

I was searching for China snacks for my Beer – not sweet stuffs but salt n msg, dry n pre-cook or like smoked “beef or mutton” i do not mention “ham” bcos to respect our Muslim viewers. Was search for it for many years .. n nobody knows “miserable” n by chance n determination, i search the whole of Chinatown n “bingo”

If you want products from mainland China or overseas Chinese (especially Malaysia and Thailand), you should come here first and you will find most of them. Patmi is a dull supermarket, but the selection inside is not bad. This supermarket… or rather, the mall itself, including this supermarket, is designed to be far from barrier-free, so it’s safer to stop pushing strollers. It is inconvenient because there are delicate stairs that can only be reached by elevator. Only people who come to buy should come.

Highly recommended is their 天下第一频果汁 cost $4.25 for 450ml glass bottle. Stocks run out fast. Do have a try and you will never regret. This supermarket products can be even more expensive than any of our 3 well known supermarkets as most of the products they carried are not found in our local supermarket. Lots of China products that many will be happy to find here. All the mala sauces, Chinese vinegar, nuts, biscuits, frozen food, noodles, beverages, toiletries, etc. One of the biggest variety of instant noodles available here. If only they replenish their stocks more often and speed up at the cashier it’ll be a 5 star for me.

It’s really cheap (at least I’ve been to the supermarket and it’s very cheap) There are also a lot of seasonings such as pickled peppers at SGD 0.40 per packet, Yangjiang Douchi at SGD 1.4, and Oriental Leaf at SGD 1.4. Whole mention kkk

Things are very cheap, very good, if there is more variety, it will be perfect

Nice range of products from China that is not found locally. If you order from Taobao and ship to Singapore, it works out about the same or more. So might as well buy here in store. My favourite will be the titbits and snacks. Besides, this Flagship store is open 24 hours so you can do some late night shopping.

Scarlett Supermarket carries a wide range of China products, almost 95% of it. This shows their target customers are the PRC in SG, pr or tourist. Some locals were seen browsing in the shops, looking for cheap buys, such as 4 boxes of 50 pcs disposable mask for $10. Some locals bought biscuits and preserved fruits(titbit), sauces and foodstuff for cooking. I guess that that it needless to visit other Scarlett branches.

.I just went there two weeks ago. It was Sunday, and there were a lot of customers at noon. The Missia supermarket, which is open for hours, is different. There are not so many customers in the one in Chinatown. Maybe the Pearl Plaza has a lot of shops, and there are many money transfer companies and travel agencies in the left and right of the Missia supermarket. , so its difference is here, because many people come to send money. And go to the travel agency to visit and shop at the Sijiake supermarket. This Sijiake supermarket. The area is very large, and all the goods from China are various. There are both, especially the ice-cold seafood yellow croaker from Fujian Province, China, and glutinous rice seeds from Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. The price is even cheaper than the local ones. Homesick. Chao also has a store in Tangchengfang B1, ok, google. Well, I took a photo of Homesick Supermarket when I was free, so I sent you an upvote. Goodbye.

    10/1/2023 updates

Bigger outlet compared to Chinatown point.

Some revamp of shelving spotted towards the back of the supermarket. Now selling stationary, Badminton racket, basketball, storage containers…Eg. Pens are priced attractively.

Wide range of beverage with reasonable priced bottle drink, groceries or snacks from famous brands such as Lays, Oishi, but stock of different types some are not sold in the regular supermarket chains.

Bubble tea brand #heytea bottle drink was spotted for sale.

Various modes of payment and Scarlett charges for each plastic bag, so do remember to bring your reusable grocery bag.

May require 5-10 mins of queuing on a weekday.

Payment via GrabPay, WeChat, Cash, credit card.

Worth a visit if you are in Chinatown.

SG souvenirs available at the smaller outlet at Chinatown Point.

Honestly it’s a little underwhelming for a flagship store. I was expecting better.

In general, this outlet boasts a much wider range of fresh produce that is not available at other Scarlett outlets. But, I doubt this is what Scarlett fans are after?

Visited the flagship store during the opening day, it’s packed with people. Long line to enter and long wait for the cashier counters too. Lot of varieties, price is reasonable compared to fairprice and other grocery stores. Lot of varieties from China. Found lots of good snacks.

Wonderland for snacks, interesting flavoured chips and more. This place is narrow but wheelchair accessible. The difficult part is to reach L2. Lifts at lobby do not serve L2. Use lift to L3, exit automated glass door and turn right. Switch to cargo lift to access L2. Swing glass door at L2 is very heavy, will require help to access. I was fortunate to have kind people open those doors for me, otherwise it would have been a wasted trip.

Always crowded regardless of timing. No safe distancing/crowd control in stores. Even the queue lines are messy.

The only good side is you can get food imported from China at a cheaper value.

I visited the flagship store few days back on monday evening. Not much people. Lot of varieties and prices are good as compared to buying same food online. I bought lots of bottle drink that less than $1 and some other snack. This place even have a lot more food especially frozen food than another outlet in chinatown
