I have visited Sarimbun Scout Camp twice, once during Primary Three for a one-day non-residential camp and once during Primary Five for a three-day residential camp.

The camping ground is generally okay. The toilets are pretty dirty and some of the flushes don’t work. The bunks are also generally dirty with lots of dust in corners, and beds are made out of wood. However, there are mosquito nets and a fan in every bunk to help you sleep comfortably.

The canteen and the campfire grounds are also generally pretty dirty, with lots of dust but they are also usable. As for the water provided there, I believe it is our standard tap water so it should be okay but if it is your first time there, your immune system may not be able to take it.

Sarimbun Scout Camp is in a remote location far away from human or vehicle traffic. It is an ideal place for folks who like outdoor adventures, camping and a breath of fresh air.

There is no direct bus to this camp site, you can take bus 975 from Bukit Panjang interchange and alight at the Bus Stop just before Lim Chu Kang Lane 5 junction.

After that you need to walk across the road, and you would see a large white sign-board showing an arrow “MOE Jln Bahtera , Outdoor Adventure Learning Centre, Sarimbun Camp , Camp Christine”

Just follow the direction indicated by the arrow on the sign-board and walk about 1.5 km (estimation) , into the camp site.

Came here for a school camp. All the facilitators are super duper funny, nice and entertaining. A lot of the activities were super fun. The milo pond had dead plants floating on the surface and quite a lot of dirt but I guess its fine since its mud. The food is awesome and its like a buffet. The drinks they serve are also fantastic. During meal times they would play a lot of nice songs and many of us would sing along and have a lot of fun. Love all the greenery there. We had to pitch our own tents to sleep in and it was so fun setting up the tent. Its comfortable to sleep at night because its quite cooling. In the morning, you don’t need to be scared that you cant wake up because the sounds from the animals will be your alarm at 6.30 in the morning! 😀 The campfire was a blast and I had so so so much fun! We were all cheering so loudly. I’m giving 4 stars only because the main toilets only have squatting toilets. Other than that, everything is so fantastic

Went here on a field trip for one night. The food is decent and activities is quite fun, but when it came to night, they provide a mat the size and width of a yoga mat, a fan that doesn’t reach the second floor of the bunk bed, and the facilitators scream at you if you talk after 9pm.

Providing an enriching variety of outdoor activities, Sarimbun may not be the most popular among those who rarely step out of their comfort zone. No signal, no hot water and no aircon. There are 4 classes of comfort in Sarimbun.
    1: Tent
2: air conditioned room with bunk beds and mattresses.
3: A-house, air conditioned, bunk bed but no mattress but big space
4: Chief Commissioner’s bunk, aircon, mattress, bed, aircon, private toilet with hot water and tv.

Came here on a school trip, great place for camping and really fun activities! The only problem, though is the fact that the “Milo pond” is actually mud and dirty water. When you splash into the water from the water slide, dirty water, sand, and twigs end up getting into your nose, ear, and worse, inside your mouth. The same experience was shared by my peers, which questions the cleaniness of the water, and if it has any germs or bacteria in it.

Apart from that, I really enjoyed Archery Tag and the Treasure Hunt. Overall I think this is a great place to come, but the “Milo pond” needs to change because dirty and muddy water is getting into your body which might make a person sick.

Literally like i know what y’all are thinking like oh this place is going to be horrendous. That’s what i thought at first too but like literally after the camp every single one of us missed it so much. Like the toilets were kinda bad and stuff but the experience was a solid 10/10 periodt. The facils were actually so nice and we could vibe with them like best friends. Also the food is lowkey kinda good too lol. Not even being sarcastic rn we all loved the camp it was so fun and so fulfilling and honestly after being at the camp site and so close to nature, it had been so long since i felt so at peace deep down in my heart. Like when ur standing in the middle of a bunch of trees and grass and u feel cool wind against ur skin with the sound of ruffling leaves, without your phone, without the sound of vehicles it’s actually the most amazing feeling ever im not even kidding. Literally i have attachment issues to the camp now. Trust me, it’s a super super worth it experience. Yall might not believe me rn but just wait till u go and meet the facils and do the activities afterwards yall will understand what i mean.slay

There is air con room but there is also dirty and smelly toilets and no proper road and walkway plus lots of seeds of plants stuck to our long pants and also fences have holes and this allow wild animals to enter the campsite

It’s very sad. The place is full of mosquitos that sting badly and the mosquito killing machine registers a mosquito kill one every 5 seconds (not kidding) and the place is right beside a cemetary.

Not bad place for sec. 1-2 camps. Quite a number of activities that most will quite enjoy. The instructors and camp chief were kind from “High Achievers Consultancy”, which is hired by my school, depends on which company your school hires. The toilets now have been improved, and maintained well. For my camp, it is in campsite B. I don’t really know well about campsite A, but I heard you have tent houses to sleep, as for campsite B, you either sleep in the classrooms if it is raining, or pitch tents in the designated field.
