Good for non vegetarians
Good enough for a snack.
Loved the service and the price of the food items in Sakunthala. I had a tea and two Vadai(Indian snack) for 3.40. I find that very decent price. The vadais were very good and the tea was nice as well. I liked the smiling staff and the service.
Great Sambar and south Indian delicacies
Reasonably good food
Good food. Love their fish curry. But briyani is just yellow rice no flavours of briyani. Don’t go for briyani. Order their curry platers or meals. They taste awesome
Slightly pricey but food is pretty good and service is great.
Immersed in Tamilnadu atmosphere with Big tummy Indian men eating enormous food

Delicious Indian food, we try out almost every alternative week. Recommended
Well preparation, superb taste in reasonable price
Nice Indian food
Waiting long time for takeaway foods but foods are not bad.
Coffee is great!!!
Poor Indian Food Representation in Foreign Land
I had the worse Indian tea (just hot water for $S 2.3) of my life here. It spoiled my mood. This hotel is destroying the Indian cuisine image for sake of making money in a foreign land. This is my first & last visit. I suggest you travel to India & spend some time to taste food from various key Indian cites at least before you cook and serve Indian food.
I love Mysore chicken and pepper chicken with Egg Dosai or Chappati…Delicious…bit expensive…nice location
Good tasty food for both veg and non veg.
You can get good south Indian food
I went here after lunchtime since it is the way to easily get empty seat. One of the very few halal Indian food around.
Nice Indian food plus halal.
Not so bad
Very expensive and only good thing is tea and coffee.
For food lovers
Good for mutton lovers
Very good food and specially coffee
Tasty good Indian fare
Wide variety and service is very good
Haven’t been here for a long time
Mysore Mutton briyani is must try here.
Good food
I took my overseas guests here for a meal on 24/12/2017, after a friend recommended this place. It was my first visit. My bill for Table 102 was $123.05. I paid using my UOB MasterCard. I regret I did not check the Master card transaction record till 5 days later. The restaurant charged $142.30 to my card instead of $123.05. I sent a message to the restaurant via their website. I am waiting for their response.
Update: The restaurant realised their mistake and they reimburse me for the difference.
Good but expensive
Very good Indian food. Love the non-vege meal there.
Very clean environment and good service plus good quality of authentic Indian food
All the dishes sold here has native Indian taste. I highly recommend this place for eating Indian food.
Love the mysore mutton
Very large portion of food is served. But tastier
Good place in Changi for a quick tea break with some snacks. The seating area is not enough and quite hot inside. The food taste is good and it’s totally south Indian style. I only had my morning B’fast and evening tea here so that’s my first impression about this place.
Ordered Prawn Biryani and I was served rice with Prawn curry instead. The egg Biryani was served with rice and egg curry too.
Butter chicken seemed more like Chicken tikka curry.
All disasters in the name of taste and authenticity.
I hope the restaurant hires a good chef, who understands the true recipe combining it with right flavors and taste.
Good food. Spicy
Quality food, Biryani is a must have item especially the Mutton.
You will love Filter coffee here.
I usually go for coffee/tea which i find better compared to other’s in the vicinity. $1 for a mini small cup. Not sure about food.
Really nice place to eat Indian food
Good
Very clean environment and good service plus good quality of authentic Indian food
Awesome food
Does not disappoint, good Indian food and we keep going back!
Best indian Foods
This place sells good quality murtabak for the price, although preparation can take 20-30 mins. Tea is quite good as well. Rest of dishes are pretty average for the price. Don’t dare to eat the biriyani.
Taste was ok. Doesn’t taste the same as in Sakinthalas in Little India
I visit here everyday for an Indian style tea/coffee. I like the taste. It really wakes me up from my sleepy time in office hours 😀
Nice place and actually bumped this place on a saturday noon. I believe the lockdown rules means no dining in, and by no means one misses that. It’s a small cafe kind of place serving the workers around that area.
We’ve tried Biryani, Pepper mutton and fish. The first two were a hit while the fish is a strict no no.
Nice snacks
Good food, friendly staff. Their prata and tea is awesome for tea time!
Ordered a mutton murtabak, chicken fried rice and pepper mutton Briyani to takeaway. The Murtabak has too many curry leaves, we got the chicken murtabak instead of mutton! Pepper mutton was spicy and fat-free. Chicken fried rice is a massive failure-it’s not spicy enough and has hardly any chicken! All the curries were too oily!
Visited on a weekend evening to have a short meeting over some snacks and coffee. Curd and sambar Vadai was good and they make a good combo with coffee/tea.
Nice south indian food in changi biz park
Not that great for vegetarian
Costly compare to others shops.
Good and reasonably priced
Good South Indian food.
Not so great traditional coffee.
It is good
Good Tamil Restauranr
Good tasty food
Ordered Prawn Biryani and I was served rice with Prawn curry instead. The egg Biryani was served with rice and egg curry too.
Butter chicken seemed more like Chicken tikka curry.
All disasters in the name of taste and authenticity.
I hope the restaurant hires a good chef, who understands the true recipe combining it with right flavors and taste.
A great place for 1 S$ coffee/tea. Has some good snacks. Friendly staff. Quite popular for it’s main course items. Always crowded and good location.
Nice food there …

The food is ok.

Nice food Crowded need to plan ahead.
Value for money Indian food
Good Indian Non-Veg Restaurant near Expo. Must Try items dosa, chicken Kothu parotta and Chole Batura!
Authentic Andra taste food. Can’t beat their taste and spice. 5 star for the authentic taste
ordered the vegetarian chapati set @ $8! The big bowl of curry on the right was so delicious! It was very hearty, with the vegetables adding a different texture to the soupy curry!! The taste of the curry was amazing and you can really taste the different spices that complement each other so well!! The green sauce tasted slightly herby, not my favourite but it was still very delicious w the chapati. The smaller orangey bowl of sauce was chickpeas in a gravy that tasted very similar to butter chicken! It was very tasty and i’m quite happy that it was served on the cold side as it helped to cool my mouth down from the piping hot curry! I’ve had chapati multiple times and the sides always outshine the chapati. I’ve had chapati that’s just kinda doughy and don’t taste like much, or just gummy…. but this chapati you could tell was prepared fresh! it was just stretchy enough and had some ‘wok hei’ to it hahaha! I would definitely come back here again! It’s cheaper than prata wala and definitely serving up better tasting dishes imo….. I left feeling satisfied! 🙂
Good indian food.
Too pricey
Offers a wide variety of Indian food with good service. Only problem is the limited space and seats. Not a comfortable environment to dine especially during lunch hours when they often attract big crowd there.
Regular lunch place, good parathas and biryani
First time eating a vegetable murtabak – tasty and full of beans and veggies! Great!
Small and vibrant South Indian and fusion fast food outlet. I have seen it from moderate to heavily crowded most od the times. Good value for money. Tasty food!

One of the best indian food restaurants in Singapore. Non veg.
This place is good for quick tea coffee snack . Does not have a very comfortable seating. Not very clean, but good for some quick Indian bytes. It can be very crowded between 4-6 pm.
Bit costlier and taste is good
Hydrabadi biryani….
Have enjoyed Vadai, Samosa, egg Bonda, masala tea in the afternoon. It is look fill up for the dinner.
It is covid19 phase 2 heightened alert and was empty in the restaurant.
Used to be packed with our Indian friends who enjoy their tea break around all tables. Now, contrasted, No passer-by to pack their dinner.
Best Indian restaurant around. Prices are okay but bit above average. Friendly and supportive staff.
If you’re looking for a tasty, clean Indian tastes this is the place. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Can be crowded in office days during lunch time.
Variety of choices available with various Indian cuisines. They even asked me if I want more rice. Love their wade with tea for a evening snack.

Good Indian style coffee and tea …
Loved the Chettinad Sukha Mutton with paratha and superb filter coffee . Great stop for Indian food.
Indian tea / coffee is great here
Sakuntala is for spicy Tamil style food lovers..
My fav is peppered mutton
Okay good
Used to be regular here as I live in Tampines
+ Food (esp. Pratas) is tasty
+ Staff are friendly
+ Service is quick
– This restaurant is expensive compared to other Indian food nearby (e.g., Ananda Bhavan & Anjappar)
– Some of the hot drinks (esp. masala tea, ginger tea) are among the worst tasting ones!
– Gets pretty busy on weekends
Great food in this basic but ever busy little restaurant! Service good too
Good food
Butter chicken 12 dollars approx
Nice biriyani
Very good Indian food, veg options too aplenty…. Quick service and reasonably priced… Ambience and hygiene slightly less
Try good one for non-veg
Very good customer service … One of the best place in CBP
It’s a good restraunt
This is a South Indian restaurant majorly, does offer North Indian cuisine too. I find this restaurant OK, can do a lot better
Note: the portion size is usually bigger than usual restaurants hence keep it in mind while making orders. We had to parcel the left over food.
Good non vegetarian Indian food
Good place for Indian food
