There is also pool and billiard as well as the obligatory Olympic-sized swimming pool. The Chinese Restaurant, Jubilee Garden, has garnered good reviews. The possible downside is the somewhat modest car park. All in all, good place with relevant activities for different age groups!

It’s always nice to visit SAFRA Toa Payoh whenever I’m looking for a comfortable place to relax, take it easy, get my coffee and toast breakfast and get Wifi connected to read the news, check email and social media updates. Covered parking is available and spaces are sufficient. I like to come in the morning because it’s quiet and the atmosphere is bright and cheerful. Parking is also easy at this time.

There’s eatery in the bowling centre called Beer Alley. Their western food is not bad. Comparable to Aston downstairs.

The location is centralised and getting there is a breeze. Having said the parking lots always fill up very quickly on weekends due to its attractive ammenities that cater to families and interest groups. Facilities ranging from karaoke playground for tots learning schools clubs several swimming pools billiard rooms beer alley and many eateries can be found under one roof.
Well it has a special spot for me. Watched my nephew win gold here in fencing. Used the gym here regularly. Cool pool. Statisfied with the place. The drive through macs is awesome especially on a rainy day.

This place serves as one of the most centralised locations as a place if you want to have a bbq by the pool. The pit is clean and there’s a sink for food preparation. There’s also a light located at the corner of the wall where you can turn it on so you can watch food cook in the dark. 5 ⭐ for this
The disadvantage is that the place is that it’s not well designed enough to withstand the wet weathers. And we were lucky to have tried the umbrellas to know what it’s like instead of experiencing cancellations.
It will be better if a pemenant shelter can be built over the pits. This can greatly improve the experience for users and greatly reduce complaints when they had to cancelled out on their bookings due to wet conditions.
Take note: there is zero refunds for all cancellations made. Each pit cost about $60-95 for 3 hours. This deters many people from wanting to book pits during the wet season. Which I feel the management can possibly avoid by improving the design of the bbq pits. -2 ⭐

Family friendly place. Lots of memories at the MacDonald, Manekineko…… And now that covid restriction is removed, saw so many food places opened. Wish this will last, so the people in the Central have a cool place to hang out at!
Was given a birthday voucher by AIA so I just visited one of the restaurants in their list .. ordered a few dishes but nothing fantastic!

The wedding dinner menu is good and taste wonderful too. Recommended for it’s great ball room design and deco.
The place is well maintained and clean.
With helpful staff. 3 of them avail themselves to assist us when were having some issues with the parking system.

Great place to go if you are a SAFRA member. Free swimming pool, food privileges at the restaurant here (free apple pie/sundae with every Extra Value Meal at McDonalds, for example).
I saw this interesting bin for SAF uniforms n stuffs disposal! N shared with my brothers and friends! So they know where to do proper disposal .
The club with the second newest refurbishment after Punggol. 1 star gone because swimming pool doesn’t have jacuzzi. And why can’t swimmers enjoy the underwater view of the carpark when there’s a window there, accompanied by an “out of bounds” sign?!
We brought our kids here to play at Kids Amaze while the adults could chill over some tea and coffee. At $10 for members for an unlimited time, it’s really a nice place to bring kids to.
My kid is 10 years old, and he still had fun with his friends even though he’s a little big for the obstacles to be a challenge now.

I’d visited Toa Payoh Safra yesterday to attend a CNY Dinner at Jubilee Garden Restaurant. The food was good. It was very lively as there were many other functions taking place simultaneously. However, there two main things that could be improved.
They are:
1. The Ballroom walls are too thin so the sounds from all the function rooms and the surroundings outside can be heard. So there’s too much clash of sounds. And it get loud and chaotic.
2. Cleanliness of the toilets. The toilets and wash basins can be maintained better. Because I believe all of us value good public cleanliness and hygiene.
Other than that, Toa Payoh Safra is a place I love to patronise because it holds alot of fond memories for me and my loved ones.

Very big gym but large crowds. All the equipment one needs. Ground floor free weights, benches etc. Second floor machines and cardio. Often have to wait during weekday evenings (have waited up to one hr before) and people tend to hog machines as well. Can’t complain for the price though (not much more exp than activesg, and far better stocked). Would recommend for safra members as they often have promotions eg $500 for 12 months. however personally prefer yishun safra as less crowd.
I discovered this place as I was looking to book squash courts and found this. Love the squash courts here. Additionally, the area outside was tranquil and also it had many seats for us to take breaks during, before and after squash.
Always great to be back at SAFRA, even during this Covid period. Activities have resumed and the restaurants are serving good food again …
What’s not to like when there are fast food restaurants, and many other activities to do here. Great for the whole family to come here and have fun. Superbowl, swimming pool, billiard and etc.

Karaoke, cafes, Chinese restaurants, drive-thru Macdonald’s and business function rooms are some of the key highlights. Very conveniently located too via Toa Payoh MRT and a couple of bus stops away.

Love this place, cooling, peaceful, broad wide sofa for me to relax while watching the programs shown on multi-screens and with free Wi-Fi I could watch my favourites dramas on my mobile too. Overall a good place to rest.
Place to send your kids. Got indoor playground, tuition centres etc. Besides those, there are also some eateries and shops and swimming pools. Otherwise, not much going for it. Quite near to Toa Payoh MRT though.

A great family oriented club. Open to the general public for their food joints that includes Macdonald’s/ Astons and other various eateries. Lots of kids enrichment centres and a big kids indoor playground (chargeable). Members enjoy discounts off listed prices for their shops.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities and amenities are considered as sufficient for the club members and non-members. The only downside is the parking lots need more. Currently and at times, one has to wait for an available car park lot for about 45mins or so.
The place is really central for meet ups with my friends and our children with its amenities. However the parking rates are pretty high. Quite disappointing for a place meant for everyone to connect.
Nice place filled with many different amenities but the one I frequent most would be the pool room. Other amenities include the gym, swimming pool and also the very popular Kids Amaze for the children. There are also restaurants here to fill your tummies after all the activities. If you’re coming here by public transport, it’s quite a long walk away from the MRT station so that’s a bummer.

Always a great place to bring my family for a weekend worth of activities. Love the bowling alley there and there are quite a few eateries available. Its a good place to relax and have breakfast with your family, and there’s also Wifi available for use. They could provide more parking though, as the lots get filled out pretty quickly

The swimming complex is one of the best. The people there are the best too. When I mentioned I forgot to bring my safra pass with me, they immediately helped me sort the issue out. And when I forgot to bring swimming hear, the lifeguards was kind enough to lend me one of his spares. Safra did a good job hiring lifeguards as they are super helpful. Thank you safra and the guy that lent me the swimming gear.

Nice and clean. Only issue is the smell for people with sensitive noses. Strong smell of perfume. Otherwise will rate 4 stars.
The lanes are usually full from 6plus pm to 10plus pm, so be prepared to queue or not even be allowed to play at all due to events. If you’re coming in groups of 2 or 3 before the peak period, do consider the hourly option.
Went to the bowling alley. In the evening parking can be a problem. There is McDonald’s, Ya Kun , Thai place and others for food options.
Home of the NSmen, great place to hang out at with the multitude of enrichment centres to send our kids to, while we chill over coffee and beers. Bowling alley is well maintained though the aircon is always too cold.
Good place for social activities. There are few good restaurants and I enjoyed the facilities like swimming pool.

Lots of eateries to choose from and for those who loved “exclusive” peace from the norm public; SAFRA Toa Payoh can be a good place to read a book. (Peak hrs in the late evening or weekends, you should know what kind of crowd you will be getting.)
this place has a lot of things such as an olympic sized pool but, a friend told me that a boy fell from the 2nd floor at the mega playground or whatever. lucky he survived with only a broken arm

Went to Safra swimming pool during the weekend. It was not crowded at night. Roughly 2 to 3 swimmers a lane. It has quite a few good food establishment like Macdonald, Ya Kun, Astons and Suki Suki thai hot pot … plus some more. Many people are heading to the gym as well. Remember to use SAFRA discount if there is any. One bad point is that it take a 10 to 15 min walk from Toa Payoh MRT.
Really neat gym facility complete with sauna and jacuzzi in a single price of $5.35 for Safra members and $8++ for non-members. However only 2 squat racks and one flat bench press, could use more of these equipment.
We regularly come to SAFRA Toa Payoh as we live in the neighbourhood. Good amenities with restaurants (McDonalds, Toastbox, Aston’s), infant care (NurtureStars), swimming pool, gym and event halls. Good place for families!
Went there once to play snooker with friends. Open till 6 am morning. Nice place to hangout.
The swimming pool is open to SAFRA members and their guests, but guests have to pay to enter ($1.70~$3.30). The pool can be quite crowded on a weekend morning as there are children swimming classes conducted there. The facilities were okay and the shower has basic body soap. There is one hair dryer available in the ladies room. Lockers are chargeable. Life guard available.
Staffs, equipment & premises are fine. But operating hours is such a drawback on weekend. Closing at 8pm & 7pm on sat & sun respectively, is awkward and it threw us end users off balance. Should have kept it at the same closing hours at 10.30pm so most of us can utilize the gym after our weekend chores with family.
In fact, the daily closing hours at 10.30pm is early for many of us late-working Singaporeans. Should have been 11pm.
Many climbing gyms and similar active outlets accomodate late operation arrangement too.

A cosy recreational place with clubhouse facilities for young folks and families. Accessibility is perhaps the only slight drawback – nearest MRT is about 10-15 minutes walk.

Place was very lively and there were some make shift stalls selling various stuff. The swimming pool looked really good and there are plenty of stuff to do. Worth a look definitely.

Visited the kids amaze. Kids had fun running around. Parents have a bit of down time hanging around the area. Food may be an issue if your kids does not like them, suggest to go after you guys have lunch.
Well managed. The operations personnel , two ladies, were exceptionally dedicated, enthusiastic and responsible to ensure users especially the kids, have a fun time and yet, SAFE.
Nice place for food. Eating places opened to public except like swimming pool for safra members.

If you are into powerlifting (SBD) Toa payoh safra has good selections of barbell and rubber weights. In fact, the best selection amongst active sg and safra gym i went to thus far.
Great place for family to hang out. Club is well equipped with swimming facilities, eateries and activities center.
Amazing place for recreational activity such as Swimming, Bowling or Billiards. Also has a few eating establishments. It is accessible and just a good place to chill in general or hang out with friends.
Nice place to chill. Macdonald with McCafé. There’s a swimming pool and Kidz Amaze playground for kiddos to have fun!

Favorite place to hang out in TPY. Hahah. Not a bad range of recreation and food. It’s quite chill at night as well, it usually isn’t overcrowded.
Lots of facilities. Only thing to take note of is the swimming pool. People can see u swimming as if u r in a fish tank, from the carpark due to the viewing gallery…
facilities and food are good. Toilets at the multi purpose hall are quite dirty but those inside the swimming pool area is clean and has hot water shower.
Decent safra with a Bowling alley and Swimming facilities. Big ball room for wedding and events. Big MacDonalds
Several restaurants, McDonald’s, Toastbox, etc for makan. There’s quite a nice pool (but I did not go there). Went to the Kids Amaze instead. Two separate play area, one for older kids and one for toddler. A fully padded huge area for them to walk about and climb around (except for some wooden flip boards at the sides you have to be slightly careful).
It’s a great place for friends, family, to catchup the old times.
Lots of delicious food, clean and well maintained bowling, great swimming and gym facilities. Overall it’s a great place to be for singles, couples and families too.
Came around 4pm.. Some of the stalls already closed. Had chicken rice.. And it was nothing to rave about. Not bad, but not good either. Chicken is a bit dry. Friend says prawn noodle taste pretty good, but the # of ingredients given for $6 (the smallest size) is pathetic.
Good place to visit for an afternoon swim. Macdonalds is alot more comfortable than Toast Box. Toast box not a suitable place for chit chat as there is quite some echoing effect.
Family friendly place. Lots of memories at the MacDonald, Manekineko…… And now that covid restriction is removed, saw so many food places opened. Wish this will last, so the people in the Central have a cool place to hang out at!
Place for Safra members and public. Some restaurants, Mcdonald, Ya Kun etc and enrichment classes for kids. Swimming classes for children available.
Variety of restaurants from western, halal thai sukiyaki , chinese Jubilee Restaurant, Yakun toast, Mac D and many mores. Many enrichment class like Berries, canvas Art, fin swimmimg school. Reallt worth if you are SAFRA member. However discount for Safra member and certain credit card is not applicable for PUblic holiday.

Need more choices for food and entertainment, is more of a club house for lessons, training now. Facilities are still decent enough.
Nice place to chill out and have all kind of activities to cater for everyone . There is also a fencing academy located at 4th floor.

Really like the place with all the options for the kids, for a quick bite and for Kids Amaze that is always a good option for rainy days and for kids’ parties. Being a member is rewarding finance-wise. I have not tried out all the options but I keep exploring.
It has the usual safra facilities like swimming pool and a few restaurants. Has bowling and normally there are a lot warehouse sales. Macdonalds here has a drive in lane but the queue is long
Brilliant facilities here. Badminton courts, squash courts, swimming pools, f and b. Also some tuition classes for the kids!! What more can you want!
Attended sg100 foundation dinner at.Tim Chinese restaurant . Food is good .

I came here to attend an event held at one of their function rooms at the 3rd floor. I explored this place and found it to be a nice place for fun and relaxation.
A nice cosy place with McDonald’s, Yakun, western food in the bowling centre and Chinese cuisine. Relatively quiet during weekdays but a real gem for the residents staying nearby. Highly recommended!
Good Gym, all equipment for a complete workout are there.

Lots of activities can be done here. I went to play bowling at Superbowl. There is also a eatery section. You get a discount on the activities and food if you have Safra membership.
Lots of appropriate facilities for families with young kids. Love the look of the Dance Studio and hope to try some classes here one day. Pool is good thou not full Olympic size. Bathroom can be yucky, similar to most of the other SAFRA clubs. Quality of finishings are lousy, even the newly renovated ones. Best of all the older life guards in this TP outlet acts more like bouncers, than life guards, when approaching visitors having problems at the gantry.
Nice club house with high ceiling and a big TV for guests to watch. There are a few restaurants. Macdonald and Toastbox are here as well. There is even a big indoor playground for kids. Overall a good place for family to visit.
Great experience at the bowling alley and the snooker room. Well renovated and ample parking space with reasonable hourly rate if you are a safra member

Visited SAFRA for the Halal steamboat buffet and was not disdapointed. The Tom Yam soup tasted authentic with wide selection of ingredients. Price is reasonable.
1st time here & suprised with all the facilities they had. Went there for Suki-Suki hotpot.

Badminton hall was great, the courts with little to no wind. They have a water cooler outside the courts and shower facilities (two cubicles with hot water).
There is an Olympic pool there, good for serious swimmers. The gym is quite crowded, most of the people training there are quite fit I would say. Quite a few food joints also….
Location’s quite accessible by public transport (walking distance from Tampines East MRT), its got tennis courts, a bowling alley, a swimming pool, and a pretty decent (but not amazing) gym. Food options aren’t great, and there isn’t an e-mart, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.
Good layout any any things to do here. Of course, it’s mainly a place for the NS units to gather. Baths have an open air jacuzzi!
It’s a good experience to play bowling here but they have more sports activities to enjoy here.

People don’t look friendly there. More like a child care centre. Having said that, the bubbly little tots are spontaneous and probably the saving grace of the establishment.

My favorite place for squash and swim. Lots of eateries catered for chit chat and family meals. Great place for kids to learn martial arts, academic enrichment, swim class. Adults evening there for billards drinks and karaoke.

Amazing that members to a club would still need to be made to pay for parking. Thus the sole reason I never paid to join this club inspite of the numerous promotions and incentives.

If you are a fan of Astons, there is a rather spacious outlet here that is family friendly (enough space for long tables and strollers)

A spectacular hub in the heart of the residential district. It offers a multitude of facilities, from swimming pools to bowling alleys to tuition centres to restaurants. SAFRA Toa Payoh is a great place for families to hang out, especially during the weekends!
This place has a McCafe
McDonald’s staffs were friendly. But the McCafe staffs were not much friendly .
I will Not recommend the McCafe as the everything is attractive but doesn’t taste good for what you pay.

The EnergyOne Gym is well built and fairly well equipped compared to similar gyms (e.g. anytime fitness). It has a spacious toilet and shower and also a fairly big steam room with Jacuzzi. The 2nd level has a nice view of the pool as well as some more machines. For the price of the membership it is asking, this is definitely a worthwhile place to check out.
A tip for those of you who are traveling by bus. Go to Boon Keng or Potong Pasir MRT and take buses that will drop you right in front of Safra. Buses from Toa payoh will stop opposite and it is quite a bit of a walk because there are no overhead bridges and jaywalking is dangerous as the road is fairly busy one.

Great place to relax and destress. It’s swimming pool also allow all sorts of swim attire like swim shirts for the shy people.
I always go here for my weekend swimming. The amenities are well maintained. There is plenty of parking space, and a small variety of eateries. A good place to go for a bite, go swimming, bowling, gym (additional gym membership required), karaoke etc. Of course it’s best if you’re a Safra member.

Tried the car wash in the car park, great value and service! Can chill with coffee in Safra while they take time to properly clean the car.

Kids love the pool with heater showers, as well as the Kidsamaze playground. Food choices are good too, Toastbox, Aston, Suki-ya etc.

Excellent venue for family outings to allow children to roam and enjoy the various activities without fear of losing them from sight. F&B has a good spread for meals, whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Restaurant is spacious and can cater to a big crowd. Whether it’s weekdays, weekends, or public holidays, it is ideal for all occasions.
Place was such a vibe and nicely built. The place was beautiful and there are so many food stores and even a bowling alley to enjoy at!

Came by for an afternoon swim. One third of the pool was closed off for lessons. There was also a crowd of people swimming. There was also no order for swimming, like keep to the right of the lane. This meant everyone was swimming into whatever open space possible. Messy and stressful, having to avoid oncoming swimmers. There are lockers provided here, which will cost you 2 20 cent coins. There’s also a water cooler. The toilet cubicles are big, giving you a platform to place your bag while your shower in the cubicle. There’s also soap provided in these cubicles.
Plenty of facilities here, not forgetting the Macdonalds and toast box! There is also a karoke place, as well as bowling and also pool tables! Wide variety of F&B outlets, such as hoeshigoka, astons, etc.

The key land mark for this safra, is the Imbedded fish tank swimming pool which can be viewed from the car park. Authentically funny and weird seeing so many trunks swim past you

Really difficult to get to. More than 10 mins walk from the toa payoh station and not many buses that drop near it. There’s a new Amore gym at the 2nd floor and the best attraction I feel is the basement Macdonald drive thru, but that’s about it for me. Other facilities are pretty standard expected of a Safra club.
As with all SAFRA clubhouses, the main privilege for members is the use of the swimming pool that is included in the membership; everything else such as the gym requires extra subscription fee or per use charge though members will get some discounts. Generally the clubhouses are open to everyone to patronise the facilities and F&B outlets. This branch has popular F&B outlets for McDonald’s, Ya Kun and Aston’s.
