SAF Yacht Club is located at the northern top and eastern end of Singapore. It is a place where many fishing enthusiasts gather. It is also a place where many Singapore boaters got their Boating licence.

Recently did my son’s birthday at the poolside lounge! Am very satisfied with the location and the flexibility in timing for our vendors to set up the decorations.

I would like to thank vivus for helping to arrange the Catering and to help arrange some stuff with the set up

    Highly recommend this place!

Probably the smallest of all the yatch club in Singapore. Not as accessible by public transport unless by taxi. Food is quite average and I would rated below hawkers standard.

    Overly priced Japanese restaurant.
Staff could do more in customer service which was very lacking.
The only positive point abt tis place is its view.

Oh my god, the walking journey to the place is about 15 minutes.

Only go when you really have an activity to do there.

Otherwise, it’s a nice place to simply drive or ride to explore some Ulu places in Singapore and pop by the seafood restaurant for a nice meal by the beach.

One of the recently upgraded Yacht Clubs located in the North.

This is one of the few yacht facilities that boast the sheltered, multi-storey type of vessel safekeepings.

Membership rates may vary depending the type of vessel kept in storage and the period of time one intends to keep.

Only setback here is the “ulu-ness” of the location which is accessible only via your own transport as the local busses doesn’t ply within.
Anyway, one whom owns a yacht prolly has his own car? Correct?

I like this place a lot! The reason is that can view the amazing view on the opposite of our Neighbouring country of Malaysia, Johor Bahru. I liked to see the calming ocean and the buildings and houses in Johor Bahru! We have went there for a level camp from our school and the facilities there were very good indeed! Clean, spacious and a lot more cooling from the sea breeze!️

SAF Yacht Club, one of the few Marina in Singapore for berthing your boat.
However even if you are not a boat owner, there are plenty of sea sport for you and your family; Power Boat training / Sailing courses / Get-Kids-Afloat (sailing for children)
There’s also a nice seafood restaurant with a sea front dinning, with chilled beer.
Free parking in front of the old Midshipmen School at Sembawang Naval Base.

Not conveniently accessible. Environment feels industrial and military. Place is run like an army camp (yes.. was reminded of club’s name ) with minimal emphasis on customer service. Sea water and beach is dirty. Redeeming qualities are its inexpensive and somewhat efficient.

Abit of a lunch/breakfast crowd, however, the scenery and ambience is nothing short of wonderful, just like the manager on duty’s customer service. I believe his name was Ravin. Attentive, engaging and prompt with his service despite having to fulfill his managerial duties. However I would like to add that the rest of the staff could learn a thing or two from him about being attentive and having situational awareness. My visit was short but sweet nonetheless.

It’s a really really far place, and I don’t see why anyone would need to come here, other than to sail their yachts or to see the evening sunset. That said, it’s a proper club with facilities and security. It’s also located right across from an army camp. Carpark facilities are mostly not sheltered, unless you’re a member of the club. Not exactly shouting a premium members club to me, but I guess I never had that expectation either way.

    Hard to get to.
Taxis don’t want to go there …. and pretend they don’t know how to get there even if you show them the way .. 50:50 was the experience I had. Buses from Sembawang do not go there directly either unless from Yishun.
Sailing in these waters was probably ok before the Causeway but now one needs to sail 3/4 way round Singapore to get out of the dead end and then one needs to pass Changi naval base.
The wind conditions are lax .
The club is being updated but with the management being non existent the club doesn’t go out of its way to help the members.

Quite far. As it was raining, we had to take private transport so we don’t need to walk in rain from the bus stop to the restaurant.

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. The place looks run down and tatty. It may be but is fully functional as a Yacht Club.

We ate lunch there and the service, time to serve and food was very good. Impressed. Nice outlook from the thatched restaurant area. Be a great place to watch the sun go down.

Children also had a camp and whilst it wasn’t your high class whizz bang flash camp it was excellent. The support and leadership team were focused and engaged, the activities were very varied and importantly the kids had a great time. Well done the SAFYC team!

A good storage area for my yacht as I can’t store it in my house due to lack of space. The ramp is quite near the storage, only takes about 10 minutes to get to the waters. Security is doing their job well ensuring the safety of the boats. After a day out in the waters, there are many restaurants available to top up the empty stomach. No problems to leave your vehicle as there are plenty of spaces to park the transport.

Good food; very pleasant surroundings even though our order took a long time to arrive. According to the manager, our order blew away….it was quite a windy day and we received complimentary ice cream as compensation. Will certainly return.

Facilities may be considered lacking by some but it is a serene enough place with a decent view of Senibong.. you know.. The famous seafood restaurants in Johor Bahru.

Overall good place to chill at with friendly staff and a Halal restaurany/eatery slated to open soon for Muslim members.

The evening was pleasant and enjoyable. The staff made a point to see to the guests who were there and also made sure there were enough food to go around. Ideally it was a good evening with the movie thrown as well. Thank you

Amazing spot for water sport. Clean toilet for shower and change your clothes. The only drawback is that it is deep inside sembawang. It may take 10-15 minutes before getting private hire vehicles

This is the first time I visited the place.
WOW!!! The sight of the sea, the yachts that is colourful, the beautiful location…..OMG, should just go for some memorable photo shoot. I went there as a guest for a wedding. The ballroom itself is huge and well maintained. However, I guess you have to members to enter. And the journey without a car may pose a little challenge.

Attended a wedding reception here. Our first time here so I felt the location is very ‘ulu” coz from the main road, you gotta drive all the way in. If you walk in, maybe a good 20 mins walk. View was great!

SAF Yacht Club is the place to go if your child wants to learn sailing. At the Admiralty area, the wind is almost non existent except for the occasional gusty wind. Good place for adults to learn canoeing also. The water here can be quite filthy because of the narrow seaway channel.
