Free ferry experience to Pulau Tekong, the north eastern island which is the last real jungle of Singapore? They don’t allow photos inside the facility though. The place has a huge collection of feel good, motivational army related posters. Last took the ferry in Jan or feb 2006. It’s a military training facility.

I haven’t been to this camp since I POPed on 11 March 2018 last year. But looking at the satellite imagery of Pulau Tekong resort (my one was school 3, Bravo company), those were the good old days man. Of course, unit life honestly is a much better experience than BMT life. OK, on the SAF ferry terminal, occasionally you may miss the ferry, so you have to wait about 10 minutes for the next ferry. Still acceptable, comparable to waiting for bus 975 at Sungei Gedong Camp. But the shuttle bus to and from Pasir Ris Bus Interchange, as my memory recalls, can be torturous. But no choice; that’s the protocol. But anyway, army is only rush to wait, wait to rush. So, enjoy while you are in NS. as for the ferry terminal itself, the facilities are okay; no broken chairs or whatever. From walking into the ferry terminal to actually boarding the ferry, it is self-service. The boarding berth is sometimes very airy. Best of all, when you book out, the walk from the ferry to the ferry terminal to board the bus really feels good. Yes, there’s a canteen, but no recruits or privates are allowed to patronise the canteen. But anyway, there’s a white sands shopping centre minutes away. OK, about the ferry terminal, it was awesome. 5 out of 5. There’s ventilation and all. If I remember correctly, it is better than the nearby civilian Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, and the Harbourfront ferry terminal at Harbourfront. Welcome to Tekong resort. You will love it. Enjoy it while it lasts. YOLO.

Paid $500 for this force-sponsored review. The Ferry terminal is clean and nice, you get to pretend you’re going to Batam or Bali until you reach the Tekong Resort.

The facilities are ok, no housekeeping so you do everything yourself and you get FKED if you don’t do it properly. Sometimes, you’ll cry yourself to sleep but its normal. Staff might sometimes walk into you crying yourself to sleep and scold you for not sleeping so there’s no privacy. Food eh, for the lowest lifeforms like you and me don’t get to choose so we suck thumb and eat the NTUC foodfare provided meals which is rice + meat 1 + meat 2 + vege + soup. Food is edible. The activities to do here are a ton woooo!! Enjoy your stay!!!!!
