Awesome experience at sabai! They mean business when you say you can take spicy food! Having said that all the items were superb and ingredients were as fresh as it can get. Truly one of the more authentic thai places in Singapore however bit pricey.

Excellent food! Great location! Personal service and attentive staff. Must try the Green chilli lime Tofu….if you dare! Will definitely blow your senses away, literally. Larb tofu was mouth watering, the flavours will leave you wanting more, no doubt! OHH…The best surprise…Hibiki 12 and Yamazaki 12 served. Those who know, they know (not bad for causal dining). Enough said. Go there!

Delicious food & a cozy ambience!!

We went to this place for dinner. We ordered rice crackers, soup, spring rolls, chicken & Mango sticky rice. Surprisingly, all dishes came in less time than we expected and the quantity & quality of each dish was really good. Dishes are so delicious that it just takes you to Thailand. My daughter loved the adjustable light on the table too Must Visit place

One of my more favourite Thai restuarant. Though focused on more biz and tourist, quality and variety is adequate with a good spread of desserts. Very comfy deco especially for those dining on 1st level. Upstairs can cater for larger group but becomes very noisy. So if you want a quieter space choose below. Evening you have a choice to sit outside which is also great as the sun is shielded by the buildings. Enjoy

Friendly and helpful host for a walk-in from the rain. The green curry duck was one of the best curry I have had in Asia and London England. Impressed by some fresh lychees in the curry. The white Dtom Yam was mild, as we asked for, and tasteful. Highly recommended if red marks on your shirt or blouse are to be avoided.

Good Thai food with great location that has both indoor & outdoor seating. The staff is attentive & helpful. Also vegetarian friendly with an extensive veg menu. Overall a bit pricey but good enough considering the location & service. The only downside is that the kitchen closes by 9.30 PM so not a place for late dinners.

And also the tables were extremely close, less than an arms length. Conversations were completely heard between tables with zero privacy. Thai food by Marina Bay. Ok food, excellent ambience. Would recommend going for dinner in the evening and sitting outdoor if it’s not too hot so you can enjoy the view of SG skyline by the water.

Food is standard. We particularly like the pomelo salad but the rest was just ok. Service was very slow though and a bit unfitting of its self-described “fine Thai cuisine.” Quite expensive for what we got (~$50/pax) but again guess you are paying for the atmosphere.

We love this place but be warned the prices are on the high side. They bothered to check on us for feedback after dinner, and before that check our preference before cooking the dished. All the dishes tasted great. The desert is good and it even tempted us to go back just to have finger food and desert one of those lazy afternoons.

    Recommended dishes:
    1) See-krong Moo Op Nahmpeung – fried pork ribs
    2) Satay Gai
    3) Gang Mussaman Neua, Gai – massaman curry
And 5 stars for their outstanding and sincere service and constant strive to improve.

The GM personally reached out and invited us back for a meal after an upsetting first visit by my mum. I was touched by his sincerity and conviction in the quality of their food.

We paid Sabai another visit 3 weeks later, and the GM made sure to take care of our table personally. It was a very pleasant dining experience, and the food proved to be delicious. The GM also explained their ingredients and how they procured them, and I was impressed by their efforts to deliver the freshest and best food to their customers.

Overall, the pork ribs was the best dish both this time and the last. It was fried to a perfect crisp while still remaining tender on the inside, and the marinade was delicious and done well. Same goes for the satay. The massaman curry was fragrant and goes well with rice. Like green curry, it’s slightly sweet and good for people who don’t have good spice tolerance. We got Thai milk tea and lemongrass tea for drinks, and they were yummy too.

My mum wished to personally write a review too, so including it here with translation below:
For the last time the drink cup broke, the restaurant CEO specially invited us to have another meal to express his apology. This time we ordered their curry chicken, tom yam soup, fried pork ribs, the CEO especially recommended their satay, every dish is very delicious, authentic Thai food The restaurant’s environment is also very good, it is a good choice A quiet place, especially suitable for family gatherings or entertaining friends from far away, it is also very suitable for lovers’ dates. When the lanterns first come on, the waiter will put an electronic candle on the table, which is romantic and warm. The CEO personally served us, sincerely apologized for the last accident, and enthusiastically introduced their signature dishes, which made us appreciate his sincerity. It was a delightful and memorable dinner, and we will definitely come back to support such a customer-first restaurant in the future. I recommend everyone to come and taste the food and service of this restaurant, you will definitely get unexpected surprises.

For the last incident involving the broken glass, the restaurant GM invited us specially back for another meal. This time, we ordered the massaman curry, tom yum soup, spare ribs, and the satay recommend by their GM. Every dish was yummy and authentic The restaurant environment is good too – a quiet place amidst the bustle of the city – and suitable for family gathering or entertaining friends. It’s also suitable for couples – each table had an electronic candlelight when it got dark and it was romantic. The GM took our orders personally and introduced their signature dishes. He also expressed deepfelt apologies for the accident from the last time, and we appreciated the sincerity. It was a lovely and memorable dining experience, and we would be back to support a restaurant that respects and takes care of their customers. I recommended all to some and try and food and service at this restaurant, I’m sure it will be a delight for you too.

The wait staff and the manager are professional and kind.
    They are very helpful.
We had the papaya salad, chicken satay, veg soup.
For the mains, we had the stir-fried tofu and pad thai (chicken & prawns)
For the drinks, we had sabai mojito and colorado.

The drinks were AMAZING and the food taste was superb.
The restaurant is not cheap but the service and ambience makes up for it.

Overpriced. Didn’t enjoy my food. 8 of us, none of us enjoyed it. I was recommended the Mao shan Wang durian dessert that cost $35, I couldn’t smell any durian when it was right in front of me. My friends who don’t eat durian told me “this durian is great, not smelly at all”. I wouldn’t come again.

You see, this establishment deserves a 6-star rating just based on their service alone. Even though the restaurant was busy when we arrived, the service crew truly cared to listen throughout our time there.

From arranging a surprise for my spouse’s birthday to altering the food preparation to fit our family’s palette (kids who can’t take spice, parents who love spice). Wait staff were able to think on their feet and suggest alterations to the food presentation and/ or cooking methods to accommodate all our requests.

Though we wished the Phad See Ew had more of the wok-hey-ooomph to it, all the other dishes that we ordered were perfectly executed- Thai Iced Tea, Cashew spiced chicken, Papaya Salad (DA BOMB! It was sooooo good! I could down another serving anytime).

The accompanying sauces that came with each dish were paired perfectly. They truly elevated the dish, I cannot even fathom. Mind blowing

I’ll definitely return to try the other dishes! Even though we were seated outdoors, never once did we feel neglected. Members of the service crew took turns to check on us, making sure we were taken care of. Definitely grateful for this!

For sure a place I’ll bring overseas guests when they visit Singapore! ️ thank u to everyone who hosted us today! What an experience u guys provided us khop Khun ka

Overpriced Thai food. The service used to be good but now they have new servers who are not up to scratch so it doesn’t even feel like a high end experience – one managed to pour wine onto the table for example. The food is good but not better than somewhere max half the price. Left $220 out of pocket for two and wished we’d gone to our local place for $70 instead.

    Not coming back any more.

Got food poisoning from the chicken green curry and veggie pad sii uu order. Threw up all night. i had mentioned eggplant allergy but I don’t know if it ended up in there anyway or what specifically caused it.

Update: after reading this review, the restaurant promptly contacted me and have been very considerate about the whole situation. Since my husband was fine after eating the food, it was likely an allergic reaction to the curry for me. While I appreciate the service a lot, I will be staying away from Thai food in general for a while!

Not sure how u define high end Thai food. But I can guarantee that u can find excellent Thai food at other places. This must be the most expensive Thai food I ever eaten in my life. As the restaurant name puts it, sabai fine Thai. But if u are feeling rich or if u are rich, go for it. The rent must be sky high here and we need to support the economy and spore’s GDP.

    2. Red snapper tom yum soup
    3. Crab meat omelette
    4. Mango sticky rice (must order)

I am just ok with Pat Thai Gung (thai stir-fried noodle).

It has been sometime since I had been served by one of the most attentive and proactive waitresses in Singapore. I don’t have to ask for my water to be top-up, couple of food debris that were fall off my plate due to my clumsiness were promptly clean up. Every little detail is well taken care of. You are paying for the service, the food, the location and experience (not the cheapest in town). will be back for dinner next time to enjoy slow meal+ champagne by the river. Thank you great serving team (2 Thai ladies and a manager). My husband and I enjoy our lazy weekend lunch. Plus, support local businesses during covid!!!

We ordered spring rolls, green curry with chicken, veg red curry and mango sticky rice for dessert. The spring rolls were really nice, the curries were both a bit heavy and sweet. The dessert was the best of all, really fresh and flavourful.
But the service was quiet a displeasure. We had reserved the table in advance, and the confirmation stated the table will be held for 15 minutes from the reservation time. We reached within that window. But the serving staff and the chef came off very cold and tried dismissing our reservation saying they hold only for 10 minutes. When I tried showing the confirmation, they brushed it off and the chef pointed her to offer us a very inconvenient table. The seat was a joint of two sofas. When I tried telling her my seat is really uncomfortable and requested if she can switch our tables to other empty tables she curtly declined as apparently they were all booked and offered to provide a cushion instead. One table was empty untill we left and the other was offered to a walk in much later. Definitely not going back again to be received and treated like this , while the bill was above 150$. There are plenty of Thai places with better service to avoid such unpleasant experience.

Come here if you have deep pockets, or if you are on a company account. That said, the food is delicious and clearly a step above your average Thai restaurant. It’s also got some nice views of the city, and it’s great to walk around after.

    What to order:
    1) Gai Hor Bai Toey – deep-fried chicken wrapped in pandan leaves (4 pieces)
    2) Yam Mamuang – spicy green mango salad with prawns, chicken, roasted coconut, grounded peanuts and sweet sauce
    3) Dtom Yam Gung, Pla – spicy and sour prawns or fish soup with lemongrass, galangal, chilli, kaffir lime leaves, fish sauce and fresh lime juice
    4) Pla Kao Sam Rod, Ratt Prik, Tawd Gratiem – deep-fried garoupa fillets with three flavoured sauce, spicy and sour sauce or garlic and peppercorns
    5) Pat Thai Gung “famous tasty thai fried noodle”. stir-fried noodles with prawns, chicken, yellow bean curd, eggs, grounded peanuts and sweet tamarind sauce

Delicious Thai food and lovely friendly service. Sabai Fine Thai is located close to the Fullerton Bay Hotel. Ask for their tables outside for a great view of the water and the Marina Bay Sands Towers. The food is excellent and well priced. The spice levels are authentic. The Mango sticky rice is amongst the best available in Singapore too.

Not your typical localise(in a way) thai food. Its very authentic thai food. The papaya salad, clear tom yum soup, black olive rice are my must order dishes… There are a very good vegetarian variety too . Remember to inform if need to avoid allium for vegetarian if your preferred to.

As Marina Bay is my favourite area in Singapore. Especially at evening time, I see a lot of locals and expats hanging out around here. The restaurant located near old Customs House building is a short walking distance from Financial Centre and Marina Bay Sands. You’ll get a good atmosphere enjoying your food and drinks. SABAI is a great choice if you wanna hang out with friends or relax after a long day work. My first impression is the decoration of the restaurant which has a Thai feeling into it. I had a chance to talk to the owner’s family members and found out that they have been doing Thai Food business in Singapore for over 30 years, so I was quite certain the food should be good.

Had high expectations with the restaurant but ended up feeling taken for a ride.
No trace of vegetables in Vegetable Fried Rice and even Tom Yam Soup had only mushrooms.
    Green curry was nice though.

Above experience is on the basis of Vegetarian cuisine.

Had much better Thai fare in other places in Singapore at much lower rates.

Overpriced, Didn’t enjoy the dinner. Do take note they open bottled sparkling or still water at least $10+ per bottle before asking each serving.

Food is standard for the price paid.
Just not bad the pomelo salad but the rest was just ok. Service was slow for a “fine Thai cuisine”
    Super expensive about (~$75/pax)
guess you are paying for the atmosphere – You may enjoy it if you are seated outdoor no aircon (Thai food by Marina Bay)

Ordered 2 dessert were pretty average & small portions for the Price u are paying Kao Niew Mamuang (mango sticky rice) at $23
Overall, confirm u can find better semi fine Thai food at other places

    items tried:
    – Pomelo Salad.
    – Sweet and Sour Squid.
    – Green Curry.
