A nice place for Thai food and great service. Not luxury 5 stars setting yet very comfortable and relax.
Nice ambience. Quiet with lots of greenery
Delicious Thai food with very friendly staffs, one of the Thai waitress can speak Chinese.
There are indoor and outdoor seats, some seats are set-up like in Chiang Mai!
recommended by friends and brought the family here for lunch. We had the Thai prawn cakes, pandan chicken, stuffed chicken wings,
Nice place, food very good
Very locally Thai. Ever the servers are Thai. Food is great. Not too crowded. Free parking.
This must be my favourite restaurant EVER. If you love Thailand you will love this place. In times where you can’t travel – this one makes you feel like you ARE in Thailand. The backyard is magical at night with Orchids and fairylights and there are so many little details to look at everywhere – authentic Thai! Then there’s the food – a dream!!! For us anyway! And – best of all – and very rare – owner’s husband Zac goes above and beyond to organise dishes (and drinks) that may not be on the menu. Their Miang Kham is beautiful and yummy! We will be back…and introduce friends and family (once they can come)!
Wonderful place with good food
Decent food but experience was spoiled when I found 2 strands of hair in my food from 2 separate dishes. Please put in place proper hygiene practice when cooking. Disappointed.
Very nice dining experience. Service staff are friendly. Many exparts diners too. Reservation is a must over the weekend.
Delicious authentic Thai food.
Very nice atmosphere
Ambience nice food so so. Had Tom yam soup, steam sea bass, fried kang kong. Service is friendly and prompt.
Food is quite authentic except that air condition area a bit small.
This place was mediocre
Food is not bad
Ambience ok
But my diners found the good a tad too sweet
First came here with my bro David
Thought the price was expensive but after we saw the huge portion for each dish and how wonderfully cooked they were, the price didn’t seem that expensive after all. Very good service and the chicken curry was especially nice. gives really cool thai vibes
Very pleasant and a truly little gem of Singapore with its jungle environment. The dishes we chose were fully flavoured of thai ingredients that didnt dissapoint us. Price wise over priced for location of singapore and would gain more clients on a regular basis for the business if they took this into account.
A beautiful location with authentic Thai food!
Was recommended by friends and brought the family here for lunch. We had the Thai prawn cakes, pandan chicken, stuffed chicken wings, beef noodles soup, Prad Thai, fried Rice. Generally good service and quality of food. I enjoyed the Thai beef noodle soup the most. For desserts the sticky rice with mango is better than the ice red rubies.
Quite an unique thai restaurant
Fantastic food with friendly staff. Food quality was great and fanstatic. Nice ambience too. However, it is located at a pretty secluded area.
Quiet cozy place for a drinks and dinner
The food is good. Do not rush the waitress and waiter. They are trying their best to serve. I think let of manpower and working in hot environments
Recommend by my friend. Went to the other side for cafe. Never know that there is another well-hidden for Thai food. It is so right inside the area, so conceal into the greenery.
Ordered more than 5 dishes including the desserts. The tom yum soup was so yummy. So was the fish cake.
Could be one of Best Thailand restaurant in SG..
Waiting time is tooooooo long. Waited 45mins for food to be served. Not only that, only served 2 out of 7 dishes after waiting 45mins. The other 5 took another 15-20mins lol. I will only go this place one-time.
Great food, rich and tasty… very impressive free flow lemongrass drink too.
Nice place and food.
I been to this place twice.
Highly recommend
Basil chicken
Prawn cake
And red ruby
Quiet place, nice food. Staff could be a little more attentive.
Genuine Taste.
Food is authentic. Tasty but I feel the price is too high for a casual place. Extremely slow service.
Cosy environment with good food and beers to go along. Value for money
Good food ! Authentic ! Good helpful staff ! Value pricing ! Will come again !
Nice ambiance with view over night lit driving range. The night we went they were severely understaffed. Had to run in both to place order as well to pay bill. Food was so-so. Prawn cakes were good, but Kuai Tiao was completely bland and lacking in flavor even after spreading lemon, peanuts and chili powder. Loud noises from the golf refilling machine put a final nail in the coffin, won’t be back unfortunately.
Really great experience here for my birthday!
Vinat is a great server and waiter!
Nice ambience and cosy restaurant next to champions public golf course. Food is quite authentic, although seems to be adapted to local singaporean taste buds. I would recommend trying the prawn cakes,
Thai coconut curry chicken and lemon grass drink for a start. Good for dining in with family and friends.
Coming from a Thai family, this is 50% authentic Thai food, adjusted to Sg taste buds. Props for the nice ambience and presentation though.
We visited this restaurant for lunch after a round of golf at the Champions. One of us is a Thai native and she commented that the food here is really authentic Thai. The only few places you can find real good Thai food, other than Golden Mile, is this place. We had Thai green curry, Thai basil pork, pineapple fried rice with prawns (even though this is not really Thai but it’s really delicious), and stuffed chicken wings. The outdoor seating is really rustic and pleasant, albeit a few smokers around us. Service can be improved as there is only one lady serving the entire area.
A pretty relaxing place. Away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Food is decent and portion is generous.
Real authentic Thai food with super friendly staff!
Location is a little hard to access but ambience is good. Food is good and value for money. No GST and Service charge. Will definitely visit again.
Food is reasonable and service is good. For better value, recommend to dine with at least 4 people as a little too pricey for 2 people.
Good and delicious cuisine . Price us reasonable .
Great food, great location, great service.
G
Having good ambience and food!
Very good ambience & food served is worth the value.
Nice ambience away from the madening crowd…
Restaurant along the golf course. The setting is beautiful. Quiet. Food is excellent for the money. Nicely served and apt for the name Royal Thai.
Food so so. But cheap.
Tuck inside the riding club, this restaurant served authentic Thai food with very nice Thai ambience. The food is good and the state were very friendly. The price is reasonable and when we visited for dinner, it’s not too crowded and we could find seats.
Nice food and the price is reasonable. Provided the parking is free.
Struggled to give it 2 stars…kwai lan moo, vegetable with pork. 2 tiny pieces of pork, dry and like cardboard, bit pricey for $18…but service was ok.
A bit of a drive in from the main road but accentuates the feeling of getting away from the hustle and bustle. The set up felt authentically Thai. Overall rustic feel. Food and service quality was spotty. Our Papaya salad came out as the last dish after a long wait.
Excellent authentic food, good service, nice ambience and not super expensive too.
Hidden gem deep in the Fairways drive overlooking the golf driving range. Mostly outdoor seating. Food was good, except the padthai with the rice noodles that were in clumps and looked like they were fried in a rush. The tom yam soup was good, very hot and spicy. The green curry was also good with a generous portion of chicken and love those mini egg plants. The Pandan leaf chicken came in plate of four pieces of chicken, also very generous serving. Recommend to give this place a try if you love Thai food and greenery.
Place is serene and private. Do note that you definitely need to have a car to come here though (its a long walk from any nearby bus stop or train station). They have quite a large space so you can choose to sit on the porch or inside with the A/C. Food is good (money bags sell out really fast though). Only thing I’d suggest for improvement is to make the “less spicy” option…. less spicy
Was there for the first time, loved the garden seat. The food they served was great. Good tomyum, spicy and sour steam fish, soft self crab salad. Always love the Kai lan with roasted pork. Have a great drinking session too. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoy the time there until I forgot to take pictures of the food there. But definitely will return.
Great ambiance and awesome thai food!! Free carpark and a nice quiet area.
Food is good and authentic Thai, but service is very bad. Unfriendly and unhelpful waitresses spoilt my dining experience. Second time that I had such bad service here. Probably won’t come back. Management should consider sending waitresses for customer service courses. There are many other Thai restaurants that also serve authentic and good Thai food, but many also give good service, unlike this restaurant.
A very quiet place, giving people a pleasant feeling away from the city. The taste is very authentic, even the menu is very Thai. It would be a very good choice for a few friends to meet to play golf and sit down for a light meal.
很幽静的一个地方,让人有远离城市的愉悦感受。口味很正宗,连menu都很泰国。几个朋友相约打打球,坐下来吃个简餐,会是非常好的选择。
Food quality is really good and taste is authentic. A lot of details in the presentation as well. Prices are tagged to the big portions so recommend to go in groups of at least 3 or more to get better value for money
Nice environment, friendly staff
Good food and lively environment
Interesting place that we had explored. Their staff is caring and polite.
We ordered a clear Tom Yam soup. Upon serving the soup, the staff told us that if it is too spicy, they can change for us again….this is truly “wow” and 1st time experience with this restaurant.
Their setup for “Hut” dining is also quite unique. Will come back to try again.
Nice place
Yummy …
A hidden gem in a deep concrete “jungle”. Very authentic Thai food. Prawn paste cake is really value for $!
Tom yam was very good. The guy who served went out of his way to make us comfortable. Serving size is huge. Easy parking.
Real authentic thai taste.
Love the food here and the quiet location. Truly a hidden gem.
Third time i was there, reason is simple – good food, nice quiet place, no fuss parking , reasonable price. Well, this is the third time too that I felt frustrated with service staffs because they stood behind counter to chit chat loudly instead of paying attention to customers, we were sitting at the large patio, we literally had to shout for service ( they couldn’t hear too ), my husband had to walk to the counter numerous time to place extra order, to get extra plates, to order dessert or ask for a bill. Come on! You can do better than that ! Remove the big beverage fridges from the bar so we can wave to you or you can see us! Or at least put a service bell on each table if you adopt the laidback service. I give these 4 star to chef only
Nice Thai Restaurant To Visit…
Food was delicious…
It was a rainy night so couldn’t enjoy the Outdoorsy Hill Top Seatings…
Overall Was a good Well Spent experience..
Good but bad service
The setting is quite unique. There are tables in the garden area in a slope. (Behind the main “house”). Reminds me of those (beer) garden restaurants in Thailand, set in a garden and dim lights. Quite an atmosphere. The food is ok, not great and not bad. I believe it is a one of a kind in Singapore. If you like to sit in Air-Con, there are only four indoor tables.
Authentic!!!!and great service.
Food is good and nice portion. Price is reasonable. My kind of place for nice dinner with family. Quiet and nice
Very authentic Thai restaurant. Even after so many years taste remains consistent. We are customers for many years and we still visit the restaurant regularly.
There are many seats. Spicy but delicious.
Desserts were also delicious.
席は沢山あります。辛いけど美味しい。
デザートも美味しかったです。
Interesting place that we had explored. Their staff is caring and polite.
We ordered a clear Tom Yam soup. Upon serving the soup, the staff told us that if it is too spicy, they can change for us again….this is truly “wow” and 1st time experience with this restaurant.
Their setup for “Hut” dining is also quite unique. Will come back to try again.
it’s really not bad at all, just hope they improve on the service standards.
We visited this restaurant for lunch after a round of golf at the Champions. One of us is a Thai native and she commented that the food here is really authentic Thai. The only few places you can find real good Thai food, other than Golden Mile, is this place. Good place to rest after morning walk
Been here a few times. Usually food is OK. But yesterday the food quality is disappointing. Ordered asparagus with prawns. The asparagus was undercooked. Difficult to chew through the fibres. Ask the server to change it, instead she took back the dish to recook it… so unprofessional.
Nice and cosy place for gathering..
Nice food at a nice location. Good view for Golf range.
Food is very good and a nice place
Great tasting food, only marred by subpar service. Understaffed on top of that. Management needs to do better.
Quiet place. Authentic food.
Authentic Thai food. Yummy Tom yum and pineapple fried rice.
Their signature dishes is nice.
Service was great, food was delicious, ambience was cosy.. only challenge is the location, a little remote up at Grandstand.
Food is decent … when it was served.
Grossly under staffed …. 2 waiters serving more than 10 tables spread in air con and non aircon areas.
If you want to come, don’t be in a rush. It takes a while for anything to arrive.
The restaurant has a very Thai style design and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. They have little gardens and would recommend the seating at the back of the restaurant which makes you feel much closer to nature. However, since it is outdoor, mosquitoes are expected. Food are delicious and draft beer is relatively cheap here at S$48 a tower. However, price for the food is on the high side. The surrounding of the restaurant is close to nature and one of a kind, the down side would be the location. To reach this place, you would have to self-drive or take a taxi/Uber/Grab.
Good food good price good service.
Great ambience & most of the dishes were delicious! One of our orders was wrong but end up it tasted good lol so its okay Its inconvenient if you are not travelling by car tho.. …
Got takeout from here – they were super fast and really nice. While they are famous for the boat noodles, getting noodles in soup for takeout is not ideal so I got pad Thai and baby kailan. The pad Thai was passable, and I liked the veggies. I’ll probably go back to try the boat noodles since it’s a pretty affordable option. The best thing about this new mall right now is the free parking!
Great Food. Price on the high side. Serving portion is small…not ideal for big crowd. Waiter is slow in taking order.
Great food.
Power tomyum soup
The location was Serene & private. Food was beautiful plated, and food was considerably better than your average Thai restaurant. Service was also commendable.
Downside: Indoor air-conditioning was almost non-existent.
Price was reasonable with the portion served (Cost me about $80 for 2 pax)
Food is reasonably good. Nice place. But could not have a chance to look at the pony.
Nice dishes but a bit pricey imo. A bit out of the way though…
Good thai food, that is not too expensive
good enviroment & drink
Didn’t manage to take many photos but this place is SO GOOD. went to the fairways branch at Bukit Timah beside the golf course and have vibes like Thailand!
Had the steamed seabass which was really good, papaya salad, omelette, stir fried asparagus and Tom Kha Gai (really good)
MUST TRY!
We had a white wine too and the total was only around $170 for five of us which was honestly a very worth meal
This fish is delicious!
이거 생선 꿀맛!
Lovely ambience, food and excellent service by staff even though they were short of hands
Quaint place next to Champions Golf Club, lots of space, cute decor. smoking area and extensive menu.
Recommend by my friend. Went to the other side for cafe. Never know that there is another well-hidden for Thai food. It is so right inside the area, so conceal into the greenery.
Ordered more than 5 dishes including the desserts. The tom yum soup was so yummy. So was the fish cake.
A casual Thai restaurant which serves really good food at times, but suffers from inconsistent cooking. Both al fresco and indoor dining are available. Hard to get to if you don’t drive. Service is spotty.
Great food and great ambience
Ulu location but nice and cosy. However, maybe it was relatively quiet, staffs were not very attentive to needs.
Nice food and price is reasonable
Good Thai Food just beside the Singapore Golf club and horse saddle. Food quality was very nice and portion size is more than expected for the price charged. Moreover there is no service charge nor GST charged separately on the food. Have a look at the portion size in my photos and hit a Like if my review helped you..
Wonderful place, lush green, top notch Thai food, Bavarian wheat beer (Benediktiner), good service
Very nice Tom yum gong
Authentic Thai food with good quality
Decent food but slightly pricey given the location. Portions are rather large though, more for sharing.
Green curry chicken was great; not a bad dish.
Great food, beer, chill out place.
Awesome..authentic .thai food …nice restaurant tucked away in a serene environment…lush greenery, beautiful settings….highly recommended…
Food was good service was awful. Not busy, but still slow. Not worth the wait.
Excellent food!!! Cosy environment!!! I really appreciate the beautiful garnishes that accompanied each dish. Every plate looked like a piece of delish art.
Our favorite Thai food place. Pandan chicken, mango salad, and clear tom yam soup are our must haves.
Kinda out of the way so you either need to drive or cab/grab in. But the ulu location is also part of the charm because what you get is a super quiet and chill atmosphere with greenery (mostly from the surrounding golf course) all around. Food is moderately priced but well worth it considering the generous portions and sheer deliciousness. The menu here is actually quite a bit more extensive than the KAP branch. And there is tons more seating area, though mostly al fresco.
Food is good and affordable , service and place is thumbs up
Great Serving if Authentic Thai Food. Mango Salad is good.
Nice food in a great setting
Nice food and friendly staffs. Good ambience.
A very rustic place tucked away off eng neo. Love the food. The taste is authentic n delicious. The whole fried fish was crispy n tasty. The beef curry n green curry were good. The desserts are very good. Only thing is the wine sekection not great BUT they hv draught Singha.
Decent beer st a fair price
Authentic Thai food in a new and rustic setting. Opt to sit at the back of the weather is favourable, for the best feel. Love it!
Nice food and big portions! If not hot should sit outside as it is near to driving range. Will be back again. Need to get here by car though.
Love the environment, come with indoor and outdoor, pets friendly
Food is good, it would be better if the staffs are more attentive!
Cosy and good food.
Nice authentic Thai food
Beautiful place to chill , food is nice and the beer is cold
Really good Tom Yum and Pork Knuckles. Good service and relaxed vibe. Will come again. Was here last week too. Haha.
Ambience and food quality are not bad but dining experience marred by super slow and poor service, and grossly overpriced food. Business was not busy at all on a raining week day night. There were only 3 tables in the restaurant. We were the first to place our order. Yet we had to wait for 30 mins before the first dish was served. Waitress’ face was really ‘black’ as if she was in forced labour. Price wise, it is at least twice as expensive as comparable Thai restaurants. For e.g. a steamed sea bass is $49 while others typically charge $25-30. A bowl of tom yam soup cost $20 and Phad Thai $19.
Great Phad Thai and with singa beers on tap.
Recommended for a rustic outdoors venue, post or prior to a 9 at Champions…
