Honestly average fare along with poor service. It’s a nice rustic place to be at but be warned about the kind of service you will be receiving here.

Even for dine in it’s fully disposable utensils, so do watch out as the plastic spoon might cut your lips

The quality varies from day to day but generally is good, besides the occasional stale snacks. Staff can seem a bit pushy during the peak hours but is kinda expected so I advise visiting during the less busy hours. Just make sure u know what u want to order esp during busy times

Been a long time supporter of this chain but several episodes have compelled me to write this as a foreshadow for all who visits this particular outlet.

Come for the soya drinks and food but expect a horrible time with the rude service.

The safest bet here is still the beancurd and I love the thin and crispy Portuguese egg tart. What I didn’t like and regretted ordering was the red bean hum chim peng. Was thick and dry, the red bean was also not sweet and dry. I also loved the additional red bean topping on the beancurd.

Rochor Traditional Beancurb is a place I would stop by to get a soya bean drink while I cycle. It costs $1.70 for a cup which is not very cheap but it’s nice.

It offers indoor and outdoor seats. The outdoor seats are more windy.

You can take a bus down and walk here as it’s very near to the bus stop. Unfortunately it’s not near any mrt station.

If you are driving, it is not as convenient as there no nearby carpark.

If you are cycling, you can just park your bike directly in front of the store and take the stairs up.

Small and very, very busy place with a good selection of desserts and douhuashui [warm or cold]. Always great to find a great place near the hotel. Many people complain. But business just as good..

Their opening hours depends on what time they feel like opening..

Try not to sit inside the shop..
    The ventilation is quite bad…
You will smell like a you tiao.. your self.

    Their desserts are so so….
Their fried chicken..I had it at few times.. just chao tah.

Soya bean drink… Just normal same as any other soya bean shop…
But lose to shops like whampoa bead curd…Who makes their drink on the spot…

This outlet use their kitchen to fry stuff instead…
So cannot say they are a soya bean shop…
    More of a dessert shop

Grass jelly dessert definitely not their forte, they should drop that and focus on bettering their tau huay. The pastries we ordered, you tiao and red bean pancake, were a lot better.

Came for beancurd dessert. Left with egg tart, yao tiao and red bean topping on the dessert.

I’m disappointed to say the fritter was just standard. Egg tart was OK and the bean curd tasted processed the red bean topping did somewhat make up for it. I did get very good service though and didn’t encounter the rude China lady everyone who was complaining about.

I’m sad to say Mr Bean does better bean curd desserts.

Smooth and soft beancurd. I must say I’m pleasantly surprised. Although not as good as Funny Mountain (Ipoh, Malaysia), but it’s the best I’ve tasted in Sg so far. The consistency is denser compared to FM, but overall texture is soft and silky.

I freaking fell in love with their crispy beancurd fries. It’s super crispy, delicious, savoury and they added spice to make it spicy. Their daohuey with peanut balls are also really nice but on the pricier side at 3.10. The daohuey with honey pearls are good and very sweet too.

I don’t usually care poor attitude of a small stall like this, but the attitude of employees in this stall is absolute worst I’ve ever experienced in Singapore. I visited here three times but was always greeted with the rudest attitude one can imagine, giving me an impression that they don’t want any customers to come in the first place.

Wow. Smooth and soft with just the right amount of sweetness. It’s such an incredible texture you won’t feel guilty consuming all that syrup , yummy goodness for $2!
