I was worried that there was no computer shop willing to fix my issue since my laptop quite literally broke into three pieces (pics below). But Rizvi at RM Computer Services managed to put it back together! And super fast too! I was expecting it to be a week or so but it only took a few days. I brought my 4 years old laptop to him, and can be fixed by the next day (I gave him 7pm and he need to source the graphic card first the next morning). Excellent services. He also help to fixed my hinge for free. On top of that, the price quoted is reasonably priced.
Don’t waste your time looking around finding quotation. This shop is the shop to go in the east.
Mr Hisham, a college trained electronic engr is someone who will give you a pleasant surprise if you were to consult him for your HP repairs. His quiet demeanour and humble appearance belied a wealth of electronic knowledge & experience which he has, and with that he can resolve any problem or fault in ur HP or even laptop with confidence and competency . Not surprising if you know he is theoretically knowledgeable and has worked in many countries before for 12 years. In my neighbourhood, this firm is the best for computer recoveries and common problem.
I brought down my laptop for a diagnosis as it was unable to boot. I had previously done some basic troubleshooting and informed them of my observations; such as my SSD itself not being the issue as I was able to retrieve files when connected to SATA cable to PC and the OS not being an issue as again, it was able to boot up on PC. Despite that they ‘wasted’ time on booting the OS and convincing me to change my hard drive by trying to swap out with different SSDs or HDDs. It’s not my fault they ‘wasted’ 3 to 4hrs on my laptop diagnosis when I’ve very clearly specified what are NOT the issues. The issue they found: my SATA’s connection to the motherboard is spoilt and recommended to use a m.2 PCIe SSD as a ‘repair’. This is by no means a repair, just a temporary solution. They were also selling me the SSD for 2-3x the retail and when I said no because I saw no value, they insisted on a ‘package’ deal and tried to convince me to pay $100 for a used NVME 128GD SSD. Rip-off. When I refused they were berating and tried to charge me $30 for what’s apparently a ‘free’ diagnosis. I’ll admit, they’re incredible efficient but the blatant disregard and respect is appalling. If they had been upfront about the conditions of the ‘free diagnosis’ I might have went to other places instead.
EDIT: I already told you it’s not the HDD or the OS, you tested it because you have doubts, that’s fair but it’s not on me. Your suggestion isn’t a repair and you were selling a USED SSD for $100. I can buy a BN NVME 128GB for $39. That’s not a good deal for a ‘student’ and ‘because it’s fasting month’. It’s shoddy sales tactic.

It was great to find a place where they could fix my MacBook after Apple suggested there was nothing to do but buy a new computer. They have great customer service and accurate information on the status of your repair.
The only thing was that the keyboard was left seemingly un cleaned. There are a few letters that are not working properly when typing.
Overall, I’m very thankful.
They are highly efficient and very professional. A portion of my laptop screen was turning black and I contacted many shops and always received the same response that they must see the laptop first and I must wait for the spare screen to arrive before they can fix it. Some computer shops even give a mind boggling response that the whole process can take up to 2 weeks ????!!!!!!!

Hi! I’m a MacBook Pro 2017 user here.
Experienced problems to my MacBook Pro in lieu of downloading the macOS Big Sur a couple of days ago. Was really panicking given that my school will commence next week and I was really in need of getting the laptop working again. Was recommended by my uncle to visit this shop at Kembangan to have a go. Prior to this, I went to an Apple Authorized Retailer to help resolve this matter but the charges was too costly for me.
Sent in my laptop to Mr Rizvi on Thursday and told him the problems that I was experiencing like how I did at the Apple Store the other day. Rather, he gave the assurance that it can be fixed and told me not to worry. A few hours after sending in my laptop, I received a message that it a motherboard problem. Was told that the prospective collection would be in 3-5 days’ time. Fortunately, the date got carried forward to Saturday (09/01) that I can come down to collect the laptop.
Came down to collect and test the laptop to its working condition. Mr Rizvi also gave good advice on battery management and showed me an example of the insides of the motherboard of another Macbook as an example. It was also made known to me that the motherboard had overheated and thus impeded the downloading process of the new OS
Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who has laptop issues. Just make sure to manage your battery well, Shut Down instead of Sleep if laptop is not in use.

Excellent and Honest staff and highly recommend. One weeks ago, one of the components on my macbook pro got burnt inside and smoke was coming out through the key board., I found RM based on rating.
Upon giving my mac to RM COMPUTER SERVICES, he check the laptop and inform me the part that got burnt. My battery also got fired because of this. he ask me 3 days to fix mother board and I agree for that He change that.. He replaced all the damaged parts he had and it has been working very well after I do repair with them…

I needed a new touch-screen and hinge replacement on my laptop. The technicians at Computer Repair Doctor were always in communication with me about the status of the repair. Even though the parts ordered did not initially fit my laptop, they ordered another set of parts. Even though it took 6 weeks to repair my computer, I did not need to pay extra for parts or labor. Great service and constant communication from them!
Fantastic service. Been working from home due to Covid and using my personal laptop. It stopped charging and I was all ready to buy a new laptop cos i needed one for work the next day. Took it into the shop to try my luck in fixing it. The boss had a diagnosis for me within 2 hours and was able to replace the motherboard which had short circuited in another hour despite the many laptops that he had waiting for repairs. At a reasonable price too. Highly recommended!

Mr Mohd is a computer repair gem I chanced upon in Kembangan. He has been in the line for a good 9 years. Despite coming for almost a week, my laptop’s audio problem still wasn’t solved after 3 attempts on their part. Very frustrating.
However, service was good, staff very responsive to messages. Furthermore, they never increased the price of repairs even though their attempts grew more expensive each time, and they gave me a full refund. So, 2 stars instead of 1.

Professional, prompt, direct, and transparent with his repair services. He’s not a man of many words, but he gets the job done.
Came in with an unresponsive laptop and he quoted me a price range and how long it would take to diagnose and fix the problem. It was an issue with the motherboard and the power chip got overloaded. Communicated with me later on over Whatsapp and I got my laptop back after he verified everything is working on his end. The repair also came with a 1 month warranty.

5++ stars! = Great fast and solid service from Mohamed and his colleague in RM Computer Services! My Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon 6th generation had a Fan crash, and i could not open the laptop. I contacted LENOVO, went to their service center in Singapore, and they need 7 days just to check the problem… I went online and found 4 repair shops, and Mohamed picked up my call early Saturday morning, i went to his shop, with the broken laptop / fan. It will take 7-10 days to get new one to Singapore, but he fixed the old one so it works for probably a year or so. Fantastic service! I also brought along an old laptop to have it cleaned / ready as back-up laptop. He replaced the 7 years old harddisc to a new SSD hard-disc, and the old laptop is now fast and as new again. VERY VERY smooth service!. 5++ stars! They make “old” laptops new again, and they can likely fix any problem you have with computer hard or software!

My iMac wouldn’t power on. Didn’t need the mac as much as I needed the data.
When I gave it for repairs I was told motherboard needs fixing.
It’s when I went to collect that I was told that hdd has been swapped since it didn’t work. And it will cost me extra 100. was given a discount bcos I wasn’t informed before the swap. And Rizvi called personally to explain.
I sent in my Laptop for repair, Mr Rizvi recommended for change of hard disk and I was able to collect my Laptop on the same day evening.

sent in my surface pro 4 to fix and replace a fried SSD with great success.. surface pros are very sensitive as the access to all the parts are from the screen which is fragile af.. these guys called to ask if i wanted to go ahead with the repairs, i went ahead knowing the risk and it paid off.. saved a few hundred bucks compared to if i sent it to microsoft (they won’t even bother to fix and just make u pay for a refurbished set) Thank you guys for the help! recommended!

I went rm computer services many time all the time there service is very professional and on time the parts are original. today i give my old hp laptop no display after mr mohamed diagnosis and told me just change battery and its cost $70 and 3 month warranty i agreed on the spot because i check outside quite expensive and no warranty…. so this place highly recommended and friendly boss thanks again
Used their service on 2 occasions, and both experiences were fantastic.
1) First time, i look for them to fix my laptop that refuses to boot. They were able to identify the issue quickly and fixed the issue later that same night!
2) Second time, i asked if they were able to help me recover the data in my portable HDD, after a reputable data recovery company was unable to recover after a year of attempts. RM Computer contacted me after 2 months, and surprised me by recovering almost all the data in the HDD!

Change LCD screen for $240, able to collect in 4 hours! The shop is located about 200m northeast of Kembangan mrt, so quite easy to find. The owner Mr Rizvi is knowledgeable and passionate in his trade. He is connected to some spare parts network which means the repair can be done quite efficiently! No wonder he gets so many happy customers, including me! Originally from Sri Lanka, he seems to be the sole breadwinner of his family, so do support him!
