Awesome brings back old memories..smell still d same…
When I used to stay in Queenstown many years ago I always go there to find good food quite a old place but nice give a sense of old Singapore good place to find cheaper shoes many years ago everything change now
Love the old school style mall but too bad not even 1 Halal Food cafe there except McDonalds…
A great place to shop for sports person.
My go to place for sports equipment since young! Don’t forget to try curry chicken and Laksa there. Managed to get great bargains there. Can try to bargain abit for lower price for some shops.
I always like to shop at Queensway Shopping Centre for my sports apparel and glasses. I just went back recently to do some shopping, and they bring back so many memories!
There are so many shops in the mall, opticians, tailors, shoe shops other than sports apparel and equipment shop, I’m spoiled for choices .
On the highest floor, I always go to Ultra Supplies when I need to do printing work because they do large orders and prices are very competitive!
After shopping, I usually satisfy my tummy with their famous 328 Katong Laksa & Lau Tan Tutu Kueh !
There are lot of outlets to buy shoes of any size and brand but the mall is quiet confusing and a bit older than other malls. You can also have 380 laksa there
This seemingly old shopping center has the largest collection of shops selling sports gears and sportswear. The Katong laska store sitting right in the middle of the ground floor is popular!
Queensway Shopping Centre is a place to go to for sports equipments or if you are looking for an optometrist in Singapore, you can get it all at Sinma Optical. From eye examinations to contact lens fittings and from prescription eyewear to Lasik consultation, you can readily get it done with Sinma Optical. I rated 5 stars because the shop owner is very friendly too! @the.nana.thing
Good bargains for spectacles and sports item
I just popped by Queensway Shopping Centre to pick up a pair of new shoes for my boyfriend! The variety is huge with super reasonable and highly affordable price tags. I went to Shoe Classic, they have shoes of good quality and comfort.
Amazing
Great place to shop for sports equipments. A lot of options although would prefer if they carried a bit more diversity in brands. Not much apart from that except for maybe one of the best Katong Laksa in Singapore.
A place to search out for spectacles buy. Sport wear and jeans. T-shirts printing and other curios shops. Becareful when purchasing jeans. You could be “ali baba” by them
An iconic shopping mall familiar to people from all walks of life. Especially for any eye-wear products, you can get them here(many brands available) Likewise for sport products. Certainly, a nice mall to shop.
Above 100 dollars but most shoes i tried there are hard
Opened in 1976, Queensway Shopping Centre is one of several Singapore’s first multi -purpose shopping complexes located 1 Queensway, Singapore 149053
A popular yet old shopping center where you get all your shopping goods and printing done. I’m my experience you can get sports gear at a little cheaper price than at brand outlets. While you are here, do make sure you try the laksa, chicken cutlet or curry. I recommend the traditional stall (nearer to posb) or else, there’s a MacDonald’s on the top floor too.
Not many food stalls and not halal. Conveniently located.
Enjoy the shopping experience and the retail shoe stores aplenty. The only shortfall is the store Janggut lasak ‘food and beverage corner’ that sells laksa; its chicken cutlet isn’t fresh at all. Cold and stiff, plus an unpleasant smell on chewing. I took two pieces and decided to let them go to waste. The chicken curry is more savoury than usual but yummy. The muah chee was nice. Total damage for one pax is $17.30, including an ice Teh-O. Most likely will not visit again. Mostly would only eat the laksa and not the chicken cutlets, based on my observation.
Best place for sport apparels with a good deal price, and one of the legendary mall in Singapore. Full of good memory of my past 6 years in this mall.
Janggut Laksa was disappointment. Sauce diluted, standard has dropped.
Times fly fast. Iconic place for sports shoes and equipments remained with some familiar names. But new style running businesses with new names growing. Yet remains popular in the hearts during the 90s!
Not much to explore as it’s a small old mall. Feels like the 1990s. The tea eggs as well as katong laksa there are great but other than that, there aren’t many other stores to go to personally. Everything else is just stores selling sports equipment, snacks, shampoo and stuff. If you’re not there to eat, I think you’ll be bored within 30 mins of exploring.
Overall, this is quite a nice shopping centre with a variety of shops selling sports apparel, shoes as well as equipment. It is an excellent place to especially buy badminton rackets as many shops do sell them. There are also a lot of shops selling shoes of different designs. I won’t really recommend this place if you are looking for cheaper shoes here, you should go to IMM factory outlets for a cheaper price. Furthermore, the shops you want can be challenging to find, since the layout is a bit different compared to a normal shopping mall. But I do like the ambiance overall.
Structurally, it the same outlook from generations. The shops are as old as before. But what amazes this place, the foods are always new, latest and easy to find. Good management on Safety and checks upon entrance. This is actually a MAGICAL shopping centres in Singapore. One of the earliest.
Went to alter my formal pants at Wilson Tailor, costs me $10 to shorten it. Not only was it fast, workmanship was good too! Sent for altering at 12pm and could collect at 1.30pm. V satisfied.
Great location, also the katong laksa is amazing. Decent variety of shops and the optical shop here is strongly recommended. Can’t find the exact shop on google maps so just check it out.
Quaint mall. A little dated. Some convenient eateries on the ground floor. If you’ve made your way here, you’d likely know what you are here for. Years back, when I parked downstairs for less than 10minutes, I had my helmet stolen(thief slashed the strap) so watch out.
I used to visit this place when I was younger as they have limited edition collections, they have trendy sportswear, shoes and food that I like! I’ll always go there for their laksa, curry rice and Tutu kuehs!
Sports stuff. Still many old school shops
In a city that has constantly evolved, this mall has surprisingly remained the same in a good way. It’s the go-to place for active wear especially running shoes. You need to know what the right price is and then shamelessly look and bargain for it amongst the many shops selling similar things.
Super random mall that has a crazy amount of sporting good stores. You can find just about every brand of running shoes, hiking shoes, sport specific shoes, and other sport related items.
Long-standing medium size shopping centre in decent condition with several levels of shops.
Focus mainly on Clothes, Sportswear & Equipment, various curios, Opticians, some services, etc.
Small Eateries with limited range of food.
Great place to buy sports gear. Best place to buy sports shoes gear place for rackets restringing and rackets gears.
Still the best place to get your sports shoes and fix your rackets!
This shopping mall has been awake since long ago. Shopping outlets with few old skool traditional meals that are famous. Like the Tutu kueh and laksa stall. But sadly, prices are increasing soo not much cheap varieties but its filled with sporting goods and fashionable clothes. Its an experience on its own.
Queensway Shopping Centre brings back lots of memories. Many old shops have gone , many shops are closed, many sports shops selling Badminton and Tennis equipments and accessories. Many optical and Shirt printing shops too !
Best place to buy VAN sneakers shoes …
Best place to find sport wear and equipment…my favorite place to shop for Levi’s jeans…it’s at Mahabub Levi’s store..level 2… Authentic and good Offer..
No other place I go to buy my jeans except this store …. recommended!!
The famous Laksa there always smell so great and taste good. Must try.
Have many sports item shops as well.
Can get sports item there with good deal but u gotta ask for better price.
Nice place for getting food or shopping for clothes and shoes, has a-lot of shops and is nice and big.
Old shopping mall with lots of entries and sports shops. Spots shops offers the best deals you can get anywhere in Singapore. Smash sports is good if you are looking for badminton or tennis gear there look for Deen
I always like to shop at Queensway Shopping Centre, and I never fail to spend a fruitful day there! It’s one of the must-visit places and always brings back my childhood memories! There are so many shops in the mall, from sports apparel and equipment shop, tailors, shoe shop, printing shops, opticians, gift and souvenir shops, barbershops, and so many more!
On the 3rd floor, I always like to go to the Alpha Gift & Souvenirs when I need to purchase some gifts or souvenirs because their price is affordable with such excellent quality!
After shopping, I always never forget to complete my trip and satisfy my tummy with their famous Lau Tan Tutu Kueh! The Kueh is really yummy and reminisces our childhood memories!
Head down here and enjoy your shopping now! ️
Love the atmosphere here. Nothing changes since 1976 I guess. I’m born in 1977. Back to memory lane kind of place. Friendly staff and for good pricing, smile before you pay. Lots of sporty and of branded stuff. …
If you want to buy a new pair of sport shoes this is the place to come. They got a very wide range and latest model of branded sports shoes. They also give discount up to 30% on selected model.
The shop mixed is no longer as good. But the Janngut laksa stall is still there. One of the best laksa in Singapore.
The establishment opens at 0830, but shops are not until 1100. A handful of specialty storea for your sporting requirements.
Shops do not open at 8am. Doors are open and while the food stalls are preparing u can actually order before official opening time.
Of course various sports apparel at reasonable prices but rather dirty toilets
Good place to do printing and engraving as well as buy sports goods. Many of the shops have been here for years so the shopkeepers know their stuff. Carpark very very narrow because it’s an old building.
An nostalgic mall back during my secondary school days where I would come here and do some shopping along with my friends simply because we were mostly in the basketball team . Always searching out for our favorite pair of shoes and eating the curry chicken cutlet or curry chicken. Gonna miss this mall am really sadden by the news that its facing an en bloc
Come here only if u want to get sports apparel. Problem is that the shops on the ground floor are interlinked, I actually saw a service personnel walked from 1 shop to another to get a pair of shoes! There used to be decent bargains, but they are more or less fixed price now.
If you are a fan of tennis or badminton or are planning to start a must visit place. A lot of variety. I gave my racquet for stiringing at sports report LVl 3, Got it with in an hour. Service was good and owner was very helpful.
Quite old shopping place. If you need sport stuff you can go here as this place dominated by sport shops.
Nevertheless, this place also has various other shop for your needs including food.
They have 2 favourite laksa stall here and also MC D for junk food lovers…
Need sporting wear, sport equipments, apparents? You will be spolit for choice. Also you need ? Many shops to choose from. …
Used to be my favourite place to find limited edition sneakers. Some of the brands started here has branched out into other malls, so it has done well over the years.
It’s closing soon, so last few times to see this old dame.
I always like to shop at Queensway Shopping Centre for my sports apparel and glasses. I just went back recently to do some shopping, and they bring back so many memories!

After shopping, I usually satisfy my tummy with their famous 328 Katong Laksa & Lau Tan Tutu Kueh !
Used to shop for shirts and pants for my husband. Varieties were different especially when it comes to Deepavali shopping. One can also get huge sizes of pants, there, too. It is always a one-stop- spot for Sports wears and gears..
Old shopping mall with touch of nostalgia and loads of sporty goods shops selling shoes.
Quite a few tasty eateries as well.
Best deal, great selection for any lifestyle sneakers to sports shoes, sport acessories, hiking shoes store to meet your requirement.
Optical shops with great selection, Local comfort food kiosk (laksa, chicken curry, nasi lemak, tutu kueh, taiwanese braise pork rice)
This place is a shopping haven during 1980.but until today you still can get a good bargain product, some shop even sells a unique, branded product & even a limited edition items, that is much more cheaper compare to other shops elswhere.to me it’s old but it has a great branded bargain product & i usually buy anything there because most of the seller there is friendly & easy to communicate.i give a 10 out of 10.
Nice cozy eatery at ground floor serving curry chicken rice. Comes with 2 piece of chicken .
There is a tutu Kueh shop at level 2. Went there at close to 9. They are sold out and told me no more ingredient to make tutu kueh
This shopping mall is famous for all sports items. You will easily find equipments for all kind of sports ike Badminton raquets, Tennis, Table Tennis, Football, Basketball and running etc. All the items you find are of professional quality. It is one stop shop for your sports items, very popular in Singapore.
Tired old heartlands mall with a fantastic selection of sportswear, shoes, and printing shops, and a 24hr gym (Anytime Fitness) on the 3rd floor.
Clothing and footwear is reasonably priced, and you won’t get a bigger selection elsewhere.
There are food stalls on the bottom level, and a large McDonalds (usually filled with students) up top.
A nice relic that harks back to the early 80s of Singaporean consumerism.
Once upon a time a haven for sports apparels, footwear and equipment especially for soccer related stuff. Still there is a few big shops there. Worth a visit.
Get restring my tennis racket in Gala Sports @01-33. Boss is professional and friendly. Recommend.
Very old shopping mall. Parking was very expensive. Around $2.50 for just 15 min. Lots of sports stores.
Made me spent $ that shouldn’t spend! But the shoe designs here are really unique, if you are into them! …
Im loving this place for cheap sneakers. Great sale. Not much variety of shops but if you’re specifically looking for sports apparels, this place is a worth a visit.
Iconic landmark. Been around like forever. Diverse retail outlet. Sporting goods, fashion, lifestyle, footwear, music, printing services for clothing & document, trophy making & also food. Some shops had been around since the 80’s. Look around for great bargain for sport shoes & apparel. There is a small music shop selling guitars which use to sell CD’s during the 90’s & 00’s. Other main stay are Weston Corp. where you can buy good quality sporting products. There are plans to develop the area but secretly hoping that it can remain the way it is for a lot longer.
Went back recently (April’22) bought myself a pair of Dickies & Levis. Got a good bargain for the Levis which was on sale. Just to update, for Liverpool FC fans make sure to head down to the 2nd official store in SG at level 1. Its been in operation for the past year. Also for cyclists there are a least 3 outlets selling bike & assessories all located on the 2nd level.
Nice place to shop. With lots of great finds at reasonable prices.
Great outlet place to get sports shoes and equipment . Also I got some good deals on spectacles
Great place to get your sports equipment requirement needs. Competitively priced too as there are many suppliers in the place. Very approachable and knowledgeable staff
1 of those old shopping centres left. Good bargains for sport attire, jeans, spectacles, shoes, shirt and polo T-shirt & alterations. And of course the Janggut laksa, curry chicken, chicken cutlets with rice and otah….yummy, reasonable pricing and good customer services. The other stall (selling the same food) is nowhere near, despite it popularity!!!!
Always the best place to go for your sports gear! From latest models to limited edition with opportunity to bargain a bit! For those who needs their rackets restring, this is also a great place to find many options!
With so many good deals for sports gear and spectacles, it is my favorite hunt since school days. We love to visit here for the delectable range of delicacies available before or after Ikea visit too! My top fav is Janggut Laksa.
Good for sporting attire and optical services
I used to come here at Queensway Shopping Centre for my tennis needs, wide variety of rubber shoes, bags, and other sports related merchandize can be found here.
Lost much of its previous glam as a discount heaven for shoes and equipment. Still a good place for decent discounts and has also become more of a foodie hideout.
Love coming here for the laksa other than that, good variety of shoes. I left out 1 star because i wish some shops’ owners / staffs do not push-sell. …
A local place to shop for sporting goods and trendy wear. Also has a lot of optical shops.
Always love the local feel there
Laksa stalls are amazing Good to come here if you want the occasional shoe deal also. Maybe not the latest shoes but good deals. Quite a few tennis and badminton themed shops too. Have those steel toed boots shops as well. Can find good deals on past season football/soccer jerseys as well. A cool mall to have.
Great deals for all kinds of sports including tennis, running, football (soccer), badmington, table tennis etc. In addition, quite a few shops selling football (soccer) jerseys for adults and kids. Bought a set for my 3.5 year old son for SGD 15 SGD which is a bargain! Overall you’ll find some bargains but also the latest fashion at discounted prices. Worth visiting if you are looking to buy any sports gear. Secret tip: the Laksa dish at level 1 is delicious!
Its a good thing they didnt close it down whoever’s stupid idea that was. Its the place where u buy cheaper sports shoes, basketball shoes and other sporting equipment. Its the best place to be, not knockoff goods by any means they’re just sold at non markup prices unlike the typical malls where quality sucks but extremely high price. I hope it stays for good, its the 1st place u shld go when u think of footwear in Singapore.
Have been relying on this place for shoes and sports equipment since childhood. Not to mention the laksa and Tu Tu Kueh, and the print and binding services on the top floor. Corridors are tight to accommodate the large number of shops.
Place for sneakers hunting in singapore.
Researching into the history of this mall, I was disappointed to find that The Queen certainly did not have her Way with this one. However, it is very nice and I do love me some laksa.
May The Queen rest in peace within our hearts forevermore.
I got the latest Liverpool Jersey there and the place doesn’t really look like a ghost town. There is still a lot of offering and discounts on sports apparels and equipments.
Less sports shop and better mixed of tenants now. Worth the trip for pricey, branded sports stuff. Found couple of shops selling limited edition shoes.
Place to get quick printing of name cards and brochures. Also sports equipment.
Popular place for sports gear and glasses.
This place is like a maze of limited edition sneakers and tennis stores. There were three floors of essentially sports stores and only ONE boxing store. How many tennis stores do you need? …
My usual hunt during school.
days many years ago. It’s change quite a bit, for the better. A variety of shops selling different stuffs like clothing, shoes, sports wear etc. Ultra supplies is still around. Alpha who is making trophies is also still around. …
As crowded as before.
Popular for sports shoes, equipment, restringing of rackets.
Katong Laksa is also available, popular option to many.
Great place if you can’t find your sports goods online or your shoe size is missing
This is a popular place for buying shoes in Singapore. Many people say it’s cheap but from my experience I can say it depends. There are many many shoe shops with all types of shoes and sports accessories and clothing. At some shops it felt like the shoe is not authentic. So it depends on which shop you buy from and check properly before buying. A good place to check different models of shoes in one location.
Old shopping center but good place to get sports gear and Katong Laksa
An old shopping place where we used to or still go there to buy sports shoes or equipment. There are also some eateries there but no much of anything else.
Supposingly the place to buy all sports shoes and so on… at the end only few sizes and old models. run there 2hrs.
We went to IMM and found exactly what we need in 30min with discount… so I guess this place use to be…
The Janggut Laksa here is indeed good but prices have gone up. A large bowl is now $7.50. The otah and curry chicken are good too.
Heaven for spotsman, you can almost find anything related to sports here starting from jersey, water bottle, racquet, etc. Price in different store is quite similar. There are couple of food stall on the ground level. Shopping experience was great!
The place to buy all kinds of shoes and sports equipment
Definitely a go to if you want cheap deals on sporting goods. You can get a good price off an older model shoe at most of the shops here. Worth checking it out if you are on a tight budget.
Try their katong laksa its awesome!
Oh, the 328 Katong laksa is so yummy! No need to go all the way to Joo Chiat for the laksa.
Queensway Shopping Centre.
One of oldest shopping complex with history of at least 40+ years.
Well known for sport appeals outlets. Many shops there actually own by same business partner, probably that their business strategies in term of pricing.
There are several good foods for you to explore further.
Last update Mar2018
Haven’t dropped by for quite a while. Am impressed to see new shops n d place is brighter now! Aroma laksa alw fills d mall… it’s a great place to shop for sports goods but one must really know what one’s looking for b4 stepping into d stores, or risk getting some stares fr d shop assistants/owners!!
There are many shoes and many other items for sale here. The food here is also delicious …
Variety of sports related services, from jerseys, rackets, balls to trophies, medals. Other apparels shops and some good chow in the building too. Amazing place really.. Just a little old building that can.
QUEENSWAY MALL HARDLY CHANGEd.
You can find any sports shoe there. I was looking for a Casual shoe for 3yrs but no luck.
Anyway it’s a nice place.
Always equate at high price.
Shoppers has to b careful .
Went there very often before covid cos my girlfriend lived near there.. we will ate at the stall selling curry chicken and laksa, me having curry chicken, she either curry chicken or laksa.
Shop that I trust the most to restring my rackets…
A must go when you need sports equipment!
Sells many brands of high end footwear but sells imitations too. Shoppers must check certifications before making a purchase. Also sells famous local dishes like Penang Laksa at a fair price. Ample basement parking and easy access to the main shopping centre on the 1st floor.
The katong laksa serves one of the best cutlet curry rice!
Great place for tennis racquet management and with nice staff that helped return to me my lost items
One stop shop for all sporting goods at an affordable price.
My wife loves the Tutu Kueh there and the place has good food.
This is an old mall to get your sports equipment especially shoes. Usually first stop for many. Also to photocopy your text books, notes, etc. There are many tailors as well. And not forgetting the laksa and curry noodles on the ground floor.
Place is getting very dated now but then, it’s got a lot of characters and also the shopkeepers too have characters in a negative sense. Can negotiate but if you low ball them, you’ll see these *characters*.
A classic to go place to buy shoes and sports equipment especially badminton and tennis rackets. Some famous laksa/chicken curry stores as well in level 1. Level 3 is rather empty with many shops closed. It has a macdonald and gym too. One bad point is that it is not near the mrt.

Gone are its glorious days as go-to place for sports wear and trendy clothes. Despite talk of massive renovations the place still reeks of sweat and Katong laksa. But for those still living in yesteryear – this is the place for hippie style – not hip
Retro place to buy jeans, sportswear, shoes – get printing done and eat superb local food. You must try the laksa!
Growing up, shoe shopping for sports is usually done at here and it brings back fond memories whenever I return here.
Not only do you get your printing essentials on the top floor but most importantly, are the tutu kuehs and the rivaling laksa stores! (Team Janggut here!)
Nice place to shop for sports equipment, shoes, bubble tea shop, mac Donald, there is a claw machine that you can play. There is other food stall as well. Other shops etc as well.
Few years ago, I came to this mall to get my sports equipment. It seemed that the stores are still here.. although I must say for shoes, I find that the price are quite steep… Maybe because I could get it online much cheaper .. but overall it’s still a good place to find sports equipment.
Nice place for shopping alot of sports item.
Good place to buy badminton rackets and shoes
Overall, this is quite a nice shopping centre with a variety of shops selling sports apparel, shoes as well as equipment. It is an excellent place to especially buy badminton rackets as many shops do sell them. There are also a lot of shops selling shoes of different designs. I won’t really recommend this place if you are looking for cheaper shoes here, you should go to IMM factory outlets for a cheaper price. Furthermore, the shops you want can be challenging to find, since the layout is a bit different compared to a normal shopping mall. But I do like the ambiance overall.
ages since last stepped into this retro classic shopping centre. most shops are still surviving but also saw some newly opened ones too. sports shoes, badminton & tennis rackets, sunglasses, jerseys for those looking for it this is the place to search.
but what is it with the Reds football shop though. rather irritating just even walking past it. lol
Great place to get active wear. Parking is convenient.
The place to go for great kicks. Went one afternoon last week. Bought a pair of running shoes for the wife, netball shoes for the kid and safety work shoes for myself. Happy with my purchases. Prices are fair as there’s so much competition here.
Don’t forget the mandatory laksa and tutu kueh for a meal break. No trip to Queensway shipping centre is complete without it.
We drive a van so we couldn’t get into the car park which has a very low height restriction and parked at Anchorpoint instead.
Place was known as the mecca to get cheaper shoes/sneakers but nowadays pricing are no longer different from mall retailers. Most of the shoe shops are located at ground level with long standing Katong Laksa 328 and Macdonald’s at L2. There are several sports equipments and musical instruments shops too. Higher levels are mostly populated by printing shops thus place is still popular among students.
A good place to find all sorts of sporting equipments. There are stores selling shoes, apparels, football jerseys, sporting equipment, etc. There’s badminton and tennis restringing service as well.
There’s also a katong laksa store inside.
Alot of memories of this place.
Sad dat its closing down.
The shops there mainly catered for sports ppl, fashion, sch uniform n such…
Used to be a hang out for me n my friends during the 90s
Remembering brands like banana republic, fubu, alien workshop, crissCross n many more
Good place to satisfy your sporting/printing needs!
Lovely shopping centre with lots of hidden gems! Besides sport apparel and tutu kueh, they have Swiss D Art Floral (#03-33) for nice floral bouquets and terrariums & Wilson Tailor (#02-36) offers good and affordable tailoring!
Many discounted shoes. Thank you …
If you’re wondering, its still open. Excellent set of shops from yesteryear. Doesn’t feel like its as cheap as before, but always worth a visit for your sporting needs.
TEENAGE Nephew couldn’t find sports shoes for his gigantic feet at most retail shops but found it at Queensway and at a discounted price. He was very pleased to buy a branded shoes, better price than most malls and most importantly his size.
The go-to place for sport shoes and rackets. You can get shoes from all the famous brands at lower prices compared to elsewhere in Singapore. However, you should always try to bargain with the shops and sometimes you do get further discounts. There is also a wide range of spectacles available here at very competitive prices. While you are here, do not miss the laksa and curry chicken selling at ground floor. There are 2 stalls here, both claiming to be authentic. Both are equally tasty in my opinion.
A very old-school place with lots of sporting goods shops. Very nice and chill atmosphere
We loved this place as it had a varied variety of sports shoes to pick & choose from.
Most of the store help were very courteous to understand our need and provide options
Came around this time to fix my pair of spectacles.I have buying from Lester of SK Optic for several years although he used to be a partner of Les Eyecare. I really like Lester’s service, very patient, soft spoken and always composed even if you criticised him on his products. Don’t let his small shop turned you away, he has quite a wide range of branded prescription frames and lens at reasonable prices.
Nice little suburban shopping mall. Good place to find sports goods, tennis rackets, running shoes, etc. They have 2 great Laksa places there, although prices are a bit steep. Food is delicious. A place to find photocopy shops that provide photocopy and binding services. Good for binding meeting reports. There’s even a gym on level 3.
This is the place that you definitely should go to get your sports shoes or gear. The decades old non-strata shopping mall congregates a lot of shops selling sports equipment, garments and shoes. It is one of my go-to place for sport shoes.
Once a sports shoes heaven but now very expensive and sales person not friendly. Those days most shops are run by Indians but all gone.
Love the shopping for sports apparels at this mall! They also have the best tutukueh! Will definitely be back …
So glad that the building still stays. The toilet looks new though perhaps just renovated. The entire shopping centre is clean and the shops are pretty much the same. You can bargain for your purchases here.
This place has good memory of life. Why? School time: if you looking for soocer shoes and sock is easy to find. 2nd: it next to Allexandra hospital. 3rd: it centre to where nearby house, school, factory, shopping and wet market. Now i still love this place..
Love the laksa here and that there are many well-known stalls such as limited ed, tailor shops, and even their famous laksa in the middle of the mall
Although rather run down still a variety of shops
Good place to shop for sports n life style shoe. Generally cheaper than town from 20%.
Also check out a this shop (Bonkers Link) on 2nd floor. Wide range of adventure bags at good price.
Great place to shop for sports apparel (shorts, bags, racquets, balls, shoes, you name it they have it). A pity though, as I find that it used to be cheaper
Get your bags and luggage from the one and only Uncle Chng at bonkers link located on level 2. Awesome prices and service. You may end up buying more than what you want over at his little shop.
Round up the trip with a bowl of laska or curry chicken from the famous shop on level1
Recommended to visit the store nearer to the main entrance. Ordered the regular sized curry chicken cutlet rice. The curry is nice, mixed with the white rice. Yummy.
A familiar place for sports wear, souvenirs, photocopying, etc… Literally Empty for shopping, more people patronize the makan kiosk.. Got Tutu kueh, 823 Katong laksa, Queensway original curry chicken..
Every time passby this building make me crave for their laksa !
Everytime I will go as a combo
laksa and curry chicken along with the honey lemon then chocolate tutu kueh then shop shop ! Theres so many store to look at ! sports clothes , sports needs ,shoe , vintage stores , glasses , claw machines and more food !
Alot of shoe shops here. Trying to find work boots but many are not to my style. Alrough old , the place is much smaller compared ro other old shopping buildings.
there have a lot of badminton shop and a lot of sports shops and the food there are not bad as the food tase good and got other types of food there too. i would recommend those people who are like a sporty person, i will ask them to go there to get their sports equipment there and even shoes to get there.
Shopping center that give nostalgic feelings due to the old structure of it. It’s a place to get your kicks/sneakers at. Most of the stores items sold are cheaper than any other place you can find. Great food store as well. (Curry chicken and laksa). Definitely worth the visit!
Good for sports related items shopping Like tennis, football, gym outfits and light gym equipments dumbbell, barbells.
A nice cup printing shop with nice service.
A very good printing services shop called ultra services. Best in printing pages, books, t shirt, flyers and many more.
Anytime fitness, Mcdonald and some food shops.
Quite number of shops for eye glasses.
Good for people around to quickly grab something to eat.
Some hair saloon and beauty shops.
Few unique shops for antique items, mobile accessories, shoe and cloths.
Great mall for sporting goods, printing services upstairs, as well as general nostalgia. However, it’s pretty lacking in terms of F&B options. I’d come here often for sportswear such as shoes and football jerseys but that’s about it.
Perfect place to get ur sport shoes and equipment !!!
Lots of sports shops to choose from. Not a very modern place, but a good place to hunt for sports deals. Lots of shops that do racquet stringing for tennis and badminton. Take your pick. A good sports market and good deals to be found if you know a few shopkeepers. Liho tea and tu tu Kueh complete the experience for me
#queenswayshoppingcentre
Missed the #janggutlaksa #janggut #laska and the friendly lady boss so much!!!
Great I had the large bowl plus the #otah too
Good place for buy sporty stuff discount in singapore..original and always smell laksa
Cos Covid-19 shopping centre got blocking for the few entrance, else it is a good place to go. Especially the Macdonald inside shopping centre.
Reminiscing in my childhood playground at Queensway Shopping Centre, my usual hang-out place to get my sneakers, food, and gaming entertainment fix. Often, is my greatest time to shop in the mall as there is a wide range to choose, from trendy shoes, traditional authentic food, quality optical shops to convenient tailor shops.
Just great place to get shoes and glasses. Good price, great value. If you do your research, you would be able to narrow down the few shops that are super reliable. No worries on being scalped. Got my new badminton shoes at Chau Beng at a decent price.
Nice mall and get niche and very useful stuff like printouts, custom tees, shoes, sports equipment. Being small makes it easier to navigate and generally the shop owners are more friendly.
No halal food only mac donald
Came here to scout for football boots. But the choices were limited, only at most 4 stores selling the boots with very little choices. Buying online can fetch u a far better deal.
Laksa is still good and still perfect if you want to come here to buy sport shoes.
Go only if you are looking to buy sports shoes, otherwise don’t waste time. Very small shopping center
First place I go to if I need to get sports equipment or apparel. Mostly discounted for their shoes. But of course don’t expect the latest trends.
Food wise.. you have 328 katong laksa and curry chicken. There is a also yummy mua chee and tutu Kueh on the second level!
There are lots of shops and lots of choices.some places have non-genuine shoes. Always check official website and its price before buy. negotiations can be done.
‘Hellosports’ is the best store for your badminton needs!
Best sports mall but the smell there is horrible
First time visiting this mall, eclectic but with a lot of sports stores
Great place + Best discounts on Sports & Outdoor shoes/Backpacks
One of the few places where you can find cheap sporting apparels! Plus good cheap eats as well! There’s a McDonald’s in here as well if you are craving for some McGoodness.
Lots of choice. Well set out.
Shopping Centre focused mainly on Apparel ans Sports. Pretty good services like Badminton Racket stringing, etc. Sports items like balls bats and rackets are also available. Fairly affordable prices. Some items are cheaper here than the original brand outlets. But honestly a bit confusing to get around. A bit like a maze but its big. Oh, they also give out free popcorn until 6 pm so that’s a plus point.
Famous for sportswear and gear you can find many specialist shops for hiking camping to running and major ball sports. The top level have shops that customised trophies and medals for your neighbourhood competitions. This is one of the last few unique Malls left in Singapore. There are some good local eateries here too. The famous 328 laksa and tutu kueh.
they have a wide array of shops that sell clothes (trifted) athelisure shoes and printing services. this place used to be known to sell shoes for a cheaper price but in recent years prices have mostly been similar to that in the usual shopping malls
I just went there for a screen protecter repair. Prices there are the BEST! also Laksa if u want local food!
A good place to buy sports attire as there are many stalls selling sports attire. You can also eat the famous Katong Laksa here.
Always love to come here for sports stuff. Also always must buy the tutu kueh and muah chee from L2. Janggut laksa is also very nice.
The place I used to go to since my teenage years hunting for affordable football boots. It is still a go-to for many, but definitely the mall has taken a hit. There’s quite a number of shops there which are either closed or about to wind down; a worrying reality from its glory days.
It’s probably the only mall in Singapore where you could haggle your way for a good deal.
Classic place, en bloc didn’t go thru else another iconic shopping centre will gone …..like Dust in The Wind.
Toilet got bidet. Good place to pass motion. Legit one laa. especially malay, always look for bidet. …
Have major nostalgic feelings after visiting Queensway Shopping Centre recently as it’s one of my favourite malls to visit as a kid ️
.
Was looking at the many shoe shops and came across this cute pair of Mary Janes and now I’m a proud owner of one They also have many good quality sandals and boots for both males and females (shop name is called Ellie’s Shoe Co at level 2 if y’all are interested )
.
Queenstown shopping centre also has many sports shops (where I used to get my FBTs) and they are well known for their delicious food (katong laksa, curry chicken rice, tutu kueh) – I’ll recommend that y’all go visit for yourself, to find out and shop, shop, shop!!
My favorite shopping center. Lots of brands for sports shoes , eye wear products, shirt and jeans and also local laksa. Yummy.
Limited Edt and its stores in Queensway are a must to visit. Especially if you love basketball. You won’t wanna miss it!
If you are looking for any sport equipments, clothing and shoes, this is the right place for you. Lots of choices and varieties to choose from. Price negotiable most of the time.
Uniquely, when you walked into this shopping centre, the first thing is – you will smell the famous Katong Laksa filled the air. Nice if you can find a place to enjoy that bowl of laksa.
One of the Oldest Shopping Mall in Singapore opened in 1996 still active. Best place for Shopping Sporting Goods, Can Buy Brandes shoes at discounted Prices.
Who can miss the iconic queensway shopping centre if you are in your 20s to 80s!! Great selection of sports wear, football stuff, selection of other apparels as well as eye wear etc.. especially like the 2 casual food stores within the complex. Decent parking and good to spend time and some monies!
Great place with lots of bargain like shoes, shoes and shoes.
This is a sports complex where you can find many sports items cheap. Badminton tennis racket services also some other services like printing and tailoring also there.
Good place to be at, if you’re in search for anything related to sports (i.e clothes/shoes/bags/rackets/etc).
There’s also the printing shop at the highest level of the mall. And surprisingly, there now is a mini plant store tucked at the corner of the top level opposite the printing shop.
And if you’re not here for sports items, then you’re definitely like me, who’s here only for the food. Oh I love the old school food here – Laksa, curry chicken, tutu kueh, muah chee, bubble tea, herbal tea egg!!!! Disclaimer as at July 2021: Prices seem to have inflated tho for the Janggut Laksa. No more small sizes but only medium (at 7.50) and large.
Good place for buying clothes, shoes, sports wear, foldable bicycles, trophy , photocopies etc.. …
Although the shopping center is old, it’s a very good place for sports goods. Sports Shoes, jerseys, racquet stringing, etc available. Very useful for sports goods related shopping.
It’s a great place to get your sporty side out
Used to be D place to get for Sporting stuffs but post-covid has got rid of most stores operating there. Hope it gets back to how it was before
Best place to buy sportswear…
discovered this mall during my secondary school days when we had to make class tees and have been going back there for their famous laksa and sportswear ever since!!!
everything is so affordable there it’s amazing.
Just as the days in my 1970’s famous cheap n quality sport shoes trackers socks jeans all U can name n do a search on going to compare all stuffs
Great selection of sporting goods and shoes in particular. They often have slightly older models of running/training shoes at 30-50% discounts, especially if you wear less popular sizes.
Queensway Center for Shopping The name is not as imaginative as some of those in the town. However, it is undeniably beautiful. The variety of sportswear that the shops have to offer will astound you.
Let me tell you about this shopping center’s beauty: it has a wide selection of sports gear and clothing. This store sells sports equipment and offers excellent discounts. Level 1 has an optical store, level 1 also has printing services, and level 4 is where you can create name labels.
Locals like us will visit this location to find good bargains, but the prices are unquestionably lower because it offers discounts compared to
Little changed since the 80s. Great to have it still around – owner operated shops with personal service. Not like the new shopping malls. Well known for sports goods.
Still the same old quiet shopping some old stores still reminds the same in this shopping arena but some are already gone cos it’s not really crowded anymore den last time some more now is covid period it’s really hard for them .without any other out source it’s very hard for them to survive with the rental fees .quite sad as I move around the 1st floor and the 2nd floor .3rd floor I nv explore due to my ankle injury to pain to walk more .but I still love my childhood shopping centre .
This is a very good place to look for shoes. Lots of selection for glasses, as well.
You can find Vans and Converse, if those shoes are your style. The Vans are located in a store that sells a variety of sports shoes, while Converse has its own store (with friendly staff). I spotted a variety of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” Vans and managed to get a rather unique (outlandish?) Sally themed pair for myself. I’m excited to wear them.
Always a nice laid back place to do your shopping.
They have a good mix of shops for sports shoes and clothes.
There are also limited food options, but nonetheless these outlets sell pretty decent food.
Place where u can find to buy sports items…etc
Still one of the best places to shop for sporting goods and eyewear. As for shoes, you’ll find shops offering limited editions and hard to find models. That’s great for the sneaker heads. As for eyewear, it varies. You’ll get the usual ridiculously priced designer ones but still plenty of regular choices. Walk around and you’ll discover unusual shops. Like a custom leather goods, RC drones and helicopters. It’s an old place with a distinct smell. But hey, this mall is old school and I hope it remains this way for a long time.
Where you can find all kinds of sport shoes
A great place to shop for prints tees, shoes, boots, and sports items. Ironing, embroidery, and sewing services also have here. MacD is also here. So kinda convenient place to shop and dine. Snack shop in the middle of the mall also quite alright… Overall a nice place. Carpark can be difficult due to the limited space.
