Visit the oldest swimming complex in Singapore before it closes down soon
Good price, easy access, clean.
A nice place to have a mkorniing swim. Usually don’t have crowd. However tends to be a bit crowded during weekend.
Neat place.
Old but well maintained pool
Great place to swim.
Very good! I enjoyed myself.
Very good
Have to book due to Cov-19 (it is 2021now!!)
Good clean swimming pool. Separate diving , kids and adult pool. Clean Shower area.
The place where I played with water when I was a child
小时候玩水的地方
Better check the kids swimming class schedule with staff if you don’t like crowded pool
Kinda old
Nice old school style swimming complex. Canteen seems permanently closed but there appears to be lots of activity like diving and underwater polo
Nice and clean public pool!
Love this place. Warm water and lots of room.I Swim here as often as possible
Total of 4 pools with male and female changing rooms. Lockers outside. Could use a rejuvenation like its Delta sister.
Great location in terms of commute, few hundred steps from the bus stop at Commonwealth avenue near Queenstown mrt. The changing rooms are huge and just okay. It has provisioned lockers for an additional cost of 20cents. Keep your bags and stuff safely before taking a dip in the pool. The locker system is a trivial key based lock. If you don’t have a pocket on the swimming shorts, fret not key comes with an elastic band and that allows anyone to wear it as a wrist band.
The water in the pool was warm and nice. However the chlorine content was too high and that made my swim very uncomfortable. After going back home my wife could smell very intense chlorine. Every Wednesday morning the pool gets cleaned and therefore closed for usage until 2pm.
Loacted in the backdrop of HDB flats, this is one of the iconic pools in Singapore. Loves the rustic architecture.
Visited on a weekday afternoon as my usual neighbourhood pool is closed. There is a lazy tired vibe to the place (meant to be a compliment as you dont get this easily now).
Access to the pool is easy via ezlink or activesg app. Pool and toilets are clean and well-maintained. There is a children pool but I did not visit.
Please note that parking slots are limited on site. Enjoyed the swim and will definitely returns!
Good
During the epidemic, normal opening.
Great
V quiet pool and under utilised. There are 5 pools for babies to serious swimmers. Very quaint surrounding. Place is run down but still serves the purpose.
Old but gold
Friendly lifeguards!
Nice
Nice and clean pool, for all age groups
Goo little stadium. Main stand works well and the track and facilities are not bad at all. Loads of parking nearby too.
Cheap
1불 싸다
Great place to swim.
Free to jogging in the jogging track, but not sure about the football field. The swimming pool is very affordable and facilities inside it also clean
Home to the Queenstown Water Polo Club, one of the very first water polo establishments, Queenstown Swimming Complex has not changed the layout from when it was first opened in 1970. Facilities are a bit dated, but it’s got very retro-style vibes to it. Overall a decent pool for children to play or for the serious swimmers.
Also, do bring your own post workout snacks or drinks, as the vending machines have been removed and the tuckshop has been vacated a few years ago. Alternatively, a short 3 minute walk to the petrol station just by the main road has a convenience store which sells plenty of food and drinks too.
Clean facilities, well maintained.
Nice place to swim.
Good swimming pool with three separate pools.
There are both running track and swimming pool here which not many people knows.
Wasnt that crowded when we went. Facilities is aged…
Nice, clean public pool. Wish the lanes were roped off for individuals to use instead of sharing but other than that it was nice. Will come back.
Great except that lift is only for handicapped
Functional.
This swimming complex’s facilities like toilets and shower are are quite old and run down, compared to others such as Clementi’s. It can really use a renovation.
The water is… Salty? Weird. Otherwise a nice place to get your laps in.
A bit old but life guards are friendly
Plenty of room, nice place to go for a swim to cool down.
Nice pool
Nice and quiet
I love to come here as it is a pool that reminds me of my school days whereby I studied at Crescent Girls School. It’s also being opened on 15/8/1970, which is a long time pool in Singapore. We need to continue to give it support and make full use of the facilities
Some may say the facility is dated but it remains quite functional with a short and long lap pool and a diving pool. Parking in the facility itself is limited but HDB parking provides more parking areas. Swimsafer exams are conducted here.
Love swimming here! Cosy neighbourhood (:
One of the least crowded complexes!
Had the chance to visit the old stadium when the Asia Pacific Dragons came into town to play in the Rapid Rugby league. Loved the atmosphere and feel of the place as it was liven up. While watching the match, it felt weird architecturally as there were pillars in direct view of the field. No doubt the building and facilities were old and run down but one does wonder when will it be upgraded? Hopefully, the estate gets the glamour it used to have.
4 pools. 1 diving pool, 1 main pool for adukts, 1 for mkds and even 1 for toddlers n infants
Too crowded on late Sat pm to swim in training pool.
Relatively clean, old school outdoor pool!
Nice stadium but not much facilities
Not bad for an old complex
Nice, clean and deep pool for scuba
Never ever go on weekends
Best Place to Train in Singapore
I like the swimming pool but I do not know how to swim
Nostalgia. Never changed layout for almost 30 years.
Great swimming pool, but crowded and not comfortable shower and toilet
Nice pool
The place is rather empty and its great if ur concern about hygiene.
Pool is clean but quite crowded at weekend. Try to avoid 4-7pm
There are awimming lessons which are actively taking place on weekends. Its part of the Sports complex with running tracks.
Old public swimming complex.
since 1970. the crowd is better than the other nearby pool. so it’s good for serious lap swimming.
sports gathering place
运动聚集地
A beautiful place to swim and relax.
An aging sport complex showing its age. But it is peaceful and quiet for a run, swim or walk on a weekday afternoon:-)
Quite smelly
Quite place
Basic but good facilities. Two lifeguards manning the main pool which I thought was good.
Quiet place for a good swim on weekday morning.
nostalgic pool
One of the oldest stadium in Spore
This nostalgic pool retains its 1980s/1990s look and it’s just a 5 minutes walk from Queenstown MRT. The competition pool here is different from the pools in other swimming complex as there are 9 lanes and the two ends are 1.2m and 1.5m deep. (Most other pools have 8 lanes and both ends are 1.2m deep.) The water level is also a foot lower than the edge, necessitating the use of the ladder or very strong arms to get out.
I like the old fashion swim pool feel with the style of its own but can do improvement works and bring back a cafe.
Very old complex
safe, fine =))
Heritage pool
Peaceful swim …
Queenstown comprehensive sports venues, sports fields, and swimming pools include a 50-meter deep pool, a 25-meter medium pool, a high-level diving pool and a wading pool. There are few people in Shuiqing, and the fare is $1 during normal times and $1.30 on weekends. no time limit.
女皇镇综合体育运动场馆,运动场,游泳池包括50米深水池,25米中水池,高台跳水池和浅水池。水清人少,票价平时$1,周末$1.30。没有时间限制。
Old swimming pool
One of the oldest public swimming complex in Singapore. Decently maintained but showing its age. Shower area is vintage and water pressure is inconsistent.
Even the old tampines swimming complex has been redeveloped into Tampines Hub, I don’t see why queenstown don’t deserve a queenstown hub.
Nice dive pool for practice
Old classic swimming pool.
Awesome pool
Great pools! One Olympic sized, two training sized. It is very clean, and lots of room to sit and watch the swimming. The changing rooms were also good. There are paid lockers, but they are not too expensive. The pool water is quite salty and heavy, but not uncomfortable to swim in.
Opened in January 1970, Queenstown Swimming Complex was the first public pool built in a housing estate in Singapore.
Designed with a 4m-deep diving pool as well as an Olympic-sized competition pool, Queenstown Swimming Complex was the training ground of the famous water polo team in the seventies.
Queenstown Swimming Complex is a public swimming complex operated by Sport Singapore. Queenstown Sport Centre, formerly known as Queenstown Sport and Recreation Centre, continues to attract a group of regulars which consist of locals and expatriates alike.
Queenstown operates one of the two diving pools managed by Sport Singapore, and it has a unique architecture which gives the guest an elevated view of its surrounding. Visitors to Queenstown will no doubt experience a sense of nostalgia, with many older Singaporeans sharing fond memories of this iconic location.
Local swimming complex for public. Old but full of history.
Good
Several swimming pools and stadium. You can use easy-link card to pay for the entrance.
Great complex
Open air pitch
Swimming pool is huge and clean..my kids love it
Low cost of sgd 1.3. Experienced swimmers have a great lap pool. For learners, its a small pool compared to what is available in Marsling. But I think it was sufficient for the crowd
Nice place to swim. Place is abit old though. Touch up or renovation will be good. Used to have eating cafe but abolished. Hope cafe can make a come back to reminisce childhood days.
Very old public swimming pool. Screaming for an upgrade, can’t wait to see Delta Pool reopens.
Opened in 1970, it’s one of the oldest public swimming pool in existence. It comprises of a 50 metres competition pool, 1children pool, 2 toddler pool and a 10 metres diving pool. It is also home of the famous Queenstown water polo club where it produces many Asian Games Champion. Next to the swimming complex, there is a running track and football pitch.
Children swimming pools are closed but children can swim in the adult pools with close adult supervision. Do book your slot prior to coming by using your activesg account and go book under facilities. Have fun!
Old and run down. But has a thinner crowd than other pools in the area. There are tanning decks. The pool depth is 1.5m. Swimming lessons are not conducted in the competitive pool so more space for swimmers.

Great place for swim. With baby pool, medium pool of 25m good for beginners and also the usual deep pool!
Book time slot via activesg facilities and pay via activesg$ or credit. No use of e tickets previously bought unless it is for swim lessons.
One entry per day for 1 hr.
Nested in an increasingly upmarket Queenstown neighbourhood is this quaint fully equipped swimming pool – a throw back to the 1970s feel .. totally airy
and laid back .. together with the old HDB estate that surrounds this pool, it takes me back to simpler times of our developing nation.
Spent a peaceful weekday morning at the pool .. if only we could retain a small piece of this history ..
Afro village swimming pool
Afrose village swimming pool
Old school swimming pool
Old fashioned pool but clean and good for serious swimming. Track good for both long distance running and intervals
Love the history of this place. Let’s hope it’s preserved and maintained
Absolutely FUNtastic …
Very clean swimming pool. They have a 4-meter-deep pool which is suitable for diving lessons. Shower facilities are adequate so no long queues after swimming.
Used to go here every week.Nice to go for swimming here got for adults and children pool.
Great outdoor pool. Get an Active SG pass, get fit and live your best life.
There is a diving pool there but not open to public
Normal pool, changing room bit dirty. Need more light at changing room.
A little old and run down but still a great place to swim.
Peace out place
Great pool and great staff. Total 8 lanes in use, on a crowded day max 4 swimmers per lane tho it’s not so bad if the pace of the swimmers are about the same.
Shower room can be cleaner but this is a public pool so I’m not complaining.
Remember to book your entry via activesg app before your swim session.
Clean and minimalist.
Clean water.. Good Facilities.
Good.. all range of swimming pools are there.

hope to visit in due time
Friendly counter staff
It is a nice pool.
Big pool with lots of shower rooms. Would not recommend swimmers to go over the weekend as there are swim classes for children and it becomes extremely crowded.
a good place to learn swimming if you are in that area, have facilities for swimming test and diving test
Old but nice place to swim and workout. Friendly staff, lifeguards and superb service. There was once I left my belongings in the open when swimming and it began to rain. The staff and lifeguards there helped to place a plastic bag over all the belongings that was placed outside to prevent them to get wet. Great gestures beyond their scope of duties. Thank you!
Nice to do intervals on the track! Hope the pool schedule goes back to normal soon. ( 2020 covid measures).
A relatively old pool situated in a old estate that gives a nostalgic vibe to it. The competition pool is relatively deeper than other pools, and there seems to be a current flowing in a single direction from one side to another, therefore it would appear that one would be able to swim faster in one direction, yet struggle in the other.
Gr8 pool. Not crowded. 3 different levels of pool available
They have swimming pools which cater for different ages, from baby pool to deep pool.
Great venue for runners who wish to train. However, you may wish to avoid visiting on Monday evenings and Thursday evenings, as 3 out of the 6 lanes are reserved by a certain running group.
One very rare old skool public swimming pool where one can impress the girls at the same spot as one’s grandpa
Nice swimming pool
It’s a nice view from the hill. But water current too strong for me.
Very crowded due to the fact that they have closed the children pools, so there’s now only one pool available.
Apparently the kid’s pools will be opened during school holidays, which means that no matter when you go, you can be assured it will always be too busy.
Never seen this canteen operates.. The swimming pools are fine though. There’s diving platforms and diving school here.
Has a Olympic size pool and a 0.9m training pool. One pool with a full 7m diving platform. Quite outdated and toilets are nothing fancy. Old-school lockers and limited seating options. Pools not sheltered from rain. Good for a quick swim.
Use your activesg to pay for entrance fee
1.5m pool
The lifeguards are really thoughtful. When it’s raining they help to cover your belongings with a plastic sheet to keep them dry. I’m impressed (:
The shower cubicles are not clean anymore, especially after the anti-slip mats have been placed; the overall cleanliness has gone down greatly.
Location good but looks old.
Very Nice Swimming Complex For Cheap !!! Rated It 3 Stars Because Of No Air-Con,No Food And No Lazy Pool
Great swimming pool. Clean and well attended. Everyone was helpful. As others have said, the changing rooms are a bit dated but really, what do you expect for $1.30. Who can spend money on facilities in this climate. Easy booking system. Had lane to myself.
Old, small but it is full of old time memory.. it is a very few early sport complex built in 70s that has swimming pool, water pool pool and full size pool… It is pleased to see it is still in operation, a lot of swimming learner groups and less crowded compared to the new, large, model swimming complex with water playground…. You can imagine the retro scene when 70 80 swimming.
Great facility for a world-class lap swimming experience. An excellent public pool facility with lifeguards, locker rooms, and all so cheap. Still gets a lot of use and it can be crowded on weekends. Chlorine levels in the water feel a bit too high. Location is super convenient and near to public transport.
Love the rare 4m deep pool for water polo n freediving practices!

My favourite 50m swimming pool in Singapore. Very clean, well maintained, never crowded old school swimming pool. Water is less chlorinated and mostly salted so, very pleasant skin smell after training. Showers have only cold water but cold water in Singapore is never really cold.
Friendly personal.
An old stadium.
Rain or shine is swimming
風雨不改就是游泳
There are many pools for different age groups of people.
Needs food services
Quaint swimming complex. One of the swimming complex that still retained the design from the olden days. The pools are still great for swimming!
Cool looking
Quite an old establishment
Good swimming complex with various pools for different swimmers. Pool is clean and water is not too strong in chemicals.
Popular place for underwater rugby
Play Water Polo at Queenstown Water Polo Club
One of the older pool in Singapore but still well-maintained. There is also a diving pool.
Old lap pool. Diving board and pool is not for public. No other special facility here There is always some coaching going on there. There are much better public lap/competition pools all over singapore. Not recommended if you have a normal lap pool near your house.
Nostalgic vibes all around, this pool has successfully maintained it’s 80’s/early 90’s aesthetic while keeping the facilities clean and proper. It was a joy to use their facilities.
The track is ok. But the audience seating is a bit run down
Nice old school swimming, opened in 1970. Take u back in time. Grand old lady of Queenstown.
I’m grateful to have this facility near my house. It’s open from very early morning to late evening. Cheap and good!
super many peoople and always crowded
Can be better
The swimming pool still has that nostalgic look. I used to visit this pool when I was a child. The environment looks clean but what is lacking is some refreshment for those who are waiting for their family members to do the lap.
Simply Awesome
Nice place
My all time favorite pool. Clean n peaceful.
Not so clean.
Dated but not crowded on a weekday morning.
Awesome. Scuba training
Nice place to work out and relax
Decent public swimming pool, can have a cleaner toilet though.
Very old swimming complex with basic facilities. Time to upgrade as don’t match with estate and Singapore.
Good place to get away from the heat! Diving boards are unfortunately not available to the public
Very good
Nice not crowded in the evening.
I am regular goer and this place has more to offer than just swimming!!! From Scuba diving training to water polo, it is just funtastic!!
Had seen better days in the past and seriously need some upgrading. Nothing beats the convenience in its location though.
Nothing great
Remember to prepare 20c coin for each locker each time. Very good pool with comfortable temperature and nice staff.
Honestly the pool is very clean and the length is perfect. However the bathrooms are horrible. The water pressure is non existence and you have to keep pushing the button every 3 seconds to keep water flowing.
When I went on a trip, I went free swimming.
In Korea, I only went to the indoor pool, but it felt good to swim freely in the outdoor pool.
It was $1 in Singapore dollars, and it was a 50-meter pool, and the shower room was separated by a cubicle for one person.
Luka was out of the shower and I took it out and left it by the pool for a swim.
I went early in the morning and swam, but I swam while watching the sun rise. If I go to Singapore next time, I’ll swim while watching the sun go down.
very good..enjoy swim
Pool condition is fine.
But the male toilet looks a bit dirty. Shower facility is terrible with leaking or spoil taps.
Sweet and lovely place for swimming
It hosts interesting games like under water hockey and under water rugby
clean and the staff are friendly
Lots of lane
Proper place to swim. There is a pool for kids (without the ability to swim) and for jumping from tower – i guess ~ 7.5 meters.
Same same but different. Was back at the pool, decades after my last visit. Loved the sense of nostalgia. However it needs an upgrade/ update whatever.
The changing rooms and toilets are in need of a upgrade as they are look a little dated though clean and well kept. The pools are clean and well maintained. It’s interesting that the Clementi pool I frequent, has gone through an upgrade a couple of years ago and is currently closed for maintenance. But the Queenstown pool doesn’t seem to have had an upgrade in a long time.
1970 commissioned old pool. Very well maintained. Bring back many memories when I was a kid. The fixture of the building is very well maintained. Handicap lift available. Small garden in pool. Pool of unique design, perhaps a outdated vintage one. Somehow there are currents towards the edge of the pool, not a problem however it’s annoying. Love the 1.5m to 1.8m deep pool. Definitely not for beginners. Toilets are clean and big. This is one of the pool that have not been fully renovated yet… Very vintage. This have the saf-like pool
Nice swimming complex
The home of Queenstown Waterpolo.
