Decent popiah, though the place is quite small. We used to frequent the one at Century Square but it has been closed due to the mall’s renovations.

Qiji has been around for years and maintaining the food quality and even better with healthier choice of brown rice or noodles. Nasi Lemak, Mee Siam, Popiah (spring roll), etc are all time favourites.

Chicken Wings (SGD $1.80 per piece) @ Qi Ji.
    .
Named ‘Miracle’, this halal casual eatery with outlets across Singapore has a few stand out dishes on their menu, including the fried chicken wings.
    .
When fresh out of the fryer and piping hot, their chicken wings have a satisfying crisp juicy crunch, releasing an addictive savoury spice salty flavour. Decadent, can be jelak after a few pieces.

Located in Simei Eastpoint level 1, this little restaurant sells a variety of local favourites like nasi lemak, popiah, mee rebus, mee siam, lontong, tahu goreng, otar and chicken wings. Good place to have a quick bite when you are on the go, prices are affordable with the benefit or doubt that it’s location is in a shopping centre and there’s air-condition. Taste is ok but can be improved as I have tasted better local favourites. Staff here are friendly, service providerd here are quite fast too.

One of the best chains to get your traditional Singapore’s foods. Above hawker’s price but affordable for most people.
The nasi lemak is standard, the mee siam and the laksa are above average, the popiah is generally above the average (depends on the maker).
You can have a healthier choice with the brown rice variants here, not bad for the taste.
